Attorney Kurt Haskell and his wife, who witnessed the “sharp-dressed man” help Abdulmutallab board Flight 253 bound for Detroit last Christmas. The vital questions they raised have never been answered.

One year after the “failed” Christmas Day bombing attempt by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, we are more vulnerable than ever. Not from foreign ‘jihadist’ terrorists, or unscanned Thermos containers, but from our own government. If would-be terrorists like Abdulmutallab are our enemy, why have Homeland Security resources been used to threaten and intimidate The People instead of following up on how Abdulmutallab got as far as he did?

What is the real threat we are fighting?

Little did anyone notice, the TSA had already been phasing in body scanners at major airports prior to December 25, 2009 with plans to mainstream them. Before last Christmas, airports like the one I traveled through in Phoenix in October 2009 displayed signs foretelling their imminent arrival. “Why do I have to take off my shoes?” a sign teased, before explaining the need to detect potential explosives. The sign then explained that full-body scanners could soon do away with the need to take off shoes, as the whole body would be examined. That was in the era of Richard Reid, the shoe bomber.

Then Abdulmutallab, a controlled patsy with links to foreign intelligence and supposed-al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki (who in reality is an asset who met secretly at the Pentagon after 9/11), went live with his ‘dud’ underwear bomb. Although it was a complete scare tactic, the ‘failed plot’ sufficiently played up the terror threat that had been waning in the Homeland ever since 9/11.

It was the biggest scare for terrorism in some time, and it has reinvigorated the security theater agenda since, while giving the perfect pretext to implement the body scanners. But it was all a lie (again). The stories of eyewitnesses Kurt Haskell and his wife proved true, as the FBI and other entities had to rework their account again and again to incorporate the known truth. Yet Haskell’s story was never truly followed up on, and we are less safe for it.

Big Sis did draw lessons from the event, acknowledging that Abdulmutallab would change things for US airport security. “There’s been a very significant process of reviewing the lessons learned from the Christmas Day bomber. And in fact, we have adjusted our operating procedures, our interaction both with the NCTC, the terrorist screening center, and other elements of the intelligence community.”

But Janet Napolitano did not ask the right questions, and we are all suffering for it.

Now, a year later, a full on revolt has taken place against the TSA. The agency responded to the anger of The People with the same ineffective, scattershot method it has used to respond to potential threats of terror– by ramping up the intimidation and invasion factor.

• When websites like WeWontFly.com started protesting the body scanners as well as the invasive ‘enhanced’ pat down procedures by declaring an ‘OptOut’ protest during the Thanksgiving Holiday, Homeland Security and the TSA responded by standing down, abandoning the supposedly necessary body scanners for days on end to avoid bad publicity. Weeks later, it emerged that DHS had targeted the website, posting derogatory comments at WeWontFly.com, childishly chiding ‘you won’t change anything.’

• When would-be San Diego passenger John Tyner refused a pat down, telling his TSA agent ‘Don’t touch my junk or I’ll have you arrested,’ the TSA responded by intimidating Tyner. Not only was he not allowed to board, but he was seemingly not allowed to leave the airport. A shadowy TSA bureaucrat then threatened to sue him for $11,000. Why? Because he objected to the Constitution-shredding, unwarranted & invasive pat down and wanted to simply leave?

• When a 56-year old woman with a pacemaker, who happens to have been a rape victim, refused to have her breasts groped by TSA, they responded by having her dragged away 25-feet and arrested by police. All because she objected to the violation of the Constitution and of her body.

• When one of the many pilots who have objected to the radiating body scanners and invasive pat downs asks “Why?” and demonstrated the open-security risk and double-standard that airport employees working on the ground with planes only have to swipe an ID and do not go through checks, Homeland Security responded to his video posting with a stasi home raid. The full extent of his “punishment” is now under review.

• When Homeland Security and the TSA had nothing else to go on this Christmas, they manifested a new paranoid warning about the potential terrorist usage of Thermos-type containers, just so there’s one more random item to molest passengers about (liquids are already supposedly banned).

All these incidents and more make one think the TSA and Homeland Security have gotten a little touchy about criticism, conscience and non-compliance on the part of the ordinary passengers, airline pilots, flight attendants and so forth that they are supposedly in place to protect. But it all still misses the point– the point of what is really going on behind the scenes to cause such panic. But, of course, answering that question is against the interests of the powers-that-be.

The TSA’s 2010 Reign of Terror was initiated by Abdulmutallab, and the imperative that every individual be screened down to the skin. Yet it still has not been satisfactorily investigated as to how he was able to board the plane he allegedly intended to bring down. Doesn’t this seem like the most outrageous lack of security imaginable?

