Frequent candidate for President Ralph Nader is back on the scene and proves, at the very least, he is consistent with his viewpoint. Arguing that President George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were war criminals and then claiming that the Obama administration continues to engage in the same activity, Nader made the logical deduction that President Obama must also be a war criminal who should be impeached.

Nader’s critical views of Obama’s foreign policy:

“Barack Obama is committing the same crimes [as Bush and Cheney], in fact worse ones in Afghanistan. Innocents are being slaughtered, we’re creating more enemies, he’s violating international law, he’s not constitutionally authorized to do what he’s doing, he’s using State secrets, he’s engaging in illegal surveillance, the CIA is running wild without any kind of circumsribed legal standards or disclosure . . . why don’t we say what’s on the minds of many legal experts; that the Obama administration is committing war crimes and if Bush should have been impeached, Obama should be impeached.”

Dennis Kucinich: Obama's Libya Attack An Impeachable Offense

A number of Democratic and Republican lawmakers are concerned about the White House's air assault on Libya, but Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) raised the rhetoric to 11 on Monday, suggesting President Obama should be impeached.

"President Obama moved forward without Congress approving. He didn't have Congressional authorization, he has gone against the Constitution, and that's got to be said," Kucinich said in an interview with Raw Story. "It's not even disputable, this isn't even a close question. Such an action -- that involves putting America's service men and women into harm's way, whether they're in the Air Force or the Navy -- is a grave decision that cannot be made by the president alone."

According to Kucinich, Obama's decision "would appear on its face to be an impeachable offense," though he questioned whether Congress would ever move forward with a trial in practice.

As it turns out, Gaddafi hasn't done enough to justify humanitarian intervention—despite their rhetoric to the contrary, the administration and human rights organizations admit that reports of potential war crimes remain unconfirmed. Instead, interviews with senior administration officials show that the rehabilitators convinced Obama to go to war not just to prevent atrocities Gaddafi might (or might not) commit but also to bolster America's ability to intervene elsewhere in the future.

Wars Should Be Declared by Congress, Not Merely Launched by Presidents

Yet, now the headline on CNN reads “Libya War.”

And anyone who takes the Constitution seriously should have a problem with the fact that, once again, the United States is involved in a war that has neither been debated nor declared by the Congress of the United States.

The penchant of presidents of embark upon military adventures without consulting Congress is now so pronounced that it is barely noted anymore that the Constitution says “Congress shall have power to…declare War.”

Dem Congressman: "We're In Libya Because Of Oil"

"We're in Libya because of oil. And I think both Japan and the nuclear technology and this dependence we have on imported oil have both once again highlighted the need for the United States to have a renewable energy agenda going forward," Rep. Ed Markey (D-MA) said on MSNBC.

At the very least hold Obama up to the same respect as George W. Bush. Because Bush at least had to lie to us. He had to convince us to go to war in Iraq.

Obama took a vacation to the southern hemisphere to ride out the storm then committed a war with out the consent of the governed at all.  Bush didn't take it that far. He at least lied to our face on TV.

This is definitely a "High Crime" against the US Constitution and certainly not a misdemeanor. The Criminal Obama bin Soetoro has criminally murdered hundreds if not thousands of innocent Libyans.

There are hundreds and hundreds of unenforced UN General Assembly and Security Council Resolutions that the Likudnik Regime of the Palestinian colony of Likudnik Israel is 100% guilty of being in open, international criminal defiance of, yet the western Likudnik fascist white racist AshkeNAZI skinhead dictatorships only enforce this one against the Libyan government.

He has been given no authority to commit these mass murders. He continues to defy the Constitution of the US operating the illegal ZIONAZI Concentration Camps in Guantanamo

He continues to aid and abet counterfeiting by the Federal Reserve Corporation, war criminal invasions and occupation operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

He has defended criminal al CIAduh criminal operations in our Embassies in Pakistan

He continues to cover up the criminal mass murder of thousands of Americans by US Likudnik criminals on 9/11.

He is a traitor to America, Freedom and Liberty and deserves little more than a hangmans hood

Can you imagine if the military refused his orders, because they are illegal on the basis that congress didn't get to vote on it? I think we would finally see the true Maobama if that happened. But our military isn't trained to question orders, merely follow them. It would take a heinous display of tyranny against Americans for them to see the light.

The resistance starts here. Unfortunately, the entire thing is moving beyond the intellectual infowar. I vow I will not make an overt rush at violent authority, until authority makes it's violent rush at me and you. I will not falter, I will not die in this course. For that is how they win.

Dec. 20, 2007, quote from then-Sen. Barack Obama arguing, “the president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”

2-4 years from now, Nadar will be saying "the next guy in office" should be impeached for committing war crimes. Nadar is always talking but rarely takes action.
