after i did some digging around I found out it is not as rare as they would like you to believe. This has been happening between like August and April in many countries. Just put in a two suns at youtube and you will get quite a few. Although most of the TV stations say it's rare, and they don't know all the reasons for it to happen. It's not as rare as you think. Whats really interesting is the fact it can happen in two or three areas of the world at the same time, or days close together. So smog does not mean you will have it in your area. Other forces are at work here.

Should there ever be two suns, there would be a distinct shortage of night to go along with them. Obviously there are other reasons for such optical illusions
