Logan airport security just got more up close and personal as federal screeners launched a more aggressive palms-first, slide-down body search technique that has renewed the debate over privacy vs. safety.

The new procedure - already being questioned by the ACLU - replaces the Transportation Security Administration’s former back-of-the-hand patdown.

Boston is one of only two cities in which the new touchy-feely frisking is being implemented as a test before a planned national rollout. The other is Las Vegas.

In all seriousness,and I know this sounds crazy,but,,,,,,,,if ya know your going to be traveling,then don't bathe for a week prior.

Nobody,but nobody is going to spend any more time than they have to inspecting you.

Years ago,when I was trucking,many,many years ago,I was always in a hurry and got to where I refused to spend the extra time stopping and bathing,hell,I was in a hurry,wanted to get home.

But you would be surprised how many people would get out of my way,put me at the front of the line,LOL,just to get rid of me,so I learned to use that as a tool for my hurried pace and it worked every time.

So,just don't bathe,lol,free pass.

Oh,I bathe daily now,well,almost,lol

I don't find it dehuminizing at all Dig.Extreme measures ( their dehuminizing searches ) require extreme counter measures.And when those counter measures don't require the use of violence,that's even better.

Think about it for a minute.What is dehuminizing is being forced to scrouge for food and housing  ( like so many are right now ) or being forced to flee to the woods ( which many will find dehuminizing ) for ones own freedom and safety due to the socialism that is taking over our country.Many "sheeple" simply will succumb because they know of no other way or find it dehuminizing to do any differently.

Maybe I mistook your reply and if I did,I apoligize in advance,but I have absolutely no problem at all with fighting fire with water.

But then,where I live in the bush of Alaska where it has been 7 weeks since I have even seen another human being,the only body cavity searches that are going to be performed on me will be by a Brown Bear,and I ain't about to argue with him or her,,,,unless of course,,I get the first shot off,lol.

But then again,there are many that would find my lifestyle in the bush here as dehuminizing when the fact is,I am happier,healthier and far more able to care for my needs and myself than I ever was in "your world" and far less likely to ever see "big brother" knocking on my door.