Other failed plots have been just as dubious. Even figures like Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera have spoken out against the absurdity and the horror of so many “bogus” failed-terror plots that inevitably turn out to be FBI run “stings” where, in many cases, the agency provided the bomb, showed radical individuals how to use it, then provoked them into taking action. Luckily, most of these smaller-scale incidents were destined to be ‘duds’– scary enough to make headlines and urge vigilance, but were in the end no real incident. But that was not the case in 1993 when the FBI facilitated the bombing of the World Trade Center (on record).

Nevertheless, our government has propagandized the “unknowability” of the terror being waged against us since 9/11, while repeatedly failing to inform the public that many of these incidents were brought to fruition at the behests of the FBI or other protective agency. What are the real implications of such deceptions, and how can we ever be secure if this reality is ignored?

Eyewitness Kurt Haskell detailed his account of the “sharp-dressed man,” who he witnessed helping Abdulmutallab, who had no passport, board the plane. Despite Haskell’s being proven right, there has been no known follow-up whatsoever into the identity or whereabouts of this accomplice.

FLASHBACK: KURT HASKELL ON THE ALEX JONES SHOW – DECEMBER 29, 2009 – WHO IS THE SHARP-DRESSED MAN?

If Abdulmutallab’s attempt to strike terror in the heart of the United States was a legitimate terror attempt, than surely the brightest anti-terror minds at Homeland Security have already ascertained that a maximum level of scanning, patting down, and breast-groping could not stop a terrorist with connections that override the system. This was a factor with many of the alleged 9/11 hijackers, who were given visas and allowed into the country despite popping up on the terror watch lists. It is a critical factor again in the case of Abdulmutallab, who by all accounts, did not have to pass through security or present proper identification at all, but was rather allowed on to the plane via the connections and explanations provided by the yet-unidentified “sharp dressed man.”

As the Online Journal encapsulates, “Not amused, Kurt Haskell wanted to know who this Indian-looking man was. When the F.B.I. visited him four days after the incident, Haskell asked if they had brought the Amsterdam security video so he could help to identify this enabler of terrorism, “but they acted as though my request was ridiculous.” There was no follow up investigation. Someone did bother to phone Haskell, however, to warn him, rather menacingly, that it was “in [his] best interest to stop talking publicly” about this episode.”

• When Kurt Haskell warned about other relevant factors he’d witnessed, he was not only ignored but told menacingly to keep quiet.

The F.B.I. visited Haskell, and “acted as though his request was ridiculous” when he hoped to check the security cameras in Amsterdam for evidence of the man’s identity or other clues that could point to the truth. One year later, we’re all still waiting for news of the Sharp Dressed Man before the bullying tactics of the TSA help stop practical travel altogether.

• And when the Christmas season approaches again, the Department of Homeland Security, the F.B.I. and TSA do not try to understand the truth about how past terror incidents were able to happen in order to prevent them; instead, they issue unspecific and unintelligible general terror warnings to incite holiday fear. Stay vigilant, they whisper, but never ask why.

Christmas Day One Year Later-The Underwear Bomber-Case Closed
by Kurt Haskell from Thailand

I've been attempting to write this article for the last 36 hours but the internet has been out at our hotel...............

It has been one year since the Underwear Bomber incident that changed my life. I'm not going to rehash the entire story of my account, as that is available here in my past postings on this blog. I just have a few things to say that I've been thinking about as I hike through the jungles of Thailand.

On January 28, 2010 I first posted that the Sharp Dressed Man was a U.S. Government Agent.

http://haskellfamily.blogspot.com/2010/01/truth-about-flight-253-has-been.html

I am now nearly 100% certain that I am correct.

Three days after I wrote the above blog post, I wrote the following post, which discusses what I considered to be the most important remaining questions regarding flight 253.

The third question that I asked, "Was the bomb intended to explode?", to me, is the entire key to the story and I believe it has been answered.

On January 31, 2010 I never would have dreamt of a scenario in which the U.S. Government would ADMIT that it was handing out fake bombs to terrorists, but that has now happened on two occasions that I'm aware of in 2010:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=11684350

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/27/mohamed-osman-mohamud-portland-car-bomb_n_788695.html

Also, if you take a look at this interview with the college kid that sat next to Umar (I refuse to call him a terrorist as he is a mere patsy) you can see that the U.S. Government seized all of his clothes:

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=123821351

The above three articles when taken together definitively solve the entire underwear bomber episode. The first two represent the modus operandi of the FBI/CIA, which is if nobody get hurt, fake bombs are o.k. I will discuss that aspect in a minute. When you look deeply at the third article you have to ask the question, why were all of his clothes seized? The bombing substance, allegedly PETN was all over the airplane cabin near Umar's seat. It is not like there was a lack of material to be tested. The truth is that the government seized it all so that nobody could test the real chemical composition to determine that the bomb was indeed a dud. If I would have known that I would be writing this article one year ago, I would have picked up some of the substance as I walked within inches of it.

