The thread title is just one finding in this 2007 survey of heavy viewers vs. light viewers. The corporate media is your enemy!

A panel discussion was held on a survey of how American's moral values are influenced by the media. Topics included the correlation between adults' exposure to television and their acceptance of personal responsibility to self.

Do not underestimate how significant the establishment is in defining what you think is reality.

I forgot to mention that this is from a "conservative/neocon" perspective. Still, very interesting insight into how the media brothel works and thinks.

Yeah, take the Biometrics agenda - tv shows like "NCIS" promote the heck out of it, and they do it in a way where they make you think it's *good* for national security et al. Or how about when they promoted George W. Bush as a born again Christian, and almost everyone(including myself) fell for it largely b/c of how the MSM manufactured deceptively.

Also, have you ever read David Brock's books?(the mediamatters.org guy). Yeah, I know MM.org is funded by George Soros, but at the same time, this so-called "conservative media critic" said some eyepopping things about FOX News and "conservative" talk radio in his books, which this particular subject he exposed had alot of truth to it.

Thank you for the link - yeah, some of this stuff may have "slants" to it, but at the same time they are worth viewing.

Nope, but I will look into it - thanks!

Again, he's a George Soros guy, but still, just merely go to the pages where he talks about FOX's coverage of the Iraq war, as well as GOP's "tax cuts" in "Republican Noise Machine" - only part of the book where he spills alot of truth.

Anyhow, as for the OP you described above, yeah, it's really easy to get fooled thinking you can watch the tv and not be deceived b/c you know all the deceptions. "NCIS" is an example - it appears to be "harmless"(to be fair, not alot of blood and guts, not alot of swearing, and just good-natured people in it), but they will subtlely throw in alot of pro NWO agendas in it.
