Webster Tarpley: Al-Qaeda pirates to grip Mediterranean if rebels take over

RT-Video Interview
http://youtu.be/tGoCxAIagFQ

From: RussiaToday  | Aug 26, 2011

The UN has called for restraint in Libya amid reports of abuses and alleged summary killings by both rebels and Gaddafi loyalists. The Security Council has also agreed to release 1.5 billion-dollars in Libyan assets to help deal with humanitarian needs. The opposition continues to claim that Tripoli is largely under its control, while the National Transitional Council says it's moved from its stronghold of Benghazi to the capital. There are reports of heavy resistance by Gaddafi forces, with the Colonel's whereabouts still unknown. Meanwhile, Gaddafi has aired another radio message, claiming he's fighting on the frontline. NATO has denied previous reports that it's assisting the rebels in the hunt to find him. Now more analysis on the latest developments in Libya from author and investigative journalist Webster Tarpley, who's in Washington.

Stephen Lendman

The US/UK/French-led war on Libya will be remembered as one of history's greatest crimes. It violates the letter and spirit of international law and America's Constitution.

The Nuremberg Tribunal's Chief Justice Robert Jackson (a US Supreme Court Justice) called Nazi war crimes "the supreme international crime against peace."

His November 21, 1945 opening remarks said:

"The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored, because it cannot survive their being repeated."

He called aggressive war "the greatest menace of our times."

International law defines crimes against peace as "planning, preparation, initiation, or waging of wars of aggression, or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances, or participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the foregoing."

All US post-WW II wars fall under this definition.

Since then, America waged direct and proxy premeditated, aggressive wars worldwide, killing millions in East and Central Asia, North and other parts of Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, as well as Central and South America.

Arguably they exceed the worst of Nazi and imperial Japanese crimes combined, including genocide, torture mass destruction of nonmilitary related sites, colonization, occupation, plunder and exploitation.

Third Reich criminals were hanged for their crimes. America's remained free to commit greater ones, notably today against Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, and the ongoing Libya atrocity - a scandalous "supreme international crime against peace," demanding justice not forthcoming.

In fact, US war criminals are considered hostis humani generis - enemies of mankind. War crimes are against the jus gentium - the law of nations. Established international law addressed them, including the UN Charter. It's unequivocal explaining under what conditions violence and coercion (by one state against another) are justified.

Article 2(3) and Article 33(1) require peaceful settlement of international disputes. Article 2(4) prohibits force or its threatened use. And Article 51 allows the "right of individual or collective self-defense if an armed attack occurs against a Member....until the Security Council has taken measures to maintain international peace and security."

In other words, justifiable self-defense is permissible. However, Charter Articles 2(3), 2(4), and 33 absolutely prohibit any unilateral threat or use of force not:

-- specifically allowed under Article 51;

-- authorized by the Security Council; or

-- permitted by the US Constitution only amendments ratified by three-fourths of the states can change.

In addition, three General Assembly resolutions also prohibit non-consensual belligerent intervention, including:

-- the 1965 Declaration on the Inadmissibility of Intervention in the Domestic Affairs of States and the Protection of Their Independence and Sovereignty;

-- the 1970 Declaration on Principles of International Law Concerning Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States in Accordance with the Charter of the United Nations; and

-- the 1974 Definition of Aggression.

Moreover, various post-WW II Conventions, including the four Geneva ones and their Common Article 1 obligate all High Contracting Parties to "respect and ensure respect for the present Convention in all circumstances;" namely, to apply its principles universally, requiring High Contracting Parties "search for persons alleged to have committed, or to have ordered to be committed, such grave breaches, and shall bring such persons, regardless of their nationality, before its own courts."

At Nuremberg, the concepts of individual and command criminal responsibility were addressed, the Tribunal Principles holding that "(a)ny person who commits an act which constitutes a crime under international law is responsible therefor and liable to punishment....(c)rimes against international law are committed by men, not by abstract entities, and only by punishing individuals who commit (them) can the provisions of international law be enforced."

