Sorry - Mike is off his rocker LOL
YOU can blame the Corporate Globalist Rothschild-ZioNAZI Likudniks for nuclear proliferation and nuclear blackmail and nuclear extortion and threatening all life on earth promoting criminal nuclear fission technology and even for screwing up and sabotaging Iran's stupid nuclear-fission monkey-see nuclear-fission monkey-do nuclear fission lunacy uranium separation copy-catting lunacy with their criminal Stuxnet worm, but not for these criminal US Navy-surplus junk-GE reactor disasters criminally built on top of an earthquake fault line in the path of tsunamis in Japan.
They should have never been built there and no fission reactor should ever be built anywhere on this planet above-ground!
Edward Teller and Albert Einstein both made this obvious fact clear to everyone years ago before any of this mad nuclear fission insanity ever started. Fermi was a evil criminal a$$hole to even attempt his insanely stupid and ignorant experiments without taking humane and decent precautions to only do so deep underground..
The only safe nuclear fission reactor is one that is already buried deep underground. The "China Syndrome" is the inevitable only ultimate result of every fission reactor it's just a question of how long you can go on preventing it that makes them seem to "work".
Nothing about the dangerous and stupidly criminal process of nuclear fission is ever safe nor good in any way. It's a miracle that more of these inevitable and unavoidable criminal disasters have not occurred.
They are even trying to do the same damn criminal thing in Chile now!

If you need to blame anyone blame the criminals Hans Blix and Mohamed El Baradei who defend and protect the lies of the criminal IAEA and the Pentagon criminals who criminally commercialized their surplus garbage-reactors to proliferate their psychopathic nuclear madness! The greatest and "most evil fallout" from Chernobyl was lies! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiCXb1Nhd1o&feature=player_embedded#t=4716sPlease don't get me wrong I'm not against safe nuclear reactors - I just vehemently oppose the ignorant and irresponsible construction of any of them anywhere above-ground. We know better. There is no excuse. What's worse is that there will be no second chances! Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

You make absolutely no sense. You are saying that people should not be investigating STUXNET because nuclear power plants built above ground are inherently evil. How is that even an argument? Instead of just discarding things out of hand, why don't you actually research it? There are over 100 posts dealing with the sourced evidence that STUXNET does exactly what occurred to the plant (ability), has been used before to do the exact same thing by the same people who stand to gain from this incident (motive and historical track record of the same crime), has left an evidence trail showing that STUXNET was in the area for months before the incident (opportunity). You are a pretty smart guy, please just research this as anyone who looks at the actual evidence is having difficulty discarding what seems to be the most likely cause.

You do realize that Chernobyl was sabotage right? The entire meltdown was the result of a planned drill which terminated all safety systems and when the engineers said to stop the drill, the beurocrats told them they needed to finish it. This is all documented and part of the historical record. Just like 9/11. Unless we expose these false flags, the methods they use, and the criminals behind them, they will get worse and worse. It does not matter if you build a nuke plant 100,000x more safe. That is the nature of a false flag...it terminates all safety systems, adds additional unforseen levels of destructive forces, and is used as a fundraiser to raise money for all sorts of "protective" legislative projects while limiting freedom of individuals and of commerce.

Well crap Dig, you can't blame these people (or that silly worm thing) for everything! Just where, when and how it happened is more than plenty of evidence all on it's own. You don't need a stupid computer to turn/keep a a couple of pumps on or to keep a generator going! A few pieces of masking tape on a relay or a simple jumper clip wire across a few terminals in any control box would fix any of that nonsense! The damn diesel generators flooding-out were not caused by any stupid computer - LOL This is all plain old electromechanical safety garbage - the computers functioned to activate the damper rods and flood the system, initially, to begin a normal laboriously slow and prolonged "safe" shutdown process that takes SEVERAL WEEKS of constant, active cooling to complete with adequate electrical power to run pumps to slowly cool it down afterwards. Once (if) temperatures "run-away" due to any stoppage during this long, constant and gradual MANDATORY SLOW process, you are screwed. The backup power failed. End of "theory"