If you accept that the Underwear Bomber had an intentionally defective bomb /fake bomb, then you need not answer any of the other questions that I posed on January 31, 2010 as the answers are either unnecessay or have only one possible explanation.

Before I get into that discussion, let me state that even if you accept that the bomb was fake, it does not mean that the plot had no victims. The last 10 minutes on flight 253 were the most terrifying moments of my life. For months I did not sleep, and my doctor diagnosed me with post traumatic stress disorder. It was also likely that without the fast acting efforts of a flight attendant with a fire extinguisher, that our plane would have blown up from the fire that resulted from the fake bomb.

Back to why the fake bomb is so important to this story...........

Since it can be almost certainly accepted that the FBI/CIA planted Umar with a fake bomb we must ask a few more questions. Who was the Sharp Dressed Man? The answer is now certain that it was a U.S. Government agent sent to ensure that Umar boarded the plane. Obviosuly, the entire fraudulent plot fails if he fails to board the plane. Who was the Man in Orage? The answer is not really important anymore. It is likely that he supplied Umar with the dud bomb at Schipol Airport and was taken into custody after the bomb residue was found in his carry on bag. The scenario that he lugged it in his undies from Yemen is simply not plausible. One also has to wonder why the U.S. Government chanded its story so many times in relation to this guy. Obviosuly, he is also a U.S. Government agent. Now we must dig a little deeper and ask how did someone get Umar's trust enough to set up the plot and give him a fake bomb. One would have to have a deep involvement in a "terrorist group" in Yemen in order to do so. One person likely wouldn't be able to accomplish winning his trust. Two or three would also be unlikely. We must accept that the U.S. Government has planted numerous "Al Qaeda" plants, perhaps even entire terrorist cells to win the trust of someone like Umar. When we accept this fact, one must ask if, without such a large encouraging environment, Umar would have been a "fake terrorist" at all. It has been reported that Umar is not very intelligent. I don't doubt that at all. Is it reasonable to believe that he could have set up this plot, created a bomb (I sure don't know how to) and attacked an airline without the help of the U.S. Government? No it is not. Without the U.S. Government, Umar would remain an unknown Nigerian.

If we accept what I have stated so far, we must dig a little deeper. The U.S. Government has now been shown to be staging "terrorist" plots with individuals who likely would be unknown without its help. We now must go a little further and question whether there have been any legitimate terrorist attacks ever. I am not well informed enough to answer that question, but in pondering that question you must consider, as uncomfortable as it may be, that the U.S. Government also staged the attacks on September 11, 2001. I will not discuss that further in this post other than to say that the only difference between the attacks on September 11, 2001 and flight 253 is a fast acting flight attendant with a fire extinguisher. Without that flight attendant, flight 253 burns to the ground due to a "deranged terrorist from Yemen."

Next, I would like to address why the U.S. Government would continue to stage such plots. There may be numerous answers to this question, but the answer regarding flight 253 was that the Patriot Act needed to be renewed and body scanners needed to be placed in the airports. What a perfect way to bring body scanners to the airports: stage a fake terrorist bombing when the bomb is in the bombers clothes. You see, if the plot was merely to catch Umar in the act, then he could have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder and received a life sentence. There was no need to allow Umar to light the fake bomb on the plane unless you are staging a propaganda campaign. Not surprisingly, Umar lit the bomb in full view of everyone and not in the bathroom where it would have fizzled, as duds do, and not caused any kind of stir. Allowing Umar to light the dud bomb on the plane served the ultimate plot of the U.S. Government, which was to renew the Patriot Act and get body scanners in the airports. It is too obvious. Why the U.S. Government is attempting to raid the treasury of funds and take away our Constitutional rights is unclear. There are many possibilities and I will not discuss them here. What can't be argued is that the U.S. Government is in fact engaging in such a propaganda campaign. I suspect in 2011 we will see more fake terrorist attacks targeted to take away specific rights of U.S. citizens. Fake plots that come to mind are bombings of malls, trains, boats, universities and sporting events (Likely by U.S. citizens this time) followed by a security solution that will involve the loss of rights and drain the treasury further. Stay tuned.

It is unfortunate that the USA has become what it has, which is the true global terrorist. This is no longer your grandmother's red, white and blue USA. My support in my government due to this incident has become nil. When I tried to help in the investigation the government lied. It put out false propaganda stating "We've seen nothing in 200 hours of video" "No man in orange" "No sharp dressed man" and even stooped so low as to have another passenger call me to try and tell me I didn't see what I did. Unbelievable. Further, I watched as pictures of Umar's underwear and passport were shown on tv. I have figured out that with the U.S. Government, what's up is down and what's down is up. The releases of those photos told me that they were fake. Meanwhile, the Schipol Airport video that would reveal the truth remains hidden. Call me what you will, but my beliefs are entirely justified.