The Rome Statute's Article 25 of the International Criminal Court (ICC) codified this principle, affirming the culpability of persons committing crimes of war and against humanity.

In addition, commanders and their superiors are specifically culpable if they "either knew or, owing to the circumstances at the time, should have known that the forces were committing or about to commit such crimes, (and) failed to take all necessary and reasonable measures within his or her power to prevent or repress their commission or to submit the matter to the competent authorities for investigation and prosecutions."

Moreover, Nuremberg established that immunity is null and void, including for heads of state, other top officials, and top commanders. Further, genocide, crimes of war and against humanity are so grave that statute of limitation provisions don't apply.

As a result, every living past and present US president, top and subordinate officials, and Pentagon commanders involved in war(s) should be prosecuted for their crimes before a special Nuremberg-type tribunal, holding them fully accountable.

Genocide, other forms of mass murder, targeted and indiscriminate destruction, and other crimes of war and against humanity are too intolerable to go unpunished.

Nonetheless, America and its conspiratorial allies commit them - today, horrifically against Libya, a small nonbelligerent country being terrorized, destroyed, and plundered lawlessly in the name of "liberation."

America is the lead offender, committing what its 1996 War Crimes Act calls "grave breaches," defined as "willful killing, torture or inhuman treatment, including biological (or other illegal) experiments, willfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health."

As a result, Libya is an ongoing atrocity, a Nuremberg level crime, one of history's greatest.

Yet on August 22, Obama had the audacity to say America, its "allies and partners in the international community (are committed) to protect the people of Libya, and to support a peaceful transition to democracy."

In fact, unspeakable war crimes are being committed to "protect the people of Libya." Included are civilians being terror bombed daily, to break their morale, cause panic, weaken their will to resist, and inflict mass casualties and punishment.

However, Geneva and other international laws forbid the targeting of civilians. The Laws of War: Laws and Customs of War on Land (1907 Hague IV Convention) states:

-- Article 25: "The attack or bombardment, by whatever means, of towns, villages, dwellings, or buildings which are undefended is prohibited."

-- Article 26: "The officer in command of an attacking force must, before commencing a bombardment, except in cases of assault, do all in his power to warn the authorities."

Article 27: "In sieges and bombardments, all necessary steps must be taken to spare, as far as possible, buildings dedicated to religion, art, science, or charitable purposes, historic monuments, hospitals, and places where the sick and wounded are collected, provided they are not being used at the time for military purposes."

The besieged should visibly indicate these buildings or places and notify an adversary beforehand. Given today's intelligence and high-tech capabilities, belligerents can easily identify civilian and military targets.

Fourth Geneva Convention protects civilians in time of war. It prohibits violence of any type against them and requires treatment for the sick and wounded.

In September 1938, a League of Nations unanimous resolution prohibited the:

"bombardment of cities, towns, villages, dwellings or buildings not in the immediate neighborhood of the operations of land forces....In cases where (legitimate targets) are so situated, (aircraft) must abstain from bombardment" if this action indiscriminately affects civilians.

Long ago Washington trashed international and constitutional laws, planning for Libya what's ongoing in Iraq and Afghanistan - conquest, colonization, occupation, plunder and exploitation, excluding any form of democracy it reviles, including at home.

Major Media Scoundrels Lead Role in America's Wars

When America goes to war, its media are key, reporting disinformation, propaganda, managed news, and straight Pentagon handouts instead of real information, commentaries and analysis people deserve.

In the lead, The New York Times operates as the equivalent of an official information and propaganda ministry, posing as independent journalism.

August 24 was no exception, writers David Kirkpatrick and Alan Cowell headlining, "Qaddafi Defiant After Rebel Takeover," saying:

"Rebel fighters scoured Tripoli on Wednesday in their continued search for an elusive and defiant" (Gaddafi) after NATO landed them on Tripoli's shores with orders to terrorize and loot. They've taken full advantage, what Kirkpatrick and Cowell didn't explain.