Well crap Dig, you can't blame these people (or that silly worm thing) for everything! You act as if this is sheer speculation. For one thing--Earthquakes do not have "precision strike" capabilities. Just where, when and how it happened is more than plenty of evidence all on it's own. Just like the evidence that planes crashed into the twin towers "proves" that the resulting damage and fires that ensued caused the buildings to collapse. By your logic, there was no nano-thermite found in the WTC debris. You don't need a stupid computer to turn/keep a a couple of pumps on or to keep a generator going! You're right, you don't. But that is what has been put in place--DELIBERATE INSECURITY. Why do you think I have been railing at the top of my lungs about Ptech for the last 3 years? I already proved that EVERYTHING of importance has already been FALSE FLAG ENABLED with software specifically designed to facilitate inside job destruction. Japan was a casualty of the high treason "cyber war", think-tanked and mandated by RAND Corporation & CSIS for 15+ years. Their false flag was the "9/11 for Climate Change" that they needed. If you think I am wrong, please read the following: A Plan to Power 100 Percent of the Planet with Renewables (notice nuclear has no place in their plans--what a coincidence) http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=a-path-to-sustainable-energy-by-2030More evidence of an all-too-perfect motive: Japan Earthquake false flag is the "9/11 for Climate Change" (Cybernetics) http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=203523.msg1214838#msg1214838Btw, in case you don't realize--the "clean energy" agenda is a total fraud--it is about shutting down sources of legitimate power, (that are made to look illegitimate with false flags being carried out against them) to force you into massive extortion for use of lesser amounts of power than what you would normally use, as well as micromanaging your life with cybernetics (control of the information flows between all things) by denying you the use of electronic devices that you own in your own home. A few pieces of masking tape on a relay or a simple jumper clip wire across a few terminals in any control box would fix any of that nonsense! Don't be ridiculous. You're not in charge of any security measures at any powerplants anyways, and I 100% guarantee you that no person on Earth will be allowed to implement real security into them. The elite will eventually convince you that they have--but they will have taken your freedom away in doing so. The damn diesel generators flooding-out were not caused by any stupid computer - LOL Sources: Staged cyber attack reveals vulnerability in power grid http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/09/26/power.at.risk/index.htmlFrom CNN's Jeanne Meserve WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Researchers who launched an experimental cyber attack caused a generator to self-destruct, alarming the federal government and electrical industry about what might happen if such an attack were carried out on a larger scale, CNN has learned. Sources familiar with the experiment said the same attack scenario could be used against huge generators that produce the country's electric power. Some experts fear bigger, coordinated attacks could cause widespread damage to electric infrastructure that could take months to fix. CNN has honored a request from the Department of Homeland Security not to divulge certain details about the experiment, dubbed "Aurora," and conducted in March at the Department of Energy's Idaho lab In a previously classified video of the test CNN obtained, the generator shakes and smokes, and then stops. DHS acknowledged the experiment involved controlled hacking into a replica of a power plant's control system. Sources familiar with the test said researchers changed the operating cycle of the generator, sending it out of control. Video Watch the generator shake and start to smoke » The White House was briefed on the experiment, and DHS officials said they have since been working with the electric industry to devise a way to thwart such an attack. "I can't say it [the vulnerability] has been eliminated. But I can say a lot of risk has been taken off the table," said Robert Jamison, acting undersecretary of DHS's National Protection and Programs Directorate. Government sources said changes are being made to both computer software and physical hardware to protect power generating equipment. And the Nuclear Regulatory Commission said it is conducting inspections to ensure all nuclear plants have made the fix. Industry experts also said the experiment shows large electric systems are vulnerable in ways not previously "What people had assumed in the past is the worst thing you can do is shut things down. And that's not necessarily the case. A lot of times the worst thing you can do, for example, is open a valve -- have bad things spew out of a valve," said Joe Weiss of Applied Control Solutions. "The point is, it allows you to take control of these very large, very critical pieces of equipment and you can have them do what you want them to do," he said. Adding to the vulnerability of control systems, many of them are manufactured and used overseas. Persons at manufacturing plants overseas have access to control system schematics and even software program passwords, industry experts say. Weiss and others hypothesize that multiple, simultaneous cyber-attacks on key electric facilities could knock out power to a large geographic area for months, harming the nation's economy. "For about $5 million and between three to five years of preparation, an organization, whether it be transnational terrorist groups or nation states, could mount a strategic attack against the United States," said O. Sami Saydjari of the nonprofit Professionals for Cyber Defense. Economist Scott Borg, who produces security-related data for the federal government, projects that if a third of the country lost power for three months, the economic price tag would be $700 billion. [INSERT: COINCIDENCE? THAT THAT'S THE SAME CITED FIGURE AS THE 1ST "BAILOUT"?] "It's equivalent to 40 to 50 large hurricanes striking all at once," Borg said. "It's greater economic damage than any modern economy ever suffered. ... It's greater then the Great Depression. It's greater than the damage we did with strategic bombing on Germany in World War II." [INSERT: WHAT ABOUT THE "BAILOUTS" TODAY?] Computer experts have long warned of the vulnerability of cyber attacks, and many say the government is not devoting enough money or attention to the matter. "We need to get on it, and get on it quickly," said former CIA Director James Woolsey on Tuesday. Woolsey, along with other prominent computer and security experts, signed a 2002 letter to President Bush urging a massive cyber-defense program. "Fast and resolute mitigating action is needed to avoid a national disaster," the letter said. But five years later, there is no such program. Federal spending on electronic security is projected to increase slightly in the coming fiscal year, but spending in the Department of Homeland Security is projected to decrease to less than $100 million, with only $12 million spent to secure power control systems. Despite all the warnings and worry, there has not been any publicly known successful cyber-attack against a power plant's control system. And electric utilities have paid more attention to electronic risks than many other industries, adopting voluntary cyber-standards. "Of all our industries, there are only a couple -- perhaps banking and finance and telecommunications -- that have better cyber-security or better security in general then electric power," Borg said. And DHS notes that it uncovered the vulnerability discovered in March, and is taking steps with industry to address it. While acknowledging some vulnerability, DHS's Jamison said "several conditions have to be in place. ... You first have to gain access to that individual control system. [It] has to be a control system that is vulnerable to this type of attack."
"You have to have overcome or have not enacted basic security protocols that are inherent on many of those systems. And you have to have some basic understanding of what you're doing. How the control system works and what, how the equipment works in order to do damage. But it is, it is a concern we take seriously."
"It is a serious concern. But I want to point out that there is no threat, there is no indication that anybody is trying to take advantage of this individual vulnerability," Jamison said. [INSERT: EXCEPT YOU!!!!!!!!] Borg notes that industry will have to remain forever vigilant at protecting control systems. "It will always be an ongoing problem. It's something we will have to be dealing with [for] lots of years to come," he said.

