Romney at CPAC: It’s the Banksters, Mitt

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney told the gathered at CPAC Obama needs to stop blaming Bush for the deficit and high unemployment. “When it comes to pinning the blame, let’s pin the blame on the donkey,” Romney told at the event that should be renamed NeoconPAC.

The establishment is grooming Romney for a 2012 presidential run. It is rumored he will team up with the presumptive Queen of the Neocon Tea Party, Sarah Palin. Part of this grooming process is to take on Obama and the Democrats currently in control of Congress. NeoconPAC provides a perfect venue for Romney and his neocon fellow travelers to play the false right-left paradigm like a squeezebox.
Romney and the Republicans who claim they have embraced the philosophy of the Tea Party constitutionalists will not tell you the truth about deficits, debt, unemployment and the massive misery they create.
In the introduction of her book, The Web of Debt, Ellen Hodgson Brown writes:
Dr. Quigley wrote from personal knowledge of an elite clique of global financiers bent on controlling the world. Their aim, he said, was “nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole.” This system was “to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements.” He called this clique simply the “international bankers.” Their essence was not race, religion or nationality but was just a passion for control over other humans. The key to their success was that they would control and manipulate the money system of a nation while letting it appear to be controlled by the government.
Romney, in his speech at NeoconPAC, played on the illusion that the government controls the money system. He knows — or should know — that Obama and the Democrats have nothing to do with creating debt and bankruptcy and the engineered impoverishment of the nation.
Romney, in his speech at NeoconPAC, played on the illusion that the government controls the money system. He knows — or should know — that Obama and the Democrats have nothing to do with creating debt and bankruptcy and the engineered impoverishment the nation.
Both Democrats and Republicans take orders from the bankers who own the two party political system in the United States. Obama takes orders from agents of the bankster cartel in his administration, namely Larry Summers (CFR, Trilateral Commission, former Secretary of the Treasury, and economist for the World Bank loan sharking operation), Timothy Geithner (Trilateral Commission, Secretary of the Treasury, former New York Fed boss), and Paul Volcker (Trilateral Commission, former Fed boss, and Chase Manhattan operative), to name but three.
“Every major crisis we face today is directly attributable to policies put forth and executed by members of [the] Trilateral Commission: Banking/lending/mortgage crisis, energy/gas price crisis, food/shortage/price crisis,” writes Patrick Wood. “In addition, in the last fifteen to twenty years we have lost of millions of prime manufacturing jobs to China, India and Mexico. Our prime assets are being purchased by sovereign wealth funds and foreign investors. Our currency has all but been destroyed throughout the world.”
Romney would have you believe the current crisis — nothing less than a continuation of the crisis under Bush — can be pinned on the Democrat donkey.
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers,” Quigley wrote in Tragedy and Hope. “Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”
Romney and the neocon Republicans are selling “approximately the same basic policies” as the Democrats, that is to say the policies of the bankster cartel. The real shame is that a large number of Americans are fooled by this chicanery every four years. Obamatrons and CPACers especially.

Bill O’Reilly Says “Fiscal Tough Guy” Romney Will Be Next President
Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
June 23, 2010
Fox News “conservative” (who has proposed a national sales tax) Bill O’Reilly says the next president will be obliged to cut the federal budget. He predicts Mitt Romney will fill the order. But as Carla Howell writes, Romney is anything but a fiscal tough guy of the sort O’Reilly demands.
[Embedded video omitted - see original article]
Romney has not only raised taxes in Massachusetts, he has expanded the budget. Romney’s budget cuts, writes Howell, “were merely budget games. Spending cuts in one area were simply moved into another area of the budget.” The Massachusetts state budget was $22.7 billion a year when he took office in January of 2003, but when he left office four years later, it was over $25.7 billion — plus another $2.2 billion in spending that the legislature took “off budget.”
“The net effect of budgets proposed and signed into law by Mitt Romney? An additional $5.2 billion in state spending — and a similar increase in new taxes. Every year.”
Romney teamed up with the late Teddy Kennedy to burden the people of Massachusetts with government mandated health care. “Voters of Massachusetts did not vote for RomneyCare. Mitt Romney foisted the granddaddy of Big Government expansions upon them without warning. He championed it from the beginning. Again, without any prodding from his Democrat rivals,” writes Howell.
Maybe Bill O’Reilly likes Mitt because he proposed and then foisted new taxes on the people of Massachusetts. In December, 2009, Bill debated Glenn Beck on what sort of additional tax burden to impose on the American people. Bill advocated a sales tax and Beck argued in favor of a value added tax. These guys claim to be opposed to big government. They are highly paid whores for the global elite and the banksters.

