my personal take is that this was a policing/social experiment and power grab for when TSHTF. What we saw was NOTHING compared to what will happen in a total economic/social collapse.
london only had contingency plans for 2 riots in different places in the capital before this and nothing comes nowhere near to it in the lifetime of social media in the U.K
they found out exactly how many police were needed to control different varying situations in many different areas and how many police were needed before they had total control, along with the rioters varying degrees of actions/violence as the numbers / tactics changed.just look at how the police numbers rose and tactics changed over days 1,2,3 & 4 , this could have been sorted in tottenham on day 1 with the right numbers and tactics, which they had.
how social media is played out in a mass riot/civil unrest situation both for arranging riots and control/reaction of the public. by facebook alone they have every piece of information they can ever need.A snapshot into everyones mind all captured in their database forever as something like this evolves with reactions to it, minute by minute , hour by hour , day by day.
How long before vigilante gangs appear? at what point does the public call for the army to be deployed? the list is endless .
They played their experiment out on the young black underclass for reaction from white middle class ,the very people who will demand new laws to protect them , never realising that these laws will be used to control them themselves.
sure they had lots of data and experience before but not on this scale.they know what is coming and needed a , dare i say "small scale" simulation and information gathering for the total collapse of society in a SHTF situation.

Facial recognition in use after riots Facial recognition technology being considered for London's 2012 Games is getting a workout in the wake of Britain's riots, with officers feeding photographs of suspects through Scotland Yard's newly updated face-matching program. A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that facial recognition is one of many tools police are using to hunt suspects still at large. Other techniques include posting headshots to photo-sharing site Flickr and old-fashioned public appeals. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak about an ongoing investigation. A spokesman for Scotland Yard confirmed Thursday that facial recognition technology was at his force's disposal. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_BRITAIN_HUNTING_FOR_RIOTERS?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT

Seen this coming from a gazillion miles away. Anyone here still think these riots were not staged? UK Prime Minister Proposes Social Media Ban for London RiotersU.K. Prime Minister David Cameron said Thursday that Scotland Yard and intelligence agencies are considering a ban on social media for those known to be plotting violence. "We are working with the Police, the intelligence services and industry to look at whether it would be right to stop people communicating via these websites and services when we know they are plotting violence, disorder and criminality," Cameron said in a speech before the House of Commons. He did not go into detail about how that might work or how potential offenders would be identified. "Free flow of information can be used for good. But it can also be used for ill," Cameron said. "And when people are using social media for violence we need to stop them." In the wake of riots that have consumed London and other English cities, there were reports that some of the rioters had organized their efforts via BlackBerry Messenger (BBM). The platform is popular among British teens and allowed them to communicate in a free and untraceable manner. BlackBerry maker Research in Motion later said it would cooperate with officials should they need lawful access to data related to the riots, prompting hackers to deface the official BlackBerry blog. Twitter, however, has also been a popular means of communication, with many people providing updates about the situation in their neighborhoods, organizing clean-up efforts, and more. According to data published by Experian Hitwise, one in every 170 U.K. Internet visits on Monday was to Twitter, with the Twitter homepage receiving 3.4 million visits in the U.K. alone. British Government Considers Blocking Twitter, Facebook To Prevent RiotsAppalled by the rioting that swept across Britain earlier this week, the government want to find out if censoring social media sites could help prevent them from happening again. Good luck on that one. Prime Minister David Cameron didn’t go into details of what that might mean in practice, only to say in a recalled Parliament this afternoon that the government was looking into “whether it was right” to stop people using social media to “plot” further disorder. “Everyone watching these horrific actions will be stuck by how they were organised via social media,” he said. “Free flow of information can be used for good. But it can also be used for ill.” He added the ruling conservative government was “working with the police, the intelligence services and industry to look at whether it would be right to stop people communicating via these websites and services when we know they are plotting violence, disorder and criminality.” More: http://www.forbes.com/sites/parmyolson/2011/08/11/british-government-considers-blocking-twitter-facebook-to-prevent-riots/

David Cameron has signalled a new drive against gang culture following police reports in Manchester, Salford and London that a nucleus of the rioters were organised by inner-city gang leaders.
Senior police have briefed MPs and political leaders, including Cameron, that well-known gang leaders were at the centre of the second and third day of the looting, even though the majority of rioters were not gang members.
Cameron told MPs "gangs were at the heart of the protests and have been behind the coordinated attacks".

This is so completely staged. Normal people never do that and plus go on Twitter bullshit.
I too question the source of this. A grown man, a cop, begs a young girl not to stab him, come on folks. Who was the cop? I beleive there will be no reply on that one! She then sends a message admitting to attempted murder, messaging over her cell phone.

