These young Americans give me hope. We must not give the system what it wants which is division and violence. At the same time this crap must not stand. We must expose this. Take note of the lady "is this a white supremacist group? It looks like one"

VIDEO: Black Panther Threatens Conservative for Passing Out Constitutions
bmorrett
By Brittney Morrett, on Sep 23, 2011

Are students that promote the black panther ideology and the Office of Diversity in league together at the University of Minnesota - Duluth (UMD)?

It would would appear so in the video below. The events took place last week as one young man, Phil Cleary, handed out pocket Constitutions on campus in honor of Constitution Day. He had a table with literature promoting Youth for Western Civilization, a group dedicated to traditional values and western civilization, and engaged in students and faculty passing by.

Then, the leftists showed up to heckle.

The young man in the video, Blair Jordon Moses, threatened to "exercise" his 2nd amendment rights if  he perceived that there was any kind of threat to the Multicultural Center. He did not define what a threat would constitute but suggested that the existence of the group Youth for Western Civilization would count.

Blair was wearing a pin on his jacket picturing Huey P. Newton carying a gun. For those of you who don't know, Newton was a founder of the Black Panthers. The Black Panthers is a violent and ethnocentric organization that promotes racial divides and anti-American rhetoric.

What prompted this approach? Blair states that blacks in America are not free and that he does not believe in the Constitution.

At the same time, a faculty member approached the group. She took some of the literature and asked Phil, "Is this a white supremacist group?" Phil answered "Absolutely not." To which the woman replied, "It looks like one."

Who is this woman? Susana Pelayo - Woodward, Director of the Office of Cultural Diversity.

Instead of promoting cultural diversity, which is part of her job, she chose to show her bias against a group that would promote western culture and tradition. She had no problem with the leftist students heckling the conservative, but actually seems to agree that freedom, the Constitution, and western civilization is all tied into white supremacy.

Campus Reform reached out to Ms. Woodward for comment. Here is how the conversation went:

Campus Reform: "Would his group, Youth for Western Civilization, be welcomed in the Multicultural Center? "

Susana Woodward: "If his organization follows the process - the student orgs at the multicultural center they have to fit the mission of the organization and at this point we don't have any more space for student groups."

Campus Reform: "Theoretically his organization being a western cultural organization, would they be welcome in the Multicultural Center?"

Susana Woodward: "We are in a western country too so I don't see what would be the difference."

After multiple attempts to find out if the group would be wel.  come on campus, after fulfilling all of the requirements, she still did not answer the question.

Campus Reform encourages anyone who supports the Constitution and the right to assemble to contact Ms. Woodward at (218) 726-8444 or swoodwar@d.umn.edu. Tell her that any group that promotes western culture and traditional values should be welcome on campus just like LGBT groups, environmental groups, and ethnic based groups.

Black Panthers didn't promote racial divides and anti-american rhetoric.  the "new black panther party" might but they are a government made creation.  original black panthers including Bobby Seale worked worked with chicano groups, puerto rican groups, caucasian groups, and others to build coalitions.  that's what one aspect was dangerous about them from the establishment's view.  well that and huey newton being a law student so they knew what was allowed and what wasn't.

anyone who wants to know the truth just has to read COINTELPRO information related to the black panthers.

In light of the information provided above, how likely is it that the so-called "New Black Panther Party" is at least partially funded by either the Ford Foundation itself or one of its "satellites"? Or is that the sort of question the race-obsessed corporate media would rather we not ask in the first place, lest the divide-and-rule tactics of the global elite be exposed for what they are?

The New Black Panthers “Prepare For War” With The Tea Party

Bluegrass Pundit
Friday, May 28, 2010

It is unclear why the New Black Panthers are worried about the Tea Party. After all, they have Eric Holder on their side. He dismissed voter intimidation charges after the government had a default judgment conviction.

Issues Wire reported:

The New Black Panther Party has been embroiled in a battle between Republican Congressmen and the U.S. Department Of Justice battle over a ”voter intimidation” scandal for the last 18 months. During these 18 months right wing and Republican Newspaper and Electronic media have gone to exhaustive lengths to discredit and slander the New Black Panther Party and its Chairman and Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz.

Despite the controversy the New Black Panther Party continues to grow and expand. The National Black Power Conventions impressive lineup of guests and organizations is a testimony that the New Black Panthers Leadership has support in wide circles in the Black Community, particularly amongst grassroots organizers and entertainers.

“With the rise of the Tea Party, the white-right and other racist forces. With gun sales nationwide at an all time high amongst whites, with a mood that is more anti-Black than any time recent, it is imperative that we organize our forces, pool our resources and prepare for war!” Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, Esq. Convention Convener and Party Chairman.