Instead they gloated about a "rebel victory" very much not won, especially because nothing from Times or other major media reports is credible. Repeatedly they've been caught lying.

Other same day Times reports headlined:

"Libyans Rejoice in a Castle Filled With Guns and the Trappings of Power," referring to Gaddafi's Bab al-Aziziya compound they reportedly stormed with no verification of precisely what's going on.

"Waves of Disinformation and Confusion Swamp the Truth in Libya," referring mainly to what it calls "a republic of lies," not its own shameless daily propaganda, making everything it reports suspect, unreliable, or falsified.

"Airstrikes More Difficult as War Moves to Tripoli," ignoring NATO's ongoing terror bombing, including Apache helicopter gunships machine-gunning civilians on Tripoli streets, making it unsafe to be out when they're flying.

"After the Revolution, Hurdles in Reviving the Oil Sector," leaving unexplained Western plans for Libya's oil, excluding rivals China and Russia, as well as falsely calling Washington's insurgency a "revolution."

It's standard New York Times policy to represent wealth and power interests, betraying readers in the process who deserve better.

Fabricating Celebratory Tripoli Street Euphoria

On August 23, Metro Gael's Global Research.ca's article headlined, "The Libya Media Hoax: Fabricating Scenes of Jubilation and Euphoria on Green Square," providing another example of media lies, saying:

It "will surely go down in history as one of the most cynical hoaxes committed by corporate media since the manipulated pictures of Iraqis toppling Saddam Hussein's statue" after America's 2003 invasion.

Shamefully, Al Jazeera committed the latest fraud, airing fake live Green Square celebrations, its reporter, Zeina Khodr declaring, "Libya is in the hands of the opposition."

She lied and knew it. In fact, Al Jazeera's footage was "an elaborate and criminal hoax. The report had been prefabricated in a" Doha, Qatar studio.

Qatar is a NATO coalition member, its troops on the ground aiding insurgents along with US and UK special forces.

Libyan intelligence knew about the fake footage in advance, warning about it ahead of its release on "Rayysse state television."

The idea is old and familiar - to create an illusion of non-existant mass support for NATO and insurgents Libyans revile. It's done to diffuse popular resistance against them.

The full article can be read through the following link:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=26155

It explains a classic PsyOps deception, this time aired by an alleged trusted source, showing it's as corrupted as the rest, lying instead of reporting accurately.

Blowing Up Babies in Libya is Great News For Raytheon

THE RAYTHEON CONSPIRACY TO BLOW UP BABIES ALL OVER THE WORLD:
William Lynn III is a Top Raytheon Lobbyist

Obama Nominee For Control Over Weapons is Raytheon Lobbyist
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/washingtonpostinvestigations/2009/01/president_barack_obamas_strict.html
POSTED: 01:03 PM ET, 01/23/2009 by Derek Kravitz

President Barack Obama's strict new lobbying rules for cabinet members have put his administration in a difficult spot when it comes to one of its top nominees. William J. Lynn III, a former Pentagon official under President Bill Clinton and Obama's choice for deputy secretary of the Defense Department, spent the better part of the past two years lobbying for defense contractor Raytheon, federal records show. Obama's ethics rules state that ex-lobbyists in his administration cannot work on issues they lobbied on for two years:

"2. Revolving Door Ban All Appointees Entering Government. I will not for a period of 2 years from the date of my appointment participate in any particular matter involving specific parties that is directly and substantially related to my former employer or former clients, including regulations and contracts.

"3. Revolving Door Ban Lobbyists Entering Government. If I was a registered lobbyist within the 2 years before the date of my appointment, in addition to abiding by the limitations of paragraph 2, I will not for a period of 2 years after the date of my appointment:

(a) participate in any particular matter on which I lobbied within the 2 years before the date of my appointment;
(b) participate in the specific issue area in which that particular matter falls; or
(c) seek or accept employment with any executive agency that I lobbied within the 2 years before the date of my appointment.

