To me, the empty modern art shows the inside vapidness of psychopathic souls... Empathy, feelings of any kind seem non-existent. But, to each his own!
What is beautiful to them, is ugly to us, and vice-versa. Of course they are saying what they are doing via globalization is "good" for us... they really mean it. However, what they mean, in our terms, is that it is "bad" for us..

Automaticman, Excellent videos!!! I agree with the author completely. The world of art is something we miss including in the arena of the NWO, who wish to steal:

I use Flashgot (add-on) in firefox for YT and most other sites video. It saves them as flash (.flv) files, a good player is included in the k lite codec pack. IMHO anything worth watching thats controversial is worth saving as it can be converted (DVD format) and/or burned to disk for sharing. |

Clement Greenberg was an influential American art critic closely associated with Modern art in the United States
In 1940, after various jobs, Greenberg joined Partisan Review as an editor. He became art critic for the Nation in 1942. He was associate editor of Commentary from 1945 until 1957.
In December 1950, he joined the CIA-fronted American Committee for Cultural Freedom. Greenberg believed Modernism provided a critical commentary on experience. It was constantly changing to adapt to kitsch pseudo-culture, which was itself always developing. In the years after World War II, Greenberg pushed the position that the best avant-garde artists were emerging in America rather than Europe. Particularly, he championed Jackson Pollock as the greatest painter of his generation, commemorating the artist's "all-over" gestural canvases. In the 1955 essay "American-Type Painting" Greenberg promoted the work of Abstract Expressionists, among them Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Hans Hofmann, Barnett Newman, and Clyfford Still, as the next stage in Modernist art, arguing that these painters were moving towards greater emphasis on the 'flatness' of the picture plane.

Harold Rosenberg was an American writer, educator, philosopher and art critic.
Rosenberg was born in Brooklyn, educated at City College of New York and received a law degree from St. Lawrence College in 1927. Later, he often said he was "educated on the steps of the New York Public Library." From 1938 to 1942 he was art editor for the American Guide Series produced by the Works Progress Administration. Later he was deputy chief of domestic radio in the Office of War Information and a consult for the Treasury Department and the Advertising Council of America. Later, he was professor of social thought in the art department of the University of Chicago.
Rosenberg is best known for his art criticism. Beginning in the early 1960s he became art Critic for the New Yorker magazine. His books on art theory include The Tradition of the New (1959), The Anxious Object (1964), Art Work and Packages, Art and the Actor and The De-Definition of Art. He also wrote monographs on Willem de Kooning, Saul Steinberg, and Arshile Gorky.
A Marxian cultural critic, Rosenberg's books and essays probed the ways in which evolving trends in painting, literature, politics, and popular culture disguised hidden agendas or mere hollowness.

Beauty is entirely subjective. Some may find beauty in the most disparate imagery , the most "ugly" scene , even the most bleak and empty lot can move ones soul.
IMO , art attempts to describe several things about the human condition, and since perception is entirely subjective , and each human is different, who can say what constitutes art or beauty?

Good artists always knew what they were doing and why, while the rest of the population watched and criticized. Bad artists always tried to shocked but lack substance to support their statement.
Beethoven op.133 was ignored for over a century before even being considered as art and now it is understood as a complete masterpiece. Do you imagine the tv-watching uneducated zombies of todays world would take less time to get it?

I did not watch the videos (of course) I just read the title and the few posts. even if the artist says something is "ugly" that still only counts as his opinion. like when you listen to a song or the verse of some poem , it may mean something totally different to the person who wrote or composed it. As far as I'm concerned the artist's intentions are useless once the art is made because it lives now on it's own merit. |

Beauty is a universal truth allowing mere mortals to sense divinity from this world in which we exist.
How can anything "destroy" a concept like subjective beauty? ....it's subjective , there might symetry to please but some people prefer non linear angular things as pleasing. |