When he ran for Governor of Massachusetts in 2002, Romney proposed three new taxes — a new tax on vehicles, a new tax on campaign donations, and a new tax on building construction. “Each of the four years Romney served as governor, he raised taxes — while pretending he didn’t. He claims he only raised mandatory government ‘fees.’ But government mandatory fees are nothing but taxes, and taxes are nothing but mandatory government fees. Romney’s new tax-fees raised hundreds of millions of dollars in new tax revenue for the state government every year.” He also closed “loopholes” that allowed the state to impose an internet sales tax.
Mitt Romney is a tax and spend Republican. Bill O’Reilly knows this. O’Reilly is pushing Mitt as president because the banksters want the debt they sold to the government paid off and in the process turn the American people into serfs and debt slaves. It is Bill’s job to get a “fiscal tough guy” who is in fact a tax and spender in the Oval Office.
“The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international,” said CFR historian Carrol Quigley. “The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead the two parties should be almost identical, so the that American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.”

Hypocrite Romney Is Just As Elitist As Obama
Attempt to appear as “man of the people” falls flat
Steve Watson
Prisonplanet.com
Sept 27, 2011
The corporate media’s declared GOP front runner Mitt Romney has been attempting to win over voters recently by painting himself up as a “man of the people”, arguing that Obama’s Ivy League education and elitism serves as a distinct disconnect.
However, the suggestion that Romney somehow represents the antithesis of such elitism or any kind of shift away from the status quo in Washington, crumbles with a cursory peek into his own background.
In several recent campaign speeches, Romney has, rather hilariously, targeted Obama’s foreign policy in such terms.
In a speech last month to Veterans of Foreign Wars national convention in San Antonio, Romney said of the idea that if the United States recedes, its enemies will reciprocate, “That may be what they think in that Harvard faculty lounge…but it’s not what they know on the battlefield!”
Ignoring the ludicrous idea that Romney knows anything about being on a battlefield, his Harvard comments are meaningless given that he himself graduated from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School with, count them, two degrees. Romney received a JD and an MBA in 1975, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
In addition, one of Romney’s chief foreign policy advisers is former Bush aide Meghan O’Sullivan, a Harvard international relations professor – who could be more familiar with the inside of the dreaded Harvard faculty lounge?
Romney’s chief economic advisor, N. Gregory Mankiw, is a Harvard economics professor.
Three of Romney’s sons all graduated from Harvard Business School.
Romney notoriously awarded $50,000 to Harvard Business School in 2003 and has to date received more than $56,000 in donations from Harvard professors and the spouses of Harvard professors.
Yes Obama is undoubtedly a hand picked elitist Harvard educated president, yet Romney was formed in the exact same mould.

