• Four dead in Liege hand grenade and gun attack • Police confirm one attacker dead, one victim a 'young man' • Dead attacker named as Nordine Amrani• Police tell residents to remain in home Live 14:52 A press conference is due at around 3pm UK time so I expect we'll learn more then but, as of now, there is little obvious evidence of a motive. 14:51 Police are claiming the situation is under control. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/belgium/8953711/Belgium-grenade-attack-live.html

3.35pm: The press conference has confirmed that there was a lone attacker, Nordine Amrani, who killed three and injured 75. He threw three hand grenades and guns which he had brought with him from his home in Liege. http://www.guardian.co.uk/global/blog/2011/dec/13/belgium-attack-grenades-thrown-at-bus-stop-in-liege-live-updatesHe apparently shot himself.

So an Iranian name: a facebook page ... hmm. Iranian terrorist in Belgium. How conveeeeeenient. Nothing to do with Iran I am afraid. No White Supremacists, Free Masons or Neo-Nazis here either. The killer was already known from the local police services. He was sentenced to 58 months of jail 3 years ago. He owned some extremely dangerous weapons. Explosives (hand grenades) and a Kalashnikov were used in the attack. http://www.lesoir.be/regions/liege/2011-12-13/liege-l-auteur-de-l-attaque-connu-des-services-de-police-883483.phpThe killer is not an Iranian. He is originating from the Maghreb (North Africa). There is a very large Maghrebine population in Belgium. First and last name are very common in Algeria. The facebook page might very well be somebody else with the same first and last name. Near the massacre scene... a Christmas market. 4 died. 75 injured/wounded in the attack. Some are in critical condition. http://www.lesoir.be/la_une/RIP all innocent victims.

sentenced to 56 months ... 36 months ago? Furlough?

He's got a Persian name; could be the families emigrated to North Africa. Also there are a lot of Persian Jews living in Israel with the same surname. So who knows - he may just be a nutcase with a grenade. We'll hear the narrative soon.

Delsea to stage simulated crisis response drill http://www.nj.com/gloucester-county/index.ssf/2011/05/delsea_to_stage_simulated_cris.htmlPublished: Saturday, May 21, 2011, 8:00 AM By John Barna/Gloucester County Times FRANKLIN TWP. — Delsea Regional High School will hold a simulated crisis response drill scenario in order to meet the new state mandates for security drills on Thursday, May 26 beginning at 9 a.m. This drill will be a full-scale exercise and will involve a situation with an irate parent at a bus stop who will take over the bus. The police will not be able to intercept the bus which will arrive at school creating a bomb threat and active shooter for the school. This scenario will cause the school to go into lockdown mode and force an evacuation to the middle school. The event, school officials said, will provide information on the school's crisis response plan as well as comply with the state mandate for school security which requires each school to hold one monthly security drill along with a monthly fire drill according to the new state law passed in November 2010. In addition, schools must work with local emergency responders to update safety and security plans, and to create procedures for drilling, managing and responding to school emergencies. The new law also requires all full-time school employees to receive training on school safety and security and drills. Delsea has been holding simulated drills for the past 10 years.

How many of these guys does the EU have available for such operations? A guy like this...in the super surveillant state of the EU authority? First reports were multiple people but within minutes a full investigation into the largest instantaneous mass murder in recent Belgian history is suddenly over? HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE IF IT IS NOT PART OF A NARRATIVE CONTROLLED FROM ABOVE? THE BLOOD IS STILL WET ON THE STREETS AND THE INVESTIGATION IS CALLED OFF? W T F ?

Seeing he was known to the police and, apparently, a loose cannon, doesn't that make him even more likely to be a patsy? It sure doesn't eliminate the possibility.
Also, earlier reports said he killed himself, but now some are saying that fact is unclear.

It sure doesn't eliminate the possibility. absolutely! same as with uncle fester when the fast and furious guns were used to assassinate judge roll in the Safeway Massacre which had at least 20 people involved including another 100 people running clean up operations likely out of National Clandestine Services or TRACK II. Also, earlier reports said he killed himself, but now some are saying that fact is unclear.
They will keep refining the mythology and narratives as the physical evidence does not match up with the bullshit story, there will be at least 50 revisions of this story, but zero investigations into this globalist mass murdering of innocent civilians in sovereign countries.