That rule complicates matters for Lynn. It also affects William V. Coor, the nominee for deputy secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services, who has lobbied for the nonprofit Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. But Coor has pledged not to work on any tobacco issues in his new job. Lynn, however, lobbied the Pentagon on so many Raytheon projects -- acquisitions policy, space, intelligence and command and control, among others -- that it might be hard to find an area within the department that was untouched by his previous work.

COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS
The age of nations is over.
The United States is Dead.
The new age has begun.

BY PARAG KHANNA | SEPT. / OCT. 2010

http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2010/08/16/beyond_city_limits

The 21st century will not be dominated by America or China, Brazil or India, but by the city. In an age that appears increasingly unmanageable, cities rather than states are becoming the islands of governance on which the future world order will be built. This new world is not -- and will not be -- one global village, so much as a network of different ones.

Time, technology, and population growth have massively accelerated the advent of this new urbanized era. Already, more than half the world lives in cities, and the percentage is growing rapidly. But just 100 cities account for 30 percent of the world's economy, and almost all its innovation. Many are world capitals that have evolved and adapted through centuries of dominance: London, New York, Paris. New York City's economy alone is larger than 46 of sub-Saharan Africa's economies combined. Hong Kong receives more tourists annually than all of India. These cities are the engines of globalization, and their enduring vibrancy lies in money, knowledge, and stability. They are today's true Global Cities.

Columbia University scholar Saskia Sassen has done the most to contribute to our thinking about how urban advantage translates into grand strategy. As she writes in The Global City, such places are uniquely suited to translate their productive power into "the practice of global control." Her academic work has traced how Europe's largely autonomous Renaissance cities such as Bruges and Antwerp innovated the legal frameworks that enabled the first transnational stock exchanges, setting the stage for international credit and the forerunners of today's trading networks. Then as now, nations and empires did not restrain cities; they were merely filters for cities' global ambitions. The supply chains and capital flows linking global cities today have similarly denationalized international relations. As Sassen argues, in cities we can't make trite divisions between the government and private sector; either they work together or the city doesn't work at all. Even massive national investments in telecommunications or other infrastructure don't equalize the balance of power between cities and the rest; they ultimately reinforce the power of cities to conduct their own "sovereign" diplomacy.
Just like clockwork...32% of US Tax funded weapons systems can now be sold to enemies of the sovereignty of the United States of America thanks to Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski
(don't anyone dare blame the bullshit failed Soetoro puppet for this one - he does not have the power to do this and everybody knows it)

Council on Foreign Relations moves to remake US weapons controls
http://rawstory.com/news/afp/Obama_moves_to_remake_US_weapons_co_08302010.html
Published: Monday August 30, 2010
President Barack Obama will on Tuesday move to reform US export rules, hoping to boost trade while hampering the sale of sensitive technology. Capping a year-long review of weapons controls, Obama will tell a Washington non-proliferation conference that previous rules were fractured, making it difficult for some legitimate firms to do business. "These reforms will focus our resources on the threats that matter most," Obama said in recorded video remarks. "They'll help us not just increase exports and create jobs, but strengthen our national security as well." The reforms will include more specific definitions of goods that need export licenses and restructuring how requests are dealt with. The move is expected to result in around 32 percent of items on the munitions list being "decontrolled."
Pentagon may apply preemptive warfare policy to the Internet
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/0829/pentagon-weighs-applying-preemptive-warfare-tactics-internet/
By Stephen C. Webster
Sunday, August 29th, 2010 -- 11:39 pm

