Putting the Nixon tape in context
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/12/23/AR2010122304552_pf.html
By Henry A. Kissinger
Sunday, December 26, 2010;

For someone who lost in the Holocaust many members of my immediate family and a large proportion of those with whom I grew up, it is hurtful to see an out-of-context remark being taken so contrary to its intentions and to my convictions, which were profoundly shaped by these events. References to gas chambers have no place in political discourse, and I am sorry I made that remark 37 years ago.

In his Dec. 21 column, ['Beyond Kissinger's realism'], Michael Gerson used comments I made during a one-minute conversation with Richard Nixon to draw a contrast between the moral insensitivity of the so-called foreign policy realists and the broader humanistic view of their critics. As a general subject, this is beyond the scope of an op-ed comment. In this specific case, further reflection might counsel a limit to righteousness.

Context matters. Gerson presents the issue of Jewish emigration from the Soviet Union in the 1970s as if it had been an abstract debate between those who relied on a relaxation of tensions and advocates of ideological confrontation, in which the realists were willing to sacrifice Jewish emigration on the altar of detente. The opposite is true. That emigration existed at all was due to the actions of "realists" in the White House. Jewish emigration from the Soviet Union had never been put forward by any administration as a formal American position, not because of moral insensitivity but because intense crises imposed other priorities. In 1969, we introduced it into the presidential channel as a humanitarian issue because we judged that a foreign policy confrontation would lead to rejection and an increase of tensions with the Soviets. As a result, Jewish emigration rose from 700 a year in 1969 to near 40,000 in 1972. The total in Nixon's first term was more than 100,000. We also submitted, with some success, several hundred hardship cases at regular intervals. To maintain this flow by quiet diplomacy, we never used these figures for political purposes.

The issue became public because of the success of our Middle East policy when Egypt evicted Soviet advisers. To restore its relations with Cairo, the Soviet Union put a tax on Jewish emigration. There was no Jackson-Vanik Amendment until there was a successful emigration effort.

Sen. Henry Jackson, for whom I had, and continue to have, high regard, sought to remove the tax with his amendment. We thought the continuation of our previous approach of quiet diplomacy was the wiser course. But the issue became intense only when, the tax having been removed by our previous methods of quiet diplomacy, the Jackson-Vanik Amendment was institutionalized.

The conversation at issue arose not as a policy statement by me but in response to a request by the president that I should appeal to Sens. Javits and Jackson and explain why we thought their approach unwise. My answer tried to sum up that context in a kind of shorthand that, when read 37 years later, is undoubtedly offensive. It was addressed to a president who had committed himself to that issue and had never used it for political purpose to preserve its humanitarian framework.

The comment to Nixon that emigration was not a subject of foreign policy has to be seen in that context.

The conversation should also be understood as having occurred within 15 minutes of a meeting between Nixon and Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir that was attended also, and only, by myself and Israeli Ambassador Yitzhak Rabin. That meeting agreed on military deliveries (especially airplanes), a peace process via the White House, a negotiating position and steps to encourage Egypt to leave its alliance with the Soviet Union. It was to preserve that strategy that Nixon asked me to call the two senators.

Events proved our judgment correct. Jewish emigration fell to about a third of its previous high, not to be resumed at substantial levels for 20 years, as Gerson admits. That was during the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Gerson ascribes the collapse of the Soviet Union in part to the Jackson-Vanik Amendment. The amendment played no significant role in what resulted from imperial overstretch, incompetent economic management and the determined resistance of a succession of presidents from both parties, culminating in the Reagan period.

Gerson sneers at detente as if it were a kind of moral abdication. Memories are short. The conversation under discussion occurred on March 1, 1973. The Vietnam War had just ended; prisoners had not yet returned.

An effective global strategy was in place with the opening to China, a broad dialogue with the Soviet Union, and major progress in Egypt and on emigration. It was to preserve that policy that the conversation in the Oval Office took place, and it is in that context that it must be viewed.

The writer was secretary of state from 1973 to 1977.

Kissinger: Gassing Jews would not be a U.S. problem
http://www.jta.org/news/article/2010/12/11/2742121/kissinger-gassing-jews-would-not-be-a-us-problem
December 11, 2010

WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Henry Kissinger is heard saying on newly released Nixon tapes that the genocide of Soviet Jews would not be an American concern. The tapes chronicle President Richard Nixon's obsession with disparaging Jews and other minorities. Kissinger's remarks come after a meeting he and Nixon had with Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir on March 1, 1973 in which Meir pleads for the United States to put pressure on the Soviet Union to release its Jews. Nixon and Kissinger, then the secretary of state, dismiss the plea after Meir leaves. "The emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union is not an objective of American foreign policy," The New York Times on Saturday quotes Kissinger, as saying on the tapes. "And if they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern. Maybe a humanitarian concern."

Kissy isn't sorry he SAID "f**k the Jews", he's just sorry he got caught. He isn't sorry he actually f**ked the jews, either.  F**k Kissinger. He's the tool who travelled the world in the '60's demanding that all oil-producing countries denominate their oil sales in dollars and spend a percentage of it on U.S. Treasury bonds, thus financing the global corporate fascist takeover of the world economy. Since Iraq, Iran and Venezuela refused to sign on, they were put on the official s**t list of nations scheduled for reprisals.

In the minutes of a secret 1975 meeting of the National Security Council attended by President Ford reveal Henry Kissinger grumbling, "It is an act of insanity and national humiliation to have a law prohibiting the President from ordering assassination." - LOST CRUSADER: The Secret Wars of CIA Director William Colby, by John Prados, Oxford University Press, 2003

The February and March 2001 issues of Harper's Magazine feature a series by Christopher Hitchens on the case for charging Kissinger with War Crimes. Part I: The making of a war criminal Part 2 will feature an extensive section on East Timor.

Christopher Hitchens' Trial of Henry Kissinger: A Review By Mike McGlothlin ...

Hitchens presents a rather straightforward argument that establishes two seemingly undeniable propositions: on at least one occasion, Henry K. conspired to commit murder, and that on numerous other occasions, Henry K. was the primary force behind certain acts that could quite plausibly be considered war crimes. The case for Henry K. as murder conspirator is what Hitchens calls a "lay-down" case, i.e., one that stands out for its clear facts and clear law. The murder victim is General Rene Schneider, who was the Commander in Chief of the Chilean Army, whom Hitchens misidentifies as the Chilean "Chief of Staff."; According to Hitchens (and the 09 September, 1970 minutes of the "40" Committee, the Kissinger chaired secret panel that oversaw U.S. covert operations), the Chilean military had a strong tradition of neutrality in political affairs, a rarity on the South American continent. General Schneider was known as an officer committed to upholding the Chilean constitution and therefore opposed to the rumored incipient coup against newly elected Socialist President Salvador Allende by a right wing would-be junta of current and former Chilean military officers. Using U.S. Government communications cables from the CIA and documents from the State Department, and White House, Hitchens relates the facts of Kissinger's direct involvement in the direction, planning, financing, and general support by the organs of the U.S. Government in the plot to remove General Schneider.

How You Can Do What the Government Won't: Arrest Henry Kissinger - Manhattan's Milosevic, The Village Voice, Week of August 15 - 21, 2001

... bring Henry Kissinger to justice for crimes against humanity. Consider, though, what happened to the last people to talk even jokingly about plans for a citizen's arrest of the real-life model for Dr. Strangelove. ... Henry Kissinger: War Criminal or Old-Fashioned Murderer? - Welcome to the "Henry Kissinger: Unindicted Terrorist" file! ...

