TUCSON, Arizona: Police believe the gunman who shot a US congresswoman in an attack which left six dead in Tucson, Arizona did not act alone, the local sheriff said.

"There's some reason to believe that he came to this location with another individual," said Clarence Dupnik, sheriff of Pima County who is in charge of the probe into the attack on Representative Gabrielle Giffords.

Giving an update on the shooting, he said the 22-year-old man gunman, who was arrested at the scene, "has kind of a troubled past, and we're not convinced that he acted alone."

Andrea Gooden, a witness who was in an office across the street, told Fox News she heard a burst of gunshots and "immediately after that there were people racing across the parking lot."

Another witness told CNN he heard 15-20 shots and saw people running from the scene and screaming before police and fire trucks arrived around two minutes later.

Footage from the scene showed paramedics rushing stretchers to helicopters.

From what I can make out in this pic, it wasn't very near an entrance, which is usually the only outside ares stores cover.  Unfortunately, there might not be any store camera coverage on it.  I'd still like to see what they've got, though.