Grappling with matters of law and policy governing the United States military's cyber-warfare capabilities, Pentagon planners are eying ways of making preemptive strikes across the Internet part of America's toolbox. In a piece for Foreign Affairs, the publication of globalist policy group The Council on Foreign Relations, Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn III paints a picture of dire threat to American infrastructure, disclosing for the first time details of a devastating cyber-attack on U.S. infrastructure. While not giving many specifics, Lynn described how malicious code on a USB thumb drive managed to spread across the Department of Defense network, establishing a "digital beachhead" that could siphon key data. "It was a network administrator's worst fear: a rogue program operating silently, poised to deliver operational plans into the hands of an unknown adversary," he wrote. "This previously classified incident was the most significant breach of U.S. military computers ever, and it served as an important wake-up call. The Pentagon's operation to counter the attack, known as Operation Buckshot Yankee, marked a turning point in U.S. cyberdefense strategy." However, "Operation Buchshot Yankee," commenced in 2008 and lasting some 14 months, saw the Department of Defense scramble over what was essentially a very minor security threat that caught their network experts completely by surprise.
CFR has issued the directive. THIS IS A ROCKEFELLER INITIATIVE!!!!!!!!!!! Coming out next month: OCTOBER SURPRISE:

Defending a New Domain
The Pentagon's Cyberstrategy
By William J. Lynn III

http://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/66552/william-j-lynn-iii/defending-a-new-domain

Summary:  Right now, more than 100 foreign intelligence organizations are trying to hack into the digital networks that undergird U.S. military operations. The Pentagon recognizes the catastrophic threat posed by cyberwarfare, and is partnering with allied governments and private companies to prepare itself.

In 2008, the U.S. Department of Defense suffered a significant compromise of its classified military computer networks. It began when an infected flash drive was inserted into a U.S. military laptop at a base in the Middle East. The flash drive's malicious computer code, placed there by a foreign intelligence agency, uploaded itself onto a network run by the U.S. Central Command. That code spread undetected on both classified and unclassified systems, establishing what amounted to a digital beachhead, from which data could be transferred to servers under foreign control. It was a network administrator's worst fear: a rogue program operating silently, poised to deliver operational plans into the hands of an unknown adversary.

This previously classified incident was the most significant breach of U.S. military computers ever, and it served as an important wake-up call. The Pentagon's operation to counter the attack, known as Operation Buckshot Yankee, marked a turning point in U.S. cyberdefense strategy.  Over the past ten years, the frequency and sophistication of intrusions into U.S. military networks have increased exponentially. Every day, U.S. military and civilian networks are probed thousands of times and scanned millions of times. And the 2008 intrusion that led to Operation Buckshot Yankee was not the only successful penetration. Adversaries have acquired thousands of files from U.S. networks and from the networks of U.S. allies and industry partners, including weapons blueprints, operational plans, and surveillance data.

As the scale of cyberwarfare's threat to U.S. national security and the U.S. economy has come into view, the Pentagon has built layered and robust defenses around military networks and inaugurated the new U.S. Cyber Command to integrate cyberdefense operations across the military. The Pentagon is now working with the Department of Homeland Security to protect government networks and critical infrastructure and with the United States' closest allies to expand these defenses internationally. An enormous amount of foundational work remains, but the U.S. government has begun putting in place various initiatives to defend the United States in the digital age.

Libyan Loyalist Forces Entrap Western-backed Rebels in Ragdaline

Mon Aug 29, 2011 5:55PM GMT
presstv.ir

Forces loyal to Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi have reportedly entrapped opposition fighters in Libya's western town of Ragdaline near the Tunisian border.

Latest reports say at least one person was killed and four others wounded in Ragdaline on Monday, AFP reported.

The battle started when fighters entered Ragdaline thinking there would be no resistance. They were, however, showered with mortars and rockets fired by Gaddafi loyalists.

"They set us up. The people of Ragdaline told us that we could come in peace, and suddenly we were under fire," an opposition fighter said.

Moreover, pro-Gaddafi snipers were positioned in houses across the town, targeting anyone who would pass through the center of the town.

Some of the fighters decided to retreat to a checkpoint while others chose to stay and fight and wait for reinforcements.

The development comes as fighters prepare to launch an assault on Gaddafi's hometown of Sirte in a final showdown to seal their months-old reign of terror.

Lies, Damn Lies And NATO Claiming Control Across Libya
By Stephen Lendman
10-17-11

At an October 11 press briefing, NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu claimed Operation Unified Protector (NATO's aggression on Libya) "has been a great success. We're pretty close to the end, but we're not there yet."

