Alex used to have Webster Tarpley on the show all the time, but he hasn't been on the last two, three months. I actually miss the Tarpley interviews.

I suspect that this is the reason:

http://tarpley.net/2011/12/28/critique-of-ron-pauls-austerity-plan/

I like Ron Paul and his goal, but that doesn't mean that his plan to bring about a free society is a very safe one. Leftists like Tarpley and LaRouche certainly have their blinders on when it comes to many subjects, but that is also the case with libertarians. I think the truth is more important than just sticking to one principle all the time.

Why does everyone have to worship Ron Paul?

I think it is sad that they have just removed one of the past parts of the show. They created a very good dynamic together. Tarpley is very scholarly and Alex has a more aggressive style. Most of the other guests aren't comparable to Tarpley.

It's not necessary to agree with everything to have a good conversation!

who told you he won't have Tarpley on anymore, Alex has been aware of Tarpley's views about Ron Paul for some time, so I don't think your assumption is correct

OK, maybe I'm wrong.

I hope that I have misunderstood, and that he still wants Tarpley.

He used to be on the show very often, until these very direct statements about Ron Paul.

He seems to have tried to avoid him the last three months despite a lot of new developments internationally. Tarpley has even been interviewed by other media while visiting Iran.

How about another RP basher, but this time right on GCN! I don't know whether his show will be axed or not, but one thing's for sure, which is that he's not gonna be on the AJ show anytime soon. He's been after his son too.. One of his grudges against RP is that he was in congress while Obama was sworn in, so he's kinda guilty as the rest of the congress for allowing this 'illegal alien' in the WH. Also, RP is not pro-life 100%, whatever that means. Someone better call in to the show and school him on how his stance at this point in time is all but counter-productive.

I'm saying that it's good to also listen to the opinions of people who are on the left. He's not extremely far to the left.

Tarpley has turned up the volume or frequency lately in arguing that the Paul or libertarian approach to fiscal matters, and opposition to the welfare state, leads to 'austerity' nightmares. Libertarians and other free marketeers have replied that the banksters and crony, or state capitalists have scapegoated real capitalism wherever they've gotten caught dumping debt and losses on the public, and this is basically the view Jones has.

It should also be noted that the banksters have also shaken down small and developing nations that don't even have a welfare state apparatus with "austerity," and in the US, the monstrous debt burden and mega-welfare state postdated the pure capitalist phase of its history, indicating the austerity is the result of the Fed and corporate subsidy era, not the relatively debt-free and small government, free market era that preceded it. Tarpley nonetheless keeps lumping true capitalism and state capitalism together, and Jones may not be willing to divert his airtime with Tarpley's anti-libertarian meme any longer.

It is curious that some folks desire to re-institute that left right thing here, and of all the ways to attempt it, they use Webster...

Alex has mentioned Tarpley in a positive light at least 3 times in the last 7 days... he did it about a week ago relating his reporting under fire in Libya, then when Syria Girl was on, and once again today...

A difference of opinion on a few topics of solution between two talk program hosts does not a rip in the space time continuum make...

"Web" is spelling out the false flag Obama is using to destroy the power of congress to declare war right now on the Nightly News... 3/8/12...

Today is the Rubicon moment... they are showing kids in school the movie "Kony 2012" to get the trendies behind Obama's war...
