General Romeo Dallaire wrote a book "Shake Hands with the Devil" telling how he was abandoned by the UN, Pentagon when he needed help in Rwanda to stop the Genocide of 800,000 humans:http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/dallaire/http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Heroes/Gen_Romeo_Dallaire.html Key Points:
* He describes the machete-wielding government-sponsored forces who went on a killing spree in 1994 and murdered 800,000 people in 100 days. It's a damning indictment of world leaders and UN bureaucrats who failed to stop the genocide.
* So, who does he blame?
"I blame the American leadership, which includes the Pentagon, in projecting itself as the world policeman one day and a recluse the next," Dallaire says.
"In fact, vulgarly stating in the General Assembly three weeks before the Rwandan genocide and civil war started, I mean, president Clinton saying in the General Assembly that through his Proposition 25 that Americans would go only if it was in their self-interest."
* Dallaire's main line of communication with the world was through the department of Peacekeeping Operations at the UN in New York City. Before the war began, Dallaire asked for leave to take pre-emptive action against those he suspected of plotting the genocide. New York told him to back off.
* As the death toll mounted, General Dallaire submitted a detailed plan for a Rapid Reaction Force. He needed 5,000 soldiers to dismantle the killing machine of the genocidaire and to stop the Hutu power movement. The UN Security Council rejected the plan. The United States even refused to acknowledge the genocide to avoid any legal obligations to help. I guess there was no OIL, no bases to set up in Rwanda, or other resources to stir Clinton and the UN to help this general stop the massacre in Rwanda in 1994! I guess some humans are just not worth it ah, UN (who claims to keep peace, but we wonder if that's just a cover when they allow Genocide to occur in 3rd world countries), Pentagon (a faction in the Pentagon who loves war when they get something out of it - Neocons come to mind) who is constantly interferring in other countries when "it serves their interest" (Clinton comment back then), but doesn't engage when lives are needing to be spared? EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS ARTICLE, AND YOU TELL ME THAT USA LED WARS ARE SELECTIVE AND NOT ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE LIKE THEY ARE TELLING US IN THE CURRENT LIBYAN INVASION, BUT ABOUT "OUR INTERESTS". YOU SEE, LIBYA, IS IN THE US INTEREST BECAUSE THEY HAVE OIL AND MORE!

So, I have to ask what is the UN's real purpose?
This General was working in a called PEACE FORCE MISSION with the UN! I guess the UN is about their "self interest also" just like Clinton's comment?
Should they even exist if they can't do the job they were supposedly set up to do? Or has their mission now become (and always was) being the enforcement arm of the NWO?
As you said, the real purpose of the UN is that they are the enforcement arm of the NWO. They pick and choose what they want to do. 800,000 people dead in a sub-Saharan African country means nothing to them. THE NWO WANTS 90% OF THE PEOPLE ON THE EARTH DEAD AND 100% OF THE RESOURCES.

That's exactly what it looks like! The UN needs to be shut down, and everyone who has worked for them in the upper echelon (those in the know about what the UN is really about) should be tried for crimes against humanity!

Yes jofortruth. We do have a few problems though---the courts are owned by the NWO/UN and most of the people are still asleep. Most of the people think the UN is good---you know sending in UN "PEACEKEEPERS"----ha, what a joke!!

Well, then they should read the Book above (or at least the article) because General Dallaire tells a very different story, EXPOSING the UN (and many more) for the scumbags they are!

They are leaches sucking off the blood (money) of the American people. I have seen bumper stickers for AT LEAST 20 YEARS calling for the abolishing of the UN.

US chose to ignore Rwandan genocide - Classified papers show Clinton was aware of 'final solution' to eliminate Tutsis: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/mar/31/usa.rwandaA little too late, Bill! An admission of your guilt now is too late. You knew, and did nothing. Therefore, the blood of 800,000+ is also on your head!

UN, NATO......... An extension of the elites, their hammer. I liken this to the office of president,CONTROLLED, and they are.. I pray that if things get hairy domestically, we don't see NATO forces marching in our streets.

No oil in Rwanda, therefore no UN help. Oil in Libya, therefore they "help."

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

That's right! Libyan's were expendable because they were black, poor and they had nothing to buy or sell. They were the forgotten people, and our President at the time, Clinton, looked the other way just like the UN. He later said in his memoirs:"The failure to try to stop Rwanda's tragedies became one of the greatest regrets of my presidency."

I wish politicians would approach each decision as though it was a future regret. But they tackle everything in such a cavalier manner, that they act like nothing they do is a wrong choice.