Ultimate Hypocricy: "New" Black Panther Party Protest Against Bill of Rights

Protesters square off on street where neighbor shot two burglars
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/tx/5346880.html
Dec. 3, 2007, 3:58AM

HOUSTON — Protesters critical of a homeowner who fatally shot two suspected burglars were confronted by hundreds of the man's supporters during a rally on the street where the killings occurred. Yard signs declaring support for Joe Horn, 61, lined nearby streets Sunday in the Pasadena neighborhood where Miguel Antonio DeJesus, 38, and Diego Ortiz, 30, were killed Nov. 14. Horn's supporters parked motorcycles along the block Sunday and jeered protesters who called for Horn to be prosecuted. The supporters waved American flags and hoisted signs reading, "We love our neighbor for protecting our neighbors" and "Burglary is a risky business." Police officers in riot gear monitored the activities, but no arrests were made. Horn's attorney has said his client believed the two men had broken into his neighbor's home and that he shot them only when they came into his yard and threatened him. But that description is partly at odds with Horn's call to 911 in which Horn threatens to kill the men despite the dispatcher's urging that Horn stay inside his house.

"I support our rights as Americans to protect ourselves and support our Second Amendment rights," said Aaron Morrow, 43, one of dozens of bikers who revved their engines each time activist Quanell X attempted to speak. Quanell X has said that Horn, who is white, should be charged with murder for shooting DeJesus and Ortiz, who were black. After Sunday's counter-protest, he said he doesn't know if the shootings were racially motivated but said he "wouldn't be surprised." The families of the shooting victims were present Sunday. "Our position is that we do not condone their actions. We condemn their actions," Quanell X said. "But Horn acted as police officer, judge, jury and executioner all at the same time." Michelle Howell, who lives down the street from Horn, said she was in disbelief that the event had taken on racial overtones. "First of all, this is a quiet place, secondly we've got neighbors of all different races. This has nothing to do with race," she said. Maritza Munoz marched with the members of the New Black Panther Nation. "Yes, they broke into people's houses, but it wasn't his right to kill them. What he (Horn) did was criminal," she said. Horn has not been charged in the case. Pasadena police spokesman Vance Mitchell said the department will turn over its case to the Harris County District Attorney's Office in seven to 10 days. From there it is expected to be presented to a grand jury.

Huey Newton is rolling in his grave with disgust.  The Black Panther Party was founded on the principles of individual constitutional rights including (and at that time quite important) the individual right to defend against injustice.  Huey Newton knew the gun laws up and down and was fanatical about obeying the gun laws and being secure in his gun ownership and gun use (the point of many gun laws is for individuals to get so scarred that they stop using guns altogether).

There Is No New Black Panther Party:
An Open Letter From the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation

http://www.blackpanther.org/newsalert.htm

In response from numerous requests from individual's seeking information on the "New Black Panthers," the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation issues this public statement to correct the distorted record being made in the media by a small band of African Americans calling themselves the New Black Panthers. As guardian of the true history of the Black Panther Party, the Foundation, which includes former leading members of the Party, denounces this group's exploitation of the Party's name and history. Failing to find its own legitimacy in the black community, this band would graft the Party's name upon itself, which we condemn.

Firstly, the people in the New Black Panthers were never members of the Black Panther Party and have no legitimate claim on the Party's name. On the contrary, they would steal the names and pretend to walk in the footsteps of the Party's true heroes, such as Black Panther founder Huey P. Newton, George Jackson and Jonathan Jackson, Bunchy Carter, John Huggins, Fred Hampton, Mark Cark, and so many others who gave their very lives to the black liberation struggle under the Party's banner.

Secondly, they denigrate the Party's name by promoting concepts absolutely counter to the revolutionary principles on which the Party was founded. Their alleged media assault on the Ku Klux Klan serves to incite hatred rather than resolve it. The Party's fundamental principle, as best articulated by the great revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara, was: "A true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love." The Black Panthers were never a group of angry young militants full of fury toward the "white establishment." The Party operated on love for black people, not hatred of white people.

Furthermore, this group claims it would "teach" the black community about armed self-defense. The arrogance of this claim is overwhelmed by its reactionary nature. Blacks, especially in the South, have been armed in self-defense for a very long time; indeed, the spiritual parent of the Party itself was the Louisiana-based Deacons for Defense. However, the Party understood that the gun was not necessarily revolutionary, for the police and all other oppressive forces had guns. It was the ideology behind the gun that determined its nature.

Because the Party believed that only the masses of people would make the revolution, the Party never presumed itself to be above the people. The Party considered itself a servant of the people and taught by example. Given massive black hunger, the Party provided free breakfast for children and other free food programs. In the absence of decent medical facilities in the black community, the Party operated free medical clinics. In the face of police brutality, the Party stood up and resisted. Considering the overwhelming number of blacks facing trials and long prison terms, the Party developed free legal aids and bussing-to-prison programs.

