Alex mentioned something about Fema jamming cell phone during Katrina but I can't find any articles on this. Does anyone have any news articles related to this?

I haven't looked at them all but from what I've seen there isn't anything declassified or testimonies?? Just going from what Wayne Madison observed and the fact that they had the technology?

He talks about FEMA and lack of communications and how Blackwater mercenaries were sent in who were supposed to be "communications experts"! He wasn't impressed with Fema's response, or lack thereof, whatsoever! FEMA staged photo ops for tv, then were smucks and unresponsive after the cameras went off! Remember the Bush "brownie, you did. Good job?" A photo op. Brownie was a total failure in reality just like FEMA in total!
Quite the story from someone who lived the hell of Katrina!

I don't think they used them in Katrina. It was just the fact that all land lines were down and the cell towers became overloaded. Text and data worked fine though.