W T F ? And here's how you enable the "success" of these false flags--America is now fully set up for the same things: 1st Responder network will eliminate whistleblowers/enforce compartmentalizationNow it will be even easier to carry out false flags and for jackbooted Nazi police to murder U.S. citizens:http://www.federalnewsradio.com/?nid=436&sid=2651453House bill to create public safety broadband network By Jolie Lee Web Editor Federal News Radio Two House lawmakers will introduce a bill to create a nationwide, interoperable broadband network for first responders. In the aftermath of Sept. 11, 2011, emergency responders found they could not communicate with each other. A decade later, that problem persists. The Wireless Innovation and Public Safety Act of 2011 would provide the Federal Communications Commission with an incentive to auction the radio space known as the D-block and allocate the spectrum for public safety use. The bill also establishes the Public Safety Broadband Corporation, a private non-profit, to oversee the spectrum. California Reps. Henry Waxman, Anna Eshoo and other Democratic co-sponsors of the bill, said their proposal builds on legislation introduced in the Senate in May. Construction of a nationwide broadband network remains "critical unfinished business," said Waxman, ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, in a statement. Eshoo, ranking member of the Communications and Technology Subcommittee, said the bill recognizes the surge in mobile use. " - ur bill will tackle this growing demand by expanding the availability of both licensed and unlicensed spectrum," she said in a statement.
The House proposal comes as the National Institute of Standards and Technology is seeking input on a public safety broadband network. In September, NIST sought comments for wireless innovation ideas.

ASSOCIATED PRESS via http://jackpotinvestor.com/2011/breaking-stories/12/13/grenade-attack-kills-two-in-belgium/LIEGE, Belgium— Several men armed with hand grenades and guns attacked a busy bus stop in eastern Belgium on Tuesday, killing two people and wounding at least a dozen, officials and media reports said. At least two people were killed and 10 wounded Tuesday when a crowd at a Christmas market in the Belgian city of Liege was attacked with hand grenades. (AP Photo/ Virginia Mayo) The attack left blood splattered across the cobblestones of the central area of Liege city, which was crowded with people doing Christmas shopping in nearby markets. Footage from the scene showed people, including a large group of children, fleeing down the streets of the city center—some still carrying shopping bags. Ambulances and police vehicles descended on the area. Officials and the media reports had no information about the identity of the two or three assailants or what could have motivated their attack. But the Belgian public broadcaster VRT reported they remained at large and police were telling residents to stay in their homes or seek shelter in shops or public buildings. The daily newspapers Le Soir and La Capitale reported that three assailants threw grenades into a crowd at the bus shelter and opened fire with guns. Belgian media reported that one of the attackers was apparently killed, a man believed to be about 40 years old. The daily La Meuse newspaper said an attacker had killed himself. In the Belgian capital Brussels, Interior Ministry official Peter Mertens confirmed the attack and said at least one or two assailants were involved and at least one person was killed and several were wounded. --- AP has now changed the source story.

