Viggo rocks.

Saw a bit more of him than I wanted to in "Eastern Promises", but it was still a good movie.

he's starred in a few other underappreciated movies IMHO.  hidalgo, eastern promises and a history of violence are all good movies.

Also those unappreciated LOTR movies that no one saw.

Ah THAT'S where i know him from!  Grin

I spotted only one significant piece of symbolism in the movie, in one of the shelters they stopped in for the night, behing them as they shared a couple insects between them, outside the window was a big menacing pyramid, suggesting, at least to me "The hidden hand" may have been involved in the destruction.

I have lived this scene many times the last 10 months... minus the pyramid of course...  Grin

I thought that was a just a pointy hill when I saw the film, but maybe it was supposed to represent a pyramid.

Actually it's got a kinda confirmation stamp within this scene that backs up this theory and that is the fire in front of it, fire on the water, the reflection of the sun bouncing off the pyramid on the reflection of the sky on the desert floor.