Incredibly, Henry Kissinger'the man who rivals Pol Pot for the dubious honor of being the person responsible for the death of the largest number of innocent people in South East Asia (and far surpasses Pol Pot in criminality when one factors in Kissinger's various levels of responsibility for wholesale slaughter and repression in other parts of the world)'still wields significant power in the United States; but his role as eager facilitator of mass murder, totalitarian repression and other atrocities is never discussed in polite society.

Masterminded the murder of as estimated 600,000 peasants in Cambodia (the "Secret bombing")

Pol Pot And Kissinger On war criminality and impunity by Edward S. Herman

President Ford and Secretary of State Kissinger gave the go ahead to Suharto's invasion of East Timor and subsequent massive war crimes there, and the same Kissinger, who helped President Nixon engineer and then protect the Pinochet coup and regime of torture and murder, and directed the first phase of the holocaust in Cambodia (1969-75) ...

The time was September 11, 1973. The country was Chile. The event was the bloody overthrow of a democratic government. And the criminals were Henry Kissinger, Richard Nixon, The CIA, and Chilean Dictator Augusto Pinochet. Pepsico, ITT, and other large U.S. corporations were also guilty parties in these crimes against the State and against The People of Chile. The Pornography of Power

TOBY HARNDEN, TELEGRAPH, LONDON: Washington reacted furiously to a request by Chilean judges for Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state, to answer questions about an American journalist killed during the 1973 coup in Chile. A Bush administration official condemned the Chilean supreme court decision to send questions to Dr Kissinger, saying the move increased unease about the proposed International Criminal Court in The Hague. The administration source said: "It is unjust and ridiculous that a distinguished servant of this country should be harassed by foreign courts in this way. The danger of the ICC is that, one day, US citizens might face arrest abroad and prosecution as a result of such politically motivated antics." . . . In its ruling, Chile's supreme court said a list of questions should be sent to the US supreme court with regard to Dr Kissinger's knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the death of Charles Horman, a journalist arrested by troops loyal to General Augusto Pinochet. His body was identified in a mortuary weeks later . . . The Chilean order came less than two months after French detectives delivered a court summons to Dr Kissinger, who was visiting Paris, asking him to testify about the disappearance of French nationals in Chile . . . In another case, a judge in Argentina has ordered Dr Kissinger to testify in a human-rights trial about a 1970s plan by South American governments to kidnap and kill Left-wing critics. [news/2001/08/01]

The US involvement in coup planning began even before Allende's election victory, under the code-name FUBELT, with action plans prepared for Kissinger's consideration. One group of officers working under CIA direction carried out the assassination of General Rene Schneider, a pro-Allende officer, in an unsuccessful attempt to spark a full-scale coup before Allende could take office. According to the new book Kissinger, by Walter Isaacson, published in 1992 by Simon & Schuster, ASEA Brown Boveri (page 733) had a contract or project arrangement with Henry Kissinger's money-making consulting firm, Kissinger Associates, in 1990. According to this fascinating book, Kissinger started his consultancy in July 1982 with '$350,000 lent to him by Goldman Sachs and a consortium of three other banks.' Some of the people Kissinger hired to work for him were Brent Scowcroft, former national security adviser, and Lawrence Eagleburger 'who was lured aboard as president in June 1984 after serving as undersecretary of state'. Both Snowcroft and Eagleburger left Kissinger Associates in 1989 to join President Bush's administration. Kent Associates is a subsidiary of Kissinger Associates. It's Getting Ugly, Folks
by voxfux

Well folks, it's an ugly, ugly world. Perhaps the ugliest of mass murderers, Henry Kissinger, was cynically appointed by the smirking "idiot (cheerleader, draft dodging) murderer" George Bush to cover up the largest mass murder of US citizens in US history. It's a cynical and obvious slap in the face to each and every free thinking person in the world, to appoint this man, who sits at the top of the groups (Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderburg Group) who surely perpetrated this murder of American citizens and planted bogus evidence to make it look like "Islamic Terrorists" did it.

Like the Warren Commission before it who cynically appointed Allen Dulles, the mastermind behind the Kennedy assassination, to "investigate" the Kennedy assassination, this development is sure to put to rest, with the millions of CNN watchers, once and for all that there was just no avoiding this horrible eventuality perpetrated the "Evil Osama Bin Laden"

A swaggering and smirking George Bush sent chills up the spines of the remaining millions around the world who know "What really happened" that September morning as he announced the "Independent Commision" headed by the grotesque Kissinger.

Kissinger is increasingly wanted by groups for crimes committed against humanity. Even France has put Kissinger on notice that he may be held accountable for his past slaughter of millions.

Kissinger has often bragged that "Power" alone has been his ticket to sexual gratification. Surely, power and money are the only way this f**king slug could ever expect to have a sexual encounter. Simply looking at him tells the whole story. His outer uglieness is an exact manifestation of of what he is on the inside - a murder of millions.

Famous Quotes by Henry Kissinger

"The US must carry out some act somewhere in the world which shows its determination to continue to be a world power."
-- Henry Kissinger, post-Vietnam blues, as quoted in The Washington Post, April 1975

"Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government."
-- Henry Kissinger speaking at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 Bilderburgers meeting. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, his speech was taped by a Swiss delegate to the meeting.

"I don't see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist due to the irresponsibility of its people. The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves."
-- Henry Kissinger, Secretary of State under Richard Nixon, about Chile prior to the CIA overthrow of the democratically elected government of socialist President Salvadore Allende in 1973

"Why should we flagellate ourselves for what the Cambodians did to each other?"
-- Henry Kissinger - who (with Richard Nixon) was responsible for the massive bombing of Cambodia in 1973, which killed three-quarters of a million peasants and disrupted Cambodian society, setting the stage for Pol Pot to come to power and ultimately kill another one-and-a-half million people

"Covert action should not be confused with missionary work."
-- Henry Kissinger, commenting on the US sellout of the Kurds in Iraq in 1975

"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer."
--Henry Kissinger

Kissinger resigns as head of 9/11 commission
http://archives.cnn.com/2002/ALLPOLITICS/12/13/kissinger.resigns/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Facing questions about potential conflicts of interest, Henry Kissinger resigned Friday as chairman of the September 11 commission. President Bush named Kissinger to lead the 10-member commission last month, dropping his longstanding opposition to an independent probe of the events leading up to the September 11 terrorist attacks. In a letter to the president, Kissinger, 79, said he was stepping down from the appointment to remove any questions about even the appearance of a conflict of interest regarding his ties to several organizations and public figures. An administration official said Kissinger also called White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card Friday afternoon to talk about his withdrawal from the position. The official would not say if the call was expected, but aides said the president was surprised by Kissinger's decision.

KISSINGER

THE SECRET SIDE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE

by GARY ALLEN

Copyright 1976

http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/homeland/kissinger/

Chapter One

EXCERPTS:

While the FBI reported that there were at least 15,000 terrorists operating in the U.S., many openly encouraged, if not supplied and directed, by foreign powers, the United States was dismantling or hand-cuffing every major governmental unit charged with investigating such assaults on our security."

This book is the account of one man who, we believe, may be another wolf, entrusted with the job of protecting the sheep. It is the story of the person who, more than any other individual inside the U.S. government, has been the chief architect and apologist for the policies whose effects we have summarized above.  It is the record of the present Secretary of State, Henry A. Kissinger."

