Secret knowledge and the fact that they've kept it secret is why we remain slaves of ignorance. Knowledge itself is not evil or bad it is how it's used , the problem is too many people think "secret knowledge" had some evil connotation , when really knowledge has no bias one way or the other.
I don't care what PJ's real name is , he is not the message.
well where did the knowledge come from ?

Knowledge comes from the lineage of our humanity. The fact is it is repressed by those who have it so they stay in power. They keep it from us so we remain ignorant and enslaved. There is nothing secret about what Zeitgeist offers (which is a perspective) , it's common human knowledge without the blinders from corporations, religions and governments. This is why it should come with some bit of suspicion that ANY BOOK would be mass produced for popular digestion that should contain ABSOLUTE INFALLABLE TRUTH. The fact is powerful people do not allow mass dissemination of truth , it must be sought because it is hidden.

sorry sport your just a trouble maker. it wasn't an honest question at all. No, it wasn't, as this notion is at the root of why we are here on Prison Planet Forum, but you'd think he'd know that already. It isn't just a 'moneyless society' that is the problem it is how and why 'they' want one. Talk about pretending to be green. Do you even read the articles posted on this site or are you just here to bring up religion? Seriously, even the Christians mosey out of the bible thumping area.

So wait, whats so wrong about the whole idea of having a moneyless society? Isnt heaven a moneyless society??? In heaven, people don't have the biological "needs" they do here, so they don't starve to death if they have no access to food, nor freeze to death if they have no access to clothing or shelter. In heaven, there's no shortage of desirable living space, and hence no competition for access to any given location, and hence no need for land titles. In short, there's no scarcity in heaven, nor is there vulnerability to either sickness or injury. So to say you're comparing apples and oranges would be a gross understatement.

Ok so could a moneyless society work? Im openminded about this. I just want intellectual discussion. Would it even be possible to make such a system work?

The only way for you to find out for sure is to gather your many friends and try amongst yourselves then report back to us what you learned. I will eagerly await the outcome as this could get interesting.

moneyless is possible, but not in a worldwide market like today. people would live in small tribes that lived off the land. they would trade with other tribes n such, but nobody more than 5 miles away. basically we would live like savages. probably very much like the type of people the holy roman empire attempted to exterminate.
i don't think the civilized man's system is corrupt, as much as the people that are running it are. it's just a tool like everything else, it all depends how you wield the steel. but ultimately the system puts alot of power in the hands of few men, which will invariably lead to collapse.
i guess it's alot like cowboys and indians, both are cool, and both have their drawbacks. guess it's a pick your poison type of thing.