My best guess is that although there may be some examples of agent provocateurs they're probably the exception if they exist at all; instead I suspect they have just pushed the majority too far with their cuts while they have continued to cover up the corruption of the most powerful. Many of these people surly see that the royal family are essentially welfare cases that are living off the tax payers expense and they're cutting the benefits to the majority and putting the responsibility on them for the corruption of their leaders and the public isn't stupid enough to continue to take it; although I believe they should have gone about it differently since the riots will backfire. If they don't start addressing their legitimate concerns and show some leniency for those that were pushed to far they may have to go through this again until they get it right.
They need election reform as much as we do.

While I largely agree with you, I do disagree with the Blame The Red Team analysis. I don't know how old you are, but I seem to remember the Blue Team in power for a decade prior to Blair, and exactly the same crud going down. I would ask you to consider that there is just one "ruling class" and they pick a colour of which team to sign up with, be it the Red Team or the Blue Team. However that is just a farce for public consumption, they all went to the same schools.
For example
Diana Abbot Red Team lefty and tagged Left Wing Extremist Michael Portillo Blue Team right winger. described as the "darling of the right"
YET BOTH WENT TO THE SAME GRAMMAR SCHOOL
As to the Police being order to Stand Down, and only really reacting when the people them selves took to the streets to protect property and law and order - I agree.
As to the Police serving two masters and being riddled with Freemasons - I agree
As to the need to investigate the Police following this epic - I also Agree
Indeed. And to give an update on the Liverpool situation. It's fizzled out over the last two nights. This isn't '81 and there's just no support for these idiots. People are joking about the rain putting them off but I reckon many of them were worried the locals might give them a deserved stabbing. Shops in this area (Toxteth ground zeroish) have stuck to their normal closing times today.

Looters will no longer be able to cover up, says PM as he also promises cash for the rioters' victims AND a crackdown on social media Cameron says Army could be called in if riots are repeated Police are handed powers to unmask the wild rioters Inquiry under way into how to clamp down on social media There'll be talks with ex-US police chief about tackling gangs http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2024780/UK-riots-2011-David-Cameron-promises-social-media-crackdown-AND-cash-victims.htmlBy Tim Shipman Last updated at 12:13 AM on 12th August 2011 Rioters will be stripped of their hoods and masks and may be sprayed with indelible ink under a crackdown on violent thugs unveiled by David Cameron yesterday. Those attempting a repeat of the orgy of looting seen this week could also see their social networks, mobile phones and BlackBerrys turned off. A curfew may ban them from the streets at night, and the Army could take over guard duties to free police to tackle those running rampage.

