You know Alex got served with a ticket/court order for so much less, right? Someone in some town way across the country put up a sign on a telephone pole. Now you're destroying private property. Way to go, what are you 15? In the real world things have consequences.

I don't really think that's a cool thing to do even if I support the infowarriors. I personally like my environment clean. Someone in my family owns a post office, I don't think spraying on it would be a nice thing to do, nor would they appreciate, no matter how good the intentions are.
Specially since it looks more like publicity for Infowars than anything else, and it's not like Infowars has the most credible articles (even if you can find some truth here). Anyway, I can think of a few perspectives from which this is the wrong approach. Another is how it makes look "conspiracy theorists" like adolescents or kids with spray cans (cant you picture that?) instead of intellectuals and professionals, educated people.
Going to university, writing books, studying politics, writing essays and articles, organizing public debates and petitions, etc., those seem like better things to do.

Quiet right. Its also unlikely to persuade anyone anything by defacing the town.

flyers are better. but this is great! it's a tough call, as long as it's not on someone's house or vehicle the road barricades is good. fence not so good. side of bridges.. good. store front window.. not so good. side walk.. debatable.
also if it was done ala 'banksy' artistically stylized, it would be a little more acceptable.
imo

I tried to find construction areas or areas under development. The black fence is merely temporary and its full of flyers most of the time. The red fence with the house ad on top is also a construction site that will be there temporary. The other ones I tried to place them in places where I knew there was grafitti before and have a good point of view. I will get flyers next time though. Last thing I would want is to do is involve someone is something unnecessary. Also the graffiti placement was on the side of the store and at the back beside the dumpster where the main parking is.

Construction is private property. Who are you helping by destroying someone's PRIVATE property? I get that you're young and want to stand up to "the man" but you don't do that by destroying private property. We are fighting for LIBERTY which includes the sanctity of private property. When you go around wrecking people's hard-earned work, it doesn't look make the rest of us infowarriors look good. I can't speak for everyone but I think it is safe to say that we want to get this information out in an informative, educational, and most of all REPUTABLE fashion. Spraypainting (very poorly I might add) is NOT a way to bring a positive reputation to a movement. Now, if you were good at graffiti (which I used to be, I used do a LOT of graffiti but NEVER on private property) and did some nice block work or something it would be more acceptable. But again you're not understanding that destroying small businesses is exactly the opposite of what we want to do. Instead of spraying on a small business why wouldn't you deface government property? It just makes no sense to me that you think destroying private property is a good idea. Something tells me you don't really understand what this is about or what is going on here. This is why we have an overbearing government, kids like you can't manage to keep their sh*t together without systems like juvenile detention, "special" highschool programs, etc. Sorry if I seem mean but this kind of crap really pisses me off. If I saw you spraying on the back of my apartment building I'd happily run down there and kick your ass, just sayin'.

I completely understand your point of view, however like I said before the black, red and blue background where I tagged are covered with paper ads most of the time. Secondly the other tags were by absolutely no means small businesses. And I am not a kid I fully understand the repercussions of what I did , and like I said I will get flyers next time. And you would be happy be limping on your way back home if you would try to pull of a hero move, just sain'.

Oh internet tough guys, gotta love 'em. I assume you're a kid because you don't understand that those construction fences are owned by a private company (other than the construction company) and that they rent the advertisement space there. When they get spraypainted on someone from the company has to come out and paint over it or call the poster distrib. company and have them put up new ones. Have you ever thought about doing less harmful methods that are 100% targeted at gov. property? Wheatpasting electrical boxes is the best example. You can also affix a sign made out of plastic coardboard type stuff and then get a giant zip tie, punch two holes in it put the zip through it, put it around a lightpole/telephone pole and then tighten it up and push it up with a stick until it is too high for someone to take down easily. Wheatpasting flyers on gov. property is a popular choice too because you are punished a great deal less for it if caught, at least in CA.

Big deal its painted plywood. It aint Banksy and painting prominant private brick walls crosses some ethical lines but for the most part --fire up the paint can.

I was just replying to your rant. And yes I do understand that they are privately owned and I know for a FACT that they are not rented for advertisement, for a FACT! Posters go up there without anyones permissions, don't try to school me on the area I live in.