As we penetrate the cloak of falsehood and deception that has been erected to protect the man and myth, we will find that Dr. Kissinger has deliberately misled the Congress and the American people on numerous occasions.

Kissinger's Crimes
How Dr. Henry Kissinger orchestrated global repression
http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Kissinger/Kissingers_Crimes.html
by Nora King
CovertAction Quarterly, April / June 2001

Some stones tossed in the pond make an amazing splash. Weight, not luster, causes the best splashes, and so it is with Christopher Hitchens' slim new volume, The Trial of Henry Kissinger, whose weight is in the gravity of the human loss it documents. Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and East Timor stand out for the sheer casualty numbers, Chile and Cyprus for the conniving and intrigue. Timing is everything, and Hitchens has the luck of a publication coinciding with public realization that Bill Clinton had actually signed the Rome Accord, facilitating the extradition of war criminals based in the U.S.. Although the publication date for Trial is May 2001, Hitchens serialized his book in Harpers magazine in the February and March 2001 issues, and the editions sold out.

... I saw a most remarkable interview with Henry Kissinger by Elizabeth Farnsworth on February 20, 2001 on PBS' Jim Lehrer News Hour. As part two of the Harpers series hit the newsstands, Kissinger faced a woman he had spied on in her youth and whose friends and fellow journalists were killed, imprisoned and tortured during his watch. Farnsworth, a congenial and upbeat reporter for the most part, was extremely sober as she asked probing questions about his thoughts on the overthrow of Allende in 1973. Kissinger actually said that he and Nixon were "adolescent" and that he would not play it the same on second look. For a man who has, to my knowledge, barely mentioned Chile in his own writings, he looked appropriately troubled as he mumbled and looked down. Ever watchful of his reputation, he would never have granted such an interview had Hitchens not pressed forward with Trial as a magazine nail-biter. Damning though Trial is, it doesn't chronicle the true extent of Kissinger's crimes.

The U.S. was also extremely active in covert actions to stop U.S. citizens breaking out of our homegrown apartheid while we fought bloodthirsty policies. As on other continents, some paid with their lives, many with their freedom or health. There was plenty of suffering here, some having to do with Operation CHAOS, the CIA's illegal spying on domestic activists from 1967 until discovery by Congresswoman Bella Abzug in 1976. When she called the then CIA chief (later President) George Bush and challenged him about it, he admitted the CIA had over-reached its legal authority. What about Africa? The war in Angola was a hastily manufactured war using Africans to play psychological warfare with the Soviets and to my mind cannot be overlooked. CIA Angola Task Force leader John Stockwell left the agency in disgust to write In Search of Enemies because the decision to make an illegal war was based on a Kissinger underling interpreting a grunt by the good doctor. Some African governments implored the U.S. not to assign some of their CIA agents, because they knew what it meant to have a coup team come to town. The violent death of 21 year old student leader Steven Biko and other crimes of South African apartheid in which CIA was complicit can now be extensively explored using the South African truth and reconciliation provisions. What about Horman v. Kissinger? Joyce Horman sued Henry Kissinger for $4.9 million and information on the murder in Chile of her husband, American journalist Charles Horman. Joyce Horman's case against Henry Kissinger was filed in 1977 after four years searching for answers about her husband's brutal murder in 1973. Over time, bits and pieces have come out and the picture emerged of an ugly conspiracy to silence her husband for his knowledge of U.S. involvement in the ambush killing of Constitutionalist General Rene Schneider. The Schneider assassination is the focus of the Chile section in Trial. As told in the 1980 film "Missing," Charles Horman had only recently completed his research into the U.S. role in Schneider's killing when he was kidnapped off the street in front of neighbors on September 17, 1973. He had been on a story in Valparaiso when the coup began, and the Americans around him were a bit too forthcoming about the U.S. role, not knowing at first who Charles was. Chile hadn't seen a political killing in a hundred years, but Charles had been a civil rights activist and an anti-war activist before his 1972 foray into Chile. He had seen the evil of the stolen vote, the abused soldier, the sinister gunman before and recognized it, with his filmmaker's nose for a story. Charles was an idealist, like many others who died that year.

Horman v. Kissinger names a number of other U.S. officials, including Nathaniel Davis, who was Kissinger's man at the U.S. Embassy in Santiago, and who was promoted after the coup to become an undersecretary of state. He was rewarded for being a coup team player, well able to come in to keep his own spoon in the pot on the old cable traffic before it might reach the inquiring mind of a congressperson. When the D.C. District Court judge ruled in Horman v. Kissinger to dismiss without prejudice in 1980, this meant that Kissinger et al and their lawyers failed to refute the Horman family claim that the U.S. knew of the coup at least 18 hours in advance. While Joyce Horman is still seeking declassification of many of the documents from the government which are still classified almost 30 years later, the ones now declassified seem to bear out her claim. Discovery is now underway in Chile in Joyce's Chilean case and in many other cases sparked by the return of democracy's sense of accountability to those who have suffered at the hands of torture. When Chile's files on the seventies are married with our own, it is reasonable to expect that valid evidence will emerge to show cause for reopening Horman v. Kissinger in the D.C. District Court. Kind of like the German folk tale about a bone, thrown by a tyrant under a tree, which with the vicissitudes of time becomes a flute which sings of the wrongs done to the ones who fell for the love of justice. If the Trail of Henry Kissinger leads to the trial of Henry Kissinger, we need to hone the questions down, paint with a less broad brush. How about, for instance:

QUESTION: Dr. Kissinger, did you approve, or did anyone under your order authorize, the use of USAF B57 LIC#63103289 in the overthrow of the legally elected government of Chile in September of 1973?

QUESTION: Did you, Dr. Kissinger, authorize the use of smart bombs or rockets in the overthrow of the Chilean government, as aerial reconnaissance photo analyst Tim Butz indicated in February 1974?

QUESTION: Dr. Kissinger, why the dictators, why?

Gee, I'm not defending the guy, but Kissinger actually seems to be telling the truth.

My take: He just wanted the Jewish lobby to back off and deal with the issue of Russian imigration issue his way. Even he was annoyed by them lol

I think that Kissinger wasn't so bold back then when Zionist Jews weren't riding as high as they are now in the US political landscape, although they were making some serious inroads. He seemed to want to cloak the issues of getting the Russian Jews into the US and Israel as to not deal with the issue of antisemitism, which seemed to be even more of a big deal then than it is now.

What I get out of this is that Kissinger was both sympathetic to Israel and to Russia. He seemed to have an obvious conflict of interest (much like he did with 9/11) and didn't wish to bring attention to the matter of Russian immigration. Just as he said, he just wanted different diplomatic channels for it.

The "gas chamber" bullshit that everyone is making a big deal about, was just something Kissinger seemed to say as an after-thought, which is why he didn't even bother to originally address it. Were the Soviets even gassing Jews in 1971? Highly doubt it. Keep in mind the time frame that we are looking at here, 1971, and the great Holocaust narrative was being constructed for mass public consumption and I'm sure there was much talk about Hitler and the Nazis and "gas chambers" at that time.

But that's a whole 'nother can of worms there.

Quote from:

Kissinger in an e-mail to JTA would brook no request for an apology and did not even directly address his gas chambers remark. Instead he appeared to insist on context: His frustration at the time with the insistence of the Jewish community and U.S. senators such as Jacob Javits (R-N.Y.) and Henry "Scoop"Jackson (D-Wash.) on attaching human rights riders to dealings with the Soviets.

“The quotations ascribed to me in the transcript of the conversation with President Nixon must be viewed in the context of the time,” Kissinger wrote to JTA.

