http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJKbknWN4f8.

Wow. Hangs up on a caller twice, then hangs up on another caller who asks him to prove his statements regarding his belief that Jesus was based on previous myths.

It's funny how people keep promulgating this lie that comes out of the New Age movement and secret societies since it has been debunked countless times and has yet to be proven by ANYONE using ANY primary sources. I bet Allan Watt watched Zeitgeist or read Acharya S.'s hilariously retarded writings and then started parroting it. That, or he is a legitimate disinformation agent but I doubt that as much as I think he is just gullible and can't do his own research or even do a google search apparently.

BTW there are multiple sites offering cash prizes for anyone who can prove the things Allan says. Too bad no one will be able to since it is completely made up nonsense. I don't even care if Jesus actually existed or not, that should not even come into this argument in my opinion. Watt is just saying something that is a lie while he is saying he is all about the truth. If Allan can't manage to do the research that would show him that none of the things he claimed are backed up by source religious texts, what else didn't he research properly? This casts so much doubt on his entire career in my opinion. Anyone who adamantly refuses to provide proof (or even research something for themselves, apparently) has no legitimacy in my opinion.

I hope this doesn't get deleted like my other Allan Watt disinfo topic in which he claimed there were actually 360 degrees of Freemasonry (something that Alex has mentioned once but is not backed up by any source material or any information that I have gathered. The only people saying this are so-called ex-Freemasons who claim that. Ask any REAL Freemason and they will tell you that you never leave the Lodge. Ever. Even if you stop paying dues you are held to your obligations, meaning that anyone who reveals the secrets, even if it is years after they have been active, will be held accountable for the breaking of their blood oath. If that guy was legit he would be dead. Nuff said.

this is an old clip, he mentioned just the other day how he said there definitely was someone at the the time of Christ who upset the authorities, and that christianity was originally meant to be for the individual in that he didn't need any mediator to talk to God,  to make a statement that Watt is disinfo based on this clip is weak...grant it the clip wasn't his best work

He directly said that Jesus is based on other Sun gods who were born of virgins. I don't think that is weak, especially combined with the other things he has said (like the Masonry thing). When someone boldly lies to their audience and cuts off callers who challenge their BELIEFS (not facts, as he has none) they are forever a deceiver or at best, ignorant and arrogant.

Backpedaling and saying that now has nothing to do with the facts. You can rationalize it all you want but he was lying to his audience or he doesn't research his claims. Both are equally bad and no future statements change his past behavior. If you believe that maybe you believe all of the child molesters who say they were rehabilitated just to go back and molest more children. Sorry but in reality people don't change in ways that massive and someone who either a) parrots disinfo or b) doesn't research their claims before making them isn't about to change just because someone made a youtube video that has less than a thousand views. Similarly, if a radio host cuts people off because he can't prove anything he says, do you really think he will act differently in the future when confronted on his lies and deception?

If so, I'll sell you the Sears Tower for $500 just send it to my paypal.

Well I think Jeff Cross has made a good point, he needs to stay calm and continue to articulate his point, because he is winning the argument.

By the way there are many infiltrators and we all should be willing to understand that some alliances have some mutual goals, but as Christian we have to understand fellowship with some is not really possible.

the guy has an hour show for the past few years plus his countless hours of talks and you're calling him a disinfo agent because of this 1 you tube clip, you have to base your decision on more than that.  he has discussed at length the sham of the Zeitgeist movement... to equate someone's views on history to someone who is a child molester doesn't make sense.
I don't have to think how he will act differently in the future, you can listen  to his May 4 broadcast at about the 28 minute mark,

Oh it's okay when people lie, just as long as they say some things that are true. Your point of view is what has allowed it to become acceptable for the government and media to lie to us 24/7.

Amos, I agree he got a little worked up in the video but I can understand why after just listening to him get talked over and hung up on two weeks in a row.

Also, the New Age infested part of the truth movement e.g. Icke, Tsarion, and Maxwell (and possibly Watt) does NOT have the same mutual goals unless the mutual goals are the same as those held by Theosophists. BTW, Icke is literally just parroting Theosophy when he gets into the esoteric stuff, and trust me I've been to the Theosophical Society's international headquarters and the Grand Lodge which is in my city as well. I know Theosophy when I hear it and this entire Jesus is a repetition of a Sun god myth is 100% pure Theosophy. It's all about syncretism and they will shape anything into their beliefs even if it is defied by the religion's own literature (sound anything like Luciferianism?). It is pretty worrisome to me that the truth movement has been, to a surprising extent, hijacked by the Theosophists and those who share their views. What's even more worrying is that people like chrisfromchi will defend these people even when they come right out and show their true colors as Icke, Tsarion and Maxwell do all too often.

well then you should hate Alex as well cause he is telling lies all the time.

