I think its more someone is bundling the lore of the conspiracy world into a well thoughtout storied mmo than a grand plan by the illuminati.

You have to admit that if you spend like 3 years immersed in those topics that you can't come up with an outline of a game. Every other day i kick myself over a new book idea.

Its not beating wow or swtor and funcom kinda fails sometimes too.
