Ron Paul could really take advantage of the OWS situation. He will definitely be heckled again. Next time he needs to do something radical...
INVITE the hecklers up ON STAGE!
Let them speak. Show his commitment to free speech. Let them say their part and then he can talk about how he has for a long time fought against wall street, excessive corporate power and the military industrial complex. Give examples of the way he has voted. This would give a powerful message. It would make massive waves, generate headlines and powerfully demonstrate that the Tea Party and OWS can unite. The problem isnt socialism or capitalism, its corporatism. He needs to make this point powerfully to both the Tea Party and to OWS. If he can somehow shift the focus of the arguments from the divisive to the root of the problem, the military industrial complex. Remember when Nader came out in support of him, powerful stuff.
Anonymous and OWS have vowed to disrupt the Republican primaries, if he comes out and listens to them publicly, he will mobilise an enormous force a. in support of his campaign and b. against those of his rivals. He should go and speak at OWS rallies or maybe even organise a roundtable with some of its representatives. By ushering them out of his rallies, he is playing into the hands of those that seek to divide. If anyone has Ron Paul's ear, suggest this strategy!