To safely cool down one of these while maintaining containment you also need cooled after-heat-exchange condensers to precipitate radioactive steam back into cool radioactive water to pump back in, which means you need loads of power to run many (several) "heat exchange" stages of external (sea water cooled) intercoolers.
With no power for the prolonged time they lost it, the runaway core heat buildup inside the reactor vessels got completely away from them.
No computer has (nor need have) anything to do with anything but monitoring such electro-mechanically integrally autonomous processes. It would be unsafe not to have hardwired pressure and temperature limit switches operate the valves and collector tank float switches and many external and internal pumps it takes to regulate such simple external liquid reclamation processes.
In any case, they are engineered to be of sufficient appropriate capacities to run constantly, unsupervised for the duration of the cool-down cycle.
With no power, no computer nor "stuxnet" could have any effect on this!
When they got back inside, intense radioactive steam pressure had blown/stuck valves and/or containment plumbing and they had to resort to pumping-in raw seawater and venting-out hydrogen and steam and draining-out raw sea water (so-called "Injecting" lie) through the damned things to desperately try to stop them from melting down further.
You don't need a stupid computer to run a submersible sea water sump-pump or drain pipe either.
"Shutting down" a reactor of this sort takes a month to do - after - you stop the damned fissioning (criticality process). These reactors did not belong in such a place, it was criminal to site them there.

