Limbaugh: ‘Some people are just born to be slaves’

By Raw Story
Saturday, October 9th, 2010 -- 7:18 pm

In a polemic almost worthy of Ayn Rand herself, radio host Rush Limbaugh explained Friday why equality is impossible and declared that "some people are just born to be slaves."

But that's fine, Limbaugh explained, because "everybody's needed for something."

"There is no equality," Limbaugh said on his radio show. "You cannot guarantee that any two people will end up the same. And you can't legislate it, and you can't make it happen. You can try, under the guise of fairness and so forth, but some people are self-starters, and some people are born lazy. Some people are born victims. Some people are just born to be slaves."

Well, he got half of it right -- but continues to fail at realizing this is an agenda! Dumb them down through "education" and become their saviour.

He went on to suggest intelligent design was responsible for this condition.  "Intelligent design" is code for "God wanted that way", with his crowd.

I think RL knows exactly what he is doing when he says stuff like that.

Only the most ignorant of man believe himself to be free because he cannot see beyond the cage, as we also all have limits place upon us.

And Limbaugh is certainly one of those people who lives in a prison but does not realize it; he most probably believing the money he possess is proportional to his freedom, half the words he speak are scripted by others.

Yes, and it so much easier for him to say while he scoops in the $$$$$ and doesn't have to work 60 hours a week at minimum wage.  Pffft! Tongue

Unless those "men"  were of African descent, or were women.   Then they weren't quite so equal.  Wink

Yes. Never forget that the signees of the D.O.I. were, for the most part, imperfect.  Limbaugh is half right, lest you be dishonest with yourself.

While I disagree with Limbaugh 85+% of the time, on this I feel the same... Intelligent Design has nothing to do with the philosophical aspect of his argument...

The opposite of his postulate is cultural marxism (political correctness) that suggests that all the "workers" are equal, deserve the same rations and care, and suggests that equality is the ONLY thing that binds a society together.  That is just not true.

Every society/community/neighborhood needs a doctor.... a teacher.. a barber..  a mentor.. a worker.. a sister.. a mother.. etc, etc, etc..

The stuff that binds is not the dogma received from the top, but the value and values each individual has, and projects.