Goldman Sachs owned Facebook calls for US Civil War to give Goldman more power
Goldman’s Facebook couphttp://blogs.reuters.com/felix-salmon/2011/01/03/goldmans-facebook-coup/Jan 3, 2011 00:18 EST The NYT reports that Goldman Sachs is investing $450 million of its own money into Facebook and that it’s bringing along $50 million from Digital Sky Technologies and as much as $1 billion more from its high-net-worth clients — all at a valuation of $50 billion. The enormous sums of money involved here clearly ratify the valuation: this isn’t a handful of shares trading in an illiquid market, it’s an investment substantially larger than most IPOs. It’s worth remembering here that only two years ago, when Microsoft bought into Facebook at a $15 billion valuation, that sum was described in the NYT as “astronomical”. But that said, Facebook’s multiples have clearly shrunk from those heady days: in 2007, Facebook could actually use Microsoft’s $240 million to fuel its expansion. Today, it’s reportedly earning $2 billion a year, which implies to me that this is a cash-out rather than a dilutive offering. Facebook has raised, in total, about $850 million to date, and there’s no obvious need for a massive new round of funding which would dwarf that entire sum. If Goldman is leading the buyers, then, who are the sellers? VC shop Accel Partners has been selling Facebook shares quite aggressively of late, at lower valuations than this. They could easily provide all the shares that Goldman is buying and still be left with a stake worth some $3.5 billion. And it’s entirely conceivable that some early employees might well want to diversify their holdings and have maybe a little less than 99% of their net worth in Facebook stock. As for Goldman, it has probably bought itself the IPO mandate, which could easily generate hundreds of millions of dollars in fee income. It has also become the only investment bank which can give its rich-people clients a coveted pre-IPO stake in Facebook: the extra cachet that brings and the possible extra clients, make this investment a no-brainer. Facebook doesn’t need to stay worth $50 billion forever — Goldman just needs to engineer an IPO valuation somewhere north of that, then exit quietly in the public markets. And that is surely within its abilities. Goldman Limits Facebook Investment to Non-US Clients Exposing Anti-American Agendahttp://dealbook.nytimes.com/2011/01/17/goldman-limits-facebook-investment-to-foreign-clients/ A quarter of hackers in the US have been recruited by federal authorities, according to Eric Corley, publisher of the hacker quarterly, 2600. Photograph: Getty Images The underground world of computer hackers has been so thoroughly infiltrated in the US by the FBI and secret service that it is now riddled with paranoia and mistrust, with an estimated one in four hackers secretly informing on their peers, a Guardian investigation has established. Cyber policing units have had such success in forcing online criminals to co-operate with their investigations through the threat of long prison sentences that they have managed to create an army of informants deep inside the hacking community. In some cases, popular illegal forums used by cyber criminals as marketplaces for stolen identities and credit card numbers have been run by hacker turncoats acting as FBI moles. In others, undercover FBI agents posing as "carders" – hackers specialising in ID theft – have themselves taken over the management of crime forums, using the intelligence gathered to put dozens of people behind bars. So ubiquitous has the FBI informant network become that Eric Corley, who publishes the hacker quarterly, 2600, has estimated that 25% of hackers in the US may have been recruited by the federal authorities to be their eyes and ears. "Owing to the harsh penalties involved and the relative inexperience with the law that many hackers have, they are rather susceptible to intimidation," Corley told the Guardian. "It makes for very tense relationships," said John Young, who runs Cryptome, a website depository for secret documents along the lines of WikiLeaks. "There are dozens and dozens of hackers who have been shopped by people they thought they trusted." The best-known example of the phenomenon is Adrian Lamo, a convicted hacker who turned informant on Bradley Manning, who is suspected of passing secret documents to WikiLeaks. Manning had entered into a prolonged instant messaging conversation with Lamo, whom he trusted and asked for advice. Lamo repaid that trust by promptly handing over the 23-year-old intelligence specialist to the military authorities. Manning has now been in custody for more than a year. For acting as he did, Lamo has earned himself the sobriquet of Judas and the "world's most hated hacker", though he has insisted that he acted out of concern for those he believed could be harmed or even killed by the WikiLeaks publication of thousands of US diplomatic cables. "Obviously it's been much worse for him but it's certainly been no picnic for me," Lamo has said. "He followed his conscience, and I followed mine." The latest challenge for the FBI in terms of domestic US breaches are the anarchistic co-operatives of "hacktivists" that have launched several high-profile cyber-attacks in recent months designed to make a statement. In the most recent case a group calling itself Lulz Security launched an audacious raid on the FBI's own linked organisation InfraGard. The raid, which was a blatant two fingers up at the agency, was said to have been a response to news that the Pentagon was poised to declare foreign cyber-attacks an act of war. Lulz Security shares qualities with the hacktivist group Anonymous that has launched attacks against companies including Visa and MasterCard as a protest against their decision to block donations to WikiLeaks. While Lulz Security is so recent a phenomenon that the FBI has yet to get a handle on it, Anonymous is already under pressure from the agency. There were raids on 40 addresses in the US and five in the UK in January, and a grand jury has been hearing evidence against the group in California at the start of a possible federal prosecution. Kevin Poulsen, senior editor at Wired magazine, believes the collective is classically vulnerable to infiltration and disruption. "We have already begun to see Anonymous members attack each other and out each other's IP addresses. That's the first step towards being susceptible to the FBI." Barrett Brown, who has acted as a spokesman for the otherwise secretive Anonymous, says it is fully aware of the FBI's interest. "The FBI are always there. They are always watching, always in the chatrooms. You don't know who is an informant and who isn't, and to that extent you are vulnerable." Wikileaks -- a Big Dangerous US Government Con JobBy F. William Engdahl, 7 December 2010 The story on the surface makes for a script for a new Oliver Stone Hollywood thriller. A 39-year old Australian hacker holds the President of the United States and his State Department hostage to a gigantic cyber “leak,” unless the President leaves Julian Assange and his Wikileaks free to release hundreds of thousands of pages of sensitive US Government memos. A closer look at the details, so far carefully leaked by the most ultra-establishment of international media such as the New York Times, reveals a clear