Well crap Dig, you can't blame these people (or that silly worm thing) for everything! It is not a silly worm thing. It is a complete military operation that has involved thousands of people, international corporations (SIEMENS, GE, Microsoft, others), multiple countries (Germany, US, UK, Israel), and has the destructive force only seen in the movie 2012. It is a complete takeover of ajny industrial facility by stealth. It is the ultimate false flag weapon. It allows for oil rigs to blow up, damns to burst, gas lines to be sabotaged, and nuclear reactors to melt down. THIS IS THE INTENDED PURPOSE AND IT IS INVOLVES MANY PEOPLE. Just where, when and how it happened is more than plenty of evidence all on it's own. You don't need a stupid computer to turn/keep a a couple of pumps on or to keep a generator going! These computers are not stupid. They are the enire brain of the operations. If they are hijacked remotely to go into stealth mode, they can raise or lower temperatures and near-meltdown states just as was done in Japan. None of the evidence follows a standard event (even due to the previous methods of sabotage). A few pieces of masking tape on a relay or a simple jumper clip wire across a few terminals in any control box would fix any of that nonsense! c'mon dude...these are industrial controllers, they are not radio shack soldered switches. The damn diesel generators flooding-out were not caused by any stupid computer - LOL How do you know and why would you not want to investigate this highly plausible cause given all the evidence? This is all plain old electromechanical safety garbage - the computers functioned to activate the damper rods and flood the system, initially, to begin a normal laboriously slow and prolonged "safe" shutdown process that takes SEVERAL WEEKS of constant, active cooling to complete with adequate electrical power to run pumps to slowly cool it down afterwards. Is that the scientific explanation? Just read what you wrote: "This is all plain old electromechanical safety garbage" You cannot be serious. This is a nuclear reactor. They said the same BS about Chernyobl which has now been proven to be a complete lie. They tried to say similar things about 9/11. They say similar things about plane false flags all the time. They said the same thing about the Gulf/BP false flag which also uses similar industial controls and has a similar agenda for the carbon tax. What is the reason for not investigating this highly likely scenario? Once (if) temperatures "run-away" due to any stoppage during this long, constant and gradual MANDATORY SLOW process, you are screwed.
The backup power failed. End of "theory"
All of these events can be better explained with remote control over the industrial controllers. Let me leave you with this very interesting revelation... Norway (Oslo-the heart of many globalization projects) has bragged that they are going to monopolize the next generation of energy systems by building what they call "safe reactors". Of course the proposal is extremely costly and there must be compelling events that force countries to take on these projects. A few weeks before the tsunami struck Fukushima’s uranium reactors and shattered public faith in nuclear power, China revealed that it was launching a rival technology to build a safer, cleaner, and ultimately cheaper network of reactors based on thorium. This passed unnoticed –except by a small of band of thorium enthusiasts – but it may mark the passage of strategic leadership in energy policy from an inert and status-quo West to a rising technological power willing to break the mould. If China’s dash for thorium power succeeds, it will vastly alter the global energy landscape and may avert a calamitous conflict over resources as Asia’s industrial revolutions clash head-on with the West’s entrenched consumption. China’s Academy of Sciences said it had chosen a “thorium-based molten salt reactor system”. The liquid fuel idea was pioneered by US physicists at Oak Ridge National Lab in the 1960s, but the US has long since dropped the ball. Further evidence of Barack `Obama’s “Sputnik moment”, you could say. Chinese scientists claim that hazardous waste will be a thousand times less than with uranium. The system is inherently less prone to disaster. “The reactor has an amazing safety feature,” said Kirk Sorensen, a former NASA engineer at Teledyne Brown and a thorium expert. “If it begins to overheat, a little plug melts and the salts drain into a pan. There is no need for computers, or the sort of electrical pumps that were crippled by the tsunami. The reactor saves itself,” he said. “They operate at atmospheric pressure so you don’t have the sort of hydrogen explosions we’ve seen in Japan. One of these reactors would have come through the tsunami just fine. There would have been no radiation release.” Thorium is a silvery metal named after the Norse god of thunder. The metal has its own “issues” but no thorium reactor could easily spin out of control in the manner of Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, or now Fukushima. Professor Robert Cywinksi from Huddersfield University said thorium must be bombarded with neutrons to drive the fission process. “There is no chain reaction. Fission dies the moment you switch off the photon beam. There are not enough neutrons for it continue of its own accord,” he said. Dr Cywinski, who anchors a UK-wide thorium team, said the residual heat left behind in a crisis would be “orders of magnitude less” than in a uranium reactor. The earth’s crust holds 80 years of uranium at expected usage rates, he said. Thorium is as common as lead. America has buried tons as a by-product of rare earth metals mining. Norway has so much that Oslo is planning a post-oil era where thorium might drive the country’s next great phase of wealth. Even Britain has seams in Wales and in the granite cliffs of Cornwall. Almost all the mineral is usable as fuel, compared to 0.7pc of uranium. There is enough to power civilization for thousands of years. [...] If a string of countries cancel or cut back future reactors, let alone follow Germany’s Angela Merkel in shutting some down, they shift the strain onto gas, oil, and coal. Since the West is also cutting solar subsidies, they can hardly expect the solar industry to plug the gap. BP’s disaster at Macondo should teach us not to expect too much from oil reserves deep below the oceans, beneath layers of blinding salt. Meanwhile, we rely uneasily on Wahabi repression to crush dissent in the Gulf and keep Arabian crude flowing our way. So where can we turn, unless we revert to coal and give up on the ice caps altogether? That would be courting fate. US physicists in the late 1940s explored thorium fuel for power. It has a higher neutron yield than uranium, a better fission rating, longer fuel cycles, and does not require the extra cost of isotope separation. The plans were shelved because thorium does not produce plutonium for bombs. As a happy bonus, it can burn up plutonium and toxic waste from old reactors, reducing radio-toxicity and acting as an eco-cleaner. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/comment/ambroseevans_pritchard/8393984/Safe-nuclear-does-exist-and-China-is-leading-the-way-with-thorium.htmlThe arguments seem very sound and this may be a viable path for proponents of nuke energy to take. But here is again the same talking point driving the debate: " There is no need for computers, or the sort of electrical pumps that were crippled by the tsunami. " The Tsunami was incapable of causing these problems. It makes no sense. It is like saying two airplanes crashes and ensuing fires can cause over 260 stories of steel beams in the world trade center to implode in less than 26 seconds.

