The above "Alive" vid joiner i hadn't full tested and it turns vids out bad, here's a very good vid joiner : Power Video Joiner 5.2
The above vid cutter "Power Video Cutter" is very good too.

Note : on this free-version it leaves a three second advert at the start of your joined vid, BUT you can use the vid cutter to remove it.

I've been using Presto Videoworks to make vids, but have just noticed it reduces the audio quality somewhat, to counter this, once you have made your vid you can add the original audio with this re-mastering tool, FX New Sound :