"We did the right thing. We saved countless lives. We did it the right way, fast, with flexibility, involving Partners from the start, and we did it for the right reasons; to fully implement the mandate of the United Nations Security Council."

"Now we will make sure the end of the operation will come when the time is right. We will not leave the job half done."

"Our mission, as you know, is to prevent attacks and threats against civilians, so we will terminate the mission once we assess that there is no longer a systematic and significant threat...."

NATO military spokesperson Col. Roland Lavoie followed Lungescu with similar comments, claiming "we have witnessed a significant evolution of the situation in Libya."

He added that "NATO is exercising air power only when necessary and always with caution, discernment and precision."

Fact check

On October 13, UN Support Mission to Libya head Ian Martin briefed Security Council members by video-link. His assessment differed greatly from NATO, saying:

"The situation (in Libya) is far from stable. There are many security concerns. The fighting is still on. Violations of human rights and international humanitarian law have been registered."

Russia's UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin called the briefing "open and sobering," adding:

"The Libyan authorities clearly need support, an effective UN mission, and this is where the Security Council will concentrate its efforts in the next few months."

Loyalists, in fact, are Libya's only authority, not NATO or TNC puppet officials. UN action to halt terror bombing and rebel cutthroats is crucial.

Libyan sovereignty must be recognized and supported, free from NATO and UN Blue Helmet paramilitary occupation.

Libyans won't tolerate less nor should they. Their struggle deserves global support, including by world body leaders. NATO must be condemned as a rogue aggressor. Responsible member states must be held accountable.

On October 9, Russia Today (RT.com) said:

"....NATO exposed its hypocrisy toward protecting civilian lives, letting (TNC fighters) shell loyalist cities and assault them despite great losses among the civilian population."

"We know what this war was about. It was about regime change....NATO does not care about civilians."

WikiLeaks Julian Assange told RT:

"The lesson for Libya is that there are only two superpowers....the US and the EU." They attacked Libya lawlessly. "It shows that there is no effective rule of law as far as the UN is concerned."

RT said "NATO stands accused of turning a blind eye to huge civilian casualties in Libya." Libyans know Western forces didn't come as liberators. They came as imperial predators.

NATO's Imperial Aggression

Since March 19, NATO waged lawless aggression against a nonbelligerent country, mischaracterized as humanitarian intervention responsibility to protect.

It violated UN Charter's Chapter VI calling for peaceful conflict dispute resolutions. Humanitarian intervention authority never permits military force or other hostile acts.

It ignored Chapter VII authorization to impose boycotts, embargoes, blockades, and severed diplomatic ties when justified - never war, except in self-defense and only until the Security Council acts.

No justification whatever existed. A humanitarian crisis didn't exist until NATO arrived. For seven months, it terror bombed Libya relentlessly. Targets included schools, hospitals, mosques, civilian neighborhoods, and others unrelated to military necessity.

Tens of thousands of Libyans have been massacred in cold blood, including women, children, the elderly and infirm. Areas across the country were ravaged. Food, water, medical supplies, electricity, and fuel were cut off.

NATO is a rogue killing machine. It's mission isn't liberation. It's slaughtering, ravaging and pillaging for power and profit.

Wherever it intervenes, human misery follows. Death, disease, starvation, depravation and desperation haunt the living. Libya is one of history's great crimes.

Against overwhelming odds, loyalists tied down the world's mightiest military force for seven months, determined to resist, live free, and rebuild.

NATO and major media scoundrels claim victory is close at hand. NSNBC's daily updates tell a much different story.

On October 15, it said early on October 14, TNC fighters controlled parts of Sirte, as well as small areas of Sabah, Bani Walid, Benghazi and Tripoli. "This picture would change dramatically over the next 24 hours."

Overnight, Zuwara residents attacked TNC rebels, burned their local office, "and forced the occupiers to flee....taking heavy casualties."

Elsewhere across Libya, early morning hours were marked by demonstrations. Loyalists won't tolerate NATO terror, "oppression, massacres and atrocities for one moment longer. Libya was at the brink of exploding from anger and frustration."