We need to research the connections between HAARP : MITRE : Assassination victims John Wheeler & Ashley Turton, and the events of 03/11/11 - the Earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear Reactor meltdowns in JAPAN.
This cannot be overstated!

This gets to be a tiresome discussion between polar views. For those that dismiss the Japan quake as purely natural, ask yourselves what is the fundamental principle of a false flag event? It is the combining of a real threat with the government sponsored false flag. 9/11 and 7/7 where both false flag operations superimposed on background terror drills. Forget that the terror drills are exaggerated responses to events. They can become part of the natural background activity of our culture. The false flag event is superimposed on this activity. Now earthquakes are and have always been natural events. They always occur. So what is the equivalent of the above to a HAARP generated earthquake and tsunami? It is to superimpose the HAARP event on a natural occurring event. The unusual solar activity and close opposition of the lunar cycle with the earth could have caused the Japan disaster on its own. But this coincidence of events IS ALSO THE TIME THE CRIMINAL MIND WOULD WANT TO COMMIT THE CRIME. It is also my opinion that if HAARP is to be effective it has to synchronized with ideal conditions for an earthquake. At the very least to get a stronger one. Lunar cycles are easy to predict. Predicting solar flare activity is not, but it has been recently developed http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2010/20100119_solarflare.htmlso... The only solution is for the public to continually expose and demand declassification of HAARP and operations like STUXNET.

I wonder if even people here on the forum, who are presumably "awake" would recognize a more sophisticated false flag than 911 when it occurs.
The globalists have had 10 years to perfect the 'shock and awe' campaigns they generate with false flags. The events in Japan are to the Climate Change agenda what the events of 911 were to the endless 'war on terror', and the further removal of our freedoms.
Can you see this?
Can you see this is the rationale they will use to shut down the (non-carbon-emitting) nuclear power industry? Did you notice we went to war in Libya while everyone was in shock and awe over radiation in Japan? When there is no coal industry, when they've removed nuclear technology for power, they further our dependence on oil (Libya has a bit of oil, yes?), they tax the hell out of us, and congratulate themselves on the fact that even most of those 'truthers' are asleep on this latest false flag.

Did you even listen to the broadcast? We have documented in this forum that Stuxnet was a creation of the US and Israel; search it and read. Calling out the zionists is NOT blaming the 'jooooos' -- not unless Joe Biden had his bar mitzvah recently, and Sarah Palin as we speak is learning the torah. Mike Rivero does not blame "the joooos"... he DOES call out the zionists, something that is documented - Israeli and US Intelligence built Stuxnet to attack Iran. Do you think they wouldn't use it elsewhere? Do you think the globalists had a one-act massive false flag on 911 - then they retired?