He and Nixon pursued the issue of Soviet Jewish emigration as a humanitarian matter separate from foreign policy issues in order to avoid questions of sovereignty and because normal diplomatic channels were closed, Kissinger wrote.

“By this method and the persistent private representation at the highest level we managed to raise emigration from 700 per year to close to 40,000 in 1972,” Kissinger wrote. “We disagreed with the Jackson Amendment, which made Jewish emigration a foreign policy issue. We feared that the Amendment would reduce emigration, which is exactly what happened. Jewish emigration never reached the level of 40,000 again until the Soviet Union collapsed. The conversation between Nixon and me must be seen in the context of that dispute and of our distinction between a foreign policy and a humanitarian approach.”

He does not care about euthenizing millions of africans, raping millions of iraquis, burning millions of vietnamese alive, or gassing jews. Christopher Hitchens, among others, has been waiting to hear the thoughts of the Anti-Defamation League on the matter of Henry Kissinger's craven and obscene comments to his President, the craven and obscene Richard Nixon. This is what Kissinger had to say about the crisis provoked by the suppression of Jews by the Soviet Union: "The emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union is not an objective of American foreign policy, And if they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern. Maybe a humanitarian concern."

Hitchens:

It's hard to know how to classify this observation in the taxonomy of obscenity. Should it be counted as tactical Holocaust pre-denial? That would be too mild. It's actually a bit more like advance permission for another Holocaust. Which is why I wonder how long the official spokesmen of American Jewry are going to keep so quiet. Nothing remotely as revolting as this was ever uttered by Jesse Jackson or even Mel Gibson, to name only two famous targets of the wrath of the Anti-Defamation League. Where is the outrage? Is Kissinger--normally beseeched for comments on subjects about which he knows little or nothing--going to be able to sit out requests from the media that he clarify this statement? Does he get to keep his op-ed perch in reputable newspapers with nothing said? Will the publishers of his mendacious and purloined memoirs continue to give him expensive lunches as if nothing has happened?"

Here now, recently over the transom, a press release from the Anti-Defamation League:

ADL: KISSINGER REMARKS ON NIXON TAPES REVEAL "DISTURBING FLAWS," BUT DO NOT CHANGE HIS LEGACY
New York, NY, December 13, 2010 ... The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said a 1973 discussion between President Richard M. Nixon and his top foreign policy advisor at the time, Henry Kissinger, released as part of the Nixon Tapes, "shows a disturbing and even callous insensitivity" toward Soviet Jews, "but should not change history's verdict on the important contributions and ultimate legacy" of Kissinger.

The press release goes on to quote Abe Foxman, the ADL director, as saying,

"Dr. Kissinger's contributions to the safety and security of the U.S. and Israel have solidly established his legacy as a champion of democracy and as a committed advocate for preserving the well-being of the Jewish state of Israel.  The Nixon Tapes should not change history's verdict on the important contributions and ultimate legacy of Henry Kissinger."

Did Kissigner regularly undermine his boss in order to further his own political agendas?

If Kissinger was all about a genocidal policy towards Jews, don't you think he would have done to Israel what he did to Vietnam?

As if Kissinger is worried about what anyone thinks about his past foreign policy and genocide. It's already a very open and talked about issue with books, videos and even arrest warrents.

Were Soviets gassing the Jews?

I do not think they were, but Kissinger definitely did not see any problem in it. As Hitchens put it:

It's hard to know how to classify this observation in the taxonomy of obscenity. Should it be counted as tactical Holocaust pre-denial? That would be too mild. It's actually a bit more like advance permission for another Holocaust.

And that is really the point. Kissinger, the ADL, the SPLC, AIPAC, and other so called "protectors of Jews and Israel" are so full of shit. They want their agenda in Israel and they want their agenda with the jews. Their agenda is the same as Rockefeller, Harriman, Beatrix, Bilderberg, etc. They want death camps everywhere, they want euthanasia, they want sterilization, stasi files on everyone, a new gestapo, etc. So if anyone actually warns of a holocaust that is being planned right now with Halliburton, GE, IBM, and others...the ADL says...NO BIG DEAL. For some reason you are parroting Abe Foxman and I have no idea why.

Quote
Do you even know why the Soviets were persecuting Jews to begin with?

Well if you would follow the Nazi school of thought I suppose it is because all crimes are race based so therefore a specific race must be persecuted...BUT NOT THE ACTUAL CRIMINALS LIKE KISSINGER.

Quote
Did Kissigner regularly undermine his boss in order to further his own political agendas?

Does it even matter? He is saying that the extermination of a race with the technique of gassing is a non-issue to him. Do you think he did not mean what he said?

Quote
If Kissinger was all about a genocidal policy towards Jews, don't you think he would have done to Israel what he did to Vietnam?

He turned Israel into a state where they work on false flag terrorism via intelligence and weaponry. And he ignored the Nazis who were in charge of Israel's Bioterrorism labrotories just like he ignored the Nazis through paperclip who ran NASA, nukes, bioterror, and chemical terror programs. He turned Israel into a state that kills its own people like the 100,000 ringworm children. A state which is forced to create insane setttlements via funds from Rockefeller and Abramoff. A state where the peacemakers get assassinated and the genocidal maniacs like Sharon get promoted to the highest office.

Everybody knows that Israel and Palestine were usurped by zionazis who did not give a shit about the jewish people, the palestinian people, the christian people, anyone. National socialism (the state) is higher than god to the zionazis. Norman Finklestein has exposed this fact so has Cynthia McKinney, most of the jewish orthodoxy for the past 100 years, and many others. Kissinger made sure that people like Abe Foxman were the face of the jews and of israel. So now 50 years later...Israel is similar to Nazi Germany and Vietnam is seen as a peaceful nation. You truly think that Henry Kissinger gives a shit about jews? This is really what you honestly believe?

Quote
As if Kissinger is worried about what anyone thinks about his past foreign policy and genocide.

Your damn right he gives a shit, that is why he gave this half ass apology. That is why he was forced to resign from the 9/11 commission. That is why everyone knows that CSIS is planning a false flag and a coup d'etat against the lawful government of the United States of America. Your damn right he gives a shit...THAT IS WHY HE GAVE APPROVAL FOR THE ASSASSINATION OF GARY WEBB.

Quote
It's already a very open and talked about issue with books, videos and even arrest warrents.

And every week we see another layer of this cancer to humanity. Even if you say to ignore it, every pitiful piece of evidence proving beyond a reasonable doubt how damaging this piece of trash strives to be should be exposed. I cannot for the life of me understand why you are defending this guy. It would be like defending Bush for saying southern baptists are stupid, or the king of saudi arabia who says that all citizens should be his slaves. these type of peopel are cannibals, they eat their own.

Kissinger, Eugenics and Nazis
Excerpts from Article SUPERVIRUSES, CONTAMINATED VACCINES AND THE CURRENT AND COMING PLAGUES
by Leonard Horowitz, DMD, MPH, Ph.D.
Tuesday, January 15, 2008

HENRY KISSINGER

No epidemic in earth's history has ever evolved without major social and political upheaval, so you have to examine the decade prior to 1978 when the first AIDS cases emerged. Going back to 1968, Henry Kissinger was appointed National Security Advisor, which made him the most powerful man in American intelligence, overseeing the FBI, CIA and foreign policy. Almost immediately, Kissinger selected the option to develop immune system ravaging microorganisms for germ warfare as an alternative to nuclear weapons. You must create the organisms, and then test them where the hand of America will not show. Where is that? Central Africa, Zaire and Angola, the heart of the African AIDS belt and close to ground zero for the first Ebola virus outbreak.