Like Alex von Bülow was a former defence minister in Germany which is a lie, he was a secretary in the ministry of defence. Big difference. Alex also says there was a homeland security blimp over salt lake city that the media called a UFO while in fact it was a 6 foot long remote controlled blimp by some local inventor. Or that society is doomed because most people live in cities now and arent self sufficient so a great depression today will starve millions than the last big one. Which is also a lie because back then they had no cooling systems or giant harvesters where 2 people can harvest a giant area in one day. They had no trucks. And yes although its bad they didnt had conservatives in the food that kept it longer fresh. So you cant compare those two depressions like that and therefore he is lying to deceive you dont you see!!

Ok that was a bit sarcasm there. Watt isnt perfect and for his defence there is alot BS that has been manufacteured about the Jesus character. Like all these holidays that are obviously based on astrology and paganism. So most of the religious stuff that grew over the past 2000 years is utter nonsense. Also there are parallels to other deities, has been pointed out by many people and not just those satanic occult ones.

The pagan holidays have nothing to do with the bible. The fact is that you can link anything to anything else if you get general enough but saying it is based on other myths is just wrong. Also I don't agree with nearly everythin alex jones says. He claims the DA from San Fran said he would charge TSA agent. It was the da from San Mateo and he never actually said that outright. He also put the fear of God in people in order to sell them KI at a 200% markup. He markets dangerous "health" products. He will talk about the depression and tell people to buy his shirts in one breath.

I've never found a single person I agree with 100% but I've found that alex is more on point than any other host I've found thus far.

And thanks to chrisfromchi for exposing himself as a theosophy supporting sheep.

it's quite obvious who's acting like a disinfo agent. From a neutral as well as an islamic point of view, many of the fables surrounding the personality of the authentic jesus have been concocted based on previous mythologies, particularly babylonian. That doesn't discount the true facts such as those mentioned in the koran such as the virgin birth etc..

Just this once I agree with WakeUpAmerica.

Still we have a bunch of people on the forum who believe hook line and sinker in The New Age Region, the Religion of The New World Order. No matter how many times they are told that Zietgiest is horseshit, they continue to parrot away New Age Bull Shit.

No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.

Perhaps some of us are not into conflict and into us vs. them but actually seek to "operate" in a mode that is more advanced and more, well, positive than that primitivity which only serves to enslave us, in the end. So Alan Watts believes that JEsus Christ is one of the sun gods, so what? Do you have a proof to the contrary that is not based on faith? It is quite clear that there are similarities, and I will tell you an interesting thing, it does not endanger true faith in the slightest, even if it were one thousand times true. Only a weak faith not built on a stone will be shaken to the core; hence, anger. That faith is based on us vs. them, it has a god that is white to a devil that is black... patterns of the world, anyone?

And, EvadingGrid, when I see something that is workable and rational and better than what we have now and what the others propose to have (ZTM vs the restoration of the Republic), am I an idiot to follow that grander vision? Granted, in a way, I would be an idiot to really "follow" any vision, but I will not condemn people for seeing, intuitively, something for the truth, or for "more true" than the alternative that is presented. Could even that vision be co-opted? Oh yes, but so can be ANYTHING in this world.

As for the New Age, compared to the Christianity that is presented by fundies, the us vs them (again) based, hell, based, fear based, judgemental, conditionally loving god based dogma actually IS the grander vision. To convert someone from that to fundism is to actually make him LOWER his standarts with respect to what is the greatest imaginable good, to twist him. I will not aid nor abett that, sorry. Therefore I will not condemn the New Agers. Of course they are not "The Truth," but they are to be EDUCATED, not twisted into medieval revenge based paradigms.

I really have to basicially agree with you, but I don't think chrisfromchi is so much defending Mr. Watts, but his point was that you are hammer on all the unsaved truthers; a little rememberance that there is probably a lot more so called Christians that support the New Age system than unsaved truthers.

