CNN SHOCK POLL: RON PAUL HAS BEST CHANCE VS OBAMA

Who does best against Obama? Paul. The congressman from Texas, who also ran as a libertarian candidate for president in 1988 and who is well liked by many in the tea party movement, trails the president by only seven points (52 to 45 percent) in a hypothetical general election showdown. Huckabee trails by eight points, with Romney down 11 points to Obama.

CNN SHOCK POLL: Ron Paul has the only chance to beat Obama in 2012!
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/05/05/cnn-poll-still-no-front-runner-in-the-battle-for-the-gop-nomination/

Greenville, South Carolina (CNN) - The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey's Thursday release comes hours before the first Republican presidential debate of the 2012 election cycle. The debate is being held in South Carolina, which holds the first southern primary on the road to the White House. What about the showdown in November 2012? According to the poll, taken before the announcement of Osama bin Laden's death, President Barack Obama has an edge over all the top GOP candidates in hypothetical match-ups.

The poll indicates the president leading Gingrich by 17 points, Palin by 19, and Trump by 22 points. The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted April 29-May 1, with 1,034 adult Americans questioned by telephone. All interviews were completed before the president announced that bin Laden, the founder and leader of the al Qaeda terrorist network and the man responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks, was killed by U.S. forces in Pakistan. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points.

FINALLY! I am thrilled that they are beginning to mention Ron Paul.  He is so well respected and liked, he is probably much higher in the polls than they even admit...

CNN polls say that Obama would still beat Ron Paul?

How could that be?

Are we heading toward 4 more years of Obama in the White House?

Hasn't it been plenty enough already?

Obama has the consolidation of all the democrats, when Ron Paul gets the consolidation of the GOP or even independent, those numbers will shift BIG TIME! Even with CNN's standard 25-50% manipulations of the results.

The MSM's approval of Ron Paul is somewhat disconcerting, if Dr. Paul wasn't at it for so long I would think he was another Obama Manchurian Candidate/False Messiah

MSM's approval?

Manchurian Candidate?

Fake Messiah?

1. Pre-game to the unveiling of new republican savior.

2. Republicans are punting with ron paul, thus discrediting the entire movement and tea party.

3. He may just have a chance with the right narrative, less stammering and positive events. patriot underdog ftw...

4. CNN trying to influence Fox's Narrative before their debate, making top news nation poll going in to a debate setting a lead.

You do realize that although this forum exposes the positive influence Ron Paul has on America, the MSM barely feigns interest at all. 99% of the time Ron Paul is left off of the polls because he would win hands down. Even in the CNN poll, they claimed that Obama would still beat Ron Paul. The headline was not from CNN, it was a tweeking of a Drudge headline. Go to the MSM and see what they say. And every time they say anything negative, hundreds of thousands of RP supporters swarm their phone lines. People are genuinely pissed off in this country and people like Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel, etc. can no longer just be thrown under the MSM bus without the 300 million awakening Americans getting riled up.

I've sent the link to this CNN article to all the folks on my contacts list along with the article on Gingrich and his support of Obama-care... his plan is like car insurance, like do we need full coverage or just collision there Newt..?

The 14th Amendment made us all the property of the corporate system, run by the global banking cartel who plugged into our Constitution 6 years after they killed Lincoln ...Then, after taking out two more 'private central bank' hating President's, they took complete control of the money in 1913 with the 16th Amendment and the Federal Reserve Act.

It's time to purge our Constitution of all of the unlawful corporation control creating and protecting Amendments... there are 13 of them, each one within their wordage dovetails with the others, protecting the DC globalists more and more with each one at the expense of the states and the people.

Rep. Ron Paul takes second in New Hampshire CNN poll
The State Column | Staff | Tuesday, May 24, 2011

Texas Rep. Ron Paul is performing well in the latest CNN poll of potential Republican primary voters.

Mr. Paul, who declared his candidacy for president last week, took second in a CNN/WMUR poll released by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, which shows former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney favored by 32 percent of likely Republican primary voters.

Mr. Paul took second with 9 percent support.

The CNN poll is the second poll in as many weeks to find support for a Paul candidacy. An earlier CNN poll showed Mr. Paul leading amongst Republican voters.

No the NWO media figures that if they just mention Paul a few times it'll be enough to pacify the RP supporters.

The idiot-Americans will just figure "Oh another straw poll."

But it would put neo-con radio into such a fit tho.   ;D ;D ;D

Could you imagine Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity giving Ron Paul a nice George Noory type reception.   :D

I am preocupied for only one reason, how will the power elites deal with this.
The people are waking up to consequences of the wars but this ongoing war theater is the elites baby.
They don't play by any rules, never have and neverr will, what is to be their responce, what can they do to insure the wars escalate, to insure domestic domination. and global mastery.
Bush did his part, Obama did his, loyalty to the masters, mission accomplished. But the threat of peace in on the boards, ending their bloodsucking.
 What will be their counterattack.???

Look Ron Paul could take the CP & LP nominations if the Republicans get stupid with him and still win the Presidency.

The Republicans are in the Nazi-Party, Communist-Party, Socialist-Party camp with the majority of Americans.

I don’t know how old this poll is but here’s one asking who would be best to debate Obama. Chime in and let them know.

It says to leave a comment but I haven’t been able to do it or I would give them an ear full.

I thought that I heard the other day that all of the rest of the GOP debates would be canceled. If this is true, could anyone give a link to the news article saying so?

It amazes me, how the media continues to de-legitimize Ron Paul supporters.  No matter what the situation is in favor of Ron Paul's candidacy, they cannot accept it for what it is.  If he wins a poll, the same little loyal group must be following him to the same gathering and stuffing the ballads there!  Or if the crowd is enthusiastically cheering at one of the debates, it's because they're that same kooky group.  I've heard the words "hero worship" and "groupies".  And to explain away the large amount of donations I'll quote, "Ya, Ron Paul's supporters LOVE to donate money!!...ha, ha".  The condescending remarks just don't stop.  We are all just a bunch of redneck, uneducated, unemployed idiots who have nothing better to do than to blindly follow crazy uncle Ron

I was speaking with a Rep of the state of Tn recently at a dinner put on by the camber of commerce, who commented that Ron Paul was a "different breed".  He was very pleasant but when he said that I lost respect for him.  Any one who speaks ill of a man who is so humble, and full of integrity, who resists speaking ill of others,  possesses the very opposite traits themselves!