Norway (Oslo-the heart of many globalization projects) has bragged that they are going to monopolize the next generation of energy systems by building what they call "safe reactors". Of course the proposal is extremely costly and there must be compelling events that force countries to take on these projects.
The arguments seem very sound and this may be a viable path for proponents of nuke energy to take. But here is again the same talking point driving the debate:
"There is no need for computers, or the sort of electrical pumps that were crippled by the tsunami. "
The Tsunami was incapable of causing these problems. It makes no sense. It is like saying two airplanes crashes and ensuing fires can cause over 260 stories of steel beams in the world trade center to implode in less than 26 seconds.
You cannot run an air breathing diesel engine underwater, and once water gets in it's ruined. The power lines went down they ran out of power to safely complete the automatic self-controlling simple but energy intensive "safe" cool-down process, no computers, no Stuxnet, it was just a case of no power. Thorium and Deuterium Uranium (CANDU) reactors are much safer and can be "turned off" and walked away from, these US Navy surplus garbage cannot. There is nothing else to "investigate"! No "stuxnet" nor any computer could have had anything to do with this inevitable set of easily foreseeable circumstances that resulted in these inevitably obvious exact-same outcomes (X3). The guys who built those particular reactors there in that way were criminally negligent crooks and liars. They had to have known there was no way to certainly and safely shut them down properly in any natural disaster scenario. Why didn't they have three sets of diesel backup generators? (and one on the roof?) There is no way to safely shut down any of these sorts of high pressure high temperature boiling water pressure reactors quickly to begin with without a certain source of power for the entire duration of the process, that is an established certainty. It's a forgone conclusion that disasters of this sort are inevitable with a defective and hazardous pile of junk like this. Merely "operating" one of these war-surplus junkpiles consists solely of continuously averting disaster 24/7/366 as it is.

Those diesel generators could have run fine in a watertight room with a stupid air snorkel up the tower, or on canned air, for that matter, they just didn't give a damn, or fired the engineer who pointed that out. (just to cheat and save money)
There's no need to bring the Mossad-Likudnik's stupid and criminal Stuxnet into it, this planet is chock full of rich criminals of all ethnic tribal mafia, racist-eugenic noble monarchist sorts and hateful religious-socialist perversions.

I don't doubt the involvement of Stuxnet, but to me this sounds like yet another one of Mike Rivero's "the joooos did it".
Notwithstanding any past narratives of Mike, please listen to the broadcast on its own. Even ifhe tries to sway opinions to target israel...he always has damn fine analysis and it is easy to figure out what is what. I would say the same about Gordon Duff, especially recently.

My understanding is that the plant still had line power from the grid... so there was no need for the diesel backup early on, in order to power the shut down sequence I mean... Well I have heard nor seen no evidence of that - We do have plenty of pictures of "the grid" power lines being taken out completely by the tsunami and officially there is no suggestion they had any power - Why bring in new power lines for 3-4 days? They couldn't even use the roads! This is silly - if they had power, cooling operations require no computer. The only diesel engine they finally got working a few days later was at #6 which hadn't come on since that reactor was idle/cool (unlike the pools at #4). they hooked it up quickly to #5, but it alone was inadequate to go further. They also reported that the cooling and cool-down systems all ran for an extra 10-12 hours until the batteries were exhausted. It takes a large amount of power to run all these big reactor deep wet well liquid-recirculating and high-volume seawater circulating pumps. Lifting tons of water out of the ocean, even that modest distance is no light work either.

Just one of those 4th floor cooling pools hold 1600 tons of radioactive water you have to change every day or so and you probably need twice that amount of seawater to cool that with LOL
These places are not energy star rated - you need megawatts of power to get you millions of cooling BTU's just to keep them from blowing up when they're "off".
Just the one set of "hot rods" from the week-old shut down and disarmed #4 reactor (alone) were still decaying-out (radiating) 700Kwh of heat into their pool at the time of the quake.

Silly or not, computer or not, electrical power would be required to perform the shut down operation, and to circulate coolant... batteries, diesel generators, or line power take your pick... The point is that the reactor workers were immediately aware of the earthquake, and the pending tsunami... the reactor shutdown would have begun at that time unless the computers were compromised and telling the operators....
The damn diesel generators flooding-out were not caused by any stupid computer - LOL
Once (if) temperatures "run-away" due to any stoppage during this long, constant and gradual MANDATORY SLOW process, you are screwed.
The backup power failed. End of "theory"
FACT: Japanese nuclear plant in Fukushima ran on Siemens controllers. FACT: The stuxnet worm was created/programmed to infect Siemens controllers. FACT: Stuxnet worm was discovered last year infecting computers at Japanese industrial facilities. Corporate controlled media fairytale/propaganda: The tsunami caused cooling systems and backup emergency cooling systems controlled by computer systems to fail. (BELIEVE US, WE WOULDN'T LIE TO YOU! Move along, nothing to see here. No need to look into stuxnet/sabotage.)