What is also etirely disturbing to me is that the media does not do any investigative journalism. My claims have not been followed up on. I have discoverd that the media is nothing but a mouthpiece for the U.S Government. I saw a "documentary" put out by the BBC that showed Umar walking through security and showing his passport. Come on. When it is said that a picture speaks a thousand words it certainly does. That reinforcement made many more people believe in the official story.

Lastly, I must comment on the recent conspiracy charges that have been brought against Umar:

http://detnews.com/article/20101217/METRO/12170394/Suspected-%E2%80%98underwear-bomber%E2%80%99-arraigned-on-terror-conspiracy-charges

I have to ask why these charges have been brought so late in the game. To me the answer is clear. Only when negotiations on a plea deal broke down were these charges brought. Why? They are being used as a hammer to force a plea deal. The U.S. Government DOES NOT WANT to go to trial with Umar, who now knows that he was duped, representing himself. I blogged previously on why I thought that this scenario would be one of the greatest events in the history of the U.S. More importantly, this charge is one of conspiracy. A conspiracy requires an agreement between at least two individuals. It is obvious that the failure to bring this charge until one year later shows that the U.S. Government did not want to admit to a conspiracy. The indictment reads that Umar conspired with persons known and unknown. We have to ask that if conspirators are known, why are there names not in the indictment? Why are they not being charged? Why are they not on the FBI's 10 most wanted list? The answer could not be more clear: The conspirators are agents of the U.S .Government. Hence, the reluctancy to bring this charge. I remain sceptical that this matter will ever proceed to trial. The trial would be too damaging to the propaganda campaign of the U.S. Government. If somehow it does happen, I will be there everyday, front row center and I will make a victim impact statement.

As I indicated on January 28, 2010, the Sharp Dressed Man was indeed a U.S. Government agent. To those of you that supported me over the last year I thank you. God knows there were times when I needed it. To those who doubted me, it is time for your Christmas dinner and crow is being served.

MSM doesn't mention facts, they follow a script.. This well dressed man has been erased fom the memory banks of the majority, that is if MSM even mentioned it.
Taking this one step further, analyse the fact the controllers had this space monkey (dupe) tie a combustable to his testicles, this bomb was but a few inches in length similar to a condom.
Tell me, what sane and above moronic individual would fall for this setup. Bear in mind the sence of humor within the ranks of the Intell comunity, be certain they were having a belly laugh when they sent this dupe on his grandious mission. Two birds in the hand, their fund raiser (agenda)continues and they burned the balllls of this guy.......

Feud rages over underwear bombing evidence

A legal feud is underway in federal court over who gets to see evidence involving the so-called underwear bomber, charged with trying to blow up an airplane over Detroit last Christmas.

Anthony Chambers, the standby lawyer who is trying to help the Nigerian defendant, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, says he needs to share certain sensitive records with his staff, lawyers and experts in order to fulfill his duties. But federal prosecutors are trying to limit who sees that information, holding it’s not clear if Abdulmutallab – who has insisted on representing himself – wants his records shared with others.

In a motion filed today in U.S. District Court in Detroit, federal prosecutors urged the court to deny Chambers’ request – stated in a Nov. 10 letter – that he be allowed to share certain discovery material with attorneys, paralegals and legal experts.

"Nowhere in the letter is there any reference to the desires or decision of the defendant, who is his own attorney, about these matters," wrote Cathleen Corken, Jonathan Tukel and Michael Martin – the three prosecutors handling the case.

A federal judge last month ordered prosecutors to turn over discovery records to Chambers, who has since asked the court for permission to share that information with attorneys, paralegals and potential experts that may be used.

"Without the assistance of my legal staff I will not be able to fulfill my duties," Chambers wrote in a Nov. 10 letter.

But prosecutors argue that it’s not clear what Abdulmutallab’s wishes are regarding the disclosure of evidence, stating in court documents that there is “ “no indication” that Abdulmutallab wants any additional persons to have access to discovery. Moreover, they wrote, when asked at a recent hearing whether he even wanted his standby attorney to have discovery, “the defendant stated that he did not.”

"While we would ordinarily readily agree to allow an attorney's staff to have access to discovery materials to assist the attorney, this is not an ordinary case," the prosecutors wrote. "Standby counsel does not represent Mr. Abdulmutallab, and the government seeks to avoid a situation where the defendant could later claim that standby counsel, standby counsel's staff, or both tried to or succeeded in dictating strategic choices to him over his objection."
