I heard AJ mention on the show the other day that he(Alex) made the suggestion that Charlie create a Twitter account, but came across this bit of info on the TMZ Website where Charlie(allegedly) says it's a "cash cow." and that "his primary motivation behind the new ramblings is that he can score a fortune through advertising."

All as quoted by TMZ.

I believe Alex said that TMZ had/has been the main outlet for his access to the public(maybe not so much anymore).  Whether it's true or not I don't really care.  I just found it interesting based on what I heard on the show.

On a side note, after listening to the Sheen video posted above I'm of the opinion that he's lost touch with reality.

If any other person(famous or not) put a video up like that would most people think any different?  Add to that when I was listening to his interview with AJ it appeared to me AJ could barely keep up with the damage control with the things Sheen was saying(which ironically sound no different than the video link above).

That said I can think of no other reason for his behavior than he has either lost touch a bit with reality or he's putting on a show for the public.

I just hope it's not a permanent side effect of his addiction issues.  Some drugs out there can mess you up long term.  If it's all a show?  Well, that's on him.

Now, the Charlie Sheen who made 20 Minutes with the President.  That sounded like a genuine person.
