You totally missed the point! 
A filter on a crack pipe because your worried about AIDS is like a screen door on a submarine! The crack alone is killing people, regardless of whether they are protecting themselves from some disease or not.
Not having been a crack user myself,
whether a pipe has a filter or not
has little meaning for me.
Having spent 10 years treating needle drug abusers ,
and training psychology students and colleagues,
in the education and treatment of drug abuse and addiction,
I know that sharing needles is a very good way to
transmit hepatitis C,
as well as other diseases,
anything that can be transmitted by blood.
Having read the above articles,
it seems to me that this is actually an experiment of sorts
to see what tactic , if any, the drug abuser will prefer,
or even bother to use
in order to limit the spread of secondary diseases.
I say secondary diseases,
because I,
like most professionals in this field,
view abuse and addiction as a primary disease.
In my experience,
by the time most folks are shooting drugs,
their denial about the effects of their behaviour is so strong,
that they have little worries about catching HIV,
pregnancy,
Hep of any kind
or any venereal disease.
The last time we tried to discuss an issue about addiction,
you sent me a very nasty personal message.
At that time I chose to ignore you.
You implied that I was exaggerating my credentials
in the field of psychology,
in my roles of adjunct and associate professors in the USA,
and in travelling through Eastern Europe
at their request
in order to train staff
working with severely emotionally and learning disabled children.
You also accused me of using my credentials to beat you over the head.
Well,
it seems as if it has done some good,
as your eyes in your avatar above
keep rolling around.
Some people know more than you do about some things.
Get over it.
In the meantime,
this will be our last conversation.
I have no desire to waste my time with
such an insulting person as yourself.
If you want to take this further with admin or a global moderator,

as evidence of your accusations.
However,