Well all reports say the system inserted (triggered the hydraulic actuated) control rods up, into the core from the bottom (which is how this core shutdown works) withut a hitch and began spraying the core as designed at the time of the quake sensor went off. The remaining cool down cycle is automatic and autonomous after this. The control room like all control rooms has manual overrides for every aspect of system control that can be used should any automated feature or process not be activated, and physical telemetry sensors and physical alarms to backup/verify all or any computer program displayed "console" sort of nonsense. In any event there is also the tertiary option of sending a tech out with a bag of clip leads to keep simple things like pumps operating if one has power to run them. It makes no sense that any computer "glitch" hiding some failure or process defect on a stupid console screen could escape physical alarm notice of operators in the control/telemetry/override room. Operating a nuclear reactor isn't like starting your car from a cell phone.

Right. I think that as time goes on, as the shock and awe subsides, people will start to pick apart the events - look at the timelines, and begin to question exactly what happened. To avoid investigating Stuxnet as a possible cause would be a criminally negligent ignorance of possible suspects. Like burying your head in the sand. People who scream out (as if they are sure) that Stuxnet could not have been involved are enablers of coverups. To Agentbluescreen:Please! Why are you trying to shut down this discussion - dismissing Stuxnet (a massive project) as "silly"? That is about the most dismissive thing you could say about a weapon of mass destruction that was built and directed to the Iranian nuclear facility. Silly? No. YOU are the silly one. You will spin all your rationalizations for days because for some reason, you just can't even comprehend that they might have done this with Stuxnet. Because maybe you think that would be TOO evil to contemplate. Well, contemplate Chairman Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot, Hitler, Afghanistan, 1.5million dead Iraqis, and now Libya. They are perfectly capable of using Stuxnet to take down a few nuclear plants, and if people are killed, well - that's the thing about the ends justifying the means, death - in the hundreds, or in the millions, is their primary objective.

Sorry - Mike is off his rocker LOL
They should have never been built there and no fission reactor should ever be built anywhere on this planet above-ground!
Actually, if you are going to go down that track I would think that underground fission reactors sound horrifying. If you had a meltdown and you buried the underground reactor you wouldn't be able to monitor the core. You could end up with a bubbling nuclear volcano reacting to the elements around it and eventually venting out into the atmosphere.

