China cut its holdings of U.S. Treasurys bills in November for a second straight month. China's holdings of Treasurys totalled $1.1326 trillion for the month, compared to $1.1341 trillion in October, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury Department on Jan. 18.

China reduced its holdings of U.S. government bonds on six occasions in 2011, lowering them by $27.5 billion in the first 11 months of the year.

In spite of the cuts, China remained the largest single holder of U.S. government debt.
