WAKING THE MASSES??

Ok, this is a simple (I hope) post.  I am attempting to promote RP with my family, who are all disgruntled Republicans.  The most frustrating response when talking about RP is when they state, "I like him and love his goals, but there is no way the Republicans or Dems will allow him to win a general election", "If I vote for him it will just split the Republican party and end up with Obama again".  I know this is wrong and I have tried to explain that EVERY VOTE COUNTS and if everyone that is disgruntled with the Republican party would vote to change it with RP, HE WOULD WIN in a landslide!  The MSM is trying to brainwash us to believe, "If I vote for him it will just split the Republican party and end up with Obama again."  I have heard this statement from almost every conservative talk show host and it is frustrating me! 

Any suggestions?  I am apparently not getting my points across to my family very well, maybe some of you have some suggestions on what might work?  THANKS IN ADVANCE!

p.s. - On a side note, I just noticed that the spell checker doesn't recognize "Obama" and keeps trying to change it to something else...hehehe.

Ron Paul isn't perfect for everyone and what I hear most of the time is that he is the crazy uncle in the room........but thats what all of the establishment are saying, in fact I think it was a clip off of Fox and friends or the 5 or something where one of those kooks said that and it caught on.  but I believe its because the msm knows the support he has and is trying to BS the people into another candidate.  the Leno interview last night seemed to wake my wife up, just keep pointing out that he is the only one who has not and will not sway from the constitution and even if they don't agree with everything he says at least they know where he stands.

The brainwashed might not vote for him, but the brainwashed will vote for whomever the establishment parades out for them...the time has come to help wake up the masses...if we don't stand for something, they'll fall for anything!