you cannot make this shit up...(BTW...they are going to only talk about israel on this one ignoring the fact that this is a NATO operation): Israeli Security Firm in Charge at Japanese Nuke Facilities Prior to Disasterhttp://theuglytruth.wordpress.com/2011/03/18/israeli-security-firm-in-charge-at-japanese-nuke-facilities-prior-to-disaster/Posted: March 18, 2011 by crescentandcross in Uncategorized Ed note–to all those who scoffed at my questioning whether or not the present nuclear meltdown taking place at Japan’s nuke facility might have been part of an Israeli intel operation aimed at demonstrating the power of Israel’s stuxnet computer virus, Haaretz is now reporting that it was the Israeli security firm Magna that was providing security for the plant prior to the incident. Israeli firm which secured Japan nuclear plant says workers there ‘putting their lives on the line’Source–Haaretz Magna CEO says Japanese workers at nuclear plant ‘projecting business as usual’ but says it is ‘unclear if they are healthy due to the high level of radiation at the reactor, which is life-threatening.’ The CEO of the Israeli company that installed the security system at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant said Thursday that those workers who have elected to stay behind are “putting their lives on the line” to save Japan. Magna BSP set up the security system about a year ago at the facility, which suffered extensive damage after the recent earthquake and tsunami, with particular concern over radiation leakage from the reactors at the site. The system includes cameras and a warning system, enabling the facility’s security staff to monitor anyone attempting to trespass onto the site or damage the perimeter fence. The security system was designed to guard the plant against any hostile elements seeking to seize radioactive material to use in a terrorist attack. Among the 50 Japanese workers who have remained at Fukushima amid the unfolding crisis, in an effort to bring the facility under control, are two individuals who were in Israel about three weeks ago, where they underwent training to transfer the operation of the security system to the Japanese themselves. “We still haven’t been able to make contact with them, either by phone or e-mail,” Magna CEO Haim Siboni said yesterday. “We know they’re alive, but it’s not clear if they are healthy due to the high level of radiation at the reactor, which is life-threatening.” “The Japanese workers who have remained at the reactor are really putting their lives on the line, with the knowledge that they’re doing it to save all of Japan,” he added. Although there is no access to the area, Siboni said the cameras from his company’s security system – which were installed high up – were probably not damaged and likely captured the post-earthquake explosions at the site, as well as the impact of the tsunami. Magna BSP was established by Siboni about 10 years ago and is owned by several partners. Based in Dimona, the firm employs 15 people, a number which Siboni expects to expand dramatically in light of additional orders Magna has received from Japan and interest shown by the operators of nuclear reactors in other countries. Its operations in Japan are conducted through a Japanese government firm. “We have an agreement in principle with the Japanese that we will provide protection for all of the country’s nuclear reactors,” Siboni said. Magna had planned to send additional security equipment to Japan next week. The Japanese have not asked that the shipment be halted, Siboni said, adding: “They are projecting business as usual.” And this from the Jerusalem Post– Israeli firm’s cameras recording Japanese nuclear coreBy YAAKOV LAPPIN 03/15/2011 01:43 Security cameras installed by Israeli defense company at Fukushima plant have ability to detect presence of radioactive clouds in air. As the world continues to gaze with concern at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant, hi-tech security cameras installed by an Israeli defense firm are recording events at the troubled core from an insider’s vantage point. The Arava-based Magna BSP company, which specializes in producing and installing stereoscopic sensory and thermal imaging cameras, had been contracted to place cameras around one of the plant’s six cores – the core that has been experiencing explosions and overheating. Speaking to The Jerusalem Post on Monday, Magna’s head, Haim Siboni, said the thermal cameras also had the ability to detect the presence of radioactive clouds in the air, but added that Magna had not been able to gain access to the images recorded by the cameras at this time. “Because we are using these special cameras, we can also identify radioactive clouds, due to the spectrum that our cameras can sense,” Siboni said. Although Magna is able to gain remote access to its computer system, which receives the cameras’ images, Siboni said his company had not yet been authorized to do so. “We have not been allowed to take control remotely yet,” Siboni said. Magna has been asked to secure a second core at the Fukushima plant in the near future.

To the average Joe, this disaster was prefectly within the norm. MSM.. Earthquakes hits Japan, tital wave follows, nuclear reactors suffered severe damage. 911, terrorists hyjack aircraft, striking world trade center, wtc implodes. On and on we could go. It seems perfectly logical that Japans reactors were damaged, afterall mother nature was on the rampage. it fits like a hand in a glove. 911, on screen, jet hit WTC, WTC goes down...This too, hand in glove factor. I'm getting there be patient. Given the proven capacity of STUXNET why disallow the possabiltiy the NWO crew were not involved. Agent, just my take but I would put NOTHING past these rats..How many catastophies have occured in the past decade that we know were a direct hit manafactured by these would be demigods. If these oppinions were not discussed we would not be investigating, lets simply keep on this.

Operating a nuclear reactor isn't like starting your car from a cell phone.
The basics of nuclear power generation as well as throttling methods are pretty well known here. The understanding that these old and pretty much outmoded MkI units require a lot of water to cool is also well known, since the water change required is enough to fill 70% of an Olympic size swimming pool, but this is all beside the point. What isn't known is whether or not the shutdown sequence actually commenced when it was initiated, or if it was initiated. How much of this operation is computer controlled... is confirmation of sequence initiation attained by computer only... or is there a non computer operated system of visual or manual confirmation available and routinely checked as well... A view of the satellite photos shows debris from the explosion, yet little damage in the area around the main facility from the tsunami, and none to the power line towers... So... are questions about a possible sabotage, a target of opportunity for STUXNET in the minutes after the quake out of the question given our understanding of the nihilist mindset we are dealing with... considering the arsenal of computer, weather, and tectonic weapons we know to be in the globalist quiver...? JTCoyoté "Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day. But a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers [administrations], too plainly proves a deliberate systematic plan of reducing us to slavery.'' ~Thomas Jefferson
