For those with experience or knowledge of using silver for health purposes I would be interested to know what a reliable route is for silver production. Is there a quality "device" out there or is it best to build one on your own. My dog says thanks

Tell your dog Howdy -

I have my own that I have built. There are plans for them on the net and of course there are many that are sold online. Very easy to build, nothing really difficult. I've enhanced mine - very easy to do. Purchasing is quick and easy.

I'd imagine that many here have them and will recommend one to you.

this thread was on page 9 or something, however since it is about colloidal silver, wanted to share what people told me:

two vitamin shop managers (different chains) told me they commonly use colloidal silver!
one woman said she uses the herbal throat spray that has some silver in it and it keeps her safe during flu season at work!
the other i talked to said she uses the 500ppm kind to treat sores, skin tags, ulcers, etc.

i am trying it this week for an apthous mouth ulcer which can be hormonally related and quite painful.

maybe diabetics should use this.

i hope colloidal gold offers some benefit someday to people with spinal and nerve damage.

these things are almost magical and who knows, maybe the philospher's stone = colloids? they are golden and red when in liquid form, did you know?

hehe enjoy!  Smiley

I do not recommend it. Colloidal metals are so small that the body cannot regulate their movements in and out of cells. This is probably why colloidal silver toxicity appears to be irreversible, when people have so much that their skin turns blue. This is the same with other nano-technologies. In addition, colloidal silver acts pretty much as a pesticide/bacteriocide. There is no way of knowing whether it equally harms other cells and probiotics. This is particularly worrisome given that the body finds it difficult to transport nano-particles, these being exotic particles not normally found in the environment.

Possibly use topically for emergencies, but I am very much against ingestion. Breathing it into the lungs could be even more dangerous because it goes straight into the blood supply and the body has no method of regulating absorption there.

i was under the impression that a colloidal suspension was very different than an ionic salt, but i could be wrong.

was also surprised about the woman recommending the 500ppm, as it could cause a yeast infection.
women should use (you will laugh now LOL) a garlic suppository in gauze (3rd world magic) to prevent this.

amazing what garlic can do, much better than a vampire deterrent, it is a product that removes the need to rely on harmful vinegar douches.

how is that for rambling?

anyhow there is something to what you say and silver should never be taken without a PROBIOTIC SUPPLEMENT and careful watchfulness of bowel and vaginal yeast (lulz).

have a great day with those visuals    Cry Shocked

The difference with colloidal is that it is a nano-particle. Something that we humans have not developed to deal with. Silver coins used to be put in water to keep them fresh, but the silver particles coming off that would have been larger and the body would have been able to recognize and manage them. Things develop new properties when smashed into smaller sizes, and I don't personally want to be the one who experiments with this newfangled product.

i let the real guinea pigs (store managers LOL) tell me their personal stories and waited two years before trying it..

you could be right, it may not be safe -- i'll let ya know if i die   Grin

there'll be one more zombie out there

I doubt you will die. My issue is, that a heavy metal supplement should have a molecule size larger than nano, so that cells can regulate where the silver goes. If cells reject non-nano silver, then maybe it shouldn't be there!