"AIDS is a lousy biological weapon, but it is a fabulous population reducing agent. "

"Ebola is an ideal weapon. It kills nine out of ten people within three weeks. It has proteolytic enzymes that turn your internal organs and blood vessels to mush. That is why it is far better than nuclear weapons. You still have all the infrastructure. "

Why destroy the property when you can own it? What is Kissinger's relationship to all this? You have to go back to 1955.

THE INTERNATIONAL BANKSTERS WHO RUN THE WORLD

In 1955 Kissinger was made the nuclear weapons study group director for the Council of Foreign Relations by Nelson Rockefeller. This is not a government agency. It is approximately 3,000 of the wealthiest most powerful military medical industrialists who dictate policy for all of the heads of state who are all puppets. The international banksters run the world. They are the international bankers, international industrialists, and medical and military industrialists.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER

That same year (1955), Kissinger finished his Ph.D. thesis at Harvard entitled The Meaning of History in which he describes the contemporary evolution of the New World Order. You can pull his thesis off the shelf in the stacks in the library at Harvard. The phrase, New World Order, was made famous by George Bush who frequently talked about it. You have to be blind if you don't see that this one world government agenda is rapidly unfolding.

Also in 1955, Bertrand Russell, who is from an aristocratic English family with ties to high level British intelligence and the shadow governors (banksters), wrote in his book The Impact of Science on Society:

"I do not pretend that birth control is the only way in which population can be kept from increasing. War has hitherto been disappointing in this respect, but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. There are three ways of securing a society whose population is stable: birth control, infanticide or really destructive wars which creates general misery except for the powerful minority. These considerations prove that a scientific world society cannot be stable unless there is a world government with a monopoly of armed force."

NAZI MASS DEPARTURE FROM GERMANY

Just before the end of WWII, Kissinger was godfather to Project Paperclip which was the exfiltration of approximately 2,000 Nazis out of Germany before the war's end, along with all the vast fortunes. Most people think all the Nazis went to the Nuremburg trials. Not true. Most were fined about $5,000 and jailed for a few years, then released to join their colleagues in America working for the CIA and intelligence for American industry. We have declassified documents to prove that 2000 came to the U.S. and 11,000 went to France. Seven books have already been written about it.

Among the Nazis who got out were some of the most hideous names in contemporary history. In 1938, the Dulles brothers, the law firm which represented John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil, engineered the partnership between John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil and I.G. Farben, Germany's leading industrial organization which held the patent on the gas that killed millions of people. I.G. Farben and the Third Reich were inseparable partners, and the Rockefellers were partners with I.G. Farben. The American Red Cross, largely controlled by Rockefeller, supplied the Nazis with false identification. Laurance Rockefeller created the New York City Blood Council which became the international "blood banksters". These are the people who allowed countless people around the world to get HIV contaminated blood. They knew for years it was contaminated with HIV but they let it be used anyway.

THE CANCER INDUSTRY AND THE SUPPRESSION OF ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE

In the 1920's Rockefeller and Sloan created the cancer industry. Also in the 20's, they had another agenda, the monopolization of American medicine, and it was determined that holistic therapies and alternative medicine were quackery and fraud.

EUGENICS

In the same decade, an interesting union was forming between the Rockefeller family, Prescott Bush (George Bush's father), William Draper III, the Royal family in England, and a few other financiers who inspired the eugenics agenda. Eugenics simply means the study of the genetic differences between the races. It led to the racial hygiene laws, and the study of the genetic predisposition for diseases among the races. The racial hygiene laws that you think Hitler came up with were in fact originated in 1928 by the Rockefellers, Prescott Bush and the Royal family and others, aiming for population reduction and supremacy of the master race.

NAZI MONEY BURIED IN NEW CORPORATIONS

At the end of the war Hitler ordered Martin Bormann, financial director of the Third Reich, to bury the treasure not only for Germany's economic recovery, but for the rise of the Fourth Reich. So Bormann buried it into 750 corporations as determined by their partners I.G. Farben and the Rockefellers, to establish a monopoly over the world's pharmaceutical and chemical industries because this would be essential for the "New Ordnung" or "New Order". Among the 750 corporations that received the money, one of the principle recipients was Merck and Co., the people who produced along with Dr. Hilleman the vaccine that plausibly delivered AIDS to the world. Merck has remained a major biological weapons contractor for CIA's top secret project NKNaomi, and Kissinger has remained all these years a major consultant to Merck.

Dr. Henry Kissinger
http://mindprod.com/politics/bush911kissinger.html

Dr. Kissinger, wanted war criminal, winner of the Nobel peace prize, Nixon adviser, leader of project paperclip to help the Nazis escape from Germany,… This man was originally in charge of the 9-11 investigation. Even the ultra-right John Birch society thought the idea is ludicrous. He resigned on 2002-12-13.

The man is a war criminal — wanted for questioning in Chile, Argentina and France (concerning French citizens who disappeared in Chile). He cannot travel to Britain, Brazil and many other countries because they cannot guarantee his immunity from legal proceedings.

on depopulation

Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries.
~ Henry Kissinger

on democracy:

This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. Henry "Heinz" Kissinger, CIA Terrorist Allen Dulles and Project Paperclip:
http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=196370.0

1945-present: UNITED STATES. President Harry Truman, approves the importation of German military scientists into the U.S. provided that they are not members of the Nazi party, are not supporters of militarism and are not war criminals. Harry just doesn't seem to realize that he is dealing with Allen Dulles and the boys. U.S. Army Intelligence and what will become the CIA disobey Truman's directive and, using thousands of faked travel papers provided by the Holy Roman Church, organize the escape from war crimes prosecution in Europe of thousands of major Nazi war criminals and mass murderers who are nicely “de-Nazified” for public consumption by being given fictitious non-Nazi backgrounds and are then recruited into the U.S. State Department, U.S. intelligence agencies, the U.S. Army, what will become the U.S. Air Force and NASA and various other U.S. government agencies.

Other Nazis are quietly incorporated into American academic life, into the ubiquitous right wing "think tanks" and foundations which dominate American policy making and the creation of presidential candidates for both parties, into the mass media, into U.S. biological and chemical warfare agencies and other military organizations. By 1955, almost eight hundred of the Nazis will have been reborn as red, white and blue American citizens.

The main plan to orchestrate the escape of the Nazi war criminals from Europe is designated Operation Paperclip. In U.S. government circles, being an accessory after the fact to mass murder by helping Nazi war criminals and mass murderers escape prosecution so they can do their dirty work for the U.S. is called the "military evacuation of scientists".

An individual deeply involved in Operation Paperclip is one Heinz Kissinger, who had entered the U.S. from Germany in 1938, presenting as a Jewish refugee fleeing Nazi persecution. As a private named Henry Kissinger in the U.S. Army, his peculiar talents are quickly spotted by an expatriate Prussian lurking in the U.S. Army, Fritz Kraemer, who will become the shadowy figure behind U.S. militarism for decades to come.

After a stint as virtual dictator of several occupied German towns, a remarkable role for a private, Kissinger becomes principal assistant to General Alexander Bollings, the “godfather” of Project Paperclip, and then works for U.S. Army Counter-Intelligence at the European Command Intelligence School in Oberammergau, Germany. There, Kissinger trains agents to hunt down Nazi war criminals and mass murderers, not to be tried for their war crimes, but to recruit them in order to to employ their well-honed skills directly on behalf of the United States of America. We will be hearing much more of Kissinger.