'You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force ... the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security."This was the essence of Operation Gladio, a decades-long covert campaign of terrorism and deceit directed by the intelligence services of the West -- against their own populations.
Hundreds of innocent people were killed or maimed in terrorist attacks --
on train stations,
supermarkets,
cafes
and offices -- which were then blamed on "leftist subversives" or other political opponents. The purpose, as stated above in sworn testimony by Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra, was to demonize designated enemies and frighten the public into supporting ever-increasing powers for government leaders -- and their elitist cronies.First revealed by Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti in 1991, Gladio (from the Latin for "sword") is still protected to this day by its founding patrons, the CIA and MI6. Yet parliamentary investigations in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium have shaken out a few fragments of the truth over the years. These have been gathered in a new book, "NATO's Secret Armies: Operation Gladio and Terrorism in Western Europe," by Daniele Ganser, as Lila Rajiva reports on CommonDreams.org. Originally set up as a network of clandestine cells to be activated behind the lines in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe, Gladio quickly expanded into a tool for political repression and manipulation, directed by NATO and Washington. Using right-wing militias, underworld figures, government provocateurs and secret military units, Gladio not only carried out widespread terrorism, assassinations and electoral subversion in democratic states such as Italy, France and West Germany, but also bolstered fascist tyrannies in Spain and Portugal, abetted the military coup in Greece and aided Turkey's repression of the Kurds. Among the "smoking guns" unearthed by Ganser is a Pentagon document, Field Manual FM 30-31B, which details the methodology for launching terrorist attacks in nations that "do not react with sufficient effectiveness" against "communist subversion." Ironically, the manual states that the most dangerous moment comes when leftist groups "renounce the use of force" and embrace the democratic process. It is then that "U.S. army intelligence must have the means of launching special operations which will convince Host Country Governments and public opinion of the reality of the insurgent danger." Naturally, these peace-throttling "special operations must remain strictly secret," the document warns. Indeed, it would not do for the families of the 85 people ripped apart by the Aug. 2, 1980 bombing of the Bologna train station to know that their loved ones had been murdered by "men inside Italian state institutions and ... men linked to the structures of United States intelligence," as the Italian Senate concluded after its investigation in 2000. The Bologna atrocity is an example of what Gladio's masters called "the strategy of tension" -- fomenting fear to keep populations in thrall to "strong leaders" who will protect the nation from the ever-present terrorist threat. And as Rajiva notes, this strategy wasn't limited to Western Europe. It was applied, with gruesome effectiveness, in Central America by the Reagan and Bush administrations. During the 1980s, right-wing death squads, guerrilla armies and state security forces -- armed, trained and supplied by the United States -- murdered tens of thousands of people throughout the region, often acting with particular savagery at those times when peaceful solutions to the conflicts seemed about to take hold. Last month, it was widely reported that the Pentagon is considering a similar program in Iraq. What was not reported, however -- except in the Iraqi press -- is that at least one pro-occupation death squad is already in operation. Just days after the Pentagon plans were revealed, a new militant group, "Saraya Iraqna," began offering big wads of American cash for insurgent scalps -- up to $50,000, the Iraqi paper Al Ittihad reports. "Our activity will not be selective," the group promised. In other words, anyone they consider an enemy of the state will be fair game. Strangely enough, just as it appears that the Pentagon is establishing Gladio-style operations in Iraq, there has been a sudden rash of terrorist attacks on outrageously provocative civilian targets, such as hospitals and schools, the Guardian reports. Coming just after national elections in which the majority faction supported slates calling for a speedy end to the American occupation, the shift toward high-profile civilian slaughter has underscored the "urgent need" for U.S. forces to remain on the scene indefinitely, to provide security against the ever-present terrorist threat. Meanwhile, the Bushists continue constructing their long-sought permanent bases in Iraq: citadels to protect the oil that incoming Iraqi officials are promising to sell off to American corporations -- and launching pads for new forays in geopolitical domination. Perhaps it's just a coincidence. But the U.S. elite's history of directing and fomenting terrorist attacks against friendly populations is so extensive -- indeed, so ingrained and accepted -- that it calls into question the origin of every terrorist act that roils the world. With each fresh atrocity, we're forced to ask: Was it the work of "genuine" terrorists or a "black op" by intelligence agencies -- or both? While not infallible, the ancient Latin question is still the best guide to penetrating the bloody murk of modern terrorism: Cui bono? Who benefits? Whose powers and policies are enhanced by the attack? For it is indisputable that the "strategy of tension" means power and profit for those who claim to possess the key to "security." And from the halls of the Kremlin to the banks of the Potomac, this cynical strategy is the ruling ideology of our times.

