Danish Scientist Who “Debunked” Autism-Vaccine Connection Indicted in Money Laundering, Wire Fraud

American prosecutors are seeking to extradite a Danish scientist who a federal grand jury in Atlanta has charged with 13 counts of wire fraud and nine counts of money laundering.

It is alleged that over the four-year period, Poul Thorsen submitted over a dozen false invoices from the CDC for research expenses to Aarhus University, where he held a faculty position, instructing them to transfer the funds to a CDC account, which was in fact his personal account.

“Grant money for disease research is a precious commodity,” noted Sally Quillian Yates, from the US Attorney’s office for the Northern District of Georgia, in a news release. “When grant funds are stolen, we lose not only the money, but also the opportunity to better understand and cure debilitating diseases.”

Thorsen’s research on autism is widely known in academic circles, where he was until this week a highly respected figure. A paper of his on the subject, which is known as ‘The Danish Study’, is quoted extensively to refute the autism vaccine connection.

This scientist’s work has been the “go-to source” for those trying to debunk the vaccine/autism connection.  His work was widely publicized while the original work, showing a connection between the two, was typically buried or not discussed.  I bet if you were to continue tracking this money or his connections, contacts and conversations, we would certainly see a connection between Big Pharma entities and Mr. Thorsen.

Hey guys. Long time lurker, first time poster. I was having dinner with my folks, my brother, and my sister-in-law recently, when the subject of autism came up. I opined that perhaps vaccinations had something to do with the 600% increase in autism diagnoses in recent decades. My brother and his wife start screaming "That's been disproven!" My brother than smirks and tells me that his future kids will get ALL the vaccinations.

 Later the subject of 9/11 came up and he tells me that nobody credible believes what I believe, and he's too busy being "productive" to look into conspiracy theories. Mr. Productivity has set up facebook pages for all three of his cats. It's sad when I see my family setting themselves up to be fleeced. I'm tempted to send them this link, but they won't believe it unless Brian Williams or Chris Matthews tells them to.

A central figure behind the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) claims disputing the link between vaccines and autism and other neurological disorders has disappeared after officials discovered massive fraud involving the theft of millions in taxpayer dollars. Danish police are investigating Dr. Poul Thorsen, who has vanished along with almost $2 million that he had supposedly spent on research.

Thorsen was a leading member of a Danish research group that wrote several key studies supporting CDC's claims that the MMR vaccine and mercury-laden vaccines were safe for children. Thorsen's 2003 Danish study reported a 20-fold increase in autism in Denmark after that country banned mercury based preservatives in its vaccines. His study concluded that mercury could therefore not be the culprit behind the autism epidemic.

His study has long been criticized as fraudulent since it failed to disclose that the increase was an artifact of new mandates requiring, for the first time, that autism cases be reported on the national registry. This new law and the opening of a clinic dedicated to autism treatment in Copenhagen accounted for the sudden rise in reported cases rather than, as Thorsen seemed to suggest, the removal of mercury from vaccines. Despite this obvious chicanery, CDC has long touted the study as the principal proof that mercury-laced vaccines are safe for infants and young children. Mainstream media, particularly the New York Times, has relied on this study as the basis for its public assurances that it is safe to inject young children with mercury -- a potent neurotoxin -- at concentrations hundreds of times over the U.S. safety limits.

Thorsen, who was a psychiatrist and not a research scientist or toxicologist, parlayed that study into a long-term relationship with CDC. He built a research empire called the North Atlantic Epidemiology Alliances (NANEA) that advertised its close association with the CDC autism team, a relationship that had the agency paying Thorsen and his research staff millions of dollars to churn out research papers, many of them assuring the public on the issue of vaccine safety.

Here's the deal you MUST show them the video's of 1st repsonders, FDNY, NYPD and survivors talking about the bombs in the buildings.  And on autism there are so many newsclips you can bring up, they even have a newsclip from fox saying that mercury is good for a developing childs brain.  you should show them how they put mercury in high fruitose corn syrup and show they make advertisments saying that the government says its safe for you to to drink mercury.

Thanks for the info. My brother made a point of stateing he only trusts mainstream media, because they "get paid to tell the truth." I brought up the fact that NBC is owned by GE, CBS is connected to the Rothchilds, ABC owned by Disney, MSNBC owned by the psychotic vaccine demigod Bill Gates, CNN owned by Club of Romer Ted Turner, Fox (which he doesn't trust anyway b/c he's a liberal) associated with globalists Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch, and everything else is connected to the Nazi-sympathizing traitor to his religion, George Soros. I even mentioned how Edward R. Murrow addmitted being an OSS psy-ops specialist. I got nowhere. Lots of eye-rolling and screaming. He even looked me in the eye and said "Ron Paul supporters are idiots." I think I might have to accept that I'm going to have some autistic nieces and nephews. He even said he wouldn't look at Webster Tarpley's or Alex's info b/c "they're probably just trying to sell stuff." And yet the MSM is trustworthy BECAUSE they're in it for a paycheck. There are some people that cannot distinguish a true fact from a false one. They are so much brain-washed, and they refuse to search.
