I havent heard what Enterprise did to AJ yet, but I'll say this:

I've been renting cars for over a decade, and I have had my own run ins with Enterprise and they have screwed me over each and every time.

I don't mean the employees, they were fine.  "It's company policy" I heard every time from the management, even when I had proven I was correct with the facts, in black and white in their face, "It's company policy".

And that was after they wanted me to fill out an APPLICATION to request them to consider allowing me to rent a car which required more info than it takes to get a job, buy a house, and get a drivers license all combined.  I mean they wanted your past job references, current employers contact info, past 3 residences, names+numbers+addresses+occupation of 3 friends AND family members, what vehicles you own, and on and on!!! It was down right offensive.
NEVER AGAIN. I hate Enterprise.

I walked over to the HERTZ booth, threw down my license and debit card WITHOUT A RESERVATION and had a car 5 minutes later.

I'm still pissed about ENTERPRISE doing that to me so many times.

I've had at  two friends complain to me about Enterprise in the last few years. Both had had cars damaged in accidents that weren't their fault and rented a temporary replacement and gotten angry at crap the company pulled on them. I rented from them once and apart from being extremely overcharged for what I got, didn't have any complaints.