From the video description: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuUGTxflqI01.16pm: Details are still very confused. Le Soir, Belgium's biggest daily francophone paper, is reporting that the attack was carried out by at least two people- one of whom died in the explosions, one of whom fled. He is understood to have hidden shortly after 1.30pm [local time] in a wing of Liège's new palais de justice. Witnesses have reported that shots were still being heard about an hour after the attack took place. In this Telegraph clip, witness says "two killers" at 40 sec.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEkuXoaKaCg

Operation Gladio is designed to attack civilians in surrounding suburbs and not just the big cities. It is a campaign of total fear against the civilian population so that they demand their own imprisonment.

Watch for the sensationalist media There was no 4 shooters. This massacre is the act of a lone killer. * look at the picture of one of the shot dead students lying down on the wet pavement * 4 have died in the attack - the killer who shot himself - two students who had just finished their exams - an elderly woman - age 75 http://www.lesoir.be/He was on the roof of a bakery. He first threw hand grenades on a bus stop and emptying rounds of ammo on the crowd with a Kalashnikov submachine gun. Then he killed himself His car was found on the square where the massacre took place.

Picture: AFP A GUNMAN armed with grenades has opened fire on a square packed with children and Christmas shoppers in the eastern Belgian city of Liege, killing four people and wounding 75. Officials named the gunman, who was himself also killed in circumstances that are not yet clear, as Nordine Amrani, 33, a known criminal who had been summoned by police that morning but who never showed up. Among the three passers-by killed when Amrani went on his shooting spree near the city's courthouse overnight was a 15-year-old boy who died instantly and a 17-year-old boy and 75-year-old woman who died later in hospital. The lunchtime (local time) attack sent terrified residents running through the streets for their lives, fleeing into churches and shops as the gunman fired on a crowded square. "We heard two huge deafening noises and then lots of explosions, people were running everywhere," a baker named only as Patricia said on RTL-TV. "We closed the door, turned off the lights and hid behind the counter with the customers." The country's federal crisis centre said it was neither a terrorist incident nor linked to a pending criminal trial. "It's very difficult to determine the reasons for the attack, but we're investigating all avenues," the centre's Benoit Ramacker said. King Albert II and Queen Paola rushed to the scene, as did newly named Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo and Belgium's Home Affairs Minister Joelle Milquet broke off European Union talks and too was headed for Liege. "It's uncertain yet whether he (Amrani) killed himself or whether his weapons exploded," public prosecutor Danielle Reynders said. "He left his home this morning with his backpack and his arms," she said, adding that he climbed on to the roof of a bakery shop "and fired and then threw three grenades". Hours later groups of people sat weeping on footpaths amid the screech of ambulance sirens and the roar of helicopters. Pools of blood lay on the streets. The shooting took place around noon on Saint-Lambert square, home to the courthouse and located near a busy Christmas market in the town of 196,000 people. Some initial reports said it was a foiled bid to rescue a suspect from the courthouse. Police had raided Amrani's Liege home recently seeking cannabis plants but had found weapons instead. In 2008 he was sentenced to almost five years behind bars for illegal possession of arms and growing cannabis. Ms Reynders said although the gunman had a record for drugs dealing, arms possession and holding stolen goods, there had never been a sign he was unbalanced in any way. There was much initial confusion over the shooting as events unfolded, with initial reports of more than one gunman. Journalist Nicolas Gilenne said he had just left the courthouse where he was covering a trial when the attack began. "I saw a man wave his arm and throw something at the bus shelter. I heard an explosion. He turned around, picked something else up, pulled the pin. I started to run. He was alone and seemed very much in control. "He wanted to hurt as many people as possible. I heard four explosions and shots during about 10 seconds." Residents had earlier told local television that shots were fired across the square by gunmen posted on the rooftop of a bakery and grenades hurled at bus shelters and into the courthouse. Reports had also said that two to three gunmen armed with either explosive flash grenades or killer defensive grenades were involved. "The city centre is completely cordoned off. People are sheltering in shops or in buildings. Police are in position," said a town hall employee contacted by AFP who asked not to be identified. "Luckily the mayor had postponed the opening of the Christmas market due to bad weather and high winds. Otherwise many more would have died," the employee said. http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/266368/20111213/belgium-attack-terrorists-photos-escaped-convictes.htm"The mayor of Liege, Willy Demeyer, confirmed that three males tried to escape from the palace of justice, according to the main Flemish paper, De Standaard." "Confirmed" is a pretty strong word. Though I doubt three escapees would be interested in a mass murder so soon after escaping. And where did they get the weaponry? Three men 'tried' to escape? Is this supposed to be coincidental with the killings? A very strange link.

