I know this may not be popular with a lot of people on this forum. I am 100% for a new investigation of 911 and believe it is important but I think that there is absolutely no need to push Ron Paul or even evaluate his statements on this issue. Some perspective is badly needed before people rush headlong into criticism.
Firstly, why do we ask for 911 truth to come out? The answer is simply that if the public is made more aware of the existence of government sponsored terror then they will wake up to the whole paradigm of how they are already under tyranny and then overturn it. How will they overturn it? Well a good start would be getting someone like Ron Paul elected. (I emphasise start, no one man can do this by himself).
Secondly, Ron Paul has never shied away from talking about government sponsored terror. In fact it is the staple of his speeches, to talk about the unfairness of American foreign policy on Americans and foreign peoples alike. If you have woken up to the reality of government sponsored terror within the last 5 years, remember that Ron Paul has been alive to it for 20, 30 years and been voting accordingly for all that time.
Thirdly, Ron Paul's whole aim is to overturn the power structure that feeds the monster that enables it to carry out these kind of operations and return the power to the people. To attack him now is to attack the biggest greatest hope there is for liberty.
Fourthly, imagine what a Ron Paul administration would be like. It would be dedicated to truth and liberty. If the people demanded a new independent 911 investigation (which they do), then he would grant it, irrespective of his own personal views whatever they may be. Can you imagine any other candidate who would do that? All you truthers out there, please understand that he doesnt even have to mention the cause to benefit it.
Lastly, and almost most importantly, understand this. Ask yourself, why did Glenn Beck ask the question? He asked the question specifically for the purpose of dividing the movement. He wins either way. If Ron Paul doesn't commit himself to 911 truth, then half his movement are disgruntled, if he does then it then adds a new layer of complexity to Ron Paul winning more support. Look at the political reality at the moment. The mainstream media have pulled out every effort over the last 6 years to brand anyone who wants more answers on 911 as either a simpleminded fool or on a par with a holocaust denier. Of course the majority of those who question 911 truth are the brightest and best, but to extend his reach, Ron Paul now has to appeal to everyone, including those brainwashed by the MSM, to those who, at the barest mention of 911 truth just switch off. Can you imagine what the MSM would do if he came out for 911 truth? It would be a stick to beat him with every time his name was mentioned. At the moment, the only sticks they have are 'his success is only limited to the internet', or 'he isn't doing well in the polls', both of which will change.
If we make 911 a national issue in the minds of every citizen in the US and worldwide, the people win, the power structure cannot sustain itself and liberty will once again rise. If we make Ron Paul's ambiguity on 911 an issue, Glenn Beck wins, the NWO wins, and the exact outcome that they intended comes to fruition. Please get some perspective and try to tell the difference between the two. A great general can choose his battles and his battleground. A poor one rushes into confrontation whenever he is riled by his enemy. The mark of a successful warrior is one that is goal oriented and does not get lost in seeming contradictions along the way. Get back fully behind Ron Paul. You have nothing to prove. If you are still in any doubt about his sincerity (God knows how you can be), go to you tube and watch the video I just saw with an interview with Ron Paul in 1988 where he is saying the exact same things he is saying now 20 years ago! And he is right on every one. Ask yourself, if you even had the same opinions 3 or 4 years ago as you have now. And then you'll realise what a gem we have right here. Be a warrior, focus on the goal, don't kill the golden goose.

Good point bernayssucks, I personally support Ron Paul for his overarching ideals(his bravery and tenacity don't hurt, either)... I sincerely hope that all his supporters understand this, keep their eye on the goal and not fall for the establishments attempts to divided and conquer us.
