Anonymous has struck a third and deadly blow on the Arizona police. This latest grab includes personal information and emails for 1,200 officers including usernames, passwords, email addresses, credit card numbers and more.

    For the third knockout blow against Arizona law enforcement, we decided to get
    destructive. We're defacing eight AZ Fraternal Order of Police websites and
    releasing a master list of over 1200 officer's usernames, passwords, and email
    addresses.

    Additionally we are leaking hundreds of private FOP documents and
    several more mail spools belonging to FOP presidents, vice presidents,
    secretaries, a police chief, and the FOP Labor Council executive directory and
    webmaster whose insecure web development skills was responsible for this whole
    mess. We're doing this not only because we are opposed to SB1070 and the racist
    Arizona police state, but because we want a world free from police, prisons and
    politicians altogether.
     
    In this batch of emails we found more racist email chain emails, including
    Springerville's police chief Mike Nuttal forwarding jokes about torturing
    "ragheads". FOP president Brandon L Musgrave was also forwarding anti-muslim
    emails while also purchasing large amounts of guns, so we're dumping his paypal
    and credit card information as well. Other drama includes internal arguments
    over FOP positions, disputes over arrested FOP member Michelle Preiss, lots of
    crude anti-Obama jokes, and lots lots more.

I've never seen or heard of Anonymous going after AZ because of SB1070 until this here.

You know what the deal is. Few do unfortunately. And I believe the answer is "government controlled", or at the least it is people who have some serious backing that allows them to do these things. They are like the professional protestor plants that get paid to stir things up at ralleys and "protests". Digital provocateurs, designed to offer up a problem that authorities can then step up and offer a solution to the problem of "hacking" and "online security".

I do believe their overall goal is to increase "security" in their digital world.

And I think your correct that it is a red flag what these "hackers" are not pursuing in their efforts to expose stuff. I believe their goal is to bring more negative to Arizona as a protest to SB1070, which is AZ's immigration bill which the federal government has challenged in court. It's yet another case of the federal government stepping in to block a state issue, and that in itself tells me that most likely this "cyber attack" has the fed's fingerprints all over it.

From what I gather from the information I went and researched myself about Anonymous is they really are decentralised they want freedom of information, freedom from government control, and freedom to be individual. They are what I would call a bunch of freelance hackers that know what they are doing. They have only targeted big corporate companies, and oppressive governments. They gather documents and all sorts of things from their systems, and post it to web sites such as pirates bay and what have you. What they are doing is daring the government, NWO, so on and so forth to make a move for their internet blanket. They are proving that no matter how many firewalls, ip blocks isp blocks you cant stop them from getting in and finding out the information for the public eye. MSM is only telling part of the story and I do feel more like msm is trying to make them out to be a bunch of terrorists. They seem very peaceful and they want their message heard just like the rest of us. So to those of you who think they are fed well they aren't playing like I would see the fed playing around. Normally Fed types want chaos and violence. These people or non people want freedom and peace. I see nothing wrong with that. I say if they believe in what they are doing let them do it. No one is getting hurt and there hasn't been any innocents information stolen. The government took all our information, why not let them take the governments information?