agenda. That agenda coincidentally serves to buttress the agenda of US geopolitics around the world from Iran to Russia to North Korea. The Wikileaks is a big and dangerous US intelligence Con Job which will likely be used to police the Internet. It is almost too perfectly-scripted to be true. A discontented 22 -year old US Army soldier on duty in Baghdad, Bradley Manning, a low-grade US Army intelligence analyst, described as a loner, a gay in the military, a disgruntled “computer geek,” sifts through classified information at Forward Operating Base Hammer. He decides to secretly download US State Department email communications from the entire world over a period of eight months for hours a day, onto his blank CDs while pretending to be listening to Lady Gaga. In addition to diplomatic cables, Manning is believed to have provided WikiLeaks with helicopter gun camera video of an errant US attack in Baghdad on unarmed journalists, and with war logs from Iraq and Afghanistan. Manning then is supposed to have tracked down a notorious former US computer hacker to get his 250,000 pages of classified US State Department cables out in the Internet for the whole world to see. He allegedly told the US hacker that the documents he had contained "incredible, awful things that belonged in the public domain and not on some server stored in a dark room in Washington, DC." The hacker turned him in to US authorities so the story goes. Manning is now incommunicado since months in US military confinement so we cannot ask him, conveniently. The Pentagon routinely hires the best hackers to design their security systems. Then the plot thickens. The 250,000 pages end up at the desk of Julian Assange, the 39-year-old Australian founder of a supposedly anti-establishment website with the cute name Wikileaks. Assange decides to selectively choose several of the world’s most ultra-establishment news media to exclusively handle the leaking job for him as he seems to be on the run from Interpol, not for leaking classified information, but for allegedly having consensual sex with two Swedish women who later decided it was rape. He selects as exclusive newspapers to decide what is to be leaked the New York Times which did such service in promoting faked propaganda against Saddam that led to the Iraqi war, the London Guardian and Der Spiegel. Assange claims he had no time to sift through so many pages so handed them to the trusted editors of the establishment media for them to decide what should be released. Very “anti-establishment” that. The New York Times even assigned one of its top people, David E. Sanger, to control the release of the Wikileaks material. Sanger is no establishment outsider. He sits as a member of the elite Council on Foreign Relations as well as the Aspen Institute Strategy Group together with the likes of Condi Rice, former Defense Secretary William Perry, former CIA head John Deutch, former State Department Deputy Secretary and now World Bank head Robert Zoellick among others. Indeed a strange choice of media for a person who claims to be anti-establishment. But then Assange also says he believes the US Government version of 9/11 and calls the Bilderberg Group a normal meeting of people, a very establishment view. The latest sensational Wikileaks documents allegedly from the US State Department embassies around the world to Washington are definitely not as Hillary Clinton claimed "an attack on America's foreign policy interests that have endangered innocent people." And they do not amount to what the Italian foreign minister, called the "September 11 of world diplomacy." The British government calls them a threat to national security and an aide to Canada’s Prime Minister calls on the CIA to assassinate Assange, as does kooky would-be US Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Most important, the 250000 cables are not "top secret" as we might have thought. Between two and three million US Government employees are cleared to see this level of "secret" document,1 and some 500,000 people around the world have access to the Secret Internet Protocol Network (SIPRnet) where the cables were stored. Siprnet is not recommended for distribution of top-secret information. Only 6% or 15,000 pages of the documents have been classified as even secret, a level below top-secret. Another 40% were the lowest level, "confidential", while the rest were unclassified. In brief, it was not all that secret.2 Most of the revelations so far have been unspectacular. In Germany the revelations led to the removal of a prominent young FDP politician close to Guido Westerwelle who apparently liked to talk too much to his counterpart at the US Embassy. The revelations about Russian politics, that a US Embassy official refers to Putin and Medvedev as “Batman and Robin,” tells more about the cultural level of current US State Department personnel than it does about internal Russian politics. But for anyone who has studied the craft of intelligence and of disinformation, a clear pattern emerges in the Wikileaks drama. The focus is put on select US geopolitical targets, appearing as Hillary Clinton put it “to justify US sanctions against Iran.” They claim North Korea with China’s granting of free passage to Korean ships despite US State Department pleas, send dangerous missiles to Iran. Saudi Arabia’s ailing King Abdullah reportedly called Iran’s President a Hitler. Excuse to police the Internet? What is emerging from all the sound and Wikileaks fury in Washington is that the entire scandal is serving to advance a long-standing Obama and Bush agenda of policing the until-now free Internet. Already the US Government has shut the Wikileaks server in the United States though no identifiable US law has been broken. The process of policing the Web was well underway before the current leaks scandal. In 2009 Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller and Republican Olympia Snowe introduced the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 (S.773). It would give the President unlimited power to disconnect private-sector computers from the internet. The bill "would allow the president to 'declare a cyber-security emergency' relating to 'non-governmental' computer networks and do what's necessary to respond to the threat." We can expect that now this controversial piece of legislation will get top priority when a new Republican House and the Senate convene in January. The US Department of Homeland Security, an agency created in the political hysteria following 9/11 2001 that has been compared to the Gestapo, has already begun policing the Internet. They are quietly seizing and shutting down internet websites (web domains ) without due process or a proper trial. DHS simply seizes web domains that it wants to and posts an ominous "Department of Justice" logo on the web site. See an example at . Over 75 websites were seized and shut in a recent week. Right now, their focus is websites that they claim "violate copyrights," yet the torrent-finder.com website that was seized by DHS contained no copyrighted content whatsoever. It was merely a search engine website that linked to destinations where people could access copyrighted content. Step by careful step freedom of speech can be taken away. Then what? http://www.engdahl.oilgeopolitics.net/Geopolitics___Eurasia/US_Con_Job/us_con_job.html

