Not sure when it's being released but the new DSM-5 ( diagnostic and statistical manual) in Psychology will now have internet addiction added to its disorders.

I'm "addicted" to the internet, but I don't need their damn "treatment".

If one truly reads the DSM-V, it is found that every human behavior is considered sick and needing treatment (drugs of course).

I don't agree with the treatment either as a Psychologist myself (Bachelor of arts) I really don't agree with the amount of drugs out there for treatment. In the DSM-4 there is a very interesting note showing that for unknown reasons people with schizophrenia have a higher rate of recovery in poorer nations.
There is a large amount of non drug treatments for disorders but most don't know about them, or there are dismissed as completely crazy. I did an interesting presentation on the differences of treatments looking at mental health & cultural differences and it was astonishing how the Western doctors completely dismiss all indigenous explanations and treatments even though they worked for those with the disorders.

All western doctors give a shit about is $$$$$.

There's no $$$$$ in indigenous treatments, but there is plenty of $$$$$ in Big Pharma patented/marketed drugs.

Need to pay for that student loan debt and need to pay for that McMansion and BMW, Ferrari, and a wife with silicone implants and tanned leather skin.  She needs some more sweatshop made clothes, Debeers diamonds, and a new whip so the neighbor won't get in her pants next because the doc didn't treat her right.

That's my disdain for Snobsdale, AZ talking right there, more of like a local joke.

The DSM is a propaganda tool designed by 'experts' comprised of Medical sellouts, pharma and insurance companies.

We're moving to a 'new' "Normal" in this society as it becomes more and more apparent that psychopaths are running the show. They MUST redefine "normal" to fit their new paradigm for a totalitarian system where people are fully tracked, monitored, enslaved. Pathologizing the crap out of everyone; then writing it up in easy-to-follow "indicators" in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (the Psychiatrists & Psychologists reference guide for the new normal) is standard operating procedure in a society where the rules have changed, and psychopathic/sociopathic behavior is encouraged.

"Torture" has become "Enhanced Interrogation" so now it's "normal".
"Vouyeurism" and "illegal wiretapping" wrapped up as "national security" makes it "normal".
Watching congress and the supreme court bend over and kiss off the citizens of this country has become "normal".
Seeing the banks continuing to squeeze the sh*t out of people is "normal.

Free speech, when it's not supportive of the psychopathic agenda is abnormal.
Supporting the constitution is abnormal.
Wanting to have 911 investigated (since it hasn't been done yet) is abnormal.
Questioning why we can't see Obama's birth certificate is abnormal.
Refusing to consume fluoride is abnormal.
Refusing to take untested, unproven, potentially lethal vaccines is abnormal.
Refusing to eat GMO foods is abnormal.
Refusing to accept the lies told by mainstream media is abnormal.
Etc., ad infinitum.

So I guess we should all be considered abnormal - because the new normal looks a lot like 'crazy' to me.

Add "internet addiction" - although the Powers-that-Be are encouraging everyone to Twitter and Facebook their entire lives for the sake of the control grid database. And that's normal?

Also, do you think they'll differentiate between the various types of Internet activity? There's a big difference between chatting and playing and researching and learning.
