Derrrr...NWO prepping attack on free speech. The only way this insanity gets distributed is if the NWO IS DISTRIBUTING IT!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS A PROVACATEUR OPERATION! The NWO forces this to be published (when 300 million people do not want it published) so they can use it to monitor all electronic books, pdfs, etc. They already monitor this, but they do it illegally, they want even more BS legislation insanity.
Threats of Amazon boycott over sales of ‘Pedophile’s Guide’ http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/11/amazon-boycott-pedophiles-guide/By The Associated Press Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 -- 4:13 pm Amazon.com Inc. is selling a self-published guide that offers advice to pedophiles, and that has generated outrage on the Internet and threats to boycott the retailer. The availability of "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover's Code of Conduct" calls into question whether Amazon has any procedures — or even an obligation — to vet books before they are sold in its online stores. Amazon did not respond to multiple e-mail and phone messages. The title is an electronic book available for Amazon's Kindle e-reader and the company's software for reading Kindle books on mobile phones and computers. Amazon allows authors to submit their own works and shares revenue with them.

Amazon.com should be up on charges of distributing child pornography. Any parent that still uses their services is an idiot.
Forget about boycotting until they stop selling it. The boycott should be permanent.
This $hit is intentional, not accidental.
Oops, we didn't realize we were openly selling kiddie porn. Right.
Look at the top of this corporation and you will fing Illumainati pervs. 100% guaranteed.

It is a simple false flag on the first amendment. On one hand if you try to defend the first then you a labeled as for pedophilia. On the other you are FOR the government determining what is published or not. I have to point out that this (as despicable as it is) that this dose not show (pictures) of any abuse of children (pedophilia) as is defined by the law. See they already tried this somewhat successfully with explosives books "anarchists bible" and not so successfully with firearms manuals. They are just ratcheting up the discomfort for supporting the first amendments. The only thing you can do to not fall into the trap is to have people(they already are) denouncing and protesting (both do not involve government intervention). Besides you don't even need a manual because the TSA is handing them out to all their employees.

Maybe we should have a government agency to protect us from all this indecency, we could call it the "ministry of truth".

I think this is a red herring equating that if you support free speech you support child molestation and abuse.

Yes I just saw it on my local news that it is no longer available, but they don't know if Amazon or the author pulled it. The title and info is still there, and Amazon didn't want to push censorship, so maybe it was the author.

'Pedophile Guide' Author Confident E-Book Will Be Back on Amazon http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/11/11/pedophile-guide-author-confident-title-return-amazon/?test=latestnewsBy Joshua Rhett Miller The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure" is currently not available on Amazon following calls for a boycott of the online retail giant, but the man who wrote the e-book is confident that it will be back. Meanwhile, pedophiles who are upset that they can't buy Phillip Greaves' e-book will have no trouble finding and purchasing other books that advocate sexual relations with children, an online search reveals. Greaves, a 47-year-old retired nurse's aide in Pueblo, Colo., said Thursday that nearly 300 copies of his self-published e-book were sold on Amazon.com's Kindle Store in the past day, prior to its disappearance from the site. He said he also received more than 3,000 complaints about the $4.79 e-book, which seeks to make "pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them," according to the product description that was posted while the book was available for sale.

EXACTLY! That is the goal of this government operation. The author is a government agent part of a provocateur campaign to end free speech. That is the entire point. He wrote a New World Order book on being a pedaphole and the local cops were going to investigate. But they were told BACK OFF YOU LOCAL HILLBILLIES! THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS IN CHARGE! HE WORKS OFR US AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO QUESTION HIM BY ORDERS OF YOUR MASTER! So the local cops backed off and are not allowed to arrest him for anything. He could have 5,000 bones burried in his yard for all we know viewable from the moon. But the local cops are told: DO AS WE TELL YOU BOY! YOU WORK FOR US! WE OWN YOU AND YOU DO AS WE SAY! And so he is able to write and distribute the book because the local cops have been given their orders and they must follow them. But let's talk about something much more interesting... GOOGLE CANNOT CENSOR THE PEDAPHILE BOOK BUT THEY CENSOR EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT THE MYSTERIOUS PHILLIP R. GREAVES II WRITTEN BEFORE 5 MONTHS AGO... Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 1,000% PSYOPS FALSE FLAG TO ALLOW THE IBM SENSE AND RESPONSE SYSTEMS TO HAVE 100% CONTROL OVER EVERY DOCUMENT ON EVERY COMPUTER EVEN CONTROL OF DOCUMENTS AS YOU TYPE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! der dee f**king der deeeee derrrrrrrrrrrr

This guy is never arrested on "suspicion of child porn" but he writes a PhD level 5,000 hour study on how to create child porn and pedaphile communities and a pedaphile New World Order?!?!?! And he is not a government agent to be used in a new form of project ore or some other sting operation and to be used to create new legislation a clear violation of the US Patriot Act:
And thousands of people all over the world are tagged and bagged on SUSPICION of doing less than .0000001% of the illegal activity this guy has done? Judge for yourself on the power law enforcement has to arrest someone on suspicion of child porn or pedaphilia: http://www.cyber-rights.org/reports/child.htm
in January 2003
Case Report by Dr. Yaman Akdeniz: Court of Appeal Clarifies the Law on Downloading Child Pornography from the Web, published in the Computer Law & Security Report Vol. 18 no. 6 2002, pp 433-435.
BBC News, Operation Ore: Can the UK cope? 13 January, 2003
Operation Ore - May 2002 - Ongoing
Launched after FBI passed credit card details of 7300 alleged British subscribers to a child porn gateway.
About 1300 arrested, including teachers, care workers, social workers, soldiers, surgeons and 50 police officers.
Forty children - 28 in London - are now under protective care.
The investigation, which will run at least until July 2003, has focused on anyone with access to children and in positions of authority, such as the police or magistrates.
Detective Constable Brian Stevens, 41 - an officer on the Holly and Jessica double-murder case - has been charged with indecently assaulting three children and possessing indecent photos. The charges are not related to the double murder in Soham.
Police say many child porn sites are run from eastern Europe. Britain's high-tech crime unit has been working with police in countries such as Romania to shut them down.
110 held in police crackdown on internet child porn 17/01/2003 - 10:55:47
A British police force today said it had arrested more than 100 people suspected of downloading child pornography from the Internet in just four weeks. Sussex Police has made 110 arrests as part of Operation Ore, the national crackdown on child abuse on the net, and seized more than 1,000 computers from addresses across both the east and west of the county. Det Chief Insp Alan Chambers, leading the forces part in Operation Ore, said: As far as the numbers of people involved is concerned, the situation in Sussex is no better and no worse than elsewhere in the country. We have made good progress in working through the names that were supplied to us of people who had used their credit cards to purchase images of child abuse. The aim of the Sussex operation is to identify those people who pose a risk to child safety and actively to target them in order to protect children. At the same time we have worked closely with the support of the various social services departments across Sussex to ensure the welfare of affected children. We have now taken positive action against 158 people on the list of names supplied to us by the National Crime Squad. Positive action refers to activity designed to reduce the potential threat to child safety. This has included executing warrants whenever the identity of the person has been confirmed. Mr Chambers added a further 28 people known to have accessed child porn had since left Sussex but their details had been passed to other forces. He said: We are still actively progressing the remaining cases: those involved can expect a visit from Sussex Police soon. Every image that we are talking about is a picture of the sexual abuse of a child. By directing our resources towards people who purchase these images, Sussex Police is taking the opportunity to disrupt the activities of those who may also be committing physical offences against children within Sussex, and also to disrupt the market for child pornography which victimises children across the world.
Teacher, doctor nabbed in porn probe Police make plea for resources to stop spread of 'evil'
JOSH RUBIN, STAFF REPORTER THESTAR.COM, WITH FILES FROM CANADIAN PRESS, Jan. 16, 2003. 06:56 PM
Toronto police have targeted 241 pedophile suspects in the GTA who allegedly paid to view pornographic images on the Internet that investigators described today as 'evil'. Among those arrested across Canada already are a police officer, a teacher and a doctor. "I think it's reasonable to assume that once we go through the list we'll come across some pretty high-profile people,'' said Det.-Sgt. Paul Gillespie, who leads the Toronto police force's sex crimes unit. Neither Gillespie nor OPP Det.-Insp. Robert Matthews would describe exactly what kind of pornography has been seized, but both said they were disturbed by what they'd seen. Gillespie called the images "evil," while Matthews said he too was horrified. "Paul and I have seen things that I would never want any other human being to record in their mind,'' said Matthews. The probe, called Project Snowball in Canada, has targeted more than 2,000 Canadian suspects, Gillespie said. Thirty-two people have been charged and 42 charges have been laid. The probe stems from the same worldwide sting that garnered headlines earlier this week when The Who guitarist Pete Townshend was arrested for allegedly making illegal images of children in the U.K. Canadian investigators made a plea today regarding the resources police have to deal with child pornography distributed over the Internet. "International co-operation is a dream - national co-operation is a nightmare," Gillespie told a Toronto news conference. "I may have limited resources but my officers have unlimited resourcefulness. ... It is time for those responsible on a federal level to live up to their responsibility. We need help." Matthews said his force simply doesn't have the money and manpower it needs to deal with the problem. "The resources it takes to get these cases before the courts and through the courts are staggering,'' he concurred. American investigators say they've traced 250,000 suspected pedophiles around the world through credit-card details on child porn sites. British police say they have arrested more than 1,300 people as they go through a list of 7,000 people suspected to accessing illegal Internet sites. Those arrested so far in what British police call Operation Ore include 50 police officers, social workers, teachers and judges. Project Snowball was the only significant Canadian offshoot of Project Avalanche, a U.S. investigation that resulted in the arrest of Texas kiddie-porn magnates Thomas and Janice Reedy. Their business, Landslide Productions Inc., often grossed $1.4 million US per month from subscribers paying as little as $14.95 US to access Web sites with names like Cyber Lolita and Child Rape. "That would allow them 30 days access to some of the most evil images of child abuse you can imagine," Gillespie said. Thomas Reedy was sentenced in August 2001 to 1,335 years in prison - the first-ever life sentence for distributing child porn, Matthews said. By contrast, one of the names on the list - Joseph Downey, 27, of Elora, Ont. - was sentenced in October to just 14 months of house arrest after police found more than 500 pieces of child porn on his computer. Sentences like Downey's are "a joke," Matthews spat. Investigating kiddie porn is taxing on investigators, who are often forced to look at thousands of images, some depicting infants so young they still have their umbilical clamps attached. In a statement today, Canadian Alliance justice critic Vic Toews assailed the federal Liberals for failing to get their priorities straight. "For years front-line officers have pleaded for federal support to combat child exploitation," he said. "The only response from the Liberals was to slash police resources and enact complex legislation that will do nothing to protect children." Suzanne Thebarge, spokeswoman for federal Justice Minister Martin Cauchon, said Ottawa is indeed working with the provinces to strengthen Canada's ability to battle child pornography. "The federal, provincial and territorial governments are taking this matter very seriously and that's why we are continuing to work toward the safeguards in the well-being of Canadian children," Thebarge said. She denied that the federal government is failing in its efforts. "I think we are living (up) to our responsibilities," she said. "It's an ongoing process. Children are a priority for this government." She cited Bill C-15A, which made Canada's child-porn laws the toughest in the world when it was passed by Parliament last year. It created new offences "to target criminals who use the Internet to lure and exploit children for sexual purposes and to transmit, make available, export and intentionally access child pornography." Ontario Premier Ernie Eves, whose own government was lauded at the news conference today for funding an expansion of police resources, agreed the time has come for a co-ordinated effort between Ottawa and the provinces. "I think it would be a good thing for both the federal and provincial governments to sit down ... to discuss how we can take a much firmer position than we have to date."
BBC News, Thirty held over online child porn, 20 May, 2002 More than 30 people suspected of buying paedophile pornography on the web have been arrested in raids across the UK. Officers from 30 forces searched about 50 houses and flats across Britain. Operation Ore targeted computer users suspected of accessing US-based websites which sell images of children aged as young as five being sexually abused. US authorities gave the National Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS) details of the sites' subscribers between May 1999 and the summer of 2001. The NCIS' Serious Sex Offenders Unit identified a "significant number" of suspects, and Monday's operation was co-ordinated by the National Crime Squad. Those arrested include three men - aged 62, 54 and 35 - being held in Merseyside, a 32-year-old man arrested in Scvnthorpe and another, 64, arrested in Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, Another man, aged 30, was arrested at an address in Normanton, near Wakefield, West Yorkshire where two computers were seized for forensic examinations. A man, 44, from the Sandbach, Cheshire has been released on police bail pending further inquiries. In London, the Metropolitan Police Paedophile Unit also seized computer equipment from two homes in Battersea and Camden. Deputy Assistant Commissioner and Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) spokeswoman on internet child abuse Carole Howlett said: "A significant proportion of people involved in child abuse online are themselves actual abusers." NCIS UK Tactical Services director Vincent Harvey added: "Every image of a child being sexually abused is an image of a crime scene and each photograph is that of a victim. "Using the sophisticated technology along with traditional detective and analytical work we can now make sure there is no place for paedophiles operating online to hide." The National Crime Squad's Detective Superintendent Peter Spindler said: "This is an excellent example of all the UK policing agencies coming together in a co-ordinated way to tackle a relatively new and growing problem. "This is the first time we have targeted people who use the internet to buy images of children being sexually abused. "We will continue these operations to protect children and show paedophiles that law enforcement agencies will find them regardless of which area of the internet they use." Home Office minister Beverley Hughes, who chairs the government's task force on child protection on the internet, said the operation sent "a clear signal to such criminals that they cannot hide". "People who access child pornography are fuelling the widespread and often organised sexual abuse of children by paedophiles across the world." "The government is determined to give the highest priority to protecting our children, on and off-line, and to searching out and arresting those who prey upon them. "We will continue to work with law enforcement, industry, children's charities and others to tackle the dangers posed by online paedophiles and ensure the UK provides a safe environment for legitimate internet users."
Ananova News, Police have launched the biggest ever crackdown in Britain on internet child pornography, 24 April, 2002
Greater Manchester Police say 75 warrants have been executed nationwide.
Merseyside Police have seized computer equipment during raids on the Wirral and in Walton, Liverpool. A Wirral man in his twenties has been arrested. The operation, codenamed Magenta, follows a six-month investigation by 34 police forces under the Protection of Children Act. It was led jointly by officers from Hertfordshire Police's child protection and investigation unit and Greater Manchester Police's abusive images unit. A total of 75 warrants were carried out simultaneously focusing on paedophiles who used internet chatrooms to advertise and exchange images of children being abused. Inspector Keith Tilley, head of Hertfordshire Police's child protection and investigation unit said: "Hertfordshire, along with other forces, will continue to work to identify and track down those individuals who believe the internet gives them anonymity to continue their trade in abusive images of children. "This is not the case and further operations like today's will take place in the future."
Inspector Terry Jones, from Greater Manchester Police's abusive images unit, added: "Today's operation is primarily about two things: firstly, to closely examine the activities of individuals who have engaged in the exchange of child abuse material and determine what access they have to real children. "Secondly, it is a clear demonstration that forces can work together to tackle new challenges posed by the internet."

