When you really sit down and look at the statistics and the careers, it is easy to see that doctors and drug dealers share a lot in common. However, when making this short video clip, it came to my attention that drug dealers may actually be better people, making a more honest living.

It's only 10 minutes, so please watch and leave feedback:

Doctors spend an average of 11 years in Rockefeller foundation universities being mind controlled, kidney specialist 15 years (including 3 years required in hospital). Only 6% receive nutrition training. Also, 10 or more pharmaceutical reps are in offices each day.

The average tuition for the first year is $25,000. Additionally, there are fees for books, housing, meals, student fees, traveling, etc, 78% have debt over $100,000, 42% over $150,000.

Many doctors work long hours, at all times of day and night more than 60 hours a week. They have large expenses such as insurance, office space and employees.

I had interactions with over 100 physicians for more than 5 years. Yes, there are some ego driven pharmaceutical nuts that will not listen to reason. However, many care about their patients. We must admit they do save lives, they do make necessary repairs and diagnostics. It is not all about writing dangerous pharmaceuticals.

Also, only some physicians receive samples and no narcotics are sampled. In addition, not all receive goodies from pharmaceutical companies.

Sarah,

Excellent video!  And, looking at the stats that IndependentWV posted that does not surprise me one bit!

I am dealing with my father being institutionalize because he had a minor stroke...in the course of it, he has had a tracheotomy, and has been strung out on psychotropic drugs, along with being pumped full of antibiotics because while he was in their care he received bed sores.  They keep on trying to convince my mother that he needs to be placed on a permanent feeding tube because since he has been immobile he is aspirating his food.  It just makes me sick the way they treat the elderly in this country!!!!

But I digress!

Hate to hear about your father, my mother had to have a permanent feeding tube do to ALS symptoms she had lost 30 lbs. The good news, I was able to give her natural medicine through feeding tube that was improvement! She was bed ridden and suffered bed sores. We cared for her at home with home health 3 times a week.

Doctors do not know anything else think we need to start educating them!! Dr. Wakefield is great example.

Bed sore remedies utilized:
Sugar and honey poultice will kill poison
Aloe, comfrey and wheat germ poultice overnight works
In really bad situations Lysol in spray bottle once per day works
Goldenseal/Echinacea powder sprinkled on sores work.

In my opinion, patient safety is much larger concern there are few recourse options.

Pharmaceutical (drug dealer) companies will never listen.

Thank you!  I had instructed my mother to use Manuka Honey, but the wound specialist (sic) said it was an old wives tale and they would not administer it to his wound.  For seven months he has had this bed sore--seven months, and all their so-called medicine has done nothing but make it spread!

I wished I lived closer, because I would yank him out of this facility and bring him home and apply the Manuka myself!   Angry

Tell your mother to ask the wound specialist if it is just a tale then why do nursing homes keep sugar/honey in rooms for that very purpose. Dr. after 7 months, we are going to try this.

If you can get it - plain old glycerin works wonders on all kinds of problems INCLUDING diabetic foot / leg ulcers.

Not all medications are necessary and for sure some of the prescriptions are driven by money rather than by need (in the UK they get paid per script - or, they used to. I used to have a quack who would prescribe paracetamol everytime i went in - even if it was not for pain ! (acetominophen in US) its a few pence a packet to buy or £7.00 if you get it on prescription!)

BUT there are some excellent doctors and surgeons out there. I am fortunate to have met a few.

Yeah, it's a mixed bag. Although I do think the NHS as a whole is a captive market for the pharma giants (getting both R&D and sales money from the taxpayer).

I'm glad that you liked the video, and I'm truly sorry to hear about your father. We both know that permanent care is ideal for their profit, which I am sure is behind at least some of his treatments.  I wish I could make recommendations, but your distance makes it impossible.  I can't understand people who hear about a treatment and then rush to a doctor to ask for permission to use it. Since when did they own us?

