I noticed in a lot of videos Alex selects text to highlight it. I think he's using the windows default colors? I feel this makes it harder to read. To change the colors...
go to "Display Properties"(should be able to get there by right clicking desktop and selecting properties)/click "Appearance" tab, click "Advanced"/"Advance Appearance"/"Item" in the drop down select "Selected Items"/"Color 1" & "Color 2". Color 1 is determines background color and Color 2 determines text color./click "OK" Advance Appearance panel will close./click "Apply" in Display Properties panel and the changes will be applied.
NOTE: I use WinXP, other systems may be set up/mapped differently.