Manchester Evening News, Internet porn cops praised, 24 April, 2002 POLICE in Greater Manchester have been praised in the European Parliament for their battle against child porn. Labour's Arlene McCarthy told fellow MEPs that the force's Abusive Images Unit had been involved in a major operation against internet perverts in Britain. "Internet paedophilia is a rising phenomenon," she told the parliament in Strasbourg. She is working with children's charities including the NSPCC to demand tough action against Internet child abusers. Ms McCarthy praised the work of Det InspTerry Jones and his anti-porn team in Manchester for their expertise in tracking down and convicting child abusers.
SurfControl plays key role in Operation Magenta, targeting Internet paedophile activity Congleton, UK (April 24, 2002) - Software developed by SurfControl, the world's number one web and email filtering company, has played a critical role in Operation Magenta, the nation wide crackdown on paedophile Internet activity which culminated in today's dawn raids. The Abusive Images Unit of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and the Child Protection and Investigation Unit of the Hertfordshire Constabulary drove the six month investigation. Thirty five forces in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales were involved in the simultaneous execution of 75 warrants under the Protection of Children Act, at 0700 hours this morning, Wednesday 24 April. Steve Purdham, chief executive for SurfControl, commented: "With specialist software now at the disposal of the police, it is impossible for those who use the Internet illegally to remain anonymous." SurfControl began working with the GMP's Obscene Publications Unit in 2000, providing Internet filtering expertise and software. In 2001, the company's technology assisted the highly successful anti-paedophile operation, Operation Appal. Using software produced by SurfControl, GMP and Hertfordshire Constabulary officers have once again been able to target people in the UK who posses and distribute indecent images of children via the Internet. Inspector Keith Tilley, Head of Hertfordshire Constabulary's Child Protection and Investigation Unit, said: "Today's nation wide operation should send out a loud message to those people who use chat rooms to trade in indecent images of children. This activity is unlawful and is committed by people who often go on to commit further offences of abuse against vulnerable children. Hertfordshire, along with other forces, will continue to work to identify and track down those individuals who believe the Internet gives them anonymity to continue their trade in abusive images of children. This is not the case and further operations like today's will take place in the future." Inspector Terry Jones from GMP's Abusive Images Unit added: "Today's operation is primarily about two things: firstly, to closely examine the activities of individuals who have actively engaged in the exchange of child abuse material, and to determine what access they have to real children; secondly, a clear demonstration that forces can work together to tackle new challenges posed by the Internet." Following the pioneering work with the GMP and Hertfordshire Constabulary, SurfControl has designed and developed a specialist software tool to facilitate the tracking and tracing of illegal and threatening activity in chat rooms. SurfControl has announced that the solution will shortly be made available to police forces across the UK. SurfControl's chief executive Purdham continued: "SurfControl is committed to enabling responsible Internet use and a key part of this is helping to ensure children are protected from internet-related risks. The illegal use of chat rooms by paedophiles is an extremely serious issue, and we're very pleased to be working with police forces, such as Greater Manchester and Hertfordshire, who are challenging this difficult area. This is an excellent example of bringing together the different skill sets of the public and private sectors to create a positive result for the community. Purdham concluded: "This joint project shows that the tools are available to help safeguard the Internet. Whether people are online at home or in the workplace, they can be effectively protected against inappropriate or illegal materials, and against web users with indecent or malicious intent."
Ananova News, US court legalises virtual paedophilia, 16 April, 2002
The US Supreme Court has overthrown a congressional ban on virtual paedophilia. It ruled the First Amendment protects pornography or other sexual images that only appear to depict real children engaged in sex. The judgment is a victory for both pornographers and legitimate artists such as filmmakers. They argued that a broad ban on simulated child sex could make it a crime to depict a sex scene like those in the recent movies Traffic or Lolita. The law was challenged by a trade association for pornographers.
It barred sexually explicit material that "appear(s) to be a minor" or that is advertised in a way that "conveys the impression" that a minor was involved in its creation. The law was Congress' answer to then-emerging computer technology that allowed the computer alteration of innocent images of real children, or the creation from scratch of simulated children posed in sexual acts. The law was an expansion of existing bans on child pornography. Congress had justified the wider ban on grounds that while no real children were harmed in creating the material, real children could be harmed by feeding the prurient appetites of paedophiles or child molesters. The Free Speech Coalition, the pornographers' trade group, said it opposes child pornography but that the law could snare legitimate, if unsavoury, films and photos produced by its members. The group did not challenge a section of the law that banned the use of identifiable children in computer-altered sexual images. The Clinton and Bush administrations defended the law in court.
BBC News, Paedophile trapped by internet images, 6 April, 2002 An internet paedophile has been jailed following the first surveillance operation of its kind in the UK. David Randle was arrested by officers who pinpointed the scene of his crimes by studying the images of them he distributed via the web. A number of other people he is believed to have networked with have also been arrested in Europe, as part of an international operation. Randle, of Richmond Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, was given six life sentences at Nottingham Crown Court after pleading guilty to a string of rapes and indecent assaults on a young girl. Nottinghamshire Police said an investigation was launched in January 2001, when colleagues in Greater Manchester became aware of a series of images circulating on the internet. They depicted the serious sexual and physical abuse of a young girl and officers said they were among the worst they had ever seen. Greater Manchester Police's Abusive Images Unit began analysing the images to identify and trace the scene of the crimes before Randle was arrested on January 9 this year. The operation also involved officers from the National Criminal Intelligence Service, Interpol and Europol. Randle pleaded guilty to six counts of rape, four indecent assaults, two counts of taking indecent images, two counts of making indecent images and two counts of distributing indecent images.
Ananova News, Arrests in 10 countries over child porn, 22 April, 2002
Police in nine European countries and the US have arrested about 25 people for allegedly violating child pornography laws. A police spokesman said arrests have been made in Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark. He declined to name the other four European countries.
"The case is unique because we caught those who have sexually abused the children, not just distributed the child pornography," said Troels Oerting Joergensen of the cyber crime unit of Denmark's national police. Two US citizens were arrested in San Diego, he said, and two Danes in Denmark. He declined to provide further details because the investigation is continuing. "More arrests are soon to be expected in Europe and in the United States," he said. The investigation began last November when Danish police arrested a couple in Ringkoebing, 205 miles west of Copenhagen. They had acted on a tip from Swedish police who had found photographs on the internet showing a man sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl. On his shirt, there was a logo of a Danish company. Danish police identified the man and arrested him with his wife. On the couple's computer, investigators found more photos of the girl. Police also found names of people outside Denmark with whom the couple had exchanged photos through the internet. The couple was not identified in line with Danish privacy rules. They were charged with sexually abusing a child and face up to eight years in prison, if convicted. They were released from jail pending trial. So far between 30 and 35 boys and girls, aged 3 to 15, in 10 countries have been identified. All the children were sexually abused, Mr Oerting Joergensen said.

Synopsis from the publisher's press release: As sexually explicit content is increasingly finding its way onto the Internet, governments and law enforcement bodies are being faced with new and difficult challenges. How can there be effective legislation to regulate obscene and offensive websites when the content produced is perfectly legal in the country of origin and such legislation may be an infringement of human rights? How are the police to deal effectively with so-called cyber-crimes, including the distribution of child pornography, when perpetrators may be located anywhere in the world? While it is agreed globally that efforts must be taken to prevent the production and circulation of child pornography, the debate surrounding explicit content is a complex one which differs from country to country.
In this book Yaman Akdeniz introduces the reader to various aspects of the cyberporn debates in America, Britain, and Europe. The book covers such topics as the issues of civil rights, accessibility of sexually explicit content, the effectiveness of filtering and rating systems in protecting children from sexually explicit content, the extent of child pornography over the Net and global policing initiatives to tackle such material. It presents specific case studies to demonstrate the failure and successes of Internet policing and government attempts to restrict obscene content, and considers the logistics and ethics involved in censoring the World Wide Web.