Blast from the past...last year... Al Gore and David de Rothschild: "It's Time For Civil Disobedience" (video clip)
Look how Soros/Beatrix and the other Nazis gladly line you up like sheep to be slaughtered, torture you with chemicals, and restraints, and illegally imprison you!
Violence erupts outside Copenhagen climate summithttp://rawstory.com/2009/12/violence-erupts-copenhagen-climate-summit/By Raw Story Saturday, December 12th, 2009 -- 12:10 pm UPDATE Police in Copenhagen say they detained 968 people during climate protests in the Danish capital Saturday. The Associated Press reports that the protests -- which attracted 40,000 to 100,000 people, depending on the source -- were "mostly peaceful."Police said they rounded up 968 people in a preventive action against a group of youth activists at the tail end of the demonstration. Officers in riot gear moved in when some of the activists, masking their faces, threw cobblestones through the windows of the former stock exchange and Foreign Ministry buildings. The mostly peaceful demonstrations in Copenhagen on Saturday provided the centerpiece of a day of global climate activism stretching from Europe to Asia. Police assigned extra officers to watch protesters marching toward the suburban conference center to demand that leaders act now to fight climate change. Story continues below... ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES BELOW Violence broke out in Copenhagen on Saturday as tens of thousands took to the streets to demand tough measures on climate change, with demonstrators around the world rallying for action instead of words. Hundreds of youths wearing black went on the rampage through the Danish capital, throwing bricks and smashing windows, as around 30,000 protesters marched through the streets to demanding world leaders declare war global warming. Many of the youngsters, whose faces were covered with scarves, were forced to the ground by riot police before being bundled into vans, an AFP reporter said. Police said some 400 people were arrested in the scuffles, although the rest of the march -- the centerpiece of protests in 130 cities across the world -- remained peaceful. The huge march to the heavily-guarded Bella Center venue capped a day of lobbying by green groups around the world, staging peaceful, colorful protests from Australia to the Arctic Circle. "We can't change the science, we have to change the politics -- and if we can't change the politics, we have to change the politicians," Kumi Naidoo, head of Greenpeace International, told the main rally. If all goes well, the 194-nation conference under the UN's Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will wrap up on Friday with a historic deal sealed by more than 110 heads of state and government. It would commit major economies to actions that would curb emissions of heat-trapping fossil-fuel gases and generate hundreds of billions in dollars for poor countries badly exposed to climate change. Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen of host country Denmark was upbeat. "In less than a week, I believe we will achieve global agreement... an agreement that will set the course for an ambitious approach to our joint efforts in combating climate change," he told a forum on clean energy. But many delegates complained that progress had been negligible and the mood soured by finger-pointing. A draft blueprint, presented on Friday, ran into problems almost immediately among developing countries, emerging giant economies, the United States and the European Union (EU). Poorer countries lashed it for failing to spell out commitments on finance while the United States complained it failed to bind China and other high-population, fast-growing economies to tough pledges on emissions. The EU said the draft did not go nearly far enough to limit warming to two degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit), a goal endorsed by many countries. "We are in a situation where we can see that so far we haven't achieved enough," Andreas Carlgren, environment minister of Sweden, which currently chairs the EU, said on Saturday. The EU has unilaterally decided to cut its greenhouse-gas emissions by 20 percent over 1990 levels, and has offered to deepen this to 30 percent if it finds other major players willing to make a comparable effort. But Carlgren ruled this out, blaming foot-dragging by the world's top two carbon emitters. "So far we haven't sufficient bids on the table," he told a press conference. "So far the bids from the United States and China are not sufficient whereby we can deliver this 30 percent." Related article: US, China face off at talks Conference chair Connie Hedegaard scheduled an informal meeting with environment ministers on Saturday, followed by a further session on Sunday. Those meetings mark the start of a gruelling game of climate poker before the arrival of heads of state and government on Wednesday and Thursday, many of whom will speak in the conference's plenary session. Those slated to attend include US President Barack Obama, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Premier Wen Jiabao of China, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama of Japan and the heads of the European Union (EU). Failure on December 18 would deal a heavy blow to the nation-state system, the head of the Nobel-winning UN panel of climate scientists warned on Saturday. "I think if we are able to get a good agreement, this would clearly create an enormous amount of confidence in the ability of human society to be able to act on a multilateral basis," said Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). "If we fail, I don't think everything is lost, but certainly it will be a major setback." This video was published to YouTube by the Associated Press on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. Did you greenies understand that?
David de Rothschild told you to engage in violent disobedience after it became public that the copenhagen deal was a scam.
He told you to cause a diverson so that the media would focus on the disruption.
Then his cousin by incestuous inter-ritual orgies, Queen Beatrix, had her Nazi police ARREST YOU!
Lord Rothschild and the Queen Bitch drank tea and ate crumpets while you got processed as enemies of the state!
WAKE UP!
The new world order wants to end humanity itself!
You need more proof this is a scam?

