Two questions:

1) Roberts leaves us with the idea that as people increasingly lose their jobs and houses, Washington is faced with such a domestic crisis that they can no longer maintain their foreign adventures -- is he suggesting an overt military takeover of America by American soldiers brought back from Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea, Japan and about a hundred other places simultaneously, like shock doctrine style?

If the goal is some type of scientific dictatorship, it's probably already here. Gradualization...

2) Is the whole Russia/China vs. America thing just the Global Chessboard's version of the bogus left-right paradigm?