See 18 USC 2252 which makes it a federal offence to knowingly receive child pornography. Child pornography is defined as: "any visual depiction of "sexually explicit conduct" involving children" by 18 USC 2252 (a) (2) (A).
See also 18 USC 2251 is also closely related which makes it illegal to advertise child pornography.
See New York v. Ferber 458 U.S. 747 (1982) which held that States can prohibit the depiction of minors engaged in sexual conduct. The Court also found that the Miller v. California 413 U.S. 15 (1973).obscenity standard did not apply to child pornography because child pornography is per se obscene.
See Osborne v. Ohio 495 U.S. 103 (1990) where the court upheld a statute making it illegal to possess child pornography. Pseudo-Photographs
None of the US federal or state laws deal with so called pseudo-photographs. It is not illegal to create or possess pornographic images of children by means of computers. Child Pornography Prevention Act 1995 (HR n.a., section 1237) sponsored by Sen. Hatch (R-UT), Abraham (R-MI), Grassley (R-IA), and Thurmond (R-SC) was introduced to criminalize material that depicts children engaging in sexually-explicit conduct whether or not the material was produced with children or entirely without computer. The Bill is in the judiciary committee (September 1995).
Pseudo-photographs will be subject to the Miller obscenity test and other federal laws dealing with obscenity but not child pornography. It will be up to the defendant to prove that the creation of the pictures did not involve minors. CHILD PORNOGRAPHY PREVENTION ACT 1996
The bill originally introduced by Senator Hatch, was included in part of a broad spending Omnibus Consolidated Appropriations Act, 1997 which was signed into law by President Clinton. It had passed the US Senate on September 30, 1996 just hours before the midnight deadline for the start of fiscal year 1997.
It has been amended with a Hatch-Bidden substitute but there has been only small changes. The new legislation expands the definition of child pornography. Section 3 of the 1996 Act, adds a new subsection to 18 U.S.C. 2256(8 ) which now defines child pornography as:
"any visual depiction, including any photograph, film, , video, picture, drawing or computer or computer-generated image or picture, which is produced by electronic, mechanical or other means, of sexually explicit conduct, where: (1) its production involved the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, or; (2) such visual depiction is, or appears to be, of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; (3) such visual depiction has been created, adapted or modified to appear that an `identifiable minor’ is engaging in sexually explicit conduct; or (4) it is advertised, distributed, promoted or presented in such a manner as to convey the impression that it is a visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
The term `identifiable minor’ would be identified in 18 U.S .C. 2256(9) to mean a minor who is capable of being recognised as an actual person by, for example, his face or other distinguishing feature or physical characteristic, although a prosecutor would not be required to prove the minor’s actual identity.
The new 18 U.S.C. 2252A sets mandatory prison sentences of at least 15 years for production and distribution of child pornography. The act also includes and makes subject to the same provison, the receivers of child pornography. 5 years for possession offences and life imprisonment for repear offenders convicted of sexual abuse of a minor.
Section 2 of the 1996 Act includes important findings related to pseudo-photographs and explains why it should be illegal as:
"Computer-generated child pornography results in many of the same types of harm, and poses the same danger to the well-being of children, as photographic child pornography, and provide a compelling governmental interest for prohibiting the production, distribution, possessing, sale or viewing of all forms of child pornography, including computer-generated depictions which are, or appear to be, of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
The 1996 Act may be subject to a legal challenge by some of the civil liberties groups such as ACLU because according to their view, the Act would be unconstitutional because it outlaws images produced without any involvement by an actual child. FREE SPEECH v RENO, U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, (97-16536) - Decembert 1999
Appeal from the United States District Court for the Northern District of California Samuel Conti, District Judge, Presiding Argued and Submitted March 10, 1998--San Francisco, California, Filed December 17, 1999 Before: Warren J. Ferguson and Sidney R. Thomas, Circuit Judges, and Donald W. Molloy,1 District Judge. Opinion by Judge Molloy; Dissent by Judge Ferguson
The court of appeals affirmed a judgment of the district court in part and reversed in part. The court held that the Child Pornography Prevention Act (CPPA) is unconstitutional to the extent that it proscribes computer images that do not involve the use of real children in their production or dissemination.
Section 2556(8 ) of the CPPA defines child pornography as any visual depiction, including computer images, of sexually explicit conduct. Subsection (B) bans sexually explicit depictions that "appear to be" minors; subsection (D) prohibits depictions that "convey the impression" that they contain sex-ually explicit portrayals of minors.
When a statute restricts speech by its content, it is pre-sumptively unconstitutional. The CPPA fails both tests for subjective neutrality: it expressly aims to curb a particular category of expression (child pornography) by singling out that type of expression based on its content, and banning it. Blanket suppression of an entire type of speech is by its very nature a content-discriminating act. The CPPA is not a time, place, or manner regulation.
The statute criminalizes even those materials that do not involve a recognizable minor. While the government is given greater leeway in regulating child pornography, materials or depictions of sexual conduct that do not involve live performance or visual reproductions of live performances retain First Amendment protection.
Congress has no compelling interest in regulating sexually explicit materials that do not contain visual images of actual children.
Any victimization of children that may arise from pedophiles’ sexual responses to pornography apparently depicting children engaging in explicit sexual activity is not a sufficiently compelling justification for the CPPA’s speech restrictions. To hold otherwise would enable the criminalization of figments of creative technology that do not involve any human victim in their creation or presentation.
While computer-generated images of child pornography are repugnant, they do not involve real children, and there is no demonstrated basis to link such images with harm to real children. Absent this nexus, the CPPA does not withstand constitutional scrutiny.
The CPPA’s criminalizing of material that "appears to be a minor" and "conveys the impression" that the material is a minor engaged in explicit sexual activity, is void for vagueness. It does not give the person of ordinary intelligence a reasonable opportunity to know what is prohibited, and fails to provide explicit standards for those who must apply it, with the attendant dangers of arbitrary and discriminatory application.
The Supreme Court has restricted the regulation of pornographic material involving minors because of the harm caused by its creation, not necessarily because of the consequences of its creation. The government’s interest in prohibiting computer-generated child pornographic depictions is not the same as its interest in prohibiting child pornography produced by using actual children. In the latter instance there may be harm to a child. In the former there is no harm to an actual child if no real human is used in the production of the material. What is left is an inconsistent effort to regulate the consequences of abusing children to make such images, even though no children are used in its production. [16] The CPPA’s inclusion of constitutionally protected activity makes it overbroad.
See the full judgment through http://laws.findlaw.com/9th/9716536.html The 1996 Act upheld by a Federal Judge - August 1997
The US Child Pornography Prevention Act of 1996 which bans computer-generated sexual images of children and porn featuring adults who are depicted as minors was upheld by a federal judge on the 12th of August 1997. Rejecting arguments by sex film distributors and the American Civil Liberties Union, U.S. District Judge Samuel Conti said the new law protects children from sexual exploitation without violating freedom of speech.
"Even if no children are involved in the production of sexually explicit materials, the devastating ... effect that such materials have on society and the well-being of children merits the regulation of such images," Conti wrote in the first court ruling on the law’s validity.
He dismissed the ACLU’s fears that the law could criminalize a film of "Romeo and Juliet" or a doctor’s sex education manual. Only pictures that are marketed as child pornography are covered by the law, Conti said.
A spokesman for the film distributors said they planned to appeal. ACLU lawyer Ann Brick, who filed a supporting brief, said the law was broader than Conti made it out to be. Congress did not merely ban computer-generated images of children in sexual activities, but also declared that it was "illegal to use young-looking adults if we don’t like the way you marketed it," Brick said. She said the rationale used by Congress and Conti—that the images would help molesters recruit young victims—would apply equally to "literature that describes sex in a way that makes it seem beautiful."
Justice Department spokesman Joe Krovisky declined comment.
The law, passed last September, enlarged the federal definition of child pornography, which previously covered only erotic pictures of actual minors. Although such material may not be legally obscene, its prohibition has been upheld by the Supreme Court to prevent sexual exploitation of minors. The new law applies to computer-generated images as well as films and photographs. It bans any visual depiction that "is, or appears to be, of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct." Distributors of sexually explicit pictures of adults who appear to be minors can avoid conviction if they can show that they did not advertise or present the material in a way that would "convey the impression" that it showed sexual acts by a minor. That defense would not apply to computer simulations.
The lawsuit, filed by a group of more than 600 producers and distributors of "adult-oriented materials" calling themselves the Free Speech Coalition, argued that the law was so broadly worded that it could cover any picture in which an adult portrays a minor engaged in sexual activity. Terms like "appears to be" and "convey the impression" are so loose that it would be difficult to know what material was illegal, the suit said. But Conti said any ambiguity in those terms "can be resolved by examining whether the work was marketed and advertised as child pornography." He rejected the ACLU’s argument that the only justification for a child pornography ban recognized by the Supreme Court is the prevention of harm to children used in the production of such material.
Quoting congressional language, Conti said such laws can also seek to stop molesters from whetting their appetite with pornography and using it to break down their victims’ resistance—effects that do not depend on the use of actual children in the production. The law "is designed to counteract the effect that such (material) has on its viewers, on children, and to society as a whole, and is not intended to regulate or outlaw the ideas themselves," the judge said.

See Ashley Craddock, Activists Down on Child Porn Act Decision, Wired News, 13 August, 1997. Appeal Brief Filed in Child Pornography Prevention Act 1996 - September 1997
Free-speech advocates filed a federal appeals-court brief in an effort to overturn the controversial 1996 Act. Arguing that “sexually explicit, non-obscene speech is protected by the First Amendment,” William Bennett Turner, a First Amendment attorney, filed a brief with the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals challenging the constitutionality of the 1996 Child Pornography Protection Act.
US District Court Judge Samuel Conti in August ruled to uphold the law that criminalizes images that appear to be of children in sexually explicit poses. The images are illegal “even if they are adults that look young or are computer-generated images,” Turner noted. His friend-of-the-court brief was filed on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union, the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California, the Periodical & Book Association of America, and Feminists For Free Expression, in support of the principal plaintiff in the case, the Free Speech Coalition.
The brief argues that the basis for Conti’s decision, which takes into consideration the secondary effects of images that appear to be of children, is not constitutional. “Even if no children are involved in the production of sexually explicit materials, the devastating ... effect that such materials have on society and the well-being of children merits the regulation of such images,” Conti wrote in his August decision.
Turner responded in his brief: “The secondary effects rationale is extremely hazardous to free speech, because it has no limits and can justify any kind of speech restriction. The government and others who wish to suppress or restrict certain speech can always think up undesirable ‘secondary effects’ believed to follow from the content of speech at issue.” US Judge Attacks the Child Pornography Protection Act of 1996 - April 1998
A federal judge in Portland, in a precedent-setting ruling, has struck down as unconstitutional a portion of a new federal law, the Child Pornography Protection Act of 1996 aimed at regulating computer generated child pornography on the Internet. Judge Gene Carter of the U.S. District in Portland, Maine, said the provision stretched too far by criminalizing sexual images of children who aren’t real or adults who look youthful. The ruling by U.S. District Judge Gene Carter dismisses charges of child pornography possession against David Hilton, a 48-year-old who says he is a crusader against kiddie porn, and never should have been charged.
"Its incorporated definition of child pornography is constitutionally invalid," he concluded in his ruling. "The statute impacts a significant amount of adult pornography featuring adults who appear youthful,’’ Carter wrote. "The court concludes that expression involving such adults will be chilled by the subjective language of the statute.
In his decision issued March 27, Carter concluded the new law is necessary to combat the harmful effects of child pornography. Peadophiles and child molesters do not make a distinction between sexually explicit images of children and young adults. But the judge agreed that the statute, as it pertains to the definition of child pornography, is too broad Carter’s ruling contradicts that of a federal judge in California, who last fall upheld the law as constitutional after a civil challenge by free speech advocates. The case is now before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Carter’s ruling flies in the face of U.S. District Judge Samuel Conti’s ruling in a civil case in San Francisco last August, which upheld the 1996 Child Pornography Prevention Act. Conti ruled that Congress had a right to ban "fake" child porn. The US Justice Department defends the law on grounds that fake child pornography can "incite the same reaction in pedophiles." But the adult film industry, which challenged the law in California, argues that the child pornography statute was designed to protect minors--not adults dressed up as youngsters, for example.
Carter’s ruling also is expected to be challenged in the First U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston. The Free Speech Coalition appealed the California ruling and is awaiting a decision.
"If it ends up there is disagreement among the circuit courts, this would be the type of case the Supreme Court takes on," Jeffrey J. Douglas, a lawyer with the Free Speech Coalition, told the Associated Press. "Then this could turn out to be a landmark case." US Child Pornography cases involving the Internet