Quote
Traditional belief based on scriptural details and astrological calculations gives the date of Krishna's birth, known as Janmashtami,[43] as either 18 or 21 July 3228 BCE and departed on 3102 BCE.[44][45][46] Krishna belonged to the Vrishni clan of Yadavas from Mathura, and was the eighth son born to the princess Devaki, and her husband Vasudeva. Mathura was the capital of the Yadavas, to which Krishna's parents Vasudeva and Devaki belonged. The king Kansa, Devaki's brother,[47] had ascended the throne by imprisoning his father, King Ugrasena. Afraid of a prophecy that predicted his death at the hands of Devaki's eighth son, Kansa had the couple locked into a prison cell. After Kansa killed the first six children, and Devaki's apparent miscarriage of the seventh (which was actually a secret transfer of the infant to Rohini as Balarama), Krishna was born.
Since Vasudeva believed Krishna's life was in danger, Krishna was secretly taken out of the prison cell to be raised by his foster parents, Yasoda [48] and Nanda, in Gokula. Two of his other siblings also survived, Balarama (Devaki's seventh child, transferred to the womb of Rohini, Vasudeva's first wife) and Subhadra (daughter of Vasudeva and Rohini, born much later than Balarama and Krishna).[49] According to Bhagavata Purana it is believed that Krishna was born without a sexual union, by "mental transmission" from the mind of Vasudeva into the womb of Devaki. Hindus believe that in that time, this type of union was possible for achieved beings.[43][50][51] In one story, Kamsa sent an ogress named Putana to poison baby Krishna with her breast milk. She approached him and suckled him. Instead of her poisoning him, he sucked the life out of her, revealing her true form.

Krishna and Jesus
Born without sexual union (of a virgin vs. mental transmission)
Threatened after birth
Spirited away in early age to be raised in Egyp/by foster parents
...

I won't be taking their challenge because they are like the fundies in assuming that stories do not change, so they would probably not give me the money for the above, even if I had the time to seek it in the actual ancient writing; Plus I would have to do it with ALL those claims, and not just the majority of them, despite the fact that even one "match" is pretty significant in this case. Even Wikipedia has (sourced) remarks about Krishna's birth and early adulthood that kind of reminds us of something. Unfortunatelly, Peter Joseph made a mistake of being as literalistic as the fundies are. If he just presented the above and other cases as facts and sourced them, he would not attract so much vitriol.

So does the above make Krishna and Jesus one being, or one story twice told? Not necessarily. But we are not arguing about that, are we. We are arguing about the intelligence of the people that would claim to believe in those figures being connected, whether or not it is "stupid" to think so. And in my recogning, it is not obviously wrong to think that they are connected, based on the evidence, it is a rather deep, a rather complicated subject, and it is not a black and white matter of celver vs. stupid. They are entitled to their opinions. There are certain ideas that are obviously wrong, on both sides, ISis-RA-EL of Jordan Maxwell's provenience comes to mind on New Age side, and the fable of Semiramis and Tammuz on the Christian side. But that does not prove anything but the fact that the proponents of these ideas are mere human beings that do sometimes make stupid mistakes and are swayed, sometimes, by surface resemblance.

EvadingGrid: And you please understand that setting a priori impossible, and artifical demands is tantamount to dismissing the other party off hand. It is not a correct debating technique to set an artificial hoop of impossible configuration and then making the other party have to jump through it or else.

My points are all still valid, he literally said EXACTLY what they say in the movie Zeitgeist. He can backpedal all he wants but he outed himself as either a disinfo agent or a crap researcher.

I didn't "call him a disinfo agent because of this 1 you tube clip" maybe you should re-read the topic title or my posts. I clearly say either he is a bad researcher or a disinfo agent. Either one makes him illegitimate in my mind. At least Alex Jones says verifiable facts and always has (or at least for as long as I've listened to him) instead of completely imaginary things.
So Alan Watt is illegitimate because of this you tube clip from years ago, did you listen to the show I just posted? Is he not allowed to change his point of view? He would be considered a disinfo agent if he kept on peddaling the Zeitgeist nonsense, I told you he doesn't. This is the same bogus tactic by people who come up with 1 you tube clip and proclaim Alex Jones or jason Bermas a disinfo agent. Your judgment of Icke ,Tsarion ,Maxwell I agree with, with Watt you're off the mark.

"REMEMBER THE ALAMO!"

This is amazing...

Tell me WUA... not using the Bible, find me a historical account of the story of Jesus...? Also tell me why the mythical essence, the whole of the ephemeral nature of God, in all cultures and in all times... is such an undesirable thing.

And lastly is there anyone on this planet who holds a differing religious opinion than you, that you don't demonize and call a disinfo agent...