I second that, Sarah! Video as a medium doesn't work with more than a single sentence of text at a time -- at least for the masses. I'm personally a slow reader so I simply pause and take it in at my own pace, but it can turn people off. Nevertheless, your work is amazing so thank you for your efforts! Smiley

Hmmm.. was it just too fast, or do you just prefer voice-overs in general (open question)? I know how to add an audio track to it, and have a little bit of experience with voice recording due to hosting a radio show. I think I can pull it off if that's what's wanted.

Constructive critique alert (please don't beat me up!!)

It's video.  Not that the message being delivered via text is all bad, but if some voiceover was utilized, the background images/video can have more impact and add to the information instead of being... well... simply background imagery.

Personally (as in just MY opinion), and it entirely depends on what else I'm doing (since I'm always multitasking), watching a video that's all text can be difficult and a turn-off.  When I see one, my first thought is typically "Why is this a video and not just a webpage or a PDF?"  I totally expect text to convey the message of websites to visit for more info, reinforcing statistics, referencing law, bills, or papers on the subject and reinforcing certain info that needs to be cemented in the viewers' minds.

We've all seen a lot of documentaries.  Scaling that down for the brief in-depth topic-based informational videos is all I'm talking about.

It's text itself that is the culprit.

Video is about imagery, music, plot, mood, etc.

Narration/voice over is way more effective and appropriate in video than is text.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll be creating a narrated version tonight/tomorrow, and make the currently uploaded video into the deaf version. One more question:

Would you prefer a female English voice, or a deep male American voice?

Unless you're getting James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman as the deep male American voice (j/k Wink), I'm all for hearing a female English voice... something different (from my American perspective).

Honestly, I have no actual preference.  I'm sure however it's done will be fabulous Grin

Male or female, it doesn't really matter (unless you want to get super demographically technical).

PS - MonkeyPuppet, you demonstrate the true power of the people with your offer to help with the narration aspect, in your earlier post, whether Sarah needs your expertise or not. That's a perfect example of how society can evolve, voluntarily. Freedom works!

Americans tend to take a British accent more seriously when it comes to information and news. It must be our Imperial roots still haunting us. I have always been partial to a woman with a British accent.  But either accent would be good I'm sure. As long as it's not a text to speech program. Nothing can beat a real voice.

Very well made, great job.

My mom was an RN and we have family friend's who are Doctors. One in particular, back about 17 yrs ago, was the head of Family Practice at the large local hospital here. Back then I was staying in her guest house while going to school. She pulled me aside one day and said, "If their is anything I can tell you with all of my experience is never go to a doctor, whatever happens, never go to a doctor". I was stunned and remember it vividly. I will rehash the comment with her one day.

The one time I did go to a doctor about 7 years back, I had set up an appointment because I wanted my knees looked at and figured I'd have a routine check-up at the same time. When I arrived the doctor refused to look at my knees stating that he was a sports doctor at another location and wasn't allowed to do what I was explicitly there for him to do. Of course he did the check-up before he told me this. Then he diagnosed me as having "Borderline" High blood pressure and prescribed me a drug that once you start you can never go off of at risk of more detrimental consequences. Needless to say, I tossed them in the trash and never saw a doctor again. It was fraud.

I also read an interesting article last week some of you may have seen about how 1 in 17 surgeons have or have had suicidal urges. If that's how many admit to it, you know the numbers are probably higher in reality. How can you put your health in the hands of someone who has such little respect for human life in general?

Once again, great video. Thanks for the share.

Sarah, that is great.

Dr. Lindlahr estimated at least nine tenths of all surgical operations today are uncalled for. In most cases are followed by lifelong weakness and suffering.

An operation may be surgically necessary in cases of injury, such as wounds or broken bones.

That's a good question. 94% of all doctors admitting to Big Pharma kick-backs, a massive proportion of psychiatrists are self-prescribing, and most surgeons look at the human body as "parts" (not life).

Quote
Dr. Lindlahr estimated at least nine tenths of all surgical operations today are uncalled for.

I've heard similar statistics. In fact, there is a document that was prepared for Congress in the seventies that said that only 20% of all procedures had ever been proven effective.

Thanks for all of the feedback, everyone! If we get a much better response from this overall (numbers, etc) then we'll narrate The Cancer Report, too.