Reorted and taken from Pacific Air Forces News Service 17 Jul 1995
KADENA Air Base, Japan - A captain assigned to the 18th Logistics Group has been sentenced to be dismissed from the Air Force after being convicted by a general court-martial of conduct unbecoming an officer and violating federal anti-child pornography statutes. Along with the dismissal - the equivalent of a dishonorable discharge - Capt. Anthony Russell was sentenced to three months confinement and ordered to pay $2,858 per month for three months.
Russell pled not guilty to all charges, which included obtaining and storing pornographic computer graphics - including child pornography - from the Internet. The captain elected to be tried by a panel of officers in a trial that convened May 30 1995. According to base legal officials, Russell used Air Force computers and telecommunications equipment to locate and download the graphics files from the Internet over a two-month period. Officials said the captain is considered a computer expert and was the local area network administrator for the 18th LG.
During the four-day trial, prosecutors offered about 100 computer graphics into evidence, including four photographs a pediatrician confirmed depicted minors. Prosecutors also presented evidence showing how the captain used his office and home computers to "surf the Net" for sites containing pornographic computer image files. Other evidence at the trial indicated Russell would download images directly to his home computer or would use his office desktop computer to collect graphics and later copy them to his home computer.
The captain claimed he had stumbled across the graphics accidentally. However, computer experts from the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Washington, D.C., showed how Russell had programmed his computers to seek out Internet sites with explicit names and file listings.
The captain's case will undergo an automatic review by the general court-martial convening authority. After this review, the case will receive an automatic review by the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals. Russell's case may also be reviewed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. After completion of the appellate review - if the conviction is not overturned and/or the dismissal portion of the sentence is not modified - Secretary of the Air Force Sheila Widnall has to approve the dismissal before it is executed.
(I have no further details of this case as September 15, 1996. - Yaman Akdeniz) Operation Rip Cord - September 1997
US Federal and state authorities have nabbed more than 120 people suspected of sending child pornography over the Internet, according to the New York state attorney general’s office. Authorities have also identified more than 1,500 people worldwide who are suspected of the same crime.
The ongoing probe, conducted by New York state attorney general Dennis Vacco’s office along with U.S. Customs officials and local authorities, already has resulted in 31 convictions nationwide, according to Vacco. Dubbed Operation Rip Cord, authorities conducting the 18-month sting found the alleged child pornographers by posing as trading partners online. America Online (AOL) assisted investigators in their pursuit.
Those referred to prosecutors in the New York-based sting include a school administrator, a school janitor using a stolen computer identity, a college student training to become a kindergarten teacher, a pizza deliverer, and a used car salesman. Some have already pleaded guilty. The probe also lead to a Swiss couple who were arrested in Buffalo, New York, last month and accused of “masterminding an international child pornography manufacturing and distribution ring,” according to the state attorney general’s office.
The investigation was launched in 1996 by a team of former squad detectives in the Buffalo office eventually expanded to include Customs officials, who had launched a similar probe. As a result of the probe, investigators have amassed over 200,000 child porn images and seized over $137,000 in computer equipment. Operation Innocent Images:
In September 1995, the FBI made several arrests and searched 120 homes nation-wide, concluding a two-year investigation into the use of America On-Line to distribute child pornography and arrange sex with children. FBI agents in Baltimore first became involved in the investigation in 1993 while attempting to find 10-year-old George Stanley Burdynski, who was abducted from his Brentwood, Maryland, neighborhood. Burdynski was never found, but the investigation led to the discovery that both adults and juveniles were routinely using computers to transmit images of children aged two to 13 showing frontal nudity or sexually explicit conduct.
Following the FBI’s operation, in February 1996, John Delmarle, 49, has been sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in Rochester, New York. Delmarle agreed to a maximum sentence of 33 months for sending sexually explicit pictures of children through America Online under a plea agreement in December. However, U.S. District Judge Telesca opted to impose a longer sentence, citing the nature of Delmarle’s crime and previous paedophile convictions. Prosecutors stated that the pictures Delmarle transmitted in July and August 1994 portrayed “sadistic conduct” involving children under the age of 12. He also was sentenced to three years’ probation and six months of home confinement after his release, and was barred from associating with minors or using a computer for anything other than employment purposes.
According to a CNN Report on April 7, 1997 (FBI cracks down on child pornography on the Internet April 7, 1997) Operation Innocent Images so far has netted 91 arrests and 83 felony convictions. The figures were provided to CNN as FBI Director Louis Freeh prepared to brief a Senate panel on April 9, 1997 on the operation “Innocent Images”. The FBI’s Baltimore office is leading the nationwide effort to track down pedophiles using online services to transmit child porn or to recruit children into sexual relationships.
Louis Freeh, director of FBI describes the Operation Innocent Images as follows:
In 1994, the FBI initiated an innovative and proactive investigation, designated as "Innocent Images," to focus on the sexual exploitation of children through the Internet and on-line services. This investigation grew out of our experience in the May 1993 disappearance of George Stanley Burdynski, Jr., a 13-year old, in Prince George's County, Maryland.
In the course of the Burdynski investigation, FBI agents and Prince George's County Police detectives identified two suspects who had sexually exploited numerous juvenile males over a 25-year period. Investigation of these two suspects determined that both adults and juveniles were routinely using computers to transmit images of minors showing frontal nudity or sexually explicit conduct, as well as to lure other minors into engaging in illicit sexual activity with the suspects.
Consultations with experts, both within the FBI and in the private sector, revealed that the use of computer telecommunications was rapidly becoming one of the most prevalent techniques by which pedophiles would share photographic images of minors, as well as identify and recruit children for sexually illicit relationships.
To combat the use of computer telecommunications by pedophiles and sexual predators, the FBI and the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section of the Department of Justice jointly developed an investigative and prosecutive strategy to identify subjects who originate, upload, or forward child pornography to other subscribers through the use of on-line service providers. Our highest priority is on those individuals who indicate a willingness to travel for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity with a juvenile and those who are distributors of child pornography.
As of March 5, 1997, the "Innocent Images" investigation has generated 200 search warrants, 40 consent searches, 81 indictments, 33 informations, 91 arrests, and 83 felony convictions.
The "Innocent Images" Task Force is staffed by agents of the FBI's Baltimore, Maryland, field office, other federal agencies, and investigators from surrounding state and local jurisdictions in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. However, it is estimated that 95 percent of the subjects identified by the "Innocent Images" investigation reside in other states.
The "Innocent Images" investigation has allowed the FBI and the Department of Justice to develop the investigative techniques needed to address child pornography and other crimes in cyberspace. These techniques fully take into account the Attorney General's guidelines for criminal investigations, including federal statutes that apply to electronic communications and the public's first amendment rights.
The search warrants, seizures of computer equipment, and convictions resulting from the "Innocent Images" are putting pedophiles and criminals on notice that these crimes are being investigated and prosecuted. They also serve to deter others who may consider engaging in such illicit acts.
This ongoing investigation also provides us with extensive background and intelligence on how pedophiles and sexual predators use and manipulate the Internet and on-line services; how they search for, target, and recruit victims; and how they try to evade notice by law enforcement. For example, some pedophiles now post their solicitations in legitimate news groups and bulletin boards knowing that law enforcement is aware of the more obvious sites frequented by pedophiles.

A federal grand jury in San Jose, California, has indicted 16 people from the U.S. and abroad for their participation in a child pornography ring called the "Orchid Club," whose members used the Internet to share sexual pictures and conduct online chat during a child molestation. A U.S. attorney says there are no free speech issues involved: "The thing that ups the ante in this case is that allegations of distribution of pornography are coupled with serious allegations of child molestation. It's an issue relating to the protection of children, not to the First Amendment." (New York Times 17 Jul 96 A8 - taken from Computer Underground Digest 8.58 )
The 24 charges against the alleged members of an Internet child pornography ring include conspiracy to sexually exploit children. Tony West, prosecuting assistant and US attorney called the case, "very serious and tragic", saying that while the technology itself is not to blame, people will always find ways to exploit the Internet for such base purposes.
The defendants, who allegedly belonged to a private, online child pornography group called the Orchid Club, shared photos and videos of girls aged five to ten that they had taken themselves. According to the indictment, the men engaged in real-time photo shoots where they typed messages requesting photos of the girls in certain poses while one member shot photos with a digital camera and transmitted the photos back to the group.
Two men, Ronald Riva, 38, and Melton Myers, 55, were arrested in connection with the case in April after Monterey County sheriffs investigated a report that a young girl was molested at a sleep-over party hosted by Riva's daughter. The FBI and the US Customs Service joined the investigation when it became clear the photos were being transmitted across the Internet in the US and abroad.
The members of the club, who live in various US states and in Finland, Australia and Canada, allegedly had to know a secret password to access the photos and online chat sessions. According to the indictment, the men also had to undergo an initiation rite that required them to "recount a personal experience involving their sexual activity with a minor."
Three locked up in the US Orchid Club indictments involving child pornography - November 1997
Three members of an international child pornography ring that used the Internet to transmit pictures of children were sentenced to long jail terms by the U.S. District Judge James Ware in a San Jose courtroom after a long hearing in October 1997.
The U.S. Attorney’s office in San Jose said Ronald Riva, 38, of Greenfield, California, was sentenced to 30 years in prison; David Tank, 35, of Cheney, Washington, to 19 years and 7 months; and Christopher Saemisch, 38, of Lawrence, Kansas, to 11 years.
The men were jailed for their part in a wide-ranging, Internet-based conspiracy in which several children, aged ten or younger, were used in sexually explicit acts to produce pornographic pictures and videotapes, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
The images, including digital pictures made with cameras connected to personal computers, were sent through the mail and transmitted over the Internet to other Orchid Club members in nine states and four countries including Finland, Australia, and Canada. Prosecutors said then they believed it was the first case involving real-time transmission of pictures of children being sexually molested to others online.
Riva pleaded guilty last May to charges of conspiracy to sexually exploit a minor, aiding and abetting in the sexual exploitation of a minor, conspiracy to traffic in child pornography, and sending and receiving pornographic images of children over the Internet. Riva also admitted he had used a digital camera connected to his computer to take pictures of the sexual molestation of a ten-year-old girl on April 1, 1996, prosecutors added.
Saemisch pleaded guilty to similar charges last May, admitting he repeatedly sexually exploited a five-year-old girl and participated in the April 1 online sexual molestation of the ten-year-old.
Tank was convicted after a trial last June of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child, conspiracy to trade material involving the sexual exploitation of children, and distributing visual depictions of children engaged in sexually explicit activity.
Evidence presented at trial reportedly showed that Tank produced sexually explicit pictures of children, including a different five-year-old girl, which he sent to fellow Orchid Club members. United States v. Ownby
Defendant's Use of Computer to Trade Child Pornography Over Internet Results in Forfeiture of Home Taken from Law & the Internet, Significant Decisions Concerning the Internet, The New York Law Journal Sept.30, 1996.
Forfeiture of a home appraised at $358,000, and in which the defendant-homeowner had equity of more than $88,000, as in personam criminal forfeiture to punish the defendant for using his in-home computer to trade child pornography on the Internet, does not violate the Excessive Fines Clause of the Eighth Amendment, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia ruled in May 1996.
Senior District Judge James Harry Michael Jr., in United States v. Ownby, 926 F.Supp. 558, held that the Eighth Amendment's prohibition of excessive fines does not bar the forfeiture of the defendant's residence in this case because the forfeiture did not exceed the maximum statutory fine authorized for the defendant's offense; the forfeiture did not exceed the maximum fine allowed under the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines; and the forfeiture was not excessive in light of the defendant's conduct and the offense committed.
The defendant came to the attention of the FBI during a nationwide investigation conducted by that agency into trading child pornography on the computer bulletin services of America On-Line. The defendant repeatedly accessed America On-Line to send and receive, by computer, images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, in violation of 18 USC 2552. The court stated that, in analyzing excessive fine claims under the Eighth Amendment in cases of in personam criminal forfeitures, the inquiry involves a comparison of the value of the property being forfeited to the gravity of the offense committed by the defendant and the nature and extent of the defendant's activities. Since the defendant pleaded guilty to three felony counts under 2552, he faced a potential statutory fine of $750,000 and, under the Sentencing Guidelines, the court could have imposed a total fine exceeding $131,000.
The court rejected the defendant's argument that the forfeiture was excessive, because the relevant statute and the fine scheme established by the Guidelines explicitly empowered the court to impose a total fine well in excess of the defendant's $88,737 equity interest. In considering the amount of the forfeiture in light of the defendant's conduct and the offense committed, the court concluded that the evidence convincingly demonstrated that the defendant's level of culpability was profound and that a harsh penalty was warranted, given the more than 1,000 transmissions extending over a substantial period of time and the defendant's extensive trading of sexually exploitative images. Recent developments in the fight with child pornography in the USA
In late May 1996, US postal authorities shut down a huge child pornography network that distributed videos of children as young as 7 years old engaged in various sexual acts. 45 of the tapes' buyers had been charged, including 23 who had been involved in past or current child sexual abuse. The operation carried in 36 states was named "Overseas Male'' the largest known commercial distribution of child pornography in US history.
FBI conducts On-line child pornography raids in 20 cities
On December 11, 1996, the FBI conducted a nationwide investigation of child pornography on the Internet and computer online services in 20 US cities. FBI Director Louis Freeh stated that:
"Today's searches reflect the FBI's continuing priority attack against some of the most despicable crimes that prey on children"
The FBI said no immediate arrests were made but could be forthcoming after inspection of the materials discovered is complete. The FBI stated that agents searched in Albany, New York; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Baltimore; Boston; Charlotte, North Carolina; Cincinnati; Denver; Milwaukee; Newark, New Jersey; Oklahoma City; Pittsburgh; Richmond, Virginia; Sacramento, California; Tampa, Florida; and Washington, D.C. "Operation Innocent Images," now in its third year, has resulted in 80 arrests, 66 convictions and more than 100 indictments or other federal criminal charges. The probe has centered on efforts by paedophiles to lure minors into illicit sexual relationships and to distribute child pornography through computer service communications.
US Teacher arrested in Internet porn sting
According to CNN, a New York teacher who claimed he was a child psychologist in an online chat room was arrested in Florida and charged with interstate travel with the purpose of engaging in sex with a person under 18 on July 12, 1997. Robert M. Nebens, of Pound Ridge, New York, was also charged Friday with interstate travel with interstate transportation of child pornography. Nebens, 37, arranged to meet a 13-year-old boy in Florida for a sexual liaison after the two met in an America Online chat room called "Barely Legal: Male-for-Male." But the "boy" was a woman who helped the FBI set up a sting that led to the arrest. He arrived in Miami toting dozens of pornographic computer disks. According to an affidavit filed Friday, Nebens bragged of meeting five other boys online and having sexual contact with them. He is reportedly a teacher at Fox Meadow School in Scarsdale, New York, a wealthy New York City suburb. US AGs go after Internet peadophiles
State attorneys general from around the United States will meet in New York City next month to discuss forming a task force on combating pedophiles who found their victims through the Internet, according to representatives of New York State Attorney General Dennis Vacco. Vacco, who last month announced the results of an exhaustive investigation by his office into online child pornography, wants to establish a national database of background on offenders who seek young victims in chat rooms and Usenet bulletin boards, according to a spokesman. His counterparts from all 50 states have been invited to the meeting, to take place Nov. 13 in Manhattan. Investigative techniques for fighting offenders who use the Internet as their vehicle, including executing search warrants, seizing computers used by sexual predators, and prosecution of offenders who cross state lines are on the agenda for the meeting.
"My investigators and prosecutors will have the opportunity to pass on the methods we have been able to successfully use against Internet sex predators to the other states," Vacco said in a press release. "Since Internet sex crimes frequently cross over state lines, cooperation between law enforcement officials is imperative," he said in the release. The impetus for the gathering was a spate of sex crimes against children committed by adults who posed as youngsters to gain the trust of their victims. The most recent example was the revelation that a 15-year-old New Jersey boy arrested last week for the rape and murder of an 11-year-old boy had himself been raped by a 43-year-old man whom he met in online chat rooms.