The question the Foundation raises, then, is who are these people laying claim to the Party's history and name? Are they reactionary provocateurs, who would instigate activities counterproductive to the people's interests, causing mayhem and death? Are they entertainers, who would posture themselves before the media, and, according to numerous sources, with empty guns, to spin gold for themselves? Are they, given the history of their late-leader Khalid Muhammad, a group of anti-Semites like the very Ku Klux Klan they allegedly oppose? What is their agenda?

Conditions for blacks in America today are worse than when the Black Panther Party was formed in 1966. Blacks in the main continue to live in poverty; disproportionate percentages of blacks die from AIDS and cancer, as the black infant mortality rate continues to be double that of whites. There is a desperate need for liberation agenda. The Black Panther Party unarguably set the example, espousing principles and a history that certainly should be embraced by all those still struggling for freedom. Rather than appropriating the Party's name, however, groups that purport to represent African Americans ought to follow the Party's true historical example. In the absence of such commitment, the Foundation denounces the usurpation of the Black Panther Party name by this questionable band of self-appointed leaders.

Item 7 of The Black Panther Party Platform (1972)
http://www.stanford.edu/group/blackpanthers/history.shtml
We want an immediate end to police brutality and murder of Black people, other people of color, all oppressed people inside the United States. We believe that the racist and fascist government of the United States uses its domestic enforcement agencies to carry out its program of oppression against Black people, other people of color and poor people inside the United States. We believe it is our right, therefore, to defend ourselves against such armed forces, and that all Black and oppressed people should be armed for self-defense of our homes and communities against these fascist police forces.

Huey Newton and the Black Panthers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huey_P._Newton

Newton and Seale decided early on that the police abuse of power in Oakland against African-Americans 'must be stopped.' From his law studies at college, Newton was well-versed in the California penal code and state law regarding weapons, and was thus able to persuade a number of African-Americans to exercise their legal right to openly bear arms (as concealed firearms were illegal). Black Panthers bearing rifles and shotguns began patrolling areas where the Oakland police were said to commit racially-motivated crimes against the community's black citizens. The street patrols had broad support in the local African-American community. Newton and Seale were also responsible for writing the Black Panther Party Platform and Program, derived largely from Newton’s Maoist influences. Newton was instrumental in the creation of a breakfast program feeding hundreds of children of the local communities before they went to school each day. Former Panther Earl Anthony (black panther) said the party was originally created to prepare America for an armed Maoist revolution in order to change the social structure for the benefit of black people. For Black Panthers, this meant the realignment of domestic economic policies to benefit citizens (including those of other races), who were being crushed under the weight of corporate America.

Just as the "Weather Underground" coopted the peaceful resistance movement created by the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) in the 1960's, by injecting violence into that movement (and consequently destroying it), they attempted to ally themselves with the ORIGINAL Black Panther movement. But the Black Panthers could see the BS that was the Weather Underground, and called them on their bs:

Black Panthers on the Weather Underground

That was Fred Hampton, leader of the Black Panthers, who was murdered by Chicago police in 1960.
They were not able to coopt the Black Panther party; so they murdered Fred Hampton to destroy it.
The "New Black Panthers" are the replacement for the non-violent original party.
(Exactly what happened to the SDS non-violent movement: destroyed and replaced with the Weather Underground).

Quote

We see the same MO repeating itself: groups that gain influence as non-violent constitutional resistors to the tyranny of the state are coopted; destroyed and replaced with violent 'new' groups. This effectively shuts down peaceful resistance, and the willingness of people who would come together in non-violent protest evaporates - as they fear becoming associated with violent actions.

This is how to shut people up, and keep them separated. This is an operation.

100% Correct.

Remember Martin Luther King's words:

“You know, whenever Pharaoh wanted to prolong the period of slavery
in Egypt, he had a favorite, favorite formula for doing it. What was that?
He kept the slaves fighting amongst themselves.

But whenever the slaves get together, that's the beginning of
getting out of slavery.

—Martin Luther King, Jr.

The original Black Panther party was a group that got together to end the oppression of Black people, non-violently and constitutionally. The SDS was a group of people that got together to end the war in Viet Nam, peacefully and constitutionally. Any time a group of people get together, any time "the slaves get together", they represent a tremendous threat to the powers-that-be. This threat must be taken down in order to preserve the status quo.

So they murdered Martin Luther King, for having the audacity to point the way from slavery to freedom:
They murdered Fred Hampton for daring to try,
They destroyed the largest non-violent peace protest movement in US history, the SDS...

And what about the Weather Underground?
They did not get murdered... they got jobs.
If any of them served jail time, it was the lower-level members; not the leaders: not Bill Ayers or Bernardine Dohrn; they got off, in spite of bombing the Pentagon.. got jobs and later gave fundraisers for Obama.

Barack Obama, Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and Rashid Khalidi
And  the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren,  ye have done it unto me.
