Alex .. please when raising money today do NOT disparage the people who can only contribute a small amount. Those small donations can add up really quickly! The other day a lady called in & said she had just donated $100 even though she had limited money .. and you were 'almost' rude to her, saying people who have limited means should not be donating at all because you know there are millionaires listening who could easily donate huge amounts!!! That was NOT A GOOD THING TO SAY!! In that moment, maybe one million people who were planning to donate $1 might have thought .. 'well I guess he doesn't need my donation since it is so small'.
Please encourage EVERYONE to FEEL and BE a part of this even if they can only afford 25 cents. It all adds up & in Jewish tradition, when you accept someone's gift however humble, you bestow a 'mitzvah' on that person by allowing him/her to give. A blessing. People want to feel they are a part of what you do... this is their chance, please encourage everyone!

I think you misunderstood what Alex meant. Since we are in tough economic times he doesn't want folks to donate IF it will hurt themselves financially. But even if folks are so strapped for cash that they cannot donate themselves, they can still help out by spreading the word about today's marathon and the moneybomb to encourage others to donate that have the means to do so. But, in the end, it is the decision of each of us what, if any amount at all, what we can donate or do to help out. |

you can not speed up the buffer, but you might be able to increase the buffer size. |

Heh, it appears as though "The Central Texas Command Center" deep behind enemy lines is right across the street from where I have been employed for the last 20+ years. I had my suspicions about this after seeing the film Don't Tread On Me, but now that I've seen the tour of the new studio, there is no doubt about it. I will not say where it is because I know Alex doesn't want people showing up there.
I hope Alex raises a million dollars and more to complete his studio. It looks like he plans to dig in there for the long haul.