March 20, 2008 4:00 AM PDT FBI posts fake hyperlinks to snare child porn suspects by Declan McCullagh
Screen snapshot: This now-defunct site is reportedly where an FBI undercover agent posted hyperlinks purporting to be illegal videos. Clicking the links brought a raid from the Feds.
The FBI has recently adopted a novel investigative technique: posting hyperlinks that purport to be illegal videos of minors having sex, and then raiding the homes of anyone willing to click on them.
Undercover FBI agents used this hyperlink-enticement technique, which directed Internet users to a clandestine government server, to stage armed raids of homes in Pennsylvania, New York, and Nevada last year. The supposed video files actually were gibberish and contained no illegal images.
A CNET News.com review of legal documents shows that courts have approved of this technique, even though it raises questions about entrapment, the problems of identifying who's using an open wireless connection--and whether anyone who clicks on a FBI link that contains no child pornography should be automatically subject to a dawn raid by federal police.
Roderick Vosburgh, a doctoral student at Temple University who also taught history at La Salle University, was raided at home in February 2007 after he allegedly clicked on the FBI's hyperlink. Federal agents knocked on the door around 7 a.m., falsely claiming they wanted to talk to Vosburgh about his car. Once he opened the door, they threw him to the ground outside his house and handcuffed him.
THIS IS A GOVERNMENT OPERATION! The people went above the government operation acting out of free consciousness and responsibility and are shutting down this government operation!

You cannot make this shit up: Pueblo Police visited the home of Phillip Greaves this morning. He's the author of the Pedophiles Guide to Love and Pleasure. Up until this morning that book was for sale on Amazon.com. Amazon pulled the book after complaints about its content. Pueblo Police Detective Daniel Anderson told News First he had met with Greaves this morning to talk about the book. Anderson said Greaves gave him a copy. Anderson said there is no evidence Greaves has committed any crimes. Anderson also said he told Greaves he is now an unpopular person with views that most people disagree with. He said he told Greaves to call the Police Department if he feels threatened or is the victim of any crime. We'll have more on this story at 10 p.m. on News First 5.

Sorry, guys, but I have no sympathy for anyone willing to click a link to look at the sexual exploitation of innocent children. I could really care less about their rights and I know that's a hard thing to admit here on this forum and as a Christian. I say, get them any way you can...they thought it was porn, end of story.
They aren't human in my book ergo they should have no rights nor be protected by the law or Constitution. Their genitalia should be cut off and they should be shunned by the whole world. If they could be marked like Cain, even better.
Better yet...just throw them in jail...what will be, will be.

Note: Just like the big drug dealers the government agents push this stuff then bust the little peons. The government operators get away scott free or find jobs in the TSA or the CPS. Just like the sick drugs they are pushing they are the main originators of this. They will never shut it down because they are the ones perpetrating it. These freaking books have been around a long time and I think the Marquis de Sade(one sick dude) even wrote one way back when, which show that it has been a province of the elite for a very long time.

No one is condoning the FRANKLIN COVER UP and THE CIA FINDERS who run the child pedaphile rings in the US! This guy protects those people, why aren't you pissed off about the government creating intergenerational child sex slavery rings? Why aren't you helping to expose the fact that the UN, Dyncorp, BP, Dope, Inc., the CFR, and Bilderberg control the child sex rings all over the world? in other news...is this guy some kind of math tutor?

Here is the reason for this false flag...
From above:
Congress has no compelling interest in regulating sexually explicit materials that do not contain visual images of actual children.
So they had to make a book without visual images that was so batshit f-ing crazy that it would force huge powers for the psychopathic elite maniacs stealing $30 Trillion and also controlling all child sex rings in the world.

