Many probably did not see this amazing speech as Hosni Mubarak's speech took place at the same time.  But you must see this.  Rand Paul for President!

I absolutely agree with Rand on such things as abolishing the Department of Deliberate Dumbing Down "Education" and reducing the war budget, but strongly disagree with him on cutting the social safety net at the very time it's needed most.

I, for one, am unconditionally opposed to austerity fascism -- even when it's been wrapped in the American flag or in the flag of "liberty."

Austerity fascism is a death trap. Ron Paul often includes rhetoric to show he knows about this pitfall. There is no doubt about it...austerity measures during a recession will actually cause genocide. This is a historical fact and most NWO economists brag about doing similar things to control third world nations forever by never allowing them to be more productive than the interest payments on the debt. Austerity cuts productivity, creativity, domestic (family) security, basic trust in government, morale of the citizenry, etc. It is the Club of Rome's method to manufacture debt slavery and makes a country ripe for regime change.

This is one of the main issues where I disagree with Rand Paul and Libertarians in general.

What's sad is that Rand is going off of CSIS talking points of making Social Security the whipping boy for our economic ills. (Lookup: The National Commission on Retirement Policy on csis.org using the Wayback Machine at archive.org and click on the 1997 and 1998 results.)

Now his father Ron, on the other hand, has said multiple times that he wants to phase out SS, so people who are dependent on it, will remain on it while the younger generations will go the "private" route.

I like Ron's version of "private" which means I invest my money in silver, gold, stocks, properties, or whatever I want.  I despise the phony libertarian (CSIS/Reason/CATO/Heritage) "privatization" where a "private" corporation like Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan runs Social Security.  At least the "state" gives you peanuts of $800/month, while the banksters will give you $100/month if you say pretty please with a sugar and cherry on top.

"Privatization" is not a bed of roses, and it has multiple meanings like the dictionary definition of liberalism.

I agree.

All government IS "socialism"!

What CSIS and the corrupt neocons want is socialism for the rich and "capitalist"-fascism for the poor and workers.

What liberty and the constitution are about is the "social special-interest society" of WE -ALL THE PEOPLE, not we, the garden party tyranny of fortunate elite nobles!

I look at the "senators" and I too, pray for The People...

Unless they smarten up, and get that sword out of their stones, Rand (and to a lesser extent his dad) are just wolves in hand-me-down lion suits.

They don't have the guts to stand for all that they pretend to mean, and el Trumpo is right; that even if they tried staying the same, or tossing down the gauntlet by doing the right thing, they most likely will never 'win' in the mafia-rat-race greed corruption-circus of cancers that has metastasized into the anti-democratic, polluted-brain, violent, childish, fascist tyranny that now passes for what once was "America" the "New World" of Libertarian political "Order".

All government and 'democracy' IS socialism, it's always the question of just who's "little pet society" it is that are running it for just who's (sole) benefit?

The evidence does not support your accusation. But if you are going by the logic of not using evidence then you may have a point. But that point likely will be seen as accusing someone of being a wolf without any evidence. That does seem to be what you are attempting to do I guess.

Quote
They don't have the guts to stand for all that they pretend to mean,
Well that is very odd because Rand actually recently went against funding Israel, something which is not out of the CSIS playbook and his father has burned that playbook decades ago.

Quote
and el Trumpo is right;
If he is, it would be the first time in his pathetic loser history filled with bankrupcies and failures.

Quote

Very odd on the one hand you accuse them of being wolves and on the other hand you say they cannot win because they are not wolves. Very odd form of logic you are using.

Quote
All government and 'democracy' IS socialism,
A constitutional republic is not socialism. All anarchy is socialism (or rather...feudalism), only a loose framework of government protection of individual civil liberties will protect against socialized enslavement through feudalist psychos. And of course I am using what I think is your odd definition of socialism which may be quite different than how Webster Tarpley, Michael Parenti, Peter Dale Scott, Bernie Sanders, John Pilger or Dennis Kucinich defines socialism.

Quote
it's always the question of just who's "little pet society" it is that are running it for just who's (sole) benefit?
That form of apathy is exactly what the Club of Rome wants to propogate as you seem hell bent on doing on this forum. Ron Paul demonstrates what a constitutional republic is and how it works. He ain't any savior, he is just a communicator. It is up to 300 million Americans to defend the government from trilateral violent terrorists who are a clear and present danger to national security. I cannot for the life of me understand how all the alphabet agencies continue to obstruct justice in the most simplest of investigations into Kissinger's CSIS' documented coup d'etat plans.

A government having laws on murder, rape, fraud, domestic violence, protecting gun rights, and abortion are not "socialism".  They are on the books to protect individual freedom.

You fell for the socialist/anarchist false paradigm on that one.  It's okay, it's a common mistake made by a lot of anti-NWO activists/researchers.  You'll get better when you go into it further.  None of us are perfect.  We need stop looking at two-dimensional opposames, and start taking a few steps back and looking at the whole plane of ideas from an objective stance.

Both speeches were excellent.

It's amazing, too, how Rand's voice is almost identical to that of his pops. (or pops in earlier days)

And instantly, because one of the media darlings didn't win, the poll will become not important, where it had been touted for weeks. But watch this watch itneverhappened.

I can't even imagine what those media darlings spoke about in their own "speeches". Must be tough to write a 15 minute speech about nothing!

Edit - Here it is! (thanks Big Ron)

And the winner is...  (with much prefacing that this is not a scientific poll so they don't make Ron Paul look too good)