In Tripoli, demonstration began at 8:00AM. They grew in size when Wirsh Fana Tribal members joined it. Chants said, "This is it. Today we take our city and our country back."

TNC fighters fled in haste from Bani Walid, Sirte, and Sabah, taking heavy casualties. "The retreat in Tripoli was a drive through a shooting gallery as people all over Libya rose to the occasion."

By early afternoon, mass demonstrations waved green flags across Libya. TNC Tripoli forces attacked them. NATO helicopter gunships strafed nonviolent civilians.

The scene proved "what brand of 'Democracy' (NATO) advocates," showing no regard whatever for human life.

At 6:00PM, reports suggested heavy fighting in parts of Tripoli. Abu Salim and other areas were "firmly" under loyalist control. At 6:30PM, "a NATO Apache helicopter was shot down."

Losing control of Tripoli, NATO sent reinforcements from Zawiya. En route, they were "ambushed. The entire convoy was destroyed, and there were numerous casualties and prisoners."

By late evening, most of Tripoli was liberated, 80% of Benghazi, and other large areas across Libya. TNC's Benghazi headquaters was "stormed. Over 90% of TNC members had resigned." Those in Tripoli fled.

NATO planes began bombing Abu Salim. A caller said "they are carpet bombing our district." More Wirsh Fana Tribal members arrived, "entirely changing the military situation."

"Attacks on heavily fortified TNC and NATO positions began, while special operations units from the Libyan forces began deploying to capture key Libyan and foreign political and military figures."

Gheriyan is again free. Residents there like elsewhere say they'll "never accept a TNC that is forced on them by NATO."

On October 15 overnight, loyalists attacked the Rixos Hotel, Military Camp 77 and Green Square. Bodies there provided evidence of a NATO/TNC massacre. Unconfirmed reports said Washington's ambassador is missing.

Zlitan and Gheriay-based tribes said they'll send reinforcements to Tripoli and Sirte. Early Saturday morning, "a NATO Chinook helicopter was shot down near Zlitan."

Heavy fighting continued overnight through early morning. TNC fighters took heavy casualties. Courageous loyalists persist against their best military might, including daily terror bombing.

Showing no regard for human life and welfare, their imperial mission focuses solely on conquest, colonization, resource control, exploitation, and unchallenged dominance. Libyans want none of it and won't quit, no matter the odds.

Reports circulated about Kmamis Gaddafi's death, including on Syria's Arrai TV. He commands Libya's 32nd Elite Brigade. However, Algeria ISP called his death fabricated NATO propaganda. So far, no confirmation either way is available.

NATO and major media scoundrels have gone all out to control the message. Nothing they say is credible. On October 16, Algeria ISP said NATO and TNC officials implemented a disinformation campaign to help locate loyalist government and military officials.

Whether they're captured or free, dead or alive, diverts attention from what matters most - the committed will of millions of Libyans to resist. Fighting for their lives, liberation and futures drives them daily.

New leaders stand ready to replace fallen ones. It's working, as loyalists so far bested NATO's killing machine for seven months. They'll fight seven more or as long as it takes to live free.

Military conditions are "volatile, but in spite of NATO's" air power, rebel mercenaries, and Special Forces directing them, loyalists keep making "slow but steady progress."

New reports NSNBC got say most Tripoli residential districts "are controlled by Libyan forces and popular resistance. The green flag was hoisted over the Rixos Hotel and Military Camp 77."

Heavy clashes continue across greater Tripoli and Tarhuna. Loyalists control most of Bani Walid. Zawiyah is free.

Stepped up loyalist resistance Friday in Tripoli forced NATO to shift Sirte forces there. Nonetheless, Sirte has been relentlessly terror bombed and shelled by "light, medium range and heavy artillery."

Supportive major media scoundrels suppress the truth when they report anything about NATO lawlessness they call humanitarian intervention.

More updates will discuss what they distort, censor and suppress.