Alan, from the beginning, has stated that he does not believe in the corporeal Jesus... so...? But, because this offends you and others like you, you find it neccessary to defame him as a disinfo agent...  So, all of the good he has done over the last 20 years in your mind is crap...?

FYI, most folks here just by your posting this, have no doubt now what you are trying to do...

Please read the First Amendment until you understand it completely... this includes the layers of subtle meaning that underly its surface meaning...

Your position here, if it had been held by the majority of the Christian founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and others would have been ostrisized as a disinfo agents because they too didn't believe in the historical Jesus...

Please take a break, and give your "witch-hunting proseletizing" a rest...

And thanks to chrisfromchi for exposing himself as a theosophy supporting sheep.

I understand where it comes from and how it all fits in together in the entire conspiracy genre better than a lot of people here.

I dont feel like this outs him as a disinfo agent. He has a right to believe too and that should not matter in the fight.

EvadingGrid: And you please understand that setting a priori impossible, and artifical demands is tantamount to dismissing the other party off hand. It is not a correct debating technique to set an artificial hoop of impossible configuration and then making the other party have to jump through it or else.

Are you seriously saying that requesting any source documentation for your claims is an a priori impossible demand? Are you insane or do you just believe everything you're told?

This has come about many times the whole 'Sun God'  'Son of God'.  If so why don't we know of these other Sun gods ?  Did it ever occur to people that all this may be the fabrication of some jealous pagans if not other religious dis-info ?

Re-read my posts and re-watch the video. If you think your statements are still remotely relevant I'd be happy to address them. And since when have I only posted links? "what I'm trying to do"? You sound like you really should see someone about your paranoia.

No, but I claim the necessity of completing that impossible challenge to be a bit too steep. I did provide and example of an interesting "coincidence" about the birth of Krishna and Jesus. And, at any rate, we are not discussing here the matter of whether the Zeitgeistian belief is or is not true, but whether or not it is stupid/treasonous to hold this belief. And I tried to point out that the matter is far from being simple "it's stupid!"

There are a ton of sun gods buddy! The fact is that Sun and Son have no actual etymological similarities in the original languages. That is why all scholars, Christian and non-Christian alike, have shown this to be utter crap with no basis in reality.

It amazes me how ignorant some of the people on this forum can be. Why not do some research instead of attacking me?

One Billion Hindus most assuredly know about Rama or Krishna. Also, the people in their respective ages knew well enough about Hor or Aton (whatever the vowels were in those names).

Am I the only one to consider the belief that God showed Himself in ONE special revelation to ONE murderous nation (and ancient Israel HAD bloody borders INDEED) out of all the ages (even if the Earth was just 6000 yrs old) of the World somewhat denigrating of God's character?

You posted something you wrote. Now show me the source documentation or I will laugh in your face just like someone scared of al Qaeda or Qaddafi. You should really look into taking some religion courses because you'd find that your ideas are pure fantasy.

Btw I had a Rabbi prove to me that, even if Jesus never existed, the myth is NOT based on older sun god myths or Indian myths or anything else. You can find similarities in literally anything if you try hard enough but honestly you'd be laughed out of any educated discussion on the topic with your idiocy.

Birth of Krishna: http://www.sanatan.org/en/campaigns/KJ/birth.htm

I am sure I don't have to source the birth of Jesus. Do you want me to spend time to try to locate the birth of Krishna story in the Mahabharata or will you be content with what his own followers tell about him?

Again, this is not about proving whether or not the Z story is REAL, but whether it is historically believable without being "stupid." So my link proves that there are interesting paralells and THEREFORE Allan Wats does not have to be "stupid" for following that rabbit trail. Savvy? Smiley

It wasn't meant as an attack.  Sorry if it came off like that.  I am very much into Ancient Aliens and how many religious stuff may be the interactions of Earth humanity with ETs.  I have no doubt that Jesus like many others were off worlders who tried to guide humanity.  In fact I wouldn't be surprsied if the whole immaculate conception was artificial insemination via an off-world race.

It has been said that Yaweh was a visitor to Israel and not God as we know it too.

So what is Jesus really ?  A personification, an artificial insemination, what ?

Requesting documentation is one thing. Hurling childish insults at someone is something else entirely.

The more you and others arrogantly blur that fundamental distinction, the more you undercut the validity of your own arguments, because a person with truth on his side doesn't need to resort to childish insults.

I think that's the essential point JT was making. And I applaud him for doing so.
