YeeHAW - Sen. Joe Lieberman to Retire in 2012?

Politics is probably the only profession in which it is considered "shocking" to hear that men in their 60's and 70's and 80's are retiring after 30 or 40 or 50 years in the field.
I can think of no other profession than senator in which a person in their 70's gets a 6 year personal services contract.
Earlier today, I read speculation about the future of "Nixon's favorite mayor", and had to wonder why the guy's still hanging around 40 some years later.
Term limits, please? Otherwise, most officeholders will beg, borrow, cheat, lie and steal to stay in office.

Don't get too excited. It will be another establishment Democrat cuz they're already prepping their Republican clown Linda McMoron (McMahon) to run for the Republican primary.

This guy letting go of power is a serious concern. I imagine he believes that something is going to blow up and he plans to leave before that occurs. I wonder if we can keep an eye on him to see if he goes to Chile or possibly back home to Israel.