Mitt Romney’s Neocon Foreign Policy Plan
by Prof. Lawrence S. Wittner
Global Research, October 11, 2011
Consortiumnews.com - 2011-10-10
Presidential contender Mitt Romney has laid out his vision for a foreign policy in a Romney administration – and it looks like it could have been dreamt up by the same neocons who guided George W. Bush’s disastrous pursuit of permanent U.S. military dominance.
If current polls are correct, Mitt Romney seems likely to become the 2012 Republican presidential candidate and, quite possibly, the next president of the United States.
Therefore, we should carefully examine his first major foreign and military policy address — delivered on Oct. 7 at the Citadel, in Charleston, South Carolina — and ponder the question: Is Mitt Romney ready for the world?
Romney began his speech with a heavy dose of fear. Iran, he warned, could well become “a fully activated nuclear weapons state, threatening its neighbors, [and] dominating the world’s oil supply.” Indeed, “Iran’s suicidal fanatics could blackmail the world.”
In Afghanistan, the Taliban might well “find a path back to power,” with the country sinking “back into the medieval terrors of fundamentalist rule.” Pakistan’s instability could end up placing nuclear weapons “in the hands of Islamic jihadists,” while “the malign socialism” of Venezuela and Cuba could “undermine the prospects of democracy” in Latin America.
Then, of course, there are the heavy dancers. China’s leaders could well take that nation down “a darker path, intimidating their neighbors, brushing aside an inferior American Navy in the Pacific, and building a global alliance of authoritarian states.”
And Russia might well “bludgeon the countries of the former Soviet Union into submission, and intimidate Europe with the levers of its energy resources.” Nor should people forget “Islamic fundamentalism, with which we have been at war since Sept. 11, 2001.”
Fortunately, though, there is help for a beleaguered world on the horizon.
“God did not create this country to be a nation of followers,” Romney explained. “America is not destined to be one of several equally balanced global powers.” Instead, “the United States should always retain military supremacy.”
As president, he would not “wave the white flag of surrender” but, rather, “devote” himself to building “an American century.” As he explained: “The twenty-first century can and must be an American century.” He would “not surrender America’s role in the world. . . . If you do not want America to be the strongest nation on earth, I am not your president.”
And how, exactly, would this American century be achieved? To provide the major pillar for the new order, Romney would “reverse President Obama’s massive defense cuts.”
(The fact that there were no defense cuts during the Obama years — indeed, that Obama took office with an annual Defense Department budget of $513 billion and, as of Sept. 30 of this year, had an annual Defense Department budget of $530 billion, plus increased spending for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — seems not to have thrown Romney off stride.)
In the production of new U.S. warships alone, Romney promised to increase the annual number from nine to 15. He would also dramatically upgrade the (still unworkable) national missile defense system.
“In an American century,” he argued, America needed “the strongest military in the world.”
Of course, this military behemoth (currently costing almost as much as the military forces of all other nations combined) would have lots of work to do. In Afghanistan, for example, Romney would call a halt to plans for U.S. military withdrawal.
Meanwhile, he would “speak with our generals in the field, and receive the best recommendation of our military commanders” as to “the force level necessary to secure our gains and complete our mission successfully.” That might require a lot of troops, a lot of money, and a lot of time.
Throughout his address, Romney never acknowledged that, at least on occasion, U.S. foreign policy might have been plagued by faulty judgments or methods. Naturally, then, he did not mention the unnecessary Iraq war, the past U.S. support of Osama bin Laden, or other embarrassing ventures.

Romney Took Advice From Obama’s Eugenics Enthusiast Science Czar
John P. Holdren’s job looks safe if Romney gets GOP nod
Steve Watson

An interesting piece from Investors.com notes that the corporate media darling GOP frontrunner, Mitt Romney, previously sought advice from White House science czar John P. Holdren when crafting carbon tax legislation for Massachusetts five years ago.
Under Romney’s leadership, Massachusetts became the first state in the country to pass legislation to regulate carbon emissions, in 2006. This is “something the Obama administration is trying to do to all states through the Environmental Protection Agency’s draconian job-killing regulations and mandates.” notes the Investors editorial.
Indeed, while other GOP candidates have expressed doubts about the effectiveness and legitimacy of carbon taxes, Romney has managed to attract the praise of Al Gore who stated in June that “While other Republicans are running from the truth, he is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party.”
Romney’s position on Global warming is clear, in a June 3rd speech he stated “I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world’s getting warmer. I can’t prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that.”
It is Romney’s association with John P. Holdren that should be most concerning for Americans, however.
In 2005, a memo from the Massachusetts governor’s office noted that the new policy on carbon emissions had been in part drawn up with advice and input from “environmental and policy experts” including “John Holdren, professor of environmental policy at Harvard University.”
As we have exhaustively documented, Holdren infamously co-wrote a 1977 textbook in which he advocated the formation of a “planetary regime” that would use a “global police force” to enforce totalitarian measures of population control, including forced abortions, mass sterilization programs conducted via the food and water supply, as well as mandatory bodily implants that would prevent couples from having children.
Holdren is a Malthusian fanatic in the tradition of the arcane anti-human ideology that originated amongst British aristocracy in the 19th century… and both Obama and Romney have looked to him to form their policies.
Climate change isn’t the only scientific policy area that Romney and Obama share near identical views on. It is a well established fact that the Obama healthcare plan, declared unconstitutional by multiple federal courts, was modelled directly on Romneycare.
M.I.T. economist John Gruber, the architect of Romneycare in Massachusetts recently confirmed this, noting ”The White House wanted to lean a lot on what we’d done in Massachusetts.”
“They really wanted to know how we can take that same approach we used in Massachusetts and turn that into a national model.” Gruber added.
Investors.com also notes that a feature of ObamaCare “is its inclusion of contraceptives as a covered expense and its designation of pregnancy as a ‘preventable’ condition, as if it were a disease.” Once more John P. Holdren’s influence is evident.
The piece also notes that “Romney was pro-choice when he ran for governor but shifted his position as he entered the national stage.”
One candidate who has consistently made his stance on this matter clear is Dr Ron Paul, who stamped his pro-life credentials on to his latest ad campaign, airing in the early primary states ahead of tomorrow’s debate.
