YouTube Accounts Deleted Monday
The Young Turks video
is claiming that on Monday, Youtube will start deleting all accounts that do not have a Google or gmail email address. The only info that verifies this is

Personally, I don't take the Young Turks all that seriously, but they come off as a bit clownish in this presentations et al.
However, I don't think they would be lying about this issue.

Google ate my original Directors account on youtube.. AutoMuted some videos where I've had music.. Claimed copyright on a video that I recorded with nothing but ME talking. So dumb, there's no customer support. I wonder how my channel is going to evolve. I have a google account but I refuse to do the google+ thing, facebook is enough for me thanks. Its bad enough they also ate my blogger account as well. Gmail is great but holy storage space, I will never be able to read all the unread messages I have. I'm considering writing more music since YouTube is protecting our intellectual rights so much. Then if someone uses one of my songs I can SUE and get bajillions of rupees. Right? Right? Or is it only eOne and Sony that can do that..

i went throught the same ordeal 3 to 4 yrs ago with youtube and google in particular, they unshared all my stuff , and youtube did same, they cleaned my slates, then one day they all some of em came back, and i regrouped and re shared as much was still avail, happened around the same time the download in psp or whatever buttons used to be there and i downloaded all of it i could, , they caught on to that after about a yr and upteen gigs lol,

Yes, they did this to my flatmate on Monday also.They sent him email's saying if he didn't get a Google account it would be deleted.And it was.