[Note from Ken Adachi: I first saw the report reproduced below in Ted Gunderson's spiral-bound expose titled The CIA's "Finders" which he had assembled somewehere in the late 1980's following his invovlvement with John DeCamp in investigating The Frnaklin Cover-Up story. There is no author attributed to this article on the voxfux web site, but the article may have appeared in The Spotlight, as Ted often ran his breaking stories through that publication.] http://www.voxfux.com/features/cia_child_sex.html [ Introductory notes from Voxfux] One by one, the dots get connected. The same names keep popping up and they are linked with the same activities over and over and over again until the pattern becomes so clear and undeniable, the circumstantial evidence becomes so overwhelming and the picture emerges that is so frightening that it is hard to believe that it is true. The picture that has emerged is that indeed the major institutions of the United States of America, the CIA, the FBI and the many of our governmental and media institutions are involved in child sexual slavery and ritualistic abuse. The same names keep surfacing in relation to the same subjects over and over again. The CIA, child sexual abuse, the Catholic church, George Bush Sr., The secret societies of the Scull and Bones, the Freemasons, The Knights of Malta and others and on and on and on. If you think this sounds like some "looney conspiracy theory," congratulations, that's exactly how they programmed you to think, you have been brainwashed - your mind has been successfully obliterated. For, the evidence presented on the voxfux.com website is so overwhelming and so indisputable that to ignore it any longer or write it off as too outrageous to be true, is to be a low immoral retarded coward. If you decide to continue reading, prepare yourself to connect all the dots of this evil incarnate. Read on. Your life and the safety of you family depends on it. voxfux On February 7th of 1987, the Washington Post ran an interesting story that did not at first seem to have any particularly national significance. The article concerned a case of possible kidnapping and child abuse, and material discovered in the Washington area that they say points to a 1960s style commune called the Finders, described in a court document as a "cult" that conducted "brainwashing" and used children "in rituals." DC police who searched the Northeast Washington warehouse linked to the group removed large plastic bags filled with color slides, photographs and photographic contact sheets. Some showed naked children involved in what appeared to be "cult rituals," bloodletting ceremonies of animals and one photograph of a child in chains. Customs officials said their links to the DC area led authorities into a far-reaching investigation that includes The Finders -- a group of about 40 people that court documents allege is led by a man named Marion Pettie -- and their various homes, including the duplex apartment in Glover Park, the Northeast Washington warehouse and a 90 acre farm in rural Madison County, VA. It was the US News and World Report that would ultimately provide the follow-up to the Finders story, noting that there is a certain Customs Service memorandum that was written at the time of the original investigation, written by Ramon J. Martinez, Special Agent, United States Customs Service, describing two adult white males and six minor children ages 7 years to 2 years. The adult males were Michael Houlihan and Douglas Ammerman, both of Washington, DC who had been arrested the previous day on charges of child abuse. The children were covered with insect bites, were very dirty, most of the children were not wearing underpants and all of the children had not been bathed in many days. The men were somewhat evasive under questioning and stated only that they were the children's teachers and were en route to Mexico to establish a school for brilliant children. The children were unaware of the functions of telephones, television and toilets, and stated that they were not allowed to live indoors and were only given food as a reward. A Detective Bradley had initiated an investigation on the two addresses provided by the Tallahassee Police Department during December of 1986. An informant had given him information regarding the cult, known as the "Finders," operating various businesses out of a warehouse located at 1307 4th Street, N.E., and were supposed to be housing children at 3918/3920 W St., N.W. The information was specific in describing "blood rituals" and sexual orgies involving children, and an as yet unsolved murder in which the Finders might be involved. Cursory examination of documents revealed detailed instructions for optaining children for unspecified purposes. The instructions included the impregnation of female members of the community, purchasing children, trading and kidnapping. There were telex messages using MCI account numbers between a computer terminal believed to be in the same room, and others located across the country and in foreign locations. There were pictures of nude children and adult Finders, as well as evidence of high-tech money transfers. There was a file called "Pentagon Break-in," and references to activities in Moscow, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, North Vietnam, North Korea, Africa, London, Germany, "Europe" and the Bahamas. There was also a file labeled "Palestinian." One such telex specifically ordered the purchase of two children in Hong Kong to be arranged through a contact in the Chinese Embassy there. Other documents identified interests in high-tech transfers to the United Kingdom, numerous properties under the control of the Finders, a keen interest in terrorism, explosives, and the evasion of law enforcement. There was also a set of instructions that appeared to broadcast via computer an advisory to the participants to keep the children moving through different jurisdictions and instructions on how to avoid police detection. A photo album contained a series of photos of adults and children dressed in white sheets participating in a blood ritual. The ritual centered around the execution of at least two goats. The photos portrayed the execution, disembowelment, skinning and dismemberment of the goats at the hands of the children. This included the removal of the testes of a male goat, the discovery of a female goat's "womb" and the "baby goats" inside the womb, and the presentation of the goat's head to one of the children. There was also a large amount of data collected on various child care organizations. The warehouse contained a large library, two kitchens, a sauna, hot tub and a 'video room.' The video room seemed to be set up as an indoctrination center. The organization had the ability to produce its own videos. There appeared to be training areas for the children and what appeared to be an altar set up in a residential area of the warehouse. Many jars of urine and feces were located in this area. Group leader Marion Pettie spoke in an interview in Steamshovel Press in 1998, noting that in World War II he kept house maintly to intelligence people in Washington and OSS people passing through. Official US Customs investigation reports which have been completely authenticated by the investigating officers who wrote them and by a well respected investigator who personally knows these Customs officials are irrefutable evidence that: 1. A case of obvious child neglect/abuse involving child pedophile sexual abuse/child pornography/Satanic cult ritualistic abuse wherein the perpetrators were caught directly in the act by law enforcement, arrested on the basis of irrefutable evidence at the scene, and faced serious charges which typically bring sentences of decades in prison. 2. Search warrants were obtained for the "Finders" cult office in Washington, DC and a complete search was enacted by law enforcement which provided irrefutable pictures, movies and documents of such abuse/neglect evidence and access to the confidential arrest reports on the "Finders" cult from the arrests in Tallahassee which occurred only a day earlier (suggesting very high level connections to US intelligence in and of itself.) 3. All investigation of the "Finders" cult by the FBI, US Customs and local law enforcement was ordered stopped by the US Justice Department on the grounds of "national security" and the matter of the "Finders" cult was turned over to the Central Intelligence Agency as an "internal security matter," since the "Finders" is and has been a domestic and international covert operation of the Central Intelligence Agency. 4. Any and all investigation of the "Finders" was immediately stopped, all evidence was supressed and denied, and the abused children were released back to the adult perpetrators who had been arrested "in the act" and the CIA resumed its ongoing covert operation of the "Finders" cult which is used to procure and produce. The story of the Finders cult is the story of the development of child/assets to be used to entrap politicians, diplomats; corporate and law enforcement officials; to sell child/victims to wealthy perverts to raise money for covert operations, to train some of the child/victims to be professional operatives and assassins of a totally cold, multiple personality, mind control nature. To date only one media outlet has dared publish anything about this (US News). In the last few years there have been more "smoking guns" proving that US intelligence agencies traffic in children, sell them and abuse them. Some of these covert operations have been tied to long term and massive importation, and distribution of narcotics into the US by the same iintelligence agencies. BELOW IS AN ARCHIVE OF EXISTING RECORDS INVOLVING THIS CHILLING STORY OF CIA INVOLVEMENT IN CHILD RITUAL SEXUAL ABUSE. I am presenting this U.S. Custom Service Document (1) and news article (2) for the purpose of discussion of Satanic ritualistic abuse of children;that an organized, computer-literate, terrorist group, "The Finders", was found in participation of the Satanic ritualistic abuse of children (1) and that, with the coming of Millennium Prophecy, more groups may form with Satanism used for the empowerment of their agenda; that "The Finders", were found to be group involved in "competitor intelligence for a variety of mostly foreign clients" (2) and were headquartered in Washington DC close to governmental facilities raising the legitimate question of connections between Satanic ritualistic abuse of children and government agencies; that evidence was found for international connections in "London, Germany, the Bahamas, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Africa, Costa Rica, and "Europe." There was also a file identified as "Palestinian." (1) This Customs report raises the legitimate question of international connections for Satanic ritualistic abuse of children. In a recent letter to Congresswoman Tauscher I wrote: 'In the latter regard, I think the populations at risk of targetting by Satanic Cults may be younger teens and preteens who are Internet proficient. In an article on Internet pedophiles: "pedophiles are using digital cameras to televise live, interactive molestations in cyberspace" ("Cops Go Undercover Online to Nab Internet Pedophiles", SF Chronicle, December 7, 1998; pg A21). It was of further curiosity to me that the Internet child molestations cases in the later article did not mention a possible link to Satanic Cults opening up the question of whether or not Satanic Cults 'recruit' children off the Internet for Satanic Rituals. I would say that, on the behalf of the children and adults who have been subjected to Satanic ritualistic abuse that these acts are not be tolerated; that parents need to feel that their children are safe from this threat; and that any hint of it should be rapidly and throughly investigated as hate crimes in thought and deed. The men, arrested and charged with multiple counts of child abuse, were being very evasive with police in the questions being asked of them pursuant the children and their condition. This agent contacted SS/A, Bob Harrold, RAC/Reston, Virginia, and requested telephone numbers and names of police persons in area police departments in an attempt to follow-up on two leads which were a Virginia license number and that the children had commented about living in a Washington, D.C., commune. Subsequently, this office received a telephone call from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department inquiring about the men and children. This office put the MPD and the TPD in contact with each other. Walter F. Kreitlow II Special Agent Fredric D. Maiduk Resident Agent in Charge Office of Enforcement 227 N. Bronough St. Rm 6045 Tallahassee, FL 32301 DETAILS OF INVESTIGATION: On Thursday, February 5, 1987, this office was contacted via telephone by Sergeant JoAnn VanMETER of the Tallahassee Police Department, Juvenile Division. Sgt. VanMETER requested assistance in identifying two adult males and six minor children ages 7 years to 2 years. The adult males were tentatively identified by TPD as Michael HOULIHAN and Douglas AMMERMAN, both of Washington, D.C. who were arrested the previous day on charges of child abuse. The police had received an anonymous telephone call relative two well-dressed white men wearing suits and ties in Myers Park, (Tallahassee), apparently watching six dirty and unkempt children in the playground area. HOULIHAN and AMMERMAN were near a 1980 Blue Dodge van bearing Virginia license number XHW-557, the inside of which was later described as foul-smelling filled with maps, books, letters, with a mattress situated to the rear of the van which appeared as if it were used as a bed, and the overall appearance of the van gave the impression that all eight persons were living in it. The children were covered with insect bites, were very dirty, most of the children were not wearing underwear and all of the children had not been bathed in many days. The men were arrested and charged with multiple counts of child abuse and lodged in the Leon County Jail. Once in custody the men were somewhat evasive in their answers to the police regarding the children and stated only that they both were the children's teachers and that all were enroute to Mexico to establish a school for brilliant children. The children tentatively were identified as Mary (deleted), white female, age 7; (deleted) LIVINGSTON, white male, age 6; (deleted) FRANKLIN, white male, age 4; (deleted) EVANS, white female, age 3; B.B., white male, age 2; and that they lived in tents in a commune in the Washington, D.C., area and were going to Mexico to go to a school for smart kids. This office contacted the Office of the RAC/DC and spoke with SS/A Bob Harrold. This agent requested telephone numbers and names of police persons in area departments that might be aware of said activities described by the children and to follow-up on leads which were the Virginia license number and a check on the men's names with local law enforcement. A short time later this office was contacted by Detective, Jim Bradley of the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department. Bradley indicated that the case here in Tallahassee appeared to be strongly related to a case he was currently working in the Washington, D.C. area. He stated that the actions of the two men in custody in Tallahassee relative the children just might give his case enough probable cause for search warrants to search premises occupied by a cult group called Finders. This agent directed Bradley to telephone TPD and discuss with police directly any activities forthcoming relative the instant case. At this time it was determined that there was no Customs violations found to exist and therefore, this case is being closed pending receipt of additional information. ACTION TO BE TAKEN BY LESD/TECS: Create a permanent DRR/TECS record. IDENTIFYING DATA/TECS-FIN QUERIES: ______________ To: Resident Agent in Charge Date: 02/07/87 From: Special Agent Subject: Customs cooperation/interest in Tallahassee/Washington MPD child abuse investigation. On Thursday, 2/5/87, the duty agent, SS/A Bob Harrold, received a call from SS/A Walter Krietlow, USCS, Tallahassee, Florida. SS/A Kreitlow was seeking assistance in contacting an appropriate local police agency to coordinate a child abuse investigation in with the Tallahassee Police Department. SS/A Krietlow further requested assistance in checking some names, addresses and a vehicle through the Customs Child Pornography Unit data base, and stated there was some suspicion of the subjects being involved in supplying children for the production of child pornography. Further, he was informed by the Tallahassee Police Department that the children may have been enroute to Mexico from the Washington, D.C. area. The possibility of Customs interest in the investigation due to possible violations of the Child Protection Act of 1984, and the alleged nexus with the U.S./Mexican Border were discussed and agreed upon. SS/A Krietlow related the following background information. SS/A Krietlow was contacted by the Tallahassee Police Department for assistance in identifying six children and two adults taken into custody in the Tallahassee area. U.S. Customs was contacted because the police officers involved suspected the adults of being involved in child pornography and knew the Customs Service to have a network of child pornography investigators, and of the existence of the Child Pornography and Protection Unit. SS/A Krietlow stated the two adults were well dressed white males. They had custody of six white children (boys and girls), ages three to six years. The children were observed to be poorly dressed, bruised, dirty, and behaving like wild animals in a public park in Tallahassee. The police were notified by a concerned citizen and all eight persons were taken into custody. The subjects were living out of a white 1979 Dodge van, Virginia license no. XHW 557. Upon being taken into custody, the adult white males refused to cooperate, one of whom produced a "business" card with a name on one side and a statement on the other. The statement indicated that the bearer knew his constitutional rights to remain silent and that he intended to do so. Upon interviewing the children, the police officers found that they could not adequately identify themselves or their custodians. Further, they stated that they were enroute to Mexico to attend a school for "smart kids." SS/A Kreitlow was further advised the children were unaware of the function and purpose of telephones, televisions and toilets, and that the children had stated they were not allowed to live indoors and were only given food as a reward. After receiving the request from Tallahassee, SS/A Harrold contacted me while I was on official business at Customs Headquarters. He requested that I conduct computer checks on the Customs Child Pornography Unit data base. The checks were to be conducted on the names, addresses, and a vehicle provided by SS/A Krietlow. After conducting the computer checks, I made direct contact with SS/A Krietlow to inform him that all the checks were negative. At that time I was informed by SS/A Krietlow that the Tallahassee police had discovered large quantities of records, to include computer discs and a U.S. passport in the van. From some of these records the police had obtained tentative identification of the two adults, and partial identification of the children. Furthermore, the two Washington, D.C. addresses had been discovered through these documents, one of which was verified through the vehicle registration. I advised SS/A Krietlow I was leaving Headquarters and he would be receiving a response to the remainder of his request from SS/A Harrold. I then left as stated and proceeded to conduct other business in the District. A short time later, at approximately 11:30 a.m., SS/A Harrold contacted me by radio, and advised me that a Detective Jim Bradley of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) was interested in the information provided by SS/A Krietlow, was in contact with Tallahassee, and would very probably be conducting search warrants in the area later in the day. He also informed me that U.S. Customs was invited to participate due to the continuing possibility of violations of law enforced by the Customs Service. As I was already in Washington, I terminated my other business and proceeded to make contact with Detective Bradley, Intelligence Division, MPD. Upon contacting Detective Bradley, I learned that he had initiated an investigation on the two addresses provided by the Tallahassee Police Dept. during December of 1986. An informant had given him information regarding a cult, known as the "Finders" operating various businesses out of a warehouse located at 1307 4th St., N.E., and were supposed to be housing children at 3918/3920 W St., N.W. The information was specific in describing "blood rituals" and sexual orgies involving children, and an as yet unsolved murder in which the Finders may be involved. With the information provided by the informant, Detective Bradley was able to match some of the children in Tallahassee with names of children known alleged to be in the custody of the Finders. Furthermore, Bradley was able to match the tentative ID of the adults with known members of the Finders. I stood by while Bradley consulted with AUSA Harry Benner and obtained search warrants for the two premises. I advised acting RAC SS/A Tim Halloran of my intention to accompany MPD on the execution of the warrants, received his permission, and was joined by SS/A Harrold. SS/A Harrold accompanied the team which went to 1307 4th St, and I went to 3918/20 W St. During the execution of the warrant at 3918/20 W St., I was able to observe and access the entire building. I saw large quantities of children's clothing and toys. The clothing consisting of diapers and clothes in the toddler to pre-school range. No children were found on the premises. There were several subjects on the premises. Only one was deemed to be connected with the Finders. The rest were renting living space from this individual. He was identified as Stuart Miles SILVERSTONE, DOB/061941, U.S. Passport No. (deleted). SILVERSTONE was located in a room equipped with several computers, printers, and numerous documents. Cursory examination of the documents revealed detailed instructions for obtaining children for unspecified purposes. The instructions included the impregnation of female members of the community known as the Finders, purchasing children, trading, and kidnapping. There were telex messages using MCI account numbers between a computer terminal believed to be located in the same room, and others located across the country and in foreign locations. One such telex specifically ordered the purchase of two children in Hong Kong to be be arranged through a contact in the Chinese Embassy there. Another telex expressed interest in "bank secrecy" situations. Other documents identified interests in high-tech transfers to the United Kingdom, numerous properties under the control of the Finders, a keen interest in terrorism, explosives, and the evasion of law enforcement. Also found in the "computer room" was a detailed summary of the events surrounding the arrest and taking into custody of the two adults and six children in Tallahassee the previous night. There were also a set of instructions which appeared to be broadcast via a computer network which advised the participants to move "the children" and keep them moving through different jurisdictions, and instructions on how to avoid police attention. One of the residents was identified as a Chinese National. Due to the telex discovered referencing the Chinese Embassy in Hong Kong, he was fully identified for future reference: WANG/Gengxin, DOB/092747, POB/Tianjin, People's Republic of China Passport No. (deleted), entered the U.S. on January 22, 1987, admitted until December 31, 1987. He is in the U.S. as a graduate student in the Anatomy Department of Georgetown University. His Visa was issued on November 10, 1986, in London, England, number 00143. During the course of the evening, I contacted Sector 4 to initiate a TECS check on SILVERSTONE, and initiate an archives check on him for the last four years. I also contacted SS/A Halloran to keep him advised of the proceedings and asked for and received permission to contact SS/A John Sullivan of the CPPU to query some names through the CPPU data base. SS/A Halloran told me he would call Southeast Region Headquarters to keep them posted on the proceedings as well. I later contacted SS/A Sullivan for the stated purpose, and in the discussion that followed I gave him some background on the purpose of the request. I advised him that the information was not for dissemination at Headquarters, that Region was being notified, and that Region would probably contact Headquarters later if deemed necessary. SS/A Sullivan assured me that the information would go no further until official notification was made by Region. No positive matches were obtained from the CPPU data base. I was later joined at the W Street address by SS/A Harrold. SS/A Harrold advised me that there were extremely large quantities of documents and computer equipment at the warehouse, and that MPD was posting officers inside the building there and sealing the building until morning, in which a second warrant for that premises would be obtained and executed. SS/A Harrold also advised me that the news media had been notified and had been waiting for the execution of the warrant at the 4th Street address. Detective Bradley later stated that the MPD Public Information Officer had been contacted by a Tallahassee reporter. When it became apparent that the PIO had no information on the search warrants, the reporter contacted local media representatives and a check of public records containing the affidavits for the search warrants disclosed the locations and purpose of the warrants. Detective Bradley surmised that someone on the Tallahassee Police Department was the original source of the information for the press. I advised SS/A Halloran of the involvement of the press, and he stated that he would, in turn, relay the information to Region. SS/A Harrold and I assisted in the transport of the evidence seized pursuant to the warrant and cleared MPD after the press left the area. On Friday, 2/6/87, I met Detective Bradley at the warehouse on 4th Street, N.E. I duly advised my acting group supervisor, SS/A Don Bludworth. I was again granted unlimited access to the premises. I was able to observe numerous documents which described explicit sexual conduct between the members of the community known as Finders. I also saw a large collection of photographs of unidentified persons. Some of the photographs were nudes, believed to be of members of the Finders. There were numerous photos of children, some nude, at least one of which was a photo of a child "on display" and appearing to accent the child's genitals. I was only able to examine a very small amount of the photos at this time. However, one of the officers presented me with a photo album for my review. The album contained a series of photos of adults and children dressed in white sheets participating in a "blood ritual." The ritual centered around the execution of at least two goats. The photos portrayed the execution, disembowelment, skinning and dismemberment of the goats at the hands of the children. This included the removal of the testes of a male goat, the discovery of a female goat's "womb" and the "baby goats" inside the womb, and the presentation of a goat's head to one of the children. Further inspection of the premises disclosed numerous files relating to activities of the organization in different parts of the world. Locations I observed are as follows: London, Germany, the Bahamas, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Africa, Costa Rica, and "Europe." There was also a file identified as "Palestinian." Other files were identified by member name or "project" name. The projects appearing to be operated for commercial purposes under front names for the Finders. There was one file entitled "Pentagon Break-In," and others referring to members operating in foreign countries. Not observed by me but related by an MPD officer were intelligence files on private families not related to the Finders. The process undertaken appears to be have been a systematic response to local newspaper advertisements for babysitters, tutors, etc. A member of the Finders would respond and gather as much information as possible about the habits, identity, occupation, etc., of the family. The use to which this information was to be put is still unknown. There was also a large amount of data collected on various child care organizations. The warehouse contained a large library, two kitchens, a sauna, hot-tub, and a "video room." The video room seemed to be set up as an indoctrination center. It also appeared that that the organization had the capability to produce its own videos. There were what appeared to be training areas for children and what appeared to be an altar set up in a residential area of the warehouse. Many jars of urine and feces were located in this area. I should also mention that both premises were equipped with satellite dish antennas. I discussed the course of action to be taken by MPD with Detective Bradley. He stated that he was only interested in making the child abuse case(s). I was assured that all of the evidence would be available to U.S. Customs in furtherance of any investigative/criminal action pursued. MPD personnel were to begin around the clock review and sorting of the evidence until completed. Customs will have access after this is accomplished. This will include several U.S. Passports discovered during the search. Upon leaving the 4th Street premises, I encountered a news media representative and was asked the reason behind U.S. Customs involvement in the investigation. I advised the reporter that I could not discuss anything and I referred her to the PAO/DC. I left immediately thereafter. There is no further information available at this time. It will take three to five days for all the information to be sorted, reviewed and logged by the MPD. I will maintain contact with Detective Bradley until the evidence is again accessible. Respectfully submitted, Ramon J. Martinez Special Agent, USCS __________ To: Resident Agent in Charge Date: 04/13/87 On Thursday, February 5, 1987, Senior Special Agent Harrold and I assisted the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) with two search warrants involving the possible sexual exploitation of children. During the course of the search warrants, numerous documents were discovered which appeared to be concerned with international trafficking in children, high tech transfer to the United Kingdom, and international transfer of currency. DETAILS OF INVESTIGATION: On March 31, 1987, I contacted Detective Jim Bradley of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). I was to meet with Detective Bradley to review the documents seized pursuant to two search warrants executed in January, 1987. The meeting was to take place on April 2 or 3, 1987. On April 2, 1987, I arrived at MPD at approximately 9:00 a.m. Detective Bradley was not available. I spoke to a third party who was willing to discuss the case with me on a strictly "off the record" basis. I was advised that all the passport data had been turned over to the State Department for their investigation. The State Department in turn, advised the MPD that all travel and use of the passports by the holders of the passports was within the law and no action would be taken. This included travel to Moscow, North Korea, and North Vietnam from the late 1950s to mid 1970s. The individual further advised me of circumstances which indicated that the investigation into the activity of the Finders had become a CIA internal matter. The MPD report has been classified SECRET and was not available for review. I was advised that the FBI had withdrawn from the investigation several weeks prior and that the FBI Foreign Counter Intelligence Division had directed MPD not to advise the FBI Washington Field Office of anything that had transpired. No further information will be available. No further action will be taken. ACTION TO BE TAKEN BY LESD/TECS: No action to be taken on the basis of this report. ***(2) *U.S. News & World Report*, Dec. 27, 1993/Jan 3. 1994 Through a glass, very darkly Cops, spies and a very odd investigation The case is almost seven years old now, but matters surrounding a mysterious group known as the Finders keep growing curiouser and curiouser. In early February 1987, an anonymous tipster in Tallahasse, Fla, made a phone call to police. Two "well dressed men" seemed to be "supervising" six dishevelled and hungry children in a local park, the caller said. The cops went after the case like bloodhounds, at least at first. The two men were identified as members of the Finders. They were charged with child abuse in Florida. In Washington, D.C. police and U.S. Customs Service agents raided a duplex apartment building and a warehouse connected to the group. Among the evidence seized - detailed instructions on obtaining children for unknown purposes and several photographs of nude children. According to a Customs Service memorandum obtained by U.S. News, one photo appeared "to accent the child's genitals". The more the police learned about the Finders, the more bizarre they seemed: There were suggestions of child abuse, Satanism, dealing in pornography and ritualistic animal slaughter. None of the allegations was ever proved, however. The child abuse charges against the two men in Tallahassee were dropped; all six of the children were eventually returned to their mothers, though in the case of two, conditions were attached by a court. In Washington, D.C. police began backing away from the Finders investigation. The groups practices, the police said, were eccentric - not illegal. QUESTIONS. Today, things appear to have changed yet again. The Justice Department has begun a new investigation into the Finders and into the group's activities. It is also reviewing the 1987 investigation into the group to determine whether that probe was closed improperly. Justice officials will not elaborate, except to say the investigation is "ongoing" and that it involves "unresolved matters" in relation to the Finders. One of the unresolved questions involves allegations that the Finders are somehow linked to the Central Intelligence Agency. Custom Service documents reveal that in 1987, when Customs agents sought to examine the evidence gathered by Washington, D.C. police, they were told that the Finders investigation "had become an internal matter." The police report on the case had been classified secret. Even now, Tallahassee police complain about the handling of the Finders investigation by D.C. police. "They dropped this case, one Tallahasse investigator says, "like a hot rock." D.C. police will not comment on the matter. As for the CIA, ranking officials describe allegation about links between the intelligence agency and the Finders as "hogwash" perhaps the result of a simple mix up with D.C. police. The only connection, according to the CIA: A firm that provided computer training to CIA officers also employed several members of the Finders. The many unanswered questions about the Finders case now have Democratic Rep. Charlie Rose of North Carolina, chairman of the House Administration Committee, and Florida's Rep. Tom Lewis, a Republican, more than a little exercised. "Could our own government have something to do with this Finders organization and turned their backs on these children? That's what all the evidence points to," says Lewis. "And there is a lot of evidence. I can tell you this: We've got a lot of people scrambling, and that wouldn't be happening if there was nothing here." Perhaps. But the Finders say there is nothing there - at least nothing illegal. The Finders have never been involved in child abuse, pornography, Satanism, animal slaughter or anything of the kind, says the group's leader, Marion David Pettie. Pettie, too, says the group has never been connected to the CIA. In an interview with U.S. News, Pettie described the Finders as a communal, holistic-living and learning arrangement. The group numbers some 20 members, Pettie says; they do freelance journalism, research and "competitor intelligence" for a variety of mostly foreign clients. The Finders work for no foreign governments, Pettie says. Their duplex, in a residential Northwest Washington neighborhood, is decorated with global maps and bulletin boards. Residents in Culpepper, Va., 90 minutes from Washington, say the Finders operated an office there, too, from time to time. That office contained computer terminals and clocks reflecting different time zones from around the world. CIA officials say they referred all matters concerning the Finders and the police investigation to the FBI's Foreign Counterintelligence Division. FBI officials will not comment. Law enforcement sources say some of the Finders are listed in the FBI's classified counterintelligence files. None of this fazes Pettie. He says the CIA's interest in the Finders may stem from the fact that his late wife once worked for the agency and that his son worked for a CIA proprietary firm, Air America. Overall, says Pettie, "we're a zero security threat. When you don't do much of anything, and you don't explain, people start rumors about you." To judge from the latest case, some of the rumors can last an awfully long time. By Gordon Witkin and Peter Cary with Ancel Martinez http://www.voxfux.com/features/cia_child_sex.html