my personal take is that this was a policing/social experiment and power grab for when TSHTF.
THEY NEED PERSISTING SOCIAL CRISIS TO JUSTIFY THE USE OF CIVILIAN TRAUMA AND SERVITUDE WEAPONS AS BRAGGED ABOUT BY ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI IN 1970!!

Read this article: HAARP, Haiti, Brzezinski and the NWO http://onlinejournal.com/artman/publish/printer_5495.shtml By Jerry Mazza Online Journal Associate EditorComment: What is important to note is Jerry Mazza's evaluation and comparison of the two moments in historical context:
He actually wrote a chapter called “How to Wreck the Environment” in his book, Unless Peace Comes. Of course, this came at the height of the Vietnam brutality. Given the aura of violence similar to today’s, Gordon described in his chapter, among other things, “polar ice cap melting or destabilization, ozone depletion techniques, earthquake engineering, ocean wave control and brain wave manipulation using the planet’s energy fields.”
Also important to note is Brzezinski's invisible hand in all of these narratives pervasive among the elite controllers of society: As of 1970, Brzezinski predicted HAARP could be used for “a more controlled and directed society” linked to technology. This society would be dominated by an elite group which impresses voters by allegedly superior scientific know-how.” Furthermore, Dr. Strangelove states, “Unhindered by the restrains of traditional liberal values, this elite [the New World Order of today] would not hesitate to achieve its political ends by using the latest modern techniques for influencing public behavior and keeping society under close surveillance and control. Technical and scientific momentum would then feed on the situation it exploits.”
And thus spake Brzezinski, who also predicted that it would take an inciting incident like Pearl Harbor (i.e., 9/11) to engage the normally peaceful American population to go to war on a march for world hegemony (i.e., The War on Terror). And he was spot on.
Zbig is not afraid, in fact, is lauded for thinking down avenues that would make most of us shiver with disgust. Regrettably, his forecasts tend to prove accurate, because they inspire the worst people to do the worst things. And so, these “tools for the elite” and their temptation to use them increases incredibly. The policies to use them are in place. As to the “stepping stones” that could be used to reach this highly controlled techno-society, Brezinski expected them to be “persisting social crisis” and the use of mass media to gain the public’s confidence. Again, he’s spot on.

RockefellerFoundation predicts for 2012 PERSISTING SOCIAL CRISIS caused by pandemic, economic collapse, marauding gangs So, I was reading this article (I think it has already been linked to by other people on here - since Alan Watt linked to it a couple of days ago - but as far as I know, this is the original article and contains some more stuff that the link Alan Watt put up did not have ) - and it made mention of this consortium called Global Business Network.
The English Ideology and WIRED MagazinePart Three Of Three Techno-Utopianism: The Final Imperial Solution by Mark Stahlman November 22nd, 1996 http://web.archive.org/web/20011226171744/www.rewired.com/96/Fall/1122.html
This snippet in particular piqued my curiosity No less chilling is the scenarios planning exercise that WIRED's wizards-behind-the-curtain perform on their multi-national clients. From General Motors to AT&T, the Global Business Network (GBN) charges hefty sums to show the yellow-brick-road towards "ByteCity" to strategic planners and top corporate brass. In one recent and rare public discussion of the results, GM's top planning team defined the three "alternative futures" which emerged after years of GBN counseling. The first is just like our world and, so by definition, is not very interesting. The second is an eco-fascist regime in which car designs are completely "Green" and the companies can only follow orders. The third is the fun one, however. This is the world in which armed gangs roam the streets and surface travel is a series of car chases. This scenario has already been anticipated with a Cadillac that includes armored protection and a "panic" button installed in the middle of the dashboard. The car has a satellite tracking system built in and it can call the local authorities (presumably your multi-national's private swat-team) and get help when you get trapped by the natives.
So naturally, I looked into Global Business Network. This consortium is kind of like Wells 'The Samurai' corporate overlord board - every bigwig company you can imagine that is into some type of big industry is among its members. Global Business Networkhttp://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Global_Business_NetworkFunding / Members - CorporationsI don't have time to list all of the companies, so let's just list for the sake of interest some of the key companies that consider themselves to be members - these companies also provide for the organization's funding: http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Global_Business_Network#Funding- AT&T

