I wonder what her motivation was
for releasing this information ?
I notice she put a positive spin on it,
as if the US Government
was responsible for the fall of the Soviet Union,
rather than the dissatisfaction
of the many nation/states
and their desire for sovereignty.
Could this be her attempt at "damage control",
since the alternative news media
has released the CIA's involvement
in training and funding Al CIAda ?

Just an aside, but somewhat relevant :
One of my favourite movies is called THE TANK.
It is the story of a Russian soldier in Afghanistan
who becomes separated from his company.
Without giving a spoiler,
all I can say is that
the way he is defeated
is a tribute to the human spirit !

Yes I seen the movie, it was very interesting, I was amazed of all the defense mechanisms the tank had, and that was years ago, I can't imagine what they have now. Just an aside, but somewhat relevant :