DynCorp Disgrace Dyncorp Video Tapes Politicians F*cking Children During Junkets Middle-Aged Men Having Sex With 12-15 Year-Olds
http://www.rense.com/general19/disf.htm By Kelly Patricia O'Meara Insight Magazine 1-29-2 Americans were seen in Bosnia as defenders of the children, as shown here, until U.S. contractors began buying children as personal sex slaves. Middle-aged men having sex with 12- to 15-year-olds was too much for Ben Johnston, a hulking 6-foot-5-inch Texan, and more than a year ago he blew the whistle on his employer, DynCorp, a U.S. contracting company doing business in Bosnia. According to the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organization Act (RICO) lawsuit filed in Texas on behalf of the former DynCorp aircraft mechanic, "in the latter part of 1999 Johnston learned that employees and supervisors from DynCorp were engaging in perverse, illegal and inhumane behavior [and] were purchasing illegal weapons, women, forged passports and [participating in] other immoral acts. Johnston witnessed coworkers and supervisors literally buying and selling women for their own personal enjoyment, and employees would brag about the various ages and talents of the individual slaves they had purchased." Rather than acknowledge and reward Johnston's effort to get this behavior stopped, DynCorp fired him, forcing part of its business in Bosnia. But DynCorp was nervous. For instance, an internal e-mail from DynCorp employee Darrin Mills, who apparently was sent to Bosnia to look into reported problems, said, "I met with Col. Braun [a base supervisor] yesterday. He is very concerned about the CID investigation; however, he views it mostly as a DynCorp problem. What he wanted to talk about most was how I am going to fix the maintenance problems here and how the investigation is going to impact our ability to fix his airplanes." The Mills e-mail continued: "The first thing he told me is that 'they are tired of having smoke blown up their ass.' They don't want anymore empty promises." An e-mail from Dyncorp's Bosnia site supervisor, John Hirtz (later fired for alleged sexual indiscretions), explains DynCorp's position in Bosnia. "The bottom line is that DynCorp has taken what used to be a real positive program that has very high visibility with every Army unit in the world and turned it into a bag of worms. 't do an eight-hour day, they'll sign you in for it because that's how they bill the government. It's a total fraud." Remember, Johnston was fired by this company. He laughs bitterly recalling the work habits of a DynCorp employee in Bosnia who "weighed 400 pounds and would stick cheeseburgers in his pockets and eat them while he worked. The problem was he would literally fall asleep every five minutes. One time he fell asleep with a torch in his hand and burned a hole through the plastic on an aircraft." This same man, according to Johnston, "owned a girl who couldn't have been more than 14 years old. It's a sick sight anyway to see any grown man [having sex] with a child, but to see some 45-year-old man who weighs 400 pounds with a little girl, it just makes you sick." It is precisely these allegations that Johnston believes got him fired. Johnston reports that he had been in Bosnia only a few days when he became aware of misbehavior in which many of his DynCorp colleagues were involved. He te But they'd buy the women's passports and they [then] owned them and would sell them to each other." "At first," explains Johnston, "I just told the guys it was wrong. Then I went to my supervisors, including John Hirtz, although at the time I didn't realize how deep into it he was. Later I learned that he had videotaped himself having sex with two girls and CID has that video as evidence. Hirtz is the guy who would take new employees to the brothels and set them up so he got his women free. The Serbian mafia would give Hirtz the women free and, when one of the guys was leaving the country, Hirtz would go to the mafia and make sure that the guys didn't owe them any money." "None of the girls," continues Johnston, "were from Bosnia. They were from Russia, Romania and other places, and they were imported in by DynCorp and the Serbian mafia. These guys would say 'I gotta go to Serbia this weekend to pick up three girls.' They talk about it and brag about how much they pay for them ó usually betweenWomen are sold hourly, nightly or permanently." Werner admitted to having purchased a woman to get her out of prostitution and named other DynCorp employees who also had paid to own women. He further admitted to having purchased weapons (against the law in Bosnia) and it was Werner who turned over to CID the videotape made by Hirtz. Werner apparently intended to use the video as leverage in the event that Hirtz decided to fire him. Werner tells CID, "I told him [Hirtz] I had a copy and that all I wanted was to be treated fairly. If I was going to be fired or laid off, I wanted it to be because of my work performance and not because he was not happy with me." According to Hirtz's own sworn statement to CID, there appears to be little doubt that he did indeed rape one of the girls with whom he is shown having sexual intercourse in his homemade video. CID: Did you have sexual intercourse with the second woman on the tape? Hirtz: Yes Cractors were protected from Bosnian law which did not apply to them. They knew of no [U.S.] federal laws that would apply to these individuals at this time." However, CID took another look and, according to the investigation report, under Paragraph 5 of the NATO Agreement Between the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia regarding the status of NATO and its personnel, contractors "were not immune from local prosecution if the acts were committed outside the scope of their official duties." Incredibly, the CID case was closed in June 2000 and turned over to the Bosnian authorities. DynCorp says it conducted its own investigation, and Hirtz and Werner were fired by DynCorp and returned to the United States but were not prosecuted. Experts in slave trafficking aren't buying the CID's interpretation of the law. Widney Brown, an advocate for Human Rights Watch, tells INSIGHT "our government has an obligation to tell these companies that this behavior is wrong and they will be held account matter." Dolan says, "It's not just Americans who are participating in these illegal acts. But what makes this more egregious for the U.S. is that our purpose in those regions is to restore some sense of civility. Now you've got employees of U.S. contractors in bed with the local mafia and buying kids for sex! That these guys have some kind of immunity from prosecution is morally outrageous. How can men be allowed to get away with rape simply because of location? Rape is a crime no matter where it occurs and it's important to remember that even prostitution is against the law in Bosnia. The message we're sending to kids is that it's okay for America's representatives to rape children. We talk about the future of the children, helping to build economies, democracy, the rule of law, and at the same time we fail to prosecute cases like this. That is immoral and hypocritical, and if DynCorp is involved in this in any way it should forfeit its contract and pay restitution in the form of training about trafng in Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina." The discharge notice did not say how Johnston "brought discredit to the company." It soon developed conveniently, according to Johnston's attorneys, that he was implicated by a DynCorp employee for illegal activity in Bosnia. Harlin, the young high-school graduate Johnston complained had no experience in aircraft maintenance and didn't even know the purposes of the basic tools, provided a sworn statement to CID about Johnston. Asked if anyone ever had offered to sell him a weapon, Harlin fingered Johnston and DynCorp employee Tom Oliver, who also had disapproved of the behavior of DynCorp employees. Harlin even alleged that Johnston was "hanging out with Kevin Werner." Although Werner had no problem revealing the names and illegal activities of other DynCorp employees, Werner did not mention Johnston's name in his sworn statement. Kevin Glasheen, Johnston's attorney, says flatly of this: "It's DynCorp's effort to undermine Ben's credibility. But I think onapped from their homes. Who's the bad guy? Is it the guy who buys the girl to give her freedom, the one who kidnaps her and sells her or the one who liberates her and ends up having sex with her? And what does it mean when the U.S. steps up and says, 'We don't have any jurisdiction'? That's absurd." The outraged attorney pauses for breath. "This is more than one twisted mind. There was a real corporate culture with a deep commitment to a cover-up. And it's outrageous that DynCorp still is being paid by the government on this contract. The worst thing I've seen is a DynCorp e-mail after this first came up where they're saying how they have turned this thing into a marketing success, that they have convinced the government that they could handle something like this." Johnston is not the only DynCorp employee to blow the whistle and sue the billion-dollar government contractor. Kathryn Bolkovac, a U.N. International Police Force monitor hired by the U.S. company on another U.N.-related contract, hBRJohnston's attorney looks to the outcome. "How this all ends," says Glasheen, "will say a lot about what we stand for and what we won't stand for." Kelly Patricia O'Meara is an investigative reporter for Insight. http://insightmag.com/main.cfm/include/detail/storyid/163052.html Comment From Paul Walker pjw56@hotmail.com 1-29-2 Dyn Corp fits in with the UN sex slave trade in Bosnia as well. And this is what the New World Order promises, treating of human beings, especially children, as slaves. The maximum penalty for slave trafficking in the EU is five years. That is the maximum. I happen to know of people who got more jail time for abusing a dog. The UN refuses to punish its police who are involved in this slave trade as well. As we progress into the New World Order of the fascist EU, we will see even more injustice and evil. Also you must know that you may go to prison for questioning the legitimacy of the EU. You can also go to prison in the UK for lobbying to abolish the Monarchy there. Europe is now offiically under the sway of totalitarian domination by NATO, the UN, the Mafia, Nazis, Corporate Fascists, Monarchs, Papists and Communists. To them it make no difference as long as they get a cut of the profits and a place in the power structure of the Unholy Empire of the EU.