[...] http://www.gbn.com/articles/pdfs/GBN&Rockefeller%20scenarios.technology&development.pdfScenarios for the Future of Technology and International DevelopmentThis report was produced by
The Rockefeller Foundation and Global Business Network. May 2010 Let's see what Peter Schwartz, President of Global Business Network, has to say about these 'scenarios' firsthand: Scenario planning is a powerful tool precisely because the future is unpredictable and shaped by many interacting variables. Scenarios enable us to think creatively and rigorously about the different ways these forces may interact, while forcing us to challenge our own assumptions about what we believe or hope the future will be. Scenarios embrace and weave together multiple perspectives and provide an ongoing framework for spotting and making sense of important changes as they emerge. Perhaps most importantly, scenarios give us a new, shared language that deepens our conversations about the future and how we can help to shape it.
The Rockefeller Foundation has already used this project as an opportunity to clarify and advance the relationship between technology and development. Through interviews and the scenario workshops, they have engaged a diverse set of people - from different geographies, disciplines, and sectors - to identify the key forces driving change, to explore the most critical uncertainties, and to develop challenging yet plausible scenarios and implications.
Zbigniew Brzezinski pushes Rockefeller agenda of PERSISTING SOCIAL CRISIS to justify more weapons against the American people on LIVE TV! Zbigniew Brzezinski: Obama The New Mr. 'Malaise' http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2010/07/16/m-word-zbigniew-brzezinski-says-obama-presiding-over-age-malaise By Mark Finkelstein Fri, 07/16/2010 - 08:35 ET [/center]
Can you hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth emanating from 1600 Pennslyvania Avenue? It's Pres. Obama & Co. reacting to Zbigniew Brzezinki pinning on Barack Obama the word that doomed Jimmy Carter: "malaise."
On Morning Joe, Carter's former national security adviser said there "is a sense of pervasive malaise" in America. What's worse, suggested Zbig, Pres. Obama hasn't been able to figure out how to deal with the malaise. Ruh-roh!
ZBIGNIEW BRZEZINSKI: I think we're now going through a phase in which there is a sense of pervasive malaise, which affects different groups in society in different ways.
So people are dissatisfied; they're slightly worried; they don't see a good certain future for themselves or for the country, but in their own narrow sphere.
There's no grand mobilizing idea. And I have a sense that Obama, who started so well, and who really captivated people—he captivated me!—has not been able yet to generate some sort of organizing idea for an age which combines a malaise that's pervasive and percolating, and complexity.. . .
PAT BUCHANAN: We need a new paradigm!
BREZINSKI: And the President hasn't articulated it.
BUCHANAN: No he hasn't.
BREZINSKI: There goes any further invitation to the White House!
Brzezinski clearly understood the personal implications of his downer of a diagnosis: "there goes any further invitation to the White House!" The panel all enjoyed a good chuckle, but could anything be much worse for PBO than to be seen as the reincarnation of Jimmy Carter?
Historical Note: Here's more on the Malaise Speech itself. Interestingly, although Carter adviser Pat Caddell used "malaise" in his notes for the speech, Carter himself never actually employed the word, speaking instead of a "crisis of the spirit in our country."
No Goneril, She: Good daughter that she is, Mika tried to put the best face on father's words. As Zbig lamented the end of his White House invitations, Mika twice pointed out that he had said "yet." In other words, it's not that pops had painted the president an irredeemable failure. It's just that PBO hasn't come up with a solution to the malaise "yet."
The entire point of persisting social turmoil is to justify their insane weapons against humanity.

Mark Duggan death: IPCC 'may have misled journalists'http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14510329The IPCC said in a statement on Friday: "Analysis of media coverage and queries raised on Twitter have alerted us to the possibility that we may have inadvertently given misleading information to journalists when responding to very early media queries following the shooting of Mark Duggan by Metropolitan Police Service officers on the evening of 4 August." Police-issue bullet
It said the IPCC's first statement made no reference to shots fired at police.
But it said: "However, having reviewed the information the IPCC received and gave out during the very early hours of the unfolding incident, before any documentation had been received, it seems possible that we may have verbally led journalists to believe that shots were exchanged, as this was consistent with early information we received that an officer had been shot and taken to hospital.
"Any reference to an exchange of shots was not correct and did not feature in any of our formal statements, although an officer was taken to hospital after the incident."

Please realize that the social engineers and technocrats do $Billions in research to understand riots, mobs, mob power, and how to use the mobs to forward their agendas. There is enough technology to feed the world 1,000x over. Famine is a man made operation considering the technology available today. Austerity is only possible because of the derivatives ponzi scheme which will never be paid back. All of these operations are intended to create chaos and then to guide the chaos to assist the elite in their agenda.
5 sentences that needed to be quoted. It would have taken me months just to figure out how to say all that in 5 sentences... Here are a few of their publications concerning controlling riots and mobs:

The Hegelian "solution" is spreading like wildfire. It's exactly like a planned roll-out. Mixed feelings over Philadelphia's flash-mob curfew12 August 2011 Last updated at 19:01 GMT Crowds have been seen beating and robbing peoplePhiladelphia's authorities have ordered a weekend evening curfew for under-18 years old in an effort deter teenagers from wreaking havoc in so-called flash mobs. As Britain looks to America for answers to the rioting that has rocked England over the last week, the BBC's Laura Trevelyan visits Philadelphia to see how its new measures will work. The phenomenon known as flash mobbing, where groups of teenagers gather after alerting one another via mobile phone, Twitter and Facebook and rampage through the town centre, has frightened residents and alarmed Philadelphia's city government. While the scenes haven't been as violent or as sustained as those in urban England in recent days, crowds of teenagers have beaten and robbed people and shops have been damaged... Police kill mobile phone service to squelch protestBy Rik Myslewski in San Francisco • Get more from this author Posted in Mobile, 12th August 2011 22:41 GMT Free whitepaper – Cisco Unified Computing System and EMC VNXe3300 Unified Storage System In response to a threatened protest in its subway system, San Francisco authorities temporarily shut down mobile phone service in the underground stations of the Bay Area Rapid Transit District, known locally as BART."A civil disturbance during commute times at busy downtown San Francisco stations could lead to platform overcrowding and unsafe conditions for BART customers, employees and demonstrators," BART officials said in a statement released on Friday concerning the threatened Thursday demonstration. "BART temporarily interrupted [mobile phone] service at select BART stations as one of many tactics to ensure the safety of everyone on the platform." The statement also noted that although mobile phone service was curtailed during the expected protest period, train intercoms and courtesy telephones remained available for riders. According to the local-news website SFist, the demonstration had been publicized by a group known as No Justice No BART in response to the July 3 fatal shooting by BART police of an intoxicated homeless man, Charles Hill, who had allegedly thrown a knife at an officer. A protest of the shooting had disrupted BART service during the evening commute of July 11. For this Thursday's planned protest, SFist said, No Justice No BART had posted on its website that it wanted "to mobilize without public announcement beforehand" to preserve "the element of surprise". That posting was subsequently removed. more: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/08/12/bart_polioce_cut_mobile_phone_service/http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/08/12/BAEU1KMS8U.DTL&tsp=1

