I was told today that we might not get paid April 1st due to congress! I am in the Us Coastguard we need money to pay our bills millions of Military members have direct deposits etc that are due. I think this is a plan to put the world in a deeper crisis in the middle of the japan crisis , people wont want to do their job in the military if their families are being affected by not being paid! anyone's thoughts?

For a minute, when I saw April 1st in the subject header, I thought someone was trying to pull an April Fool's joke. Haven't heard anything, however, if indeed this is true, alot of people, when they initially hear they won't get paid, will PROBABLY THINK it's some April Fool's joke being pulled on them. However, again(assuming this will happen), once they find out later they really won't get paid...maybe the NWO is using this very day to incite riots? *shrugs* Maybe this April 1st Fool's joke was being conditioned on us for all these years? I pray everything goes OK with you.

I feel so absolutely terrible hearing this. I would want paid for what I do. The TPTB have got us by the crotch hairs. Yet they will bark there orders to you and your fellows soldiers. Tough spot to be in man God bless you oh by the way thank you for your service.
However I heard that military personnel would get paid regardless. It makes sense cause I do not think they what an angry military to turn on them Good luck

Well don't worry, you'll be out bombing brown people in Libya. How can they get away with this?

I think grape meant this: Key Dates in Coast Guard History 1790: Revenue-Marine (later renamed Revenue Cutter Service) created within the Treasury Department 1915: Revenue Cutter Service combines with the U.S. Lifesaving Service (est. 1848) to create the Coast Guard 1939: U.S. Lighthouse Service (est. 1789) added 1946: Steamboat Inspection Service (est. 1838) added 1967: Coast Guard transferred to Department of Transportation 2003: Coast Guard transferred to Department of Homeland Security http://www.uscg.mil/top/missions/

Yah, sadly the CG has been stasified. In honor of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy in 2001, the keel of Waesche (WMSL 751) was certified on Sept. 11, 2006 by Rear Adm. Gary T. Blore, Assistant Commandant for U.S. Coast Guard Acquisitions National Security Cutters... what a joke!

Good one. They will not not pay the military. This is the same kind of BS they pull with shutting down the Federal government for lack of funds. They don't have the funds to keep going but they keep going anyway.
