For the past month or so, it hasn't not rained at all, but it came very close to raining a few times though.

The rain storms come by, and they have all the clear signs it is going to rain, from the dark clouds, high winds, and the smell of rain in the air.

But, then it all passes over, without raining at all, or just a few drops of rain fall, but that is it.

I am wondering if this has to do with The Gulf of Mexico Oil Leak?

Maybe there are too many chemicals from the crude oil and dispersants are in the air for the right clouds to produce rain, or those chemicals in the air are blocking the rain clouds?

Same here in East Tennessee. I believe we're just over 7 inches UNDER what we need this year. It's been so dry for the past month. I believe yesterday (Wed) the temp got up to 102 here. For this region that's very odd for this early in the season.

I haven't noticed it smelling like it had rained here but I did notice, coming home from work Tuesday that the air smelled like smoke. For the entire 7 mile drive it smelled like a garbage dump had caught on fire or something along those lines. Very odd indeed.

It sounds as if they have been using HAARP to lift the ionosphere and diverted your rain.  I wonder why...sorry it smells so bad.

I hope they don't plan on setting the continent on fire -- it's already hot enough.

Record highs and record lows.

Record low temperatures in San Diego County

While much of the nation swelters, in San Diego people have to bundle up at the beach.

This is July?

It didn’t feel that way as high temperatures were at record lows in San Diego County today, says the National Weather Service. It was quite a contrast from the East Coast, where such big cities as New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore experienced record highs.

Whelp, so far it has rained, but not like the down pour of rain you would expect from hot humid temperatures.

I live in the East, and we've had some torrential downpours the last few days.
