All one has to do is listen to the strategists who are in the know.

The republican establishment want to lose the Presidency as a strategy.

Why?

They want to pick House seats & win the senate by 2014.

Any discussion about vice-president deal making is irrelevant & a waste of time.

News flash: no matter which of the two major parties "loses" this so-called "election," the Eight Families win, and We the People lose.

Why?

Because they (the Eight Families) own both parties.

Until a critical mass of Americans stop living in denial of this fact, it'll be business as usual for the parasitic ruling class.

Don't worry Ron Paul doesn't need a party, with all the momentum he has right now.

Boy, you got that right... they are doing everything in their power to contain him without blow-back, yet the blow-back is instantaneous with each attempt... "Instant Karma" if you will.

Ron Paul has been with the founders for decades and the time of their message of Liberty has come 'round again... No party's need apply...

each arranged under its leader, and concerting

my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as
the greatest political evil under our Constitution."

Just like in 2008.  McCain was chosen to lose to Obama.

The only Republican candidate who can beat Obama is Ron Paul, but the War, Security, Banking and Imprisonment industries cannot allow that to happen, and the Republican rank and file are letting themselves be manipulated, as usual.

Yes, these elections are rigged, however, with Romney likely getting the GOP nom, Republican voters, in particular their "evangelical" base, will be so discouraged that they won't be going to the polls, which will likely mean big gains in the House and Senate for the Dems. This will be a repeat of 2008, albeit worse.

Again, these elections are rigged, but they don't rig them only in the voting box.

As for 2014? Weren't big gains by the GOP in 2010 supposed to curb Obama's agendas? NOT!

Too bad the charter rules for the Libertarian and Constitution Parties demand they choose their own candidates and not have joint runs like they do in New York State.

One Politician can be on multiple state parties if the parties so endorse them.  On the national level it is just not the case.