Man Hurls Grenades Into Christmas Shoppers In Belgian-6 Killed, 123 Wounded By Peter Allen 15-year-old boy, 17-year-old girl and 20-year-old man also among the dead Killer named as Nordine Amrani, convicted sex attacker and drug dealer Attacker used a pistol, a rifle and hand grenades Six people died and 123 were injured when a rogue gunman lobbed grenades and shot into crowds of shoppers at a Christmas market in Liege, Belgium. The shoppers, many of them children, ran screaming for safety in the panic as the gunman, named as career criminal Nordine Amrani, 33, opened fire. The dead included an 18-month old girl who lost her fight for survival in hospital this evening. Other victims included a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl, a 20-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman were confirmed as the other victims. Police said tonight that the killer was a convicted sex attacker and drug dealer, who had recently been released from prison. Men, women and children fled down the streets of the city centre - some still carrying shopping bags - as ambulances and police descended on the area. Reports said Amrani used an FN FAL automatic rifle, a Belgian made rifle capable of firing 700 rounds a minute, a pistol and threw three grenades in the attack. In the initial chaos, reports said up to three men had taken part in the attack, but the Interior Ministry later confirmed only one was involved, adding the incident was not terrorism-related. Amrani was on his way for police questioning when he attacked a crowd near a bus stop at Place Saint Lambert, a central shopping square which is the site of the city's Christmas market and its main courthouse. It was not clear whether he committed suicide or died accidentally. Gaspard Grosjean, a journalist for local Liege newspaper La Meuse, ran over to the square just after the attack, shortly after 12.30pm. Yes, interesting how the MSM no longer pushes the Terrorist group line and instead now push the Lone Gunman before all the facts are in.

15:18 A Belgian Interior Ministry official, Peter Mertens, says there was only one attacker, who was killed in the incident, adding that it was not related to terrorism. 15.51 In another shocking attack in Europe today, a far-Right lone gunman shot dead two Senegalese street vendors and seriously wounded a third in broad daylight at a market in Florence, before killing himself, according to reports: 16.27 Still confusion over whether the Liege gunman committed suicide or died by accident:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/belgium/8955077/Liege-attacks-womans-body-found-at-home-of-Belgi"A search last night revealed in a warehouse used by the attacker, notably to grow cannabis, the body of a woman killed by the attacker before he went to the Place Saint Lambert," said Prosecutor Cedric Visart de Bocarme. ... Police searched the warehouse, discovering a store of heavy weaponry. There doesn't seem to be that much curiosity in the media or police about where exactly Amrani got all his gear. But I think someone who can get grenades and military-style assault weapons has connections to the criminal underworld or the military/intelligence apparatus(or am I being redundant?). But of course that wouldn't fit their 'lone whackjob' mold, now would it?

Coincidence? Synchronicity? Complicity? From that article: NEWARK — Baggage screeners at Newark Liberty International Airport seized five inoperable grenades packed in a checked bag by a woman flying to Belgium, the Transportation Security Administration said today. TSA explosives experts were called to the baggage screening area on Saturday, after the heavy metal grenade casings were spotted while the bag was being X-rayed, the agency said. The woman was allowed to continue on to Belgium after the experts determined the grenades were "inert," and never posed a threat.
The woman was not identified. A TSA spokeswoman, Lisa Farbstein, could not say what the woman had intended to do with the grenades once she reached Europe. The Port Authority Police Department, which investigates criminal activity at the airport, were not contacted about the incident, said Al Della Fave, a PAPD spokesman. The TSA posts a list of contraband items for checked and carry-on bags at its website, www.tsa.gov. While other TSA agents were down the hall with their hands in some toddler's pants, the TSA allows a woman carrying grenade casings to move along, no big deal. Amazing.