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

Oh, but I am, Dig, and I've read all the links you have put up about every single one of them. I've commented on them and have discussed ad nauseam my feelings and the reality of these things to any who will listen. I am sorry if my personal opinion has offended you, but as I stated clearly, I knew that my post would sit awkwardly on this forum. Even though PETA and some others feel 'animals' deserve rights...they are slaughtered, nevertheless for the public's best interest.

But someone had to click it and say, 'this isn't for real' - or at least to verify it was bad enough to raise a stink about. If I worked for an organization that worked to protect kids from these types, I would have checked it out - so that I didn't make a false assumption before raising hell. It might even be a good learning lesson for teenage kids to SHOW them what kind of SICKOS they need to avoid. Of course, it would only be to verify before raising hell. I'm not afraid to say that because I have zero issues with any 'temptation' in that area. But porn in general is a web that pulls you into it, slowly at first, then one needs a 'bigger fix' time and time and time again - it continues to get worse until a person is going places they would have never thought possible at first. The guy checking out 'busty brunettes' today - may, in a few years be on pedo sites - as they 'normal' stuff won't keep 'doing it' for them. I've found from my own experience that it's destructive for a healthy sexual relationship with another, porn in general. I know some will disagree - but I've been on both sides of the fence, no pedo BS of course, but porn.. yes. Then internet chat, etc. Not all will agree, but that's the case for me and I suspect - most others. I've never been happier - without it. Did you hear that clown on the news? Some news channel had an interview with him and he was saying, "oh well if it's consensual, I don't think there should be a problem or maybe a warning, but if it was rape, then yeah - maybe a couple years." What a sicko that freak is. Any kid would be 'scared' in a situation like that and there's nothing 'consensual' about a person driven by fear and self-preservation, as any kid would be. Even my first time, as a 15/16 year old with a girl around my age, I was quite apprehensive.

This may be off the topic but I am concerned about people resorting to Kindle, in general...
A mutual friend of my husband and I has a Kindle and downloaded 1984. He wanted to show my husband his Kindle and his index of books he has. Much to his surprise, he looked for his copy of 1984, and lo and behold, it was gone.
He called Amazon to lodge a complaint, and they said to him that they apologize for the inconvenience and that they had to delete it because there was a copyright infringement.
The thing that struck us was, that they can arbitrarily go in and delete certain books at will, without your knowledge. This to me, was pretty creepy. How convenient it would be for them to delete books they think were too politically subversive or historically accurate?
I can assure you, I will not have a Kindle on my Christmas list!

Look at it this way, this book is a good glimpse into a psychotic mind, and should be retained by the proper people to develop tactics against these monstrosities. No-one needed to be interrogated they provided it of their own free will, now we know what their sick strategies are and can better intervene. On the other hand it may be the encouragement for border line pedos to act out and in that case they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law but once again it was their own free will to that end.

There are people and places for this sort of investigation and study. I am sure there have been numerous studies on minds like Gacy, Dahmer and the like, but no one put out a book defining and instructing how one would go about courting, manipulating, murdering, dissecting, cooking and eating the victims of such men. Studies are studies, not instructions on how to go about doing something so illegal on humans who have no way of protecting or defending themselves. The author had the right to write it, given, but the rights and desires of the people should also be taken into consideration. Do we not support and defend that it is the voice of the people who initiate and define the laws governing their country and way of life within the parameters of the Constitution? Instructions or invitations to illegal activities whether in book form or any other form should be redefined within those parameters of the first amendment, where those involved have no way to defend their own amendment rights. Children have rights too...so where is the outrage for them? Why should one man's rights outweigh the rights of another?
