This probably won't make much sense to some people but neither does the way most people see things and how they see what's been happening in the world. Mainly from a perspective of the American public. Each their own and thank you for your time in reading this.

There's a knock in the engine and the tires are flat. The general public turns up the radio and ignores the people including friends and family getting run over and getting oil sprayed all over them but the driver keeps driving to the same mechanic and ignoring the people getting hurt and the problems with the car.

But once they bring the car in to get fixed (elections), the driver doesn't actually know that the policy of the owners of the 2 shops the driver goes to tells the management do things to the engine so they have to come back after a while to either shop. The mechanics think their doing the right thing for themselves because they'll get more money when the car comes back to get fixed.

The driver doesn't know that the same people own both shops because they're too distracted by sports and entertainment and turn up the radio for their favorite music so they don't have to hear their friend or family member that actually studies cars that's telling them the shops are deliberately screwing them over.

But the driver doesn't care or believe them because the mechanics and managers of the shops seem to be so nice and seem to want to do a good job and they've been going to them forever and don't want to deal with it or see if it's true that they're getting screwed or not. All they know is they think their car just has bad luck. So attached to that shop that they keep going back until one day, their car is dead and they have to deal with not having a car anymore.