Chairman of Kroll pimped by media as 'supercop' will give orders to PM and police on back of riots The UK cannot arrest its way out of violence and should tackle the underlying causes of unrest such as racial tensions, the prime minister's new crime adviser, US "supercop" Bill Bratton, has warned. The former New York and Los Angeles police chief, who will meet David Cameron next month to share his expertise in tackling gang violence and street crime, said crime-fighting solutions that have worked in the US, such as making police forces more ethnically diverse, could get results in the UK. Bratton, who is chairman of private security firm Kroll, said social media sites could be useful for law enforcement in monitoring gang activities. "The idea is to get ahead of the violence rather than just react to it," he said. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/aug/13/bill-bratton-advice-uk-police

No BART in response to the July 3 fatal shooting by BART police of an intoxicated homeless man, Charles Hill, who had allegedly thrown a knife at an officer. A drunk throws a knife, well hell folks, just how many knifes did this guy have on him, did the cops think he was V. Kinda sketchy , and if thats how the official report is. Un-official- Just having some target practice, killing time. Hey Brocke, does it look like Britian is the testing ground of what is to happen across the lake.

Hey Brocke, does it look like Britian is the testing ground of what is to happen across the lake.
If you look at how fast the stories are rolling out after the riots in England it is obvious the it is a scheduled PR campaign. Let's face it a World Government exists in practice, just not in name. After the Norway attacks most of the developed countries had politicians calling for stricter gun control in unison. The problem - Violent Riots The Reaction - Fear and calls for martial law The Solution - (no need for martial law) just total control of our communication devices You can be certain that if they want to take something away from us it's because they know that we will use it against them or to coordinate amongst ourselves in the future. I think that the time of "testing grounds" is past. It's nearly show time and we are just watching the stage being set.

Cell phone blocking - Happening in the U.S. :http://www.nowpublic.com/tech-biz/opbart-logo-anonymous-vs-bart-over-cell-phone-jammingOp BART logo, proposed by @exiledsurfer. Anonymous put BART in its crosshairs after a mobile phone network shutdown at Civic Center station. The cell phone blockage was to prevent a protest against the BART PD's shooting of a drunk homeless man named Charles Blair Hill.If Anonymous plans an operation against you, it's not a good sign. At all. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/11226/1167284-84.stmNational briefs: 8/14/11 Sunday, August 14, 2011 Cell phone jamming flapSAN FRANCISCO -- A decision by San Francisco Bay Area transit officials to cut off cell phone service at some of its stations to thwart a planned protest drew an angry response Saturday from one transit board member who said she was shocked that officials acted as "this type of censor." Bay Area Rapid Transit officials have said they shut down power Thursday evening to cellular towers for stations stretching from downtown to San Francisco's airport after learning protesters planned to use mobile devices to coordinate its demonstration."I'm just shocked that they didn't think about the implications of this," said Lynette Sweet, who serves on BART board. BART Deputy Police Chief Benson Fairow on Friday told KTVU-TV that the agency decided to turn off underground cell service because it received reports that a rowdy group that had protested in July had similar plans. http://zennie62blog.com/2011/08/12/bart-cell-phone-blocking-action-was-illegal/BART Cell Phone Blocking Action Was Illegal – Updat ... BART’s action of blocking cell phone use at San Francisco’s Civic Center BART Station was illegal. According to a number of online sources, it’s a violation of Federal law, specifically Section 333 of The Communications Act of 1934. According to a citation issued January 26, 2011, by the Federal Communications Commission against Comtrex Communications for illegal cell phone jamming, Section 333 of the Communications Act of 1934 states, “[n]o person shall willfully or maliciously interfere with or cause interference to any radio communications of any station licensed or authorized by or under this Act or operated by the United States Government.” and Section 302(b) of the Communications Act provides that “[n]o person shall manufacture, import, sell, offer for sale, or ship devices or home electronic equipment and systems, or use devices, which fail to comply with regulations promulgated pursuant to this section.” There’s no evidence provided by any BART representative that such legal issues were considered before initiating the cell phone blocking action – BART seems to have just plain went ahead and done it.