Operation Paperclip, the merger of the OSS and the Gehlen Organization into the CIA and the other U.S. operations to block the prosecution of Nazi war criminals and incorporate them into its own agencies or the agencies of various U.S. puppet dictatorships, is nothing more or less than the implementation of the Nazis' Plan Odessa. Odessa provided for the escape from war crimes prosecution of Hitler's henchmen and their repositioning around the world in the event of a German defeat. The reborn Nazis would then continue to pursue the goals of the owners of the multinational corporations, including IG Farben, Standard Oil, Krupp, General Motors, Ford, IT&T and Dupont which financed the rise and arming of the Nazis in first place.

Most prominent among the thousands of Nazi war criminals rescued from the gallows and employed by the United States are Gehlen, Walter Rudolph, Walter Rauff, developer of the Nazi gas chamber, Walter Emil Schreiber, Otto Skorzeny, Emil Augsburg whose specialty was the mass murder of Polish Jews and other “undesirables”, “Angel of Death” Joseph Mengele, Hitler’s top biological warfare specialist Erich Traub, SS V1 and V2 rocket scientist Werner von Braun, Adolph Eichmann’s right hand man Alois Brunner and four of Eichmann's closest associates, and Klaus Barbie, the notorious “Butcher of Lyon”. The rabidly anti-Semitic Allen Dulles is instrumental in directly protecting from prosecution his personal favorite, SS mass murderer Jospeph Mengele and Guido Zimmer, a leading figure in the deportation and murder of Italian Jews.

A favored group of Amerinazis is the "radiation experimenters" who will take the results of their concentration camp studies to what will become the CIA to develop torture techniques and weapons using radiation. Among this select group are Boris Rajewski, Gerhard Schubert, Hermann Daenzer, Wolfgang Luther, Dieter Strang and Arthur Demnitz.

Also evading the hangman courtesy of the government of the United States is Dr. Hubertus Strughold who had conducted grotesque “high altitude” experiments on inmates in Dachau, subjecting his victims to ever-decreasing air pressure until their bodies virtually exploded. In his brave new Homeland, Strughold will be repositioned as the cuddly “father of American space medicine".

A true Renaissance man, Strughold also conducted sadistic experiments on concentration camp inmates with mind-altering drugs. In the interests of furthering Nazi science, the CIA will use Strughold’s experimental results as the foundation for its barbaric and criminal experimentation with hallucinogens, truth serums and mind control, including the programming of "lone assassins", on thousands of unwitting Americans and Canadians under its project MKUltra.

After the French discover that the government of the United States has rescued and employed Barbie, a mass murderer of Jewish children, Heinz "Henry" Kissinger's outfit quickly spirits Barbie and Nazi concentration camp doctor Joseph Mengele to the Vatican-run "ratline" where Croatian Nazi priests and others operate a virtual travel agency for Nazi war criminals escaping to South America. In South America, Barbie and Mengele work on CIA projects advising and assisting the death squads of U.S.-armed and maintained dictatorships.

The U.S. arranges for the escape to South America and the Middle East of thousands of other Nazi war criminals who will become central to the ”security” services and death squads of U.S.-installed and maintained puppet dictatorships.

Near the end of the war in Europe, more than $2 billion in gold disappears from the Reichsbank and is widely believed to have been carried by U-boat to South America to finance the activities of the Nazi escapees.

Until documents released under the Freedom of Information Act in the 1980s and in 2000 confirmed the details of Operation Paperclip, the U.S. government repeatedly lied, hard as that may be to believe, about its involvement in sabotaging the prosecution of Nazi war criminals and recruiting them into U.S. government service.

For more than half a century, the U.S. mass media will studiously avoid any examination of the recruitment of thousands of Nazi war criminals and their incorporation into the highest levels of U.S. government agencies. Those in the independent and non-American media who do report the truth are, as usual, dismissed as "conspiracy theorists". An accurate expose of Operation Paperclip published in 1992 by author Linda Hunt will be almost completely ignored by the U.S. mass media.

As of 2004, almost sixty years after the fact, there are still millions of OSS and CIA documents relating to the incorporation of the Nazis into the U.S. government, the CIA, NASA, the American military, the American media and academia which remain unaccountably classified. Self-evidently, the documents contain truths about the pivotal role of Nazis in the activities of the United States and its agencies even more damning that those which have already been unearthed.

1945: UNITED STATES. The World Commerce Corporaton is formed just after the end of the war in Europe, to rebuild "trade" between Germany and South America, a continent which is now pretty densely populated with escaped Nazi war criminals thanks to Nazi shyster Allen Dulles, Henry Kissinger and the U.S. government. By amazing coincidence, one of the attorneys involved in setting up this new money laundering apparatus is none other than Allen Dulles.
All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

related: THE FORTY YEARS WAR - Nixon gave up Vietnam

Nixon/Kiss meet with Dobrynin 14 May 1969

Six weeks into office in 1969: With over 500,000 men in theater, a cost in lives of 30,000 GIs and there was still no end in site.
In March of 1969 , Nixon/Kissinger secretly tells soviet amb. Dobrynin that losing vietnam or vietnam going communist would be OK.

Document 22: “A Reasonable Interval”: Dobrynin's record of meeting with Kissinger and Nixon, 14 May 1969, pp. 59-62

While Nixon and Kissinger would not accept North Vietnam’s proposal for a coalition government,

during the conversation before the meeting with Nixon, Kissinger showed considerable flexibility about the ultimate outcome of the war. He told Dobrynin that he was “prepared to accept any political system in South Vietnam, ‘provided there is a fairly reasonable interval between conclusion of an agreement and [the establishment of] such a system.” Implicitly, even if South Vietnam became a Communist regime, that would be acceptable as long as there was a “reasonable interval” after the U.S. military withdrawal.

Without the telling the Joint Chiefs. Without telling Congress. Without telling the American people. Without telling the men risking their lives in theater.

Since the Soviets were THE arms supplier of weapons to N. Vietnam, wouldn't you think he'd tell Uncle Ho and his pals,
and what stratagies of destruction they could think up? Don't you think the Viet Cong might want some Payback?

KISSINGER OUT OF THE CLOSET
Charlotte Iserbyt November 27, 2002 NewsWithViews.com

...

In 1974 a very important little book entitled "Henry Kissinger... Soviet Agent" was written by the late Frank A. Capell, one of America's great patriots. Some background information on Capell follows:

Capell was an Associate Editor of The Review of the News and American Mercury magazine and his articles appeared intermittently in over forty publications. Beginning as an undercover criminal investigator (tight-roper) for District Attorneys and Police Commissioners, he later became Chief Investigator of the Westchester County (N.Y) Sheriff's Office. In this capacity he established a Bureau of Subversive Activities and supervised the investigation of thousands of individuals and organizations, including Nazis, Fascists, and Communists.
...
Now to the meat of this story, much of which has been copied from Capell's "Henry Kissinger...Soviet Agent" published in 1973.

"An anti-Communist who infiltrated Polish Communist Intelligence and rose to the equivalent rank of general has now named Henry Kissinger as a Soviet agent, recruited into a special group known as ODRA while he was a sergeant in the U.S. Armed Forces in Germany during World War II.

