The moderators tried to totally controlled the debate.
They started by trying to tell the audience not to show support for any candidate.
Were they afraid that the audience would show too much support for someone in particular?
The applause, and the booing, that you heard were violations of the moderators instructions.
The moderators asked different questions to each of the candidates.
Is it not the purpose of a debate to COMPARE the positions of the candidates?
They asked candidates, OTHER than DR. PAUL, about ABOUT LOWERING TAXES, BUT THEY NEVER LET DR. PAUL COMMENT on this question.
This is amazing, since Dr. Paul is the only candidate with a consistant record, and position, on lowering taxes. The other candidates paid lip service to the ideas of DR. PAUL, even though none of them has a record to support those positions.
The first question that the moderators asked Dr. Paul was "Would you support a GOVERNMENT PROGRAM TO stimulate the economy?"
The moderators know full well that Dr. Paul's agenda is to CUT government out at a solution to problems that are best solved in the private sector. Dr. Paul fielded that question marvelously, pointing out that a government program to cut taxes would stimulate the economy.

The moderators did NOT ask this question to the candidates, whom Dr. Paul had BEATEN in the first two primaries.
They did NOT ask this question to the candidates, whom Dr. Paul had BEATEN in fund raising.
They did NOT ask this question to the candidates, whom Dr. Paul had BEATEN in every one of the HONEST polls.
Some of these candidates, whom Dr. Paul had BEATEN in all of these ways are still being called "top tier" or "front runner".
So how did Dr. Paul do?

Omission of Dr. Paul is definitely against the public interest, right to know and any semblance of fair play. Dr. Paul was asked questions designed to make him look bad. Twice he appeared to be interrupted as moderators called for a break.
Nevertheless, Ron Paul's answers were home runs.