I watched the leaked version online, I didn't really like it past the first 40 minutes. The solutions they present in the video for the worlds problems are inaplicable to humanity in its current state of development, we need probably another 100 - 150 years of mental growth to be able to accept the principles in the video. A resource based economy presents too many challenges, it can not be effectively put into effect around the globe.... there are too many problems to solve before we can get to that state.
People are greedy, you will always have people trying to cheat the system, and this kind of economic system can not accommodate for such greed and waste, it would fall apart.
The rest of the video sounds a little "crazy", they make be coming from a place of honesty, but I think the entire zeitgeist ideology is a little too far out there.
Don't get me wrong, I would love for the world to work perfectly under a resource based economy, but such a system would take hundreds of years to put into effect and as such is not even worth considering until humanity is developed to the point where such a system could be widely accepted and put into use.
Now its not fair to dismiss a solution without presenting one of your own. I suggest we restructure the debt system, and I believe the following changes to our monetary system would fix a lot of the problems.
1) Outlaw currency trading and manipulation. 2) Outlaw money creation based on debt for government expenditures, make government run inflationary government issued money but with a cap of about 5% a year, the money created via inflation must be spent on public works project to improve the public wellbeing... (public facilities/services/ etc.) 3) Back the money with the ability to pay taxes with it, then control the scarcity.... 4) Outlaw interest for private loans exceeding 4% of principal. 5) Restore property rights, allow people to keep what they earn, if man works his entire life to buy land, he should not be taxed on it.... 6) Government TAX Revenue Should come in the form of:
Road/Sidewalk Taxes/Licensing Fees/ a Flat Tax on everyone that is optional... IE: It is required by everyone that would not unjustly be harmed by paying it... if you can afford to pay it... than you must, if it would add unreasonable burden you should not be forced to pay it. 7) There must be only 5 NATIONAL BANKS, and they must be run (NON FOR PROFIT) by the government, the loans they issue will be taken from DEPOSITS. The bank will be PROHIBITED from lending its CREDIT or LIABILITY, this will prevent Inflation through lending.
8 .) Outlaw banks from issuing and using their own liabilities as MONEY between the Bank and the Public, with the exceptions of checking instruments to allow for transfer of bank deposits (NOT LIABILITIES). 9) Outlaw a bank from lending money at interest above 4% (INTEREST CAP) ( the interest must be kept low, and the new money required to pay interest on loans will come from inflationary spending of the government...) amount of unrealized interest earnings must always be kept lower than the levels of inflationary spending from the government. 10) Outlaw bail-outs, force banks to make calculated and careful loans. 11) Since the banks are running (non-for profit) the interest collected on loans will be used to pay employee expenses and any excess will be held in reserves for emergency public use.
I think the system outlined is not perfect but it could be easily substituted in when the current system collapses.
The reason i would outlaw speculation and currency trading is that, with the age of computers.... a computer could sit there and make exchanges of currency shaving off pennys of every dollar exchanged... sucking the money out of the system... causing money shortages and spikes in values of specific currencies that have a high trade volume. Money must NEVER BE TREATED AS A COMMODITY, it must be treated as counting beans AND NOTHING ELSE.... Trading money for money to make a profit is what allows the worlds richest people to manipulate and rape nations of their wealth...
CURRENCY MUST NEVER BE A COMMODITY.
To put this currency into effect I would suggest that the current Dollar be traded into the system (outlaw the dollar and make the new currency legal tender) just as we have a tax bracket the conversion should be taxed as follows.... to essentially have a "hard reset" on the currency.
Trade in of : 1 Billion Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 70% Tax 500 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 55% Tax 100 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 45% Tax 50 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 35% Tax 25 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 30% Tax 15 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 25% Tax 10 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 25% Tax 5 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 15% Tax 1 Million Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 15% Tax 750 thousand Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 10% Tax 500 thousand Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 8% Tax 250 thousand Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 5% Tax 100 thousand Dollars FRN USD will be exchanged with a 2% Tax Under 100 thousand Dollar for Dollar no tax

If we ever get on a system that is an exact mirror of the current system but without "cash", (Personal RFID MONEY)... that will be the day that humanity has lost its last shred of freedom, every single human being on the globe except the top 1% will instantly be converted to slaves, that kind of system has to be avoided at all costs, even our lives.

The problem here is, people who are critisizing The Venus Project and a Resource Based Economy didn't understood what it's all about to begin with (the comment above this is another example). Most of the critiques smell like trolling. You just have to browse those videos on Youtube, filled with out-of-context claims against Peter Joseph and others. So sad to see. It's a psychological airbag. They cannot fathom such a different way of thinking that their alternative is to condemn it because it's deemed not safe by their own way of thinking.
The impression I get from Alex Jones and their followers on here, is that they think things are going to change if Ron Paul gets elected next year. This seems like the main picture. I also get the impression that most of the hate towards the film is because their religion are questioned on the first film, when is the most irrelevant thing. Who cares? If your God exsist or not is not going to change how effective resources are distributed on earth.
Finally, I think all this linking of "Illuminati" stuff with the films is to bring negative press towards it. If all the problems were solved, what would Alex Jones do for a living? He needs the problems, and you are buying into it. Listening to his show is not going to change a thing. At least they, besides exposing the problems from a logical, scientific point of view, deliver a solution (RBE).