The information obtained from this general was found to be accurate in all cases where it was checked out. He was responsible for uncovering a long list of KGB (Soviet intelligence) and GRU (Soviet Military Intelligence) agents and officers. Among these were Soviet colonel Koilon Molody, alias Gordon Lonsdale, and his four agents, Henry Houghton, Ethel Gee, and Peter and Helen Kroger, alias Cohen, operating in Great Britain. Through Houghton was developed the case of KGB agent John Vassal of British Naval Intelligence official connected with MI-6 in London. Another case was that of George Blake, a very high British Intelligence official connected with MI-6 in London. (p 2-3)

...

In view of such a record one is not surprised to find that Henry A. Kissinger was years ago identified as a K.G.B. undercover agent, code-named Bor, assigned to a Soviet spy ring called ODRA.

Our intelligence agencies were briefed on this as long ago as 1961 by an important anti-Communist who had for years operated behind the Iron Curtain at a high level of Communist intelligence and personally saw Kissinger’s K.G.B. dossier.

The source of this information supplied data resulting in the exposure and arrest of scores of other K.G.B. agents planted high in the Governments of Britain, Sweden, France, Germany, and Israel. He was formally voted the thanks of the American people in a special Congressional Resolution. Yet his detailed revelations about Kissinger have been buried. And Henry A. Kissinger, who worked with the Reds in Germany after World War II, now runs the U.S. intelligence network from above.*

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole ; He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. - Job 5

Kissinger’s entire career ‘a series of massacres and outrages’

Until the most recent release of the Nixon/Kissinger tapes, what were the permitted justifications for saying in advance that the slaughter of Jews in gas chambers by a hostile foreign dictatorship would not be “an American concern”? Let’s agree that we do not know. It didn’t seem all that probable that the question would come up. Or, at least, not all that likely that the statement would turn out to have been made, and calmly received, in the Oval Office. I was present at Madison Square Garden in 1985 when Louis Farrakhan warned the Jews to remember that “when [God] puts you in the ovens, you’re there forever,” but condemnation was swift and universal, and, in any case, Farrakhan’s tenure in the demented fringe was already a given.

Now, however, it seems we do know the excuses and the rationalizations. Here’s one, from David Harris of the American Jewish Committee: “Perhaps Kissinger felt that, as a Jew, he had to go the extra mile to prove to the president that there was no question of where his loyalties lay.” And here’s another, from Abraham Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League: “The anti-Jewish prejudice which permeated the Nixon presidency and White House undoubtedly created an environment of intimidation for those who did not share the president’s bigotry. Dr. Kissinger was clearly not immune to that intimidation.” Want more? Under the heading, “A Defense of Kissinger, From Prominent Jews,” Mortimer Zuckerman, Kenneth Bialkin, and James Tisch wrote to the New York Times to say that “Mr. Kissinger consistently played a constructive role vis-à-vis Israel both as national security adviser and secretary of state, especially when the United States extended dramatic assistance to Israel during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.” They asked that “the fuller Kissinger record should be remembered” and, for good measure, that “the critics of Mr. Kissinger should remember the context of his entire life.” Finally, Kissinger himself has favored us with the following: At that time in 1973, he reminds us, the Nixon administration was being pressed by Sens. Jacob Javits and Henry Jackson to link Soviet trade privileges to emigration rights for Russian Jews. “The conversation at issue arose not as a policy statement by me but in response to a request by the president that I should appeal to Sens. Javits and Jackson and explain why we thought their approach unwise.”

But Kissinger didn’t say something cold and Metternichian to the effect that Jewish interest should come second to détente. He deliberately said gas chambers! If we are going to lower our whole standard of condemnation for such talk (and it seems that we have somehow agreed to do so), then it cannot and must not be in response to contemptible pseudo-reasonings like these.
All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

The Fascist Moses
By David Glenn Cox

Let’s kick Richard Nixon, it's great fun; we all did it at parties back in the 1970s. But that was the previous generation and this generation has missed out on the fun, like Woodstock. Unbeknownst to this current generation there would have been hundreds of fistfights and stabbings at Woodstock had it not been for three little words, "f**k Richard Nixon!"

All one had to do was simply step between the adversaries and say, "Come on now, guys, hey, look. f**k Richard Nixon!" Instantly the opponents would separate and begin to smile and agree, "Yeah, you’re right, man. f**k Richard Nixon!" The potential warriors would depart as buddies and would exchange bong hits until their eyeballs melted in their sockets and they would forget all about their conflicts.

That was in the twilight’s last gleaming of American democracy, when a President could still be removed from office for malfeasance. Let me rephrase that, Richard Nixon could be removed from office for malfeasance; it’s doubtful whether anyone else could be. I know all about George W. Bush and Bush was a drunken, coke-snorting, mean-spirited, frat boy. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the truest definition of a sociopath, but Nixon was just plain crazy.

Nixon had paranoid delusions that people were out to get him and so he responded with bile, tirades, enemy lists and dirty tricks. Because of his paranoid delusions he alienated everyone around him until even members of his own party would walk all the way across the street just to piss on Richard Nixon. Eventually these self-fulfilling, paranoid delusions gave to Richard Nixon a kind of an Eeyore quality.

Nixon’s most trusted advisor was Henry Kissinger and Nixon only trusted him while he was in the room. Kissinger’s first government job was as a translator for the head of the CIA, Allen Dulles. Kissinger was his protegee and it was Dulles who helped to plan the Bay of Pigs invasion and Dulles who told Kennedy that he needed to launch an unprovoked, full-scale military attack on Cuba. Kennedy fired Dulles and his Deputy Director Charles Cabell, whose brother Earl Cabell changed the presidential motorcade route in Dallas.

Nice folks. It was Dulles who proposed a plan to fake an aircraft hijacking and to blame it on Cuba. This is where this cast of unknowns began their rise into the halls of corporate fascism. George Bush, E. Howard Hunt, Porter Goss were all operatives under Dulles, and after Dulles was fired their futures were in question. But when Richard Nixon chose Henry Kissinger as Secretary of State their meal tickets became safe and secure. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, CIA operative General Richard Secord was moving heroin on military aircraft in Vietnam and depositing the profits in banks in Australia. Then Secord began to sell pilfered US military hardware to friend and foe alike, and when this was discovered Secord was promoted!

Nixon ran for the presidency with the promise of a secret plan to end the Vietnam War. His secret plan, as it turned out, was this: get Richard Nixon elected President and then fight the North Vietnamese until they give up. Nixon authorized the secret bombings of neutral countries, as well as illegal invasions. Cambodia’s President Norodom Sihanouk was playing both sides so the CIA had him overthrown. Sihanouk had signed a secret pact with China in 1965 but was playing footsie with the CIA, so when the CIA disposed of him, China said, "Good riddance!"

Kennedy wouldn’t expand the Vietnam War, and well, he had an accident. So when Richard Nixon ended the Vietnam War without a victory he, well, he had an accident, too. After invading and bombing civilian areas in neutral countries and bombing civilian and humanitarian targets in North Vietnam, Nixon was removed from office because of a bungled burglary and financial campaign irregularities, and Americans with a straight face say the Catholic Church is in denial!

With Spiro Agnew’s departure due to a racketeering conviction two chief executives of the country are removed from office within ten months and no one suspects anything is amiss. No one suspects levers behind the throne but Gerald Ford is elected President by one vote, Richard Nixon’s vote. Ford’s lone claim to fame was to pardon Richard Nixon to end the long national nightmare of Watergate. Nightmare is a good synonym for the coup d'etat that happened while America slept. Two attempts were made on Ford’s life in little more than two years and who was the director of the CIA then? Anyone? Why, it was good old George H. W. Bush.

The first Witch says, "When shall we three meet again, In thunder, lightning, or in rain?"

The second Witch, "When the hurlyburly’s done, When the battle's lost and won."

The third Witch says, "That will be ere the set of sun."

The first Witch, "Where the place?"

The second Witch, "Upon the heath."

The third Witch, "There to meet with Macbeth."

All, "Fair is foul, and foul is fair: Hover through the fog and filthy air."

Gerald Ford was lampooned in the press as a buffoon and even though he was a buffoon he never shot his friend in the face on a drunken hunting excursion or played golf with a Supreme Court Judge who might have to hear cases involving his administration. So either you’re in or you’re out. James Earl Carter was elected with on strong anti-Washington sentiment and Washington responded with a strong Anti-Carter sentiment. For four years Carter and his staff complained of phone calls not being returned and policies not being carried out. Riots and demonstrations were happening in Tehran; did anyone think of reducing the embassy staff or closing the embassy? That’s the job the CIA is supposed to do, and when the Iranians took Americans hostage, who took the fall?

When the military rescue mission failed, who took the fall?

The hostages were released twenty minutes after the swearing in of Ronald Reagan, but the story goes that no deals were struck. Sure, I believe. Somehow the Reagan camp came into possession of Carter’s national security briefings and even Carter’s debate notes. Richard Allen was Reagan’s foreign policy chief during the campaign and he said that he was told to report to Theodore Shackley. Shackley had been fired from the CIA by the Carter administration and it was Theodore Shackley who was the station chief in Miami during the Bay of Pigs invasion and the senior agent was E. Howard Hunt.

So who did the Carter administration suspect had been leaking the classified documents? Two national security officials named Donald Gregg and Robert Gates. That’s somewhat illuminating considering Gates was the lone holdover from the Bush administration. Shackley reported to Bush Senior on the campaign and Gregg reported directly to Shackley.

So Reagan gets elected and hell comes to breakfast: tax cuts for the rich, education cuts for the poor. The giveaways of national resources to coal and timber interests. Drug smuggling in South America, the looting of the savings and loans. For the CIA it was glory days until something went horribly wrong just sixty-nine days into Reagan's first term. Another of America's oh so famous lone nuts with a gun shot Reagan as he walked out the front door of the hotel where he was speaking.

I’ll repeat that, the President of the United States walked out the front door of the hotel. Does that sound like good security policy to you? Reagan and aide James Brady were hit with bullets and the hospital was immediately notified, but Reagan’s limo showed up at the hospital almost fifteen minutes after Brady's and no stretcher was waiting. The excuse given was that the driver, a highly-trained ten year veteran of the Washington Secret Service, got lost in his own hometown. If you had told me that he got lost in Omaha, maybe I’d believe it. If you pulled a stunt like that in Stalin’s Russia, you and your family would be chopping wood in Siberia for generations to come.

During his short tenure as Secretary of State, Al Haig had complained that someone within the administration had been trying to undermine him in the eyes of the President. After hearing that the President had been shot it was Haig’s staff who notified Vice President Bush who was away giving a speech in Fort Worth. It was Haig who convened the cabinet for a status report and began an investigation into the shooter or shooters and then made his famous "I am in charge" statement, which meant that he was in charge of the White House until Bush returned. He later said that Bush had agreed to this over the phone.

When Bush returned to the White House he cancelled the investigation into the shooter or shooters and Haig was then vilified in the press. Al Haig had been hired by Henry Kissinger to serve in the Nixon administration in 1969. Secretary of state George Schultz was also a Nixon/Kissinger protegee as were Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and Paul Bremer. Nixon begat Reagan, Reagan begat Bush, Bush begat son of Bush.

In the first one hundred and seventy-four years of American history there were three assassination attempts on chief executives and candidates, with only two being successful. Since 1963 there have been six assassinations or attempts: John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Gerald Ford (twice), George Wallace and Ronald Reagan. Interestingly when Wallace ran in 1968 he ran as a Democrat and was seen as taking votes away from Democrats. When he ran again in 1972 he ran as an independent and was expected to take votes from Republicans and was shot by yet another lone nut with a gun.

In one hundred and seventy-four years only one chief executive was ever impeached. Since 1968 one President was impeached, one President stepped down to keep from being impeached and one Vice President resigned upon conviction for racketeering.

It is tied and twisted like a Gordian Knot; the fiascos and failures of a generation of political leadership can all be tied to the tail of one delusional paranoid, but the names and numbers speak for themselves. It is impossible to say that it all happened because of Richard Nixon, but Nixon hired Kissinger and in doing so made himself the Fascist Moses.

We have wandered in the political desert for forty years and we cannot seem to find our way home. Maybe defense secretary Robert Gates knows the way; He was a Kissinger protegee. Maybe Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner knows; he worked for Kissinger, too. Maybe CIA Director Panetta knows. He, too, worked in the Nixon administration. Funny, isn’t it? Defense, Treasury and CIA.

NSC advisor Jones: “I take my daily orders from Dr. Kissinger”

Last week a caller to the Alex Jones Show mentioned a speech transcript posted on the CFR website where U.S. National Security Adviser Jones declared the following:

Thank you for that wonderful tribute to Henry Kissinger yesterday. Congratulations. As the most recent National Security Advisor of the United States, I take my daily orders from Dr. Kissinger, filtered down through Generaal (sic) Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Berger, who is also here. We have a chain of command in the National Security Council that exists today.

Jones made the remark at the 45th Munich Conference on Security Policy at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof on February 8, 2009.

Mr. Jones is basically telling us the National Security Council is run by Henry Kissinger. The NSC is the principal forum used by Obama for considering national security and foreign policy matters. Biden, Clinton, Geithner, Gates, Mullen, Emanuel, Summers, and others are listed as participants, but not Henry Kissinger.

In 2006, the Associated Press reported that Kissinger advised Bush and Cheney, a fact included in Bob Woodward’s book “State of Denial.”

In other words, the Bush and Obama administrations — never mind the “change” rhetoric — receive the same advice (instructions) from the ruling elite.

Earlier this year, Kissinger went on the floor of the stock market to declare Obama had a chance to create a New World Order.

Said Kissinger:

He can give a new impetus to American Foreign policy, partly because the perception of him is so extraordinary around the world. I think his task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when really a New World Order can be created — it’s a great opportunity, it isn’t just a crisis.

Kissinger — along with David Rockefeller, Paul Arthur Allaire, and Richard Holbrooke — directs the American Friends of Bilderberg. He is also connected to the globalist Aspen Institute, the Committee of 300, the Trilateral Commission, and sits on the advisory board of JP Morgan Chase.

“Kissinger has been patiently waiting since at least 1973 for his New World Order egg to hatch,” notes the August Review.

Kissinger earlier praised Obama’s picks for economic recovery, and why not?

Obama picked Trilateral Commission wonder boy Timothy Geithner to be Secretary of the Treasury. The rest of the team are protégés of Robert Rubin, also a Trilateral and former Treasury Secretary under Clinton.

Obama’s top foreign policy advisor has been Zbigniew Brzezinski, the co-founder of the Trilateral Commission with David Rockefeller.

Finally, before Obama was elected, Kissinger went on the Charlie Rose Show and talked about the New World Order:

But never mind. It’s all a crazy conspiracy theory, never mind another indication that the one-worlders control the president, this time admitted by top NSC honcho James Jones, who just so happens to be a member if the Trilateral Commission.